Do you think Toxie Doxie should be revamped into Wanda's villain or just stay as a Carol Danvers' villain?
Toxie Doxie isn't a Carol Danvers villain-- she's only been in one issue of Captain Marvel and it was a weird Christmas special with Santa Claus. Beyond that, they've only ever fought each other in ensemble books. Their stories and origins do not intersect in any meaningful way.
Also, I don't know if you know this, but sometimes villains can just exist as themselves or as part of a group without having to be assigned to a specific hero. I feel like there's a weird obsession with "rogues galleries" going around, and I don't think the concept suits most of the character or series that it gets applied to.
It might be fun to see Wanda confront June about her impersonation but I don't think that June would make sense as a recurring Scarlet Witch antagonist. Pitting Wanda against someone who primarily uses chemistry as a weapon would give her the opportunity to do some creative stuff with her probability powers, but that's just not what modern Scarlet Witch stories are focused on.

Dark Avengers: 10 Most Powerful Members in Marvel History
Marvel’s Dark Avengers team hasn’t been around for long, but its various iterations have included some of the most powerful villains and antiheroes in the Marvel Universe. First formed by Norman Osborn during his Dark Reign leadership of H.A.M.M.E.R., the Dark Avengers were an intended insult to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (Avengers), with major villains dressed as their iconic costumes.
Norman Osborn got the public’s attention on his by manufacturing his own version of heroes like Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man, often by recruiting those who hated the original heroes.
While the Dark Avengers may have been fake heroes, they were always intended as an effective strike force against the biggest threats the world had to offer, helping Norman Osborn to retain his power.
From Doctor Doom and Morgan Le Fay to the Molecule Man and the Gods of Asgard, this Supervillains team took on towering threats, rising to the occasion with earth-shaking powers.
10 Gorgon
9 Iron Patriot (Dark Avengers version of Iron Man)
8 Toxie Doxie (Dark Avengers version of Wanda Maximoff)
7 AI Apaec (Dark Avengers version of Spider-man)
6 Sueperia
5. Moonstone
4. Skaar (Son of Hulk)
3 Ragnarok (Dark Avengers version of Thor)
2 Ares
1 Sentry

Inhuman of The Day
September 25th - Richard Schlickeisen
A latent Inhuman who was encased in a Terrgenic cocoon following exposure to the Terrigen Cloud. Mr. Schlickeisen had been Spider-Girl’s (Anya Corazon) social studies teacher in school and his unhatched cocoon was stolen by the renegade science coven known as AIM.
AIM ultimately sold the cocoon to Dr. June Covington, the super villain also known as Toxie Doxie. Spider-Girl and members of The Avengers ultimately succeeded in tracking Covington down, defeating her, and saving Mr. Schlickeisen. Covington had preformed procedures on Schlickeisen, isolating his specific Inhuman DNA, extracting it, and transferring it to herself, effectively imbuing herself with his Inhuman powers. This power entailed the ability to be invisible to any and all forms of electronic detection. For instance, The Avenger, Iron Man, was unable to see Schlickeisen in that he was invisible to Iron man’s digital readout.
Spider-Girl and her Avenger colleagues were ultimately able to save Mr. Schlickeisen and defeat Dr. Covington and her forces.
It remains unknown it Mr. Schlickeisen maintained any of his Inhuman gifts or attributes and his current status and whereabouts have been thus far unrevealed.

