I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD ASK ABOUT THE TRIX ONE LOL. I’ll get to all of these below the cut, except for the Emoji Movie AU because that deserves its own post, and some tiny insight on the NLNY chapters (which I will put in a reblog)

That Netty Sure Can Plays

Basically, I’ve been planning on retconning some mechanics in NLNY, right? Now that I’m into Hermitcraft and stuff? Yeah so that includes canonizing Watchers in some way, it won’t have any bearing on the plot of NLNY at all and will be unobtrusive but it does explain what in the sam hell happened to Netty.

So far, I have some ideas with how I want Watchers to act, their motivations, their own moral code, etc. but like I said I’m still in the process of learning about EVO so like. There’s not much. Matter of fact, the only thing I have written in this document is a small poetic verse (they speak in rhymes most of the time) from the Watchers to Netty, will probably be reworked.

So disciplined, prodigious, ask any of your Witnesses.

We’ve seen you, Netty Galago. You’re blessèd with a drive to know.

I have plans. I’m rubbing my hands together like an evil mastermind. I love the idea of being able to connect fics to each others canon while also being able to ignore them if you don’t like them… it’s so Swagful. Like if you don’t like Watchers you can just. Ignore The Netty Fic and pretend she just disappeared randomly or something and it won’t break the immersion too much aside from one or two references.

TRIX UP MY SLEEVE

Yeah, one day I got bored and thought “hm what if cereal fanfiction…” and I wrote up a small intro paragraph and never worked on it again.

Tricks the rabbit had once more been met with failure in his attempted robbery of a bowl of Trix cereal. The phrase “Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!” had been permanently engraved in his brain at this point, and it had lingered in his mind since that fateful day of his very first cereal heist. He just wanted some nice breakfast, but he could never catch a break with these kids always on his tail.

He looked up in the sky, and noticed a rainbow being painted across the atmosphere’s aquamarine canvas. Atop it sat Sir Charms, a devious prankster leprechaun who was always just one jump ahead. Tricks refused to admit it, but he envied the man. Sure, he didn’t play fair, but he always got what he wanted in the end.

Then, an epiphany struck him like a train at full speed. The only way to get his little paws on a bowl of flavored cereal was to ditch the typical practices. No more dress-up, if he wanted those Trix, he couldn’t keep playing into those kids’ hands. The rainbow was his road map, the destination was success. Sir Charms was bound to be at the end, and Tricks knew if he cranked up his charisma, he could certainly get a few trade secrets out of Sir Charms. An ingenious plan, absolutely flawless. How fitting, for what would hopefully be his final conventional scheme.

Within moments, he was off to find the end of the rainbow.

Would’ve been a pretty generic story I think? I don’t remember if there was any romance between the two planned— there probably was, knowing me at the time (this was before the Stampy fixation but it was after 2020).

Minecraft crossover fic for the hell of it

I’m very much still workshopping it. This was basically me just being like, what if Toycat put a bunch of less-written-about YouTubers I like into a world together. I actually didn’t include the title of this in the post because I forgot I actually titled it. I called it “Toycat is Yes” and I only ever wrote a small “summary” description that would be under the fic if I posted it.

Toycat gets bored and establishes a monarchy. His subjects are at his whims.

hiveswap. i am SO GLAD YOU ASKED because i have put thoughts-o-many into this

for me i find that there are four explanations within my personal worldbuilding for this:

Some Players spawn like mobs. A world or server is old, and the universe drops in a new one. They could be a human, they could be part mob, they could be an anthropomorphic mob

For me, Scar and Cub are part of this. They were Spawned in one of the mansions, which is why they're vexes. Doc, similarly, was spawned.

A human Player gives birth, and their child was born a hybrid by random chance, because their parent(s) spent a prolonged time in a specific biome, and The Universe is giving them an advantage. Someone's parents spent a long time in a Swamp, they are partially Slime. Someone's parents spent a long time in a Jungle, and they are partially ocelot.

Generally speaking, I think all of the Hermits were Spawned rather than born, but i think dsmp!Fundy could be an example of this. Part of L'manburg was sort of Taiga- or at least man-made Taiga from all the 2x2 Spruce that grew there.

Some Anthropomorphic animal Players, such as Stampycat, Ballisticsquid, Toycat, etc. were normal Mobs in Single Player worlds. The Players who created the world deleted it, and without a Player the world would destabilize. Instead, the Universe selected pets, nametagged animals, etc. and turned them into Players so that the world may continue it's existence.

Metamorphosis. Otherwise normal Players developed traits similar to Mobs and their body irreversibly changed to fit that idea, or to suit their surroundings. Perhaps it's sometimes a trauma-response, but sometimes it's just The Universe going "oh you are so goat-coded" and changing you.

Bdubs as a Glare, Etho perhaps as an Enderman, etc. and depending on your idea, Grian.
