~The FNaF 6 fire never actually set everyone free. Henry was set free because he was reunited with his daughter. Elizabeth, William, and Michael weren’t because Garrett wasn’t there. 

~ Susie, Gabriel, Jeremy, and Fritz were set free in the Happiest Day minigame, just not Garrett or Charlotte.

~ TOYSNHK (Cassidy) is a manifestation of Garrett, not an actual person. So, Cassidy = Garrett.

~ Andrew did torture William, but then was set free.

~ Light Remnant gives life, and has healing properties. It has the texture of powder, or saw dust. But, it can be 

~ Dark Remnant is similar to agony. Ingesting it will cause a high fever and extreme sickness, and can result in nightmares. It’s often in form of goo, or slime. When it isn’t contained in a space, it will spread in the form of sticky vines.

1980's ~ Both Mike and Cassidy were experimented on using gas, seeing the nightmares.

1983 ~ Cassidy Afton was bit by Fredbear and rushed to the hospital.

1983 ~ Fredbear's was shut down.

1983 ~ William Afton stole Cassidy's body, stuffed him into the locked box, and buried him in his backyard.

Plot: 

Purple = Important

-After Devon died he possessed Fredbear with Garrett, Devon being in control. -Charlotte finds the suit as charred Lefte mistaking Devon for Garrett.

-Devon learns about all the past tragedies and agree’s to help.

-Charlotte with the help of Garrett open up the underground bunker in the fnaf 4 house (Sister Location) and steal the Illusion Disc dropped from Freddy in the scooper room

-They find remnant and nightmare gas stored all around the bunker, taking them back to the old Fredbear’s which is their base.

-Charlotte uses the illusion discs to appear as a child again so she can go out in public and use library computers to help find the other locations. (She cant remember them)

-Charlotte being used to older tech can’t figure out how computers works and returns to the base to get help from Devon. She figures she can separate them from the same animatronic using the scooper.

-They all return to the bunker and use the scooper on the Fredbear animatronic, successfully pushing Devon out of the animatronic and putting Garrett in control.

-With everyone seeing Devon as human he goes to the library with Charlotte and finds an internet forum detailing another building (fnaf2) Cyril ending up leaving a comment on it saying he lives right by it and Devon ends up dming him and getting the cords for it.

-Devon having decent knowledge of driving (he passed a driving test before he died.) agrees to take them to the coast, Charlotte uses the disc to appear as an adult so they dont get pulled over.

-After realizing they don’t have a car, they end taking several ubers with spare money Garrett found in an open safe in Fredbear’s

-They get a beachside town and Devon talks to Cyril who was hanging out with Greg, ended up taking them to the building. Devon and Charlotte find the broken down Fetch and ask about Greg’s story.

-Embarrassed, but he tells, Cyril backing him up. Charlotte takes off the illusion disc, showing herself as Lefte and explaining Devon was also a victim to Afton’s creations.

-Greg, who after the events of Fetch ended up studying tech agree to help. Greg returns to the base hours away, taking his computer with him. Showing them that the Fazbear Franchise was still very popular in the toy industry.

-An old listing shows a store in a mall that used to sell toys, they could probably ask around. They take a train hours away to a city after getting off Greg spots the runover and tainted Plushtrap Chaser. They end up asking online about it.

-Oscar ends up seeing it and responds with his story, they meet up and tell all of their stories asking Oscar to help them. Oscar declines because his mom needs him. But points them to a still running Freddy’s location.

-They go to it, hearing a noise in a dumpster they find a Lonely Freddy doll possessed by Alec and he explains what happened. They take everything back to the base, putting Fetch and Plushtrap into Storage.

-Charlotte begins to plan out where William could be, and Devon says he had a vision the night before of a gross pizzeria with faded Freddy and Friends on the wall. Before admitted he had drank some dark remnant the night of the vision.

-With an experiment they make Devon drink the dark remnant again and he has the same vision, in the dream he exits the pizzeria and asks someone where he is, and they tell him the address. When he wakes up they check the address and its correct

-They go to the pizzeria and find a boy that looks at Charlotte afraid. They ask if he knows what his place used to be and Oswald explains after Greg tells his story. Oswald says he can see what Charlotte really is (Lefte).

-They try to use the ballpit but its been removed and thrown away. Oswald says he can’t go back with them because the base is too far away.

-Devon comes up with a plan and a day later they return with the gas, secretly spraying the pizzeria with it for days until the man owning it quits and they move everything into the building so they can be closer to Oswald and Oscar. (Plus the old base is collapsing on them.)

