I started a daily sketchbook and wanted to share some highlights. i’ve found it to be very meditative and fun to go back to traditional art.

obviously there’s a lot of missing days since i started on christmas, but they’re either personal or really cringy fanart lol 😅

i’ll probably share more once i’ve built up another stack of good ones

OKAY SORRY I feel like I'm spamming but I finally got the big itch to draw and I feel better now.

This is VERY inspired by the work of @troxlerfx who has gorgeous traditional art of Wally that I still think about all the time!!! My style can't capture the same vibe but I def burrowed some of the feeling from their work! Pales in comparison imo but their work is SO inspiring for REAL!

Silly guy I need him trapped in my basement with his ankles and wrists in chains and he's wearing a pretty dress which is a microskirt and a tank top and I give him a chain and tell him to saw all his limbs to escape me and while he does that I give him estrogen and I record his whimpers

Defiance in Red Another culture piece this time of a Guǐ. Which just means invisible, unworldly or formless in chinese. Which roughly can translate into a demon, ghost, or soul of the dead. 

I just felt like drawing something gnarly, and I wanted to pick something from one of my cultures. I may do other cultural monsters/demons from Jamaica and China in the future.

Had fun with this with minimal shading letting my lines speak vs high shading. might continue this route in the future with my sketches <.<;