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
January 11th - Spider-Girl
Aña Sofia Corazon was born in Brooklyn New York but spent much of her childhood in Mexico where she excelled at gymnastics. Her mother was killed when Aña was an adolescent, leading to she and her father relocating to New York City where her father worked as an investigative journalist. The death of her mother instilled in Aña a deeply seated anger and desire for justice. She took to calling herself Anya in that so many of her new peers had such trouble properly pronouncing her given name.
One day at her new high school, Anya witnessed some older boys bullying one of her friends. Anya intervened and challenged the boys to a fight. The fight was interrupted by a teacher yet they all agreed to meet up later that night to have it out.
When she got to the arranged spot, Anya came across a man who was being attacked by a strange group of women. This group turned out to be The Sisterhood of the Wasp, an ancient and secretive sect of religious zealots who have waged a centuries-long war against a similar sect known as the Society of The Spider. The man whom the Sisterhood of The Spider was attacking was a sorcerer of the Spider Society named Miguel.
Anya helped Miguel escape from his attackers. In return, he bestowed onto her mystical powers so that she might become a ‘hunter’ of the Spider Society. These powers included greatly enhanced strength, durability and dexterity as well as the capacity to generate a blue, spider-like exoskeleton.
Anya used these new powers to become the heroine ‘Araña’ battling the Sisterhood as well as other super powered villains. Eventually Anya relinquished her role as the Society’s hunter, passing the mantle onto her colleague, Nina. Although no longer affiliated with the Society of The Spider, Araña continued on as a superhero, later becoming something of a sidekick to Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers).
Anya lost her superpowers during a battle with the villain known as The Doomsday Man. The villain was eventually defeated and Anya continued on as a costumed hero, now relying on her gymnastic skills and proficiency as a hand to hand combatant.
Her activities as a hero proved much more difficult without super powers and Anya was abducted by Ana Kravinov as part of a broad scheme to resurrect Kraven The Hunter. In the wake of these events, Julia Carpenter became the new Madam Web and passed her old Spider Woman costume onto Anya. Anya used this costume yet maintained the name the alias of Araña.
Soon thereafter, Araña joined forces with a group of teen heroes to create the team known as The Young Allies. The squad only remained together for a short while whereupon Araña continued on as a solo hero. It was around this time that Anya begrudgingly changed her codename to Spider-Girl (a name people were calling her anyway and too few could properly pronounce Araña).
During the course of the Spider-Island event, Anya was bestowed super powers roughy analogous to those possessed by Spider-Man. Soon thereafter she was recruited into The Avengers Academy and had a number of adventures alongside the other students. She also had a brief romance with her fellow student, Reptile.
During the Inhumanity Event, Anya’s high school teacher was transformed into an Inhuman and was abducted by the villainess known as Toxie Doxie. Anya was able to get the Avengers (specifically The Black Widow and Spider Woman) to aide her in rescuing her teacher and defeating both Toxie Doxie as well as a cell of the science terrorist group known as A.I.M.
Later, Anya partnered with Spider Woman and joined the Multiversal Spider-Army when the Inheritors threatened to destroy every Spider totem from all realities. Soon thereafter she became a founding member of the Order of the Web with the other spider heroes as part of an effort to save Peter Parker from Norman Osborn and The Sin Eater.
Spider-Girl first appeared in the pages of Amazing Fantasy Vol. 2 #1 (2004).