-They steal the toy animatronics from Jr’s and use them as security guards.

Okay, so something about Ultimate Custom Night that I just realised and have to share with someone:

One of Charlie-Puppet's death voice lines is "The others are like animals. But I am very aware."

So, first, the others? Who are the others? Well, from one of Charlie's other voice lines, the answer to that question is quite obvious: "The others are under my protection." They're the missing children.

And that's when something struck to me about that first line. If the other (child) victims of Afton are truly "like animals" and so "not aware"... then how can fanon Cassidy possibly be the Vengeful Spirit?

How can she create a custom hell just to torture the man who killed her? How can she bring these monstrous things to life? How can she make them taunt Afton so personally? Not in the sense of "how is she capable of this" but in the sense of "how does she have enough cognisance to be capable of this". Hell, how can she herself even talk through the animatronics, let alone so eloquently, if she is "like an animal"?

After all, fanon Cassidy is supposedly the fifth missing child. What reason is there for her to be any different than the others?

With all of this in mind, Charlie's voice lines work to further support Mike as the Vengeful Spirit of UCN in my opinion. Because there are many words to describe Michael Afton post-scooping. "Unaware" is not one of them.

like, okay. we know of a minimum of 3 spirits in UCN. charlie, TOYSNHK/mike, and dave.

but MOST of the animatronics have lines! most of them are self-referential, some reference or are said by mike, and then some...well.

i highly recommend hearing them yourself, theres a lot of them i didnt know abt like rockstar bonnies, but heres a few of my faves.

ok SO. let's start with the main line everyone knows: I was the first. I have seen everything.

This line has thrown the death order into question. After all, If Susie was the first death, what about CCassidy and Charlie? What about Elizabeth?

But. That assumes Susie is saying this. Which she can't be, because not only is that not Classic Chica, but Charlie has already established that the others are "like animals", and therefore wouldn't be able to talk at all.

No, no. This line, much like the animatronics themselves, was made by the one he should not have killed: Mike.

Ok, but: How do we know for SURE that it's Mike? Well. A few reasons. Let's start simple: Orville.

This is a line you're probably familiar with. It is said by Mike through Orville. This line quickly establishes 3 key points:

Someone tried to release both Dave and Mike

Mike won't let that happen

Mike and Dave have been burned together, possibly by a third party, multiple times

*pulls up fnaf 3* Do we actually know that Mike set the place on fire? Would he know how that affects REMNANT at this point in the story?

OR...was there foul play involved? Did Henry burn down both FNAF3 and FNAF6's pizzerias? Did FNAF3 fail because the building was designed with fire safety in mind and Henry's was designed for his ridiculous plan? We know he has access to the SL blueprints, they're on the computer in FNAF6, theyre LABELED HRY. Was he part of Dave's insane plans until it got him arrested?

Who knows! It'd make a good narative tho. Anyway, observe some more lines.

I believe these lines are all more references to Mike. Mike knows about the scooping room and controlled shocks. Mike was the one who heard "You won't die" at the end of SL. Mike has seen the Nightmare animatronics. Mike has been hiding in Dave's shadow all his life, has even been mistaken for Dave.

And, as a bonus, 3 lines I think are interesting.

Two references to "I will put you back together", and this line from Nightmarionne.

"I am the fearful reflection of what you have created" is a fascinating line; this could apply to a lot of animatronics, and especially any of them in UCN, but it's given to Nightmarionne. I think this line is a reference to Charlie: Charlie, who doesn't hate Dave. Charlie, who only wants Dave out of the way. Charlie, who tries to keep her solutions peaceful. Charlie, who Dave killed.

And Nightmarionne, who is haunting Dave. Nightmarionne, who is the fearful reflection of his most pacifist victim. Nightmarionne, whos image has haunted Mike [assuming the Halloween Update of FNaF4 was canon, which it must be if its animatronics are ALL IN UCN].

ON THAT NOTE I FORGOT SOMETHING: THE ANIMATRONIC LIST ITSELF.

This clearly isn't a comprehensive list of animatronics by game. "Everyone is here" would be a lie. And yet...you have unimportant cameos like Lolbit, JJ, and Phone Guy, not to mention the Mediocre Melodies, Trash & the Gang, Helpy, the Rockstars, and El Chip. Why are THEY here?

Simple. Shrimple, even.

They were important to Michael Afton, manager of the FNaF 6 Pizzeria.

