((Evening y’all. I’m back. :V

Sorry for yet another hiatus: life kinda...hasn’t been treating me well, honestly. I lost my grandmother, lost my job due to budget cuts, my thesis got delayed again, and have been fighting uphill against my mental health for well over a month now. Has not been fun.

That being said, I might have a...thing prepared for this blog in the near future. Do stay tuned, something new is coming soon...

((I LIVE. And hoo boy, the last few months have been a heck and a half. For those of you who have not been keeping up with me on Twitter/Discord, here be-ith the short version of everything that's happened: I spent most of December, including Christmas, sick as a dog, had a change in my lab schedule in early January that ate up more of my time/sanity, lost my grandfather in late January, got out of mourning just in time for my anxiety meds to be adjusted in February, and now I'm here. Good. Freaking. Gravy. Anyways, there will be a flurry of replies later on this afternoon/into tonight, and then, once those are up and taken care of... The new plot begins. Mallew is going to wake up, and there's more than a little that's happened to him in the interim between when he fell asleep and now... I wonder how 4 months of peaceful sleep, far away from the Wrath that plagues him has changed him. I do wonder, indeed. :3 Anyways, y'all tune in for the plot post tonight, then feel free to mess with him. Should be fun. Stay awesome and talk to y'all later!))

Update: IT BEGINS

((*slides in* Hello, friends. Apologies again for disappearing for such a long time: I'm still busy with school and labwork, but I do have some replies lined up for all of you, will be wrapping up Duet's M!A, and I have some other momentous stuff lined up for today... Including a new muse. Yes, a new muse. Anyway, before all of that, I do want to update everyone on me health, as I did get a few anons/messages while I was away. Yes, I'm okay, just busy. I also did go in help with my mental health issues, and turns out I have severe anxiety and will be on medication soon. It's been a little rough around here coming to terms with that fact, but the first step to me getting better is treatment, so here we are. So ye, I'm good: life is just doing it's thing, and I'm a busier goose than usual. Anyways, here's the itinerary for today: I'll be posting a bunch of replies, then I'll be wrapping up Duet's M!A, and then, then dear friends... The new muse shall emerge. ((*crashes in* Hello everyone. :V Here with a few announcements and such. 1) I plan on being back soon, and almost have a profile/plot set-up done for the end of Duet's current arc and the start of the next one...including a new character that will soon become involved. I am excited. 2) I have a discord now! It's tragicquartet (full tag: tragicquartet#5196) which I'm now using a bit more than Skype due to Skype slowly having more and more glitches on my devices as time goes on/updates get added. Update/Important Info

Howdy, all.

I hope you’ve all been well.

I do have some new stuff to post today, but first I wanted to address an elephant in the room and get something important expressed here.

I’m sure most of you have noticed by now, but things run slowly on this blog. I sometimes take weeks, even months to reply to threads and asks, and storylines take a long, LONG time to wrap up, as well.

I’ll be honest with you: things around here are slow, and they’re going to stay slow.

I’m currently working my way through upper academia, pursuing work in my field, as well as tending to my fragile mental health. I suffer from anxiety, depression symptoms, as well as dysphoria. I spend most of my days grinding away at academic writing in a toxic lab I got locked into for my master’s thesis, working/looking for work and opportunities in my field, and tending to my mental health, which, I’ll be honest, hasn’t been good in years.

I don’t have much energy or time for any of my hobbies, writing included.

I’ve struggled lately with what to do with this page, in light of these circumstances: is starting threads and storylines, only for replies/events to move forward maybe 1 or 2 times a month causing harm? Am I letting people down, annoying them with my slow reply schedule? Am I causing more anger and annoyance than I am happiness, fun?

I’ve grappled with these questions for quite a while now, and I’ve come to a decision as to what I want to do on here.

I’m not leaving, but I think things need to be more clear and stated up-front on here: this blog is active, and I am working on material for it, but it takes time.

Replies will take anywhere from a weeks to a month or more to get to. Asks will remain as usual: replied to when I have time and gone through mostly in a first-in first-out order.

Storylines and events will continue, just at a slower pace. You’re free to interact with them as you may, but be aware that replies to interactions will take just as long as other replies.

I’m well aware that this is not ideal for an RP blog, for a blog where I want people to read and interact with my stories, but I can’t lie to myself and cause myself discomfort and panic over forcing myself to update a fanfiction blog when I have pressing life matters to deal with.

I do this as a hobby, set in a universe and with characters I love, but I cannot take hits to my own mental health for the sake of pushing this project along faster.

I love MSA. I love this universe and its characters, and it has inspired me immensely over the years. I wouldn’t be here after 6 years if it didn’t. But I’m also a person with a busy career and my own mental and medical burdens to bear.

I still have a lot planned for this blog, storylines for just about every character, tons of plotlines, twists and turns, new content and timelines and characters, all of which I expect to last well after the series itself wraps up.

I have no intention of leaving, and I hope to keep you all entertained (intermittently) for years to come.

That being said, if you’re not interested in waiting long swaths of time between bits of activity, I understand. Please message me if you want our threads dropped, and feel free to unfollow if you want, I won’t judge you.

As for me, I’ll be here off and on, and for those who choose to stay I hope you enjoy the ride. I’m in this for the long haul, and I hope you enjoy what I have in store, given though it may be only here and there over months.

((Getting a lot of messages again, so I'm just here real quick to say that I'm fine, just very busy and currently sick. Had a lot of family stuff happen over the holidays, I'm still job-hunting, school started back up, and I'm currently quite sick...so I haven't really been online due to life.