Jude’s 32nd Birthday Wishlist
Yeah, I’m posting this now. Because if I’m getting the holiday prompt list up for everyone else I might as well.
This year has been a fucking nightmare. You’ve all seen my posts about what’s been happening in my life. With my mom, and the house, and the mortgage and everything. It’s just been blegh. So I might as well.
That’s why when I put this together I made it entirely villains and antagonists.
07th Expansion: Featherine Augustus Aurora
The majestic Witch of Spectating and Theatergoing, who is said to have died and come back to life to surpass the realm of witches. She’s considered to be a total monster by the likes of Bernkastel, and has the power to simply pull out reality’s script and change it at her whim if she feels like it.
Avengers: June Covington (Scarlet Witch/Toxie Doxie)
A scientist with an affinity for poisons and body augmentation, she has no regard for human life and enjoys experimenting on herself. She served as Norman Osborn’s Scarlet Witch in his second version of the Dark Avengers.
Batman: Nocturna
Natalia Knight, a morally complicated jewel thief who fell in love with Batman, and later became the foster mother of Jason Todd. Her relationship to Bruce and Jason was erased thanks to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Unfortunately, later characters using the Nocturna name have been written as sexual predators, though they are NOT Natalia Knight.
Captain America: Superia/Broad-Stripe
Diedre Wentworth is a noted misandrist who has tried to take over America using an organization of all female supervillains called the Femizons. She at one point altered time by inserting herself into the early days of the Avengers under the name “Broad-Stripe.”
Courage the Cowardly Dog: Benton Tarantella
In life, Benton was a serial killer who posed as an amateur director. He killed over a dozen people before he was finally put in prison. Benton spent the rest of his life behind bars and died, but came back as a zombie.
Dial H for Hero: Ayenbite
A shadowy spirit of remorse summoned when Q-U-E-D is dialed.
Doom Patrol: The Toy
A later member of the Brotherhood of Dada.
She’s often late, and people die because of it.
Flash: Lady Flash
Christina Alexandrova, a.k.a. Lady Savage, Lady Savitar, what have you. A Russian speedster and cocaine addict who became obsessed with Wally West.
Goosebumps: Lucy and the Camp Spirit Moon ghosts
Campers and counselors who were killed by a mysterious black fog, left to haunt the grounds of Camp Spirit Moon. Their only means of escape is to possess a living body. Anyone who tries to leave the camp on their own becomes part of the black fog.
Graveyard School: Aunt Mab
Kyle Chilton’s supposed great aunt, or rather his grandfather’s aunt’s cousin or something. She looks extremely young for her age to the point she doesn’t seem human. She enjoys subtly screwing with Kyle’s head.
Green Lantern: Lord Malvolio
A mysterious alien whose parents were a Green Lantern and an Earth woman. His battles with Hal Jordan ended with the implication that Malvolio tampered with Hal’s ring.
Gundam: Katejina Loos
A selfish young woman who tried not to get involved with the League Militaire’s battle against the Zanscare Empire, only to gradually lose her morals and sanity after she was rescued by Chronicle Asher of BESPA
Iron Man: Hypnotia
A seductive hypnotist and top henchwoman for the Mandarin, she is lusted after by Dreadknight and Blacklash but desires only Tony Stark
Justice Society: Harlequin’s Son
A time lost forgotten antagonist connected with the Justice Society and Infinity Inc., son of Molly Mayne, the original Harlequin
Legend of Zelda: Twinrova
Gerudo sorceresses Koume and Kotake raised Ganondorf and act as his servants, watching over the Spirit Temple and brainwashing the thief Nabooru to serve him. While fighting the Hero of Time, the two combine into Twinrova.
Legion of Super-Heroes: Saturn Queen
Eve Aries of Saturn’s moon Titan. One version of this criminal telepath traveled back in time and helped raise Superman and Batman from childbirth with her cohorts Lightning Lord and Cosmic King. This Eve somehow survived the rebirth and destruction of her universe and ended up in the Phantom Zone.
Magical Girl Raising Project: Melville
A nomad Magical Girl with a rather bizarre speech pattern. She has the power to change her color, letting her blend into the background. Melville wields a harpoon and a bow as her weapon.
She is an ardent supporter of the Musician of the Forest, Cranberry, and will use any means possible to kill her opponents
Mahoney’s: Tormenta
The ebon sorceress and frequent patron of Mahoney’s, she’s crushing hard on server Blender.
Mario: Sue Pea
A ghostly little girl who took a nap and died in her sleep. She haunts the guest room in Luigi’s Mansion.
Power Rangers: Dark Rangers
Lord Zedd’s attempts at creating his own set of Power Rangers. The first group was made up of bullies from Angel Grove High. The second time he went international and recruited criminals from around the globe. The third time, he empowered his minions and a putty duplicate of Rita Repulsa.
Sailor Moon: Zoisite
One of Queen Beryl’s Dark Generals, a smug, vain, and manipulative bastard happy to use underhanded tactics and backstabbing to get what he wants.
Sleeping Beauty: The Evil Fairy
Whether it’s by Disney, Jetlag Entertainment, or Shelley DuVall, she exists to not get invited to the princess’s christening and gets super pissed off. So she curses a baby to die at age 16, and even when the spell’s altered to an eternal slumber, she won’t be deterred. You’ve got your Maleficent, your Odelia, and your Henbane.
Spider-Man: Talon
A “trust fund baby” named Cheyenne who moonlights as a cat burglar, out to steal items of sentimental value from famous people

An egotistical and unpopular girl who gained the power to control minds from the Big Bang. She went on a rampage after no one would nominate her for student body president, and tried to take over Dakota.
Supergirl: Superior Girl
Belinda Zee, an unstable duplicate of Linda Lee created when kryptonite rays were filtered through a projector. She’s pretty, popular, and absolutely horrible.
Superman: Puzzler
Valerie Van Haaften is an obsessed Superman fangirl who decided to get his attention by become a supervillain. She now has a body made up of enchanted puzzle pieces she can manipulate with her mind.
Super Sentai: The Flowery Kunoichi Team