Yes, a lot of the absences are likely Scott struggling to think of interesting mechanics. I'll give him that. But I think it's notable that EVERY FNaF6 animatronic is here, despite the fact that I legitimately don't think the fanbase at large would've noticed if he hadn't included the Mediocre Fucking Melodies.

opinions on cassidy five nights at freddies and the golden duo theory

anon do you realize you’ve asked me about my favorite topic?

TLDR, i dont like either of these theories! but i love talking about them, and if you WOULD like to read about it, i will ramble at length under the cut

so I’ve already spoken at length about my issues with the cassidy theory but here’s a quick rundown:

if shes real, she is one of the most important characters in the entire series and we know literally nothing about her. her name was gotten from a cypher in a word search, and her popular fanon design was just a random kid on the same page (or a different page that was also cassidy relevant? idk) (also also, i have seen a great theory that midnight motorist is actually about cassidy, and honestly id love it if that were true and this was hidden cassidy lore all along, but the character is only referred to with he/him pronouns, which leads to my next issue)

every character that refers to her uses male pronouns. the only argument i could see for this is retcon, because im not going to argue with people that republican scott cawthon made a character named cassidy with he/him pronouns. this would have to mean that sometime between the security log book and UCN scott changed cassidy into a completely new character, which to me, is a much bigger leap than the retcon from “SAVE HIM” to charlie, but, thats just me :/

her name was removed from princess quest, which signifies to me that she is not supposed to represent the princess in that game. steel wool has hidden lots of easter eggs and lore hints in the code, but to my knowledge the only one they’ve removed is the princesses name as cassidy (renaming her just ‘princess’ i believe). imo, it makes more sense if the princess represents vanessa, seeing as they follow the same path, both collect the vanny mask, both get trapped by glitchtrap, beating the game frees vanessa, etc etc etc

my honest opinion? everything she represents in the story would be better served to a pre-established character. i KNOW im biased as a charlie stan, but literally why isn’t TOYSNHK charlie? shes already established as having more control and awareness than the other spirits and likely was the only one who personally KNEW afton when she was alive, giving her even more motive to hate him. or even CC would make more sense! arguably the very first child to die to an animatronic, narratively, it’d make way more sense for it to be him. hes been stewing in agony and remnant for decades, seeing everything his father does, the one character who ACTUALLY has a connection to the golden freddy suit, and! now that we have a slightly more concrete answer to the fnaf 4 cameras from sister location, could actually be counted as one of his fathers victims!

okay, now with that out of the way, onto why i specifically dont like the golden duo theory, because, here’s the thing, even if I could accept cassidy as a Thing in the franchise (which i can! she’s been acknowledged by scott so I have to accept that shes at least real in some capacity [cassacity]) i STILL have issues with the golden duo theory for different reasons

the first and biggest reason is simply that CC is a hugely lore relevant character, who has an actual backstory, a tie to the main villain and the main protagonist (if you consider michael the protagonist, which i personally do), and makes narrative sense to possess golden freddy (the animatronic that killed him, not to mention his father possesses its counterpart, i mean come ON that is just a delicious parallel!!) cassidy, meanwhile, is a name you can find in a word search. and thats pretty much it. (not counting the yandere simulator chica mini game as actual cassidy lore. im literally just saying no. you cant make me.) im sorry, but it just cheapens CCs role in the story. there is literally no point in making him share golden freddy

its just not present in the games at all. there was every opportunity in UCN to hint/tease/confirm this but none of those things were done. the ONLY thing i’ll grant is that “The One You Should Not Have Killed” and “The Vengeful Spirit” COULD MAYBE be different characters, but why would they be? that sounds like two similar descriptions of the same character to me, personally.

the only evidence for it in the books is that, if you ALREADY believe that cassidy and CC are both possessing golden freddy, you can then reverse engineer that theory into “cassidy is TOYSNHK” by saying its a parallel to the stitchwraith plot line. feels more likely to me that TOYSNHK was originally just going to be andrew from the books? i just dont see how any of this actually ties to cassidy

the security log book. i hate the stupid security log book. everything in it is so arbitrary but its also the lynchpin for major fanon accepted theories. sorry but the “two spirits are talking to each other and also michael i guess” just doesnt hold water for me. why is the dialog on random pages out of order, and why does some of it not even line up with each other. the logbook honestly made more sense to me when the theory was bite victim=michael, the way it is now just seems like people deciding it means whatever they want it to mean

okay now this one is a little more nitpicky but im including it anyway (this is again more of problem with cassidy in general but stay with me) including cassidy in the missing children incident would mean we have five missing kids (cassidy, fritz, jeremy, gabriel, and susie), and then separate from that incident i guess, is charlie, and then also separate from that incident is CCs death, so seven dead kids in total (ignoring elizabeth since shes at SL, and also the “second missing children incident”, which is another theory i dislike but thats a rant for another anon messenger). with that math, that means someone HAS to be excluded from the fnaf 6 gravestone ending and i hate that. if cassidy is one of the missing children then shes the obscured gravestone, and then only charlie or CC could be the one in the distance, and excluding either of them feels wrong. CC is (arguably) the first kid to die in a freddys and (arguably….) what started everything happening, and charlie is the one to help the others possess the original suits. they are both more established characters than cassidy, who, again, we know nothing about.

