I adore Twilight Princess, it was the first Zelda game I ever played and…awakened a few things in me haha. This year I got the manga and also the Midna statue that glows in the dark so, it’s the year of Twilight for me haha.

im back losing my mind about her but i will NEVER shut up about how much respect and trust tp zelda has for link who is essentially just some guy she just met (as a wolf at that) and how she always makes it a point to kneel to be at his level while he’s in wolf form and then bowing to him at the end like. ugh my girl

This may be a stupid question but do you ship Zelda x link in every game or in some games you have another ship with like link or Zelda with someone else that’s not zelink?

as a general rule i ship pretty much every zelink yeah! the only exception is twilight princess, where i think zelda is barely enough of a character to be shipped with ANYONE but i'd still choose midna over link. i like certain other ships containing those characters too, but im generally of the mind that they are soulmates who find each other in every incarnation :)

ok so in my head, after midna destroys the mirror and the adventures over, he tries to go home and settle back into his old life. At first it's fine, but he quickly becomes restless with the mundane day-to-day of ordon village. He tries to force himself to stay in town because he loves his people and his family, and he wants to be there to help them, but it quickly becomes obvious to everyone he's more than outgrown the town. It's not a surprise the day that he decides to leave, and the villagers all help prepare and give him gifts for his journey :3 When he reaches hyrule castle again, Zelda has already been expecting him, she can relate to the way he feels changed after everything. She offers him a role as a royal knight. At first Link is still a bit intimidated by her, since she's a princess, but due to her knowing so much about him and his journey already (like his ability to turn into a wolf, Midna, the battle with ganon, all that stuff) it becomes easy to confide in her about other things. Basically they become best friends hehehe Most of my art is probably like.. 3-4 years after the game haha, Link has been her knight for some time, but it's mostly just a paper title. He goes on adventures to save villages and hunt monsters, and comes back to gossip with her over tea or stand tall and intimidating next to her during meetings with other kingdoms LMFAO. I would say she pays him to do what he wants but... he probably doesn't even accept payment, he just does what he wants with a royal title attached. Because of their closeness, rumors spread that they're together romantically, but Link and Zelda wouldn't describe it as that. However, neither of them have any interest in marrying anyone individually and consider each other their other half <3

I imagine them as physically affectionate in terms of hugs/non-lip kisses, but I see them both as heavily on the aro spectrum, and Link as really asexual.

hey I would genuinely like some input because I'm being called misogynistic on twitter for this art and I really don't want to be hurtful.

so I wanted to redraw this with mike, will, and el:

because I wanted to draw something artsy and symbolic of the love triangle / mike being torn. I changed the sword to will's painting to further convey that (at least, in my mind that was the idea!)