Titans: Dark Angel
An evil, demonic witch obsessed with making Donna Troy as absolutely miserable as possible. She’s the person who destroyed Donna’s past and succeeded in making it impossible for it to be straightened out.
Urusei Yatsura: Ran

Hey, this is an assortment of random Marvel characters who are very minor but I think are cool and interesting for whatever reason.
Nocturne: Not to be confused with TJ Wagner, Angela Cairn wore the codename of Nocturne first, though far less famously. A police detective who was devastated over the death of her partner, Angela went on the search for a serial killer, only to fall into the clutches of one of Baron Zemo’s mutates, who forcibly mutated Angela as well into a mute, empathic, bat-winged being called Nocturne. Nocturne struggles greatly with acceptance of herself, but finally arrives at the conclusion this was in fact her real self all along, and it comes off to me very much as a coming-out story, as I write about HERE.
Solarr: Silas King was a drug smuggler and, unbeknownst to him, a latent mutant. When his van broke down in the Mojave desert, he nearly died from the heat, but the same sun that nearly killed him also activated his latent ability to absorb solar energy and discharge it as heat blasts. Calling himself Solarr (yes, with two Rs) he began using his powers for common crimes such as bank-robbing, which brought him into conflict with Captain America and other heroes…and into partnerships with other villains such as Klaw. This eventually landed him in Project Pegasus, a prison for super-powered criminals where they were also studied by scientists in hopes of developing alternate forms of energy. Solarr was killed by another inmate during a jail break. Solarr was not a nice or moral man, and was in fact murderous and cruel in pursuit of his greed, but it was a sad ending for him nonetheless.Though he was inexplicably named Bill Braddock rather than Silas King in the 1990s X-Men cartoon series, he has no relationship to Betsy and her siblings.
Lourdes Chantel: A native of Barcelona, Lourdes was a mutant teleporter and the fiancee of Sebastian Shaw. She met him long before he became Black King of the Hellfire Club, or even rich at all, and they fell in love. However, when Shaw was inducted into the Hellfire Club, and then its Inner Circle, Lourdes was concerned. A member of the Hellfire Club herself, she knew how it changed people, and feared (rightly so) that it would corrupt her lover. She also feared the machinations of Edward Buckman, the White King, and believed he was planning to stab Shaw in the back. Her predictions proved true; she died saving Shaw from Sentinels sent by Buckman to kill all the mutants in the Hellfire Club, and Shaw avenged her death with Buckman’s murder, becoming the new Black King of the Club—-exactly what Lourdes would NOT have wanted.
Toxic Doxie: Sometimes called Toxie Doxie instead of Toxic Doxie, Dr. June Covington doesn’t much care for either “codename” that the press has given her. A beautiful, brilliant scientist and remorseless sociopath, Dr. Covington craves genetic perfection she’s quite willing to kill others to get it. After all, she deserves it, being so perfect herself. To this end, she’s given herself an array of unusual superpowers using her “genetic plug-in” technology, such as neurotoxic blood, antispetic saliva surgically implanted gills, thermal blasts from her own body heat, and “invisibility” to machines. June served as the “Scarlet Witch” in Norman Osborn’s “Dark Avengers”, complete with wearing her costume, so if you see a blonde lady in Wanda’s getup—don’t worry, whitewashing the Maximoffs hasn’t gone THAT far yet, it’s just June!

