Tours Kimberley: Popular Places You Need To Visit
The Kimberley region of Western Australia is one of the most remote places on Earth. It's home to some of the world's most spectacular natural wonders, including waterfalls and rock formations that can be found nowhere else on earth.
The best way to experience such majestic beauty? By taking Best Tours of Kimberley Adventure. In this blog post, we'll give you all the details about what you need to know about tours in the Kimberley region.
The Horizontal Waterfall
Australia's longest waterfall, the Horizontal Waterfall is located in Western Australia's Kimberley region. It’s a popular tourist attraction and can be found along the Gibb River Road.
The waterfall is named after the shape of its pool, which resembles a horizontal line rather than following the natural curve of most waterfalls. This unusual shape makes for some amazing photo opportunities!
The waterfall has an impressive width of 647 metres (2,119 feet) and extends over 2 kilometres (1.24 miles) from top to bottom! That's longer than Niagara Falls!
The Kimberley Coast
The Kimberley Coast is one of the most spectacular coastal drives in Australia. It is home to many hidden gems and some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia.
The Kimberley Coast offers a unique glimpse into the rich history of this part of Western Australia, including ancient Aboriginal rock art sites, a traditional fishing camp and shipwreck sites.
The area has a wide variety of wildlife including dolphins, sharks and humpback whales along with other marine life such as dugongs and turtles which can be seen during whale watching tours in season (July to November). If you're looking for adventure head out on a guided walking tour or horse riding experience along stunning white beaches or explore remote inland areas by 4x4 vehicle or helicopter flightseeing tour!
King George Falls
King George Falls are located within the King George Falls National Park, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The falls are also known as Bungle Bungle Falls, which is a misnomer derived from the local Aboriginal language. They were named after King George V and were discovered by a surveyor named John Forrest in 1879.
The falls contain several tiers and can be viewed from several different vantage points throughout the national park; however, viewing options vary depending on when you visit (i.e., during wet season or dry season).
Bungle Bungles
The Bungle Bungles are a rugged sandstone formation in the far north of Western Australia. The name comes from the Aboriginal word 'bunggul', which means "place of water". The Bungle Bungles are a World Heritage Site and one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations.
The distinctive landmass was formed by wind, rain and erosion over millions of years. It consists mainly of sandstone plateaus that rise up to 550 meters above sea level, but there are also some slopes with steep gradients down to the surrounding plain where you can find footprints made by dinosaurs about 200 million years ago!
The Gibb River Road
The Gibb River Road is a spectacular drive through the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The road is one of the most remote roads in the world, and should only be attempted by experienced drivers.
The Gibb River Road begins at Kununurra and travels east to Derby before turning north-east towards Wyndham. At this point it becomes unsealed, but remains passable with an all-wheel drive vehicle or high clearance vehicle.
While there are many popular destinations along this route—including Windjana Gorge Nature Park and Tunnel Creek National Park—the best place to start your trip is Cape Leveque Roadhouse.
From here you can hire an outback adventure tour guide or set out on your own (with a support vehicle) to explore some of the stunning natural features of this part of Australia’s remote Outback interior including Lake Argyle, Wave Rock and King’s Canyon.
Conclusion
We hope you’ve enjoyed this little Best Tours of Kimberley Adventure through this blog. If you ever have time to stop by, we’d love to show you around!

Wimbledon WD R2: Miyu Kato/Aldila Sutjiadi [3] def. Yana Sizikova/Kimberley Zimmermann 7-5, 6-4 Match Stats
📸 Eurosport
Dila/Kato's handling of the crucial points not only resulting in the opportunities they made (10), but also converted 30% of them. Smashing their way to go were one, but being aggressive while trying to drive Yana/Kimberley off the balance was another. As a result, the latter's service games became pressed, and Dila/Kato carried on with their moment.
Speaking of their service games, Dila/Kato landed 71% first serves and dominated from there, winning 20% more points than Yana/Kimberley, with one ace as a complement. On the other hand, as a result of Yana/Kimberley's second serves being pressed, not only they double-faulted five times, but they could not capitalize on their 21% advantage there than Dila/Kato, mainly due to not maximizing follow-up serve returns on rallies. Shot rushes at the end did not help, hence their higher possibility of being outhit at the end of the day.
A big challenge awaits for Kato/Dila as Su-Wei Hsieh/Barbora Strycova won their second-round match against Ekaterina Alexandrova/Zhaoxuan Yang 3-6, 6-2, 6-4. While Su-Wei/Strycova are in their comeback trail, their game and depth showed that they still got it, but they have beaten Dila/Kato in the second round of Madrid M1000 (clay) last May. This should be an exciting but tough encounter for sure!

