When you point out character flaws most misdirect their emotions rather than face the truth about themselves. As an elder I have a responsibility to speak the truth however spirit gives it to me. You have to learn the lessons if you want elevation. I didn't always like what my elders had to say either, yet they were right. If I only knew then what I know now I wouldn't have been popped by life and the consequences of my actions so hard.