Who the Heck is Barney Barton?
So the hazard of playing c-list characters is you often come across the fact that they are a) not in any movies or shows and b) barely in any comics. Fear not though! Because no one has time to read the (arguably not great) few runs Barney is actually in, I’m here to give you an abbreviated history of just who 616-comic verse Charles “Barney” Bernard Barton is!
Charles Bernard Barton is born in Waverly, Iowa on August 4th. He is the first son of Harold and Edith and the eventual big brother to one Clint Barton.
The early Barton household was toxic - Harold was a drunk and abusive and when Barney was 11 Harold and Edith die in a drunk driving accident with little fanfare.
Barney and Clint bounce around from foster care for a few years.
At the age of 14, Barney convinces Clint to run away to the Carson’s Carnival of Traveling Wonders.
Under the Swordsman, Clint and Barney learn how to throw knives, fight with swords, and steal. During this time, Barney takes on the role of sole provider for the boys and essentially raises Clint.
Realizing how deep the Swordsman’s crime ring goes, Barney eventually starts working on his GED with hopes of doing more with his life. He tries to convince Clint to do the same, but disagreements begin to cause a rift.
When Clint confronts the Swordsman about stealing from the carnival itself, a fight leaves Clint in the hospital and the Swordsman flees.
The brothers argue, furthering the rift. Barney, 21 and GED in hand, tries to get Clint to join the Army with him. When Clint refuses, Barney leaves.
Barney is with the Army for 8 years. He is honorably discharged and joins the FBI.
At 32, Barney shows up at the Avengers HQ to warn them of Egghead’s doomsday ray in space. He accompanies the team - including Clint at the time - to space to destroy the ray. In the process, he is killed.
Barney’s body is recovered by Egghead, who - upon finding the faintest signs of life - puts him in an accelerated healing chamber.
Barney is in suspended animation for an undetermined amount of time.
After Egghead is killed and the incident with Moonstone, Baron Zemo discovers Barney and revives him fully with help of the moonstones.
Trained by Clint’s old mentor, the original Trick Shot, Barney engages in a death match with a nearly blind Clint. Barney loses.
Regardless of this, Barney still willingly agrees to donate bone marrow to save Clint’s eyesight.
Barney is kept jailed in Avengers Tower until the events of Fear Itself. He is inside the Tower when it collapses and sustains severe injuries.
While in the hospital, Barney’s death is faked by Norman Osborn and he is recruited into Osborn’s SECOND team of Dark Avengers.
When this team is defeated, Barney is jailed with the rest of the now defeated team at The Raft.
He is recruited to the Dark Avengers again in order to find a missing team of Thunderbolts. It is during this time that he is implanted with nanites to insure he remains under Luke Cage and SHIELD’s control.
During this rescue attempt, Barney is part of the team that is accidentally dumped into the Dark Dimension. Here, the team’s nanites are rewired by Hank Pym to ensure they can be controlled by a twisted, dark version of Tony Stark.
Barney and company escape the Dark Dimension and with the help of Toxie Doxie evade SHIELD custody.
Barney eventually reconciles with Clint (see Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye run).
Want the full history? Take a gander here! Otherwise, the above is for the most part canon on this blog. I will state that I have the right to change or tweak the the above at any time, but for the most part this is Barney’s history as per 616-canon.
A few things that are worth noting that have changed for this blog:
Barney was in suspended animation for 3-5 years before he was found and revived by Baron Zemo.
It is not stated explicitly how Baron Zemo convinces Barney to fight Clint to the death. This blog recognizes a certain amount of involuntary manipulation and will continue to do so.
Barney’s nanite control is currently held by SHIELD. The existence of these nanites is not known outside of SHIELD, the Dark Dimension (if it still exists), and individuals with the ability to deep hack the above two.
Barney went back to a life of crime to support himself after leaving the Dark Avengers.
Because of his ties to said crime ring (and for his ‘work’ with enhanced individuals) Barney was offered a probational position with the FBI. The alternative was jail.
He busted a large part of the Swordsman’s old crime ring and continues to try to take it down to this day.
As of right now, Barney is on good relations with Simone and her family, but is not currently engaged in a relationship with her.
He does not own an island.
Barney currently goes by Charles Bernard to distance himself from his own bad name (and from Clint).
#[ headcanon ]#[ v: 616 ]#[ it's the tl;dr version of barney's convoluted and sparse 616 origins! ]#[ yaaaaaay! ]#[ para : professional garbage provider 2k19 ]

I know John later becomes field leader of the Dark Avengers, but I’d just like to appreciate that just like his kid brother Clint, Barney knows how to lead a team, and has a tactical mind. It’s not shown here, but a few pages later he also gives a good order to trick the villain to go somewhere else. In fact, this entire chapter of the Dark Avengers, until they go to the Dark Earth, Barney is field leader.
