Many "modern" astrologers still use the Lot/Part of Fortune, but the reason why they no longer use the other Hermetic Lots is unsettling. Above all, we can only stress the importance of the Lot of Daimon (or Lot of Spirit), as significant as the Lot of Fortune:

" The Hermetic Lot of the sun is simply known as “Daimon.” This is probably confusing considering we just discussed daimons being lesser spirits. The calculation of the Lot of Daimon is: ASC + Sun - Moon (Day Charts) ASC + Moon - Sun (Night Charts).

Then you'll have to examine its position in sign, house, the position of its ruler/dispositor and the potential conjunctions with planets and fixed stars to get a clear image of your "Daimon".

If you want to add a hellish flavor to the whole, you could search for the Goetic Demon associated with the decan of your Lot of Daimon.

Venus in Virgo Information

Venus in Virgo can be a very misunderstood placement to have. With traditional astrology, Venus is in its fall in Virgo. This means that the light, open, accepting energy of Venus is inhibited by Virgo.

Virgo can be a very loving concept, but the mental energy it takes to accept Venusian influences is difficult for Virgo! Virgo analyzes, rehashes things again and again, makes sure that they are making choices that will benefit their overall plan, and thinks about how to improve any energy that it touches.

Venus, as a planet, is willing to accept without thinking, to perform as if in an unrealistic romantic movie at times, and to nurture without question. Venus celebrates carefree moments where love and passion shine, and Virgo is always waiting in the shadows to remind one of their commitments, obligations, and to bring some realism into the mix.

While this isn’t a bad thing, it can be frustrating to Venus in Virgo people to feel this sense of restraint in relationships. Do you feel as if you don’t get the same romantic attention as some of your more lighthearted friends do?