all of that is to say this: if cassidy is a thing, why does she have to be in golden freddy? can i tell you what id prefer? what i think would be so much more narratively satisfying? what i lay awake at night staring without blinking up at the ceiling gritting my teeth wishing was real? i wish…cassidy was possessing freddy. freddy, og brown freddy, is the face of the franchise, and has literally zero lore significance. the only reason we know who possess him is from inference from the fnaf 6 gravestone pic lining up with the fnaf 3 ending head placement (does this sentence make any sense? can anyone hear me?) if cassidy is freddy, then charlie is the fifth missing child (i see no reason why she couldn’t be, theres nothing to indicate that the kids all died on the exact same day) and CC is golden freddy and the narrative is satisfying. cassidy can still be important, can even still be TOYSNHK for all i care, and CC can continue to writhe around in golden freddy in the 5020 ending.

deep weary sigh. i think…. thats actually all i have to say on the subject. if you’ve read this far thanks and also sorry. i just wanna cap this off by saying im not mad at anyone who likes cassidy theory or likes cassidy as a character, i have absolutely no problem with any of that! my problem is entirely with scott, who has just dropped this deus ex machina william-afton-seeking-missile on the table in front of us and refused to elaborate.

Im thinking of things i might not have shared already BUT ill also just drop a rundown of what happened bc i think some stuff has changed since last time i told it

basically mikes 10th or 11th (havent decided yet) birthday rolls around and hes messing w his friends and they lock him out as a joke. mildly annoyed, he just goes around to the back but finds he doesnt have his father's key with him like he's supposed to. luckily, william is there! and. stabs him. charlie dies shortly after in the bite, the missing kids (including mikes old friend sammy who was NOT involved in the party incident) all die (cassidys not in this au btw lol sammys toysnhk) and then sees evan get killed by circus baby. this whole time he's dragging them back because he wants revenge on his father, however sammy doesnt need dragging. he accepts michaels offer immediately. In fnaf 2, the security guard is the chica bully (who i have yet to name and fun fact she's transgenderrr mtf) and mike sends mangle after her while distracting her. she gets bite of 87ed. Michael chases henry into the fredbear suit and kills him, applauds evan for killing elizabeth before ditching him when he explains that he brought her back via remnant, and targets her and henry for the entirety of fnaf 6 before being caught in lefty and stopped for one night despairing over being trapped and shocked. buuut he returns the next night with a VENGANCE. he also joins sammy torturing will down in ucn.

NOW FOR THE NEW STUFF

He's way younger than teen mike but he does still have a habit of lashing out especially at evan. however when he sees everyone die that lessens a bit, and he often worries about evan stuck down there in the bunker, since hes the only spirit michael cant keep an eye on. they are, after all, under his protection. thats not to say charlie doesnt take that role, and she takes it much more seriously. they are TRULY under her protection and she is a lot kinder than michael is. but ill ramble about her some other time lol. when evan scoops liz and is kicked out of ennard, michael is ecstatic! his brother is back and they dont have to worry about elizabeth getting involved anymore! until evan reluctantly explains that liz is not dead for good. michael is upset with him, and evan defends her, saying its not fair that she has to suffer for what their father did and INSISTS that she wasnt actually working for william. but mike doesnt buy it and waves evan off. he cares about him, sure, but hes not exceptionally worried, and now evans pissed him off.

later, when henry goes to the saferoom and michael kills him, charlie and sammy are incredibly upset. they both defend henry, and michael ends up ditching them and turning the missing kids against them. because sammy chose this life to get rid of will, and charlie wasnt even murdered, so CLEARLY they have no say in this. (mikes just a bully and also second oldest only to sammy)

but then the missing kids move on and michael stays behind. because hes not done yet! hisdads still here! and everyone left him and hes soooo pissed because all thats left is charlie, sammy, evan, and henry. (oh and molten freddy) and hes just!!! ARGH!!! ITS NOT FAIR!!!! and uaufhuh