THIS Sunday (July 9th), the KEGG Community Garden will be one of the 6 gardens being toured on the 6th Annual 'The Art of Gardening Tour' (which includes refreshments afterwards at Centre 64)!
This lovely event is not just a wonderful display of community gardens and gardeners (although it is definitely that), BUT, as the name implies, there is also subjective & interpretive (and alive) "art" on display in each garden, which varies by each artist/gardener (with the one always-involved collaborator being Mother Nature).
For example, up in Townsite, our KEGG community garden metaphorically paints with a focus on 'food production' over 'pretty flowers' (as our mandate is to donate 1/3 of our produce to Healthy Kimberley Food Depot, to be used in their community meal preps and/or given out to the community as picked), which means some of our prettiest colours are often hidden underground in our beets, carrots and radishes until pulled from the brown earth (although, if you're a fan of the colour green, our visible canvas is always filled with that hue).
But that's also a main part of the art of gardening — it's not just something that you can see, it's something you can smell and touch and taste and talk about with your friends & family & community… and like all good art, it's something that can inspire you to go try out for yourself or to go collaborate with others (or a bit of both).
In other words: we look forward to being apart of this celebration of local gardens & gardeners… and we're honoured to be a piece of this year's 'The Art of Gardening' community garden masterpiece!

I know that at least two Jellylorums were also Christines in "Phantom" (Marni Raab and Sara Jean Ford)--would you happen to know who some of the others were?
Are you looking specifically for Jellylorums that were previously Christines, or more like the general Phantom - CATS or CATS - Phantom pipeline? I can give you a decent list of both, since we'd be atom smashing two hyperfixations together.
Format: NAME OF PERFORMER - Role in Phantom (Role in Cats)
Sorted by part played in PotO - I won't be naming all locations of productions these individuals were in for the sake of some kind of brevity. Since you asked mainly for Jellylorums who have been Christine, I have taken the liberty to BOLD them for easy reference.
(Note that this is not an extensive list - just a bulky one - I was already getting too long in the tooth haha)
MAIN TRIO
Sarah Brightman - Christine Daaé (Jemima - OLC)
Nikki Ankara - Christine Daaé (UK 1st Tour) (Jellylorum - London)

Why Many People Are Taking Tours To Kimberley?
Kimberley is the city where you can find a lot of things to do. If you want to go there, you should know that there are many tourists who visit Kimberley because of its beauty and attractions.
Luxury Tours to The Kimberley have different things that they can do while they are there and they go back home with a lot of memories as well as stories to tell their friends about what happened on their trip there.
Because of the beauty of the place
This is the reason why many people are taking tours to Kimberley. They want to experience the beauty of the place and its rich culture.
Kimberley is located in Northern Cape province and it has been named as a national heritage site by UNESCO for its natural beauty, cultural values and historical significance. It has been known as one of South Africa’s premier tourist destinations for years because of its outstanding natural features like mountains, waterfalls and wildlife species.
Because of the attractions
There are many attractions that you can visit at the Kimberley. One of them is the Mitchell Falls, where you can see a waterfall that is more than 100 meters high.
The view from there is very beautiful and worth seeing. You can also visit the Tunnel Creek, which has some interesting things inside it such as paintings and other stuff left by people who lived there years ago.
There are also some other places in this area that you can go to like Windjana Gorge National Park and King Solomons Mines National Park which have many interesting things for your trip here!
There are many places to visit in the Kimberley and if you have time, it is advisable for you to spend some days there. You can also go on a day tour if you don’t want to spend too much money or take your time off from work.
You can also visit the area around Broome and take a cruise on the famous Indian Ocean. This is one of the most popular things to do here and many people come here just for this purpose alone. It is very interesting to see how beautiful the ocean looks from up close.
The hiking tours
The hiking tours are the most popular, and many visitors to Kimberley take advantage of these amazing experiences. The trails offer a chance to see things that you normally wouldn't get to see on your own—and if you're lucky, maybe even spot some wildlife!
The hiking tours can be done by yourself or with a guide. If you choose the latter option, then your guide will be able to point out all sorts of interesting things along the way. They'll also know what kinds of animals live in which areas—and if they spot any interesting creatures during their hike, they'll tell everyone about them (and take pictures).
Hiking is great year-round: there's not much difference between winter and summer temperatures. However, some months tend to be drier than others (e.g., February) so check weather reports before heading out into nature's wildness!
Conclusion
The Kimberley is a beautiful place to visit, and there are many reasons why people come here. The most popular reason for taking tours to Kimberley is because of its beauty and attractions.

In the second set, an erratic service game led Yana/Kimberley to face 2 break points before Yana's lob to Kato's backhand went too far for their fourth break point. It was converted at the expense of their shot rush, resulting in Dila/Kato leading up a break to 3-2, consolidating it with a smooth hold (4-2).
However, two games later, Dila/Kato almost broke for the match after having a match point only for it to be saved after an unreturned serve. Yana/Kimberley then held their service games to 5-4 afterward, having Dila/Kato to serve for the match–which they successfully did (to 0) to take the second set 6-4 and securing them their third round ticket.

Tuesday 9th April 2024
The plan today was to take a trip up Table Mountain. However, best made plans and all that, didn't quite work out. The main reason for this, and quite a good one as reasons go, was that as far as we could tell, there was no Table Mountain. Where it was supposed to be was the biggest cloud ever. The Tourist Information lady was insistent it was not worth going; maybe tomorrow she said. Well, how about going to the wine fields instead. The bus went at 8.30 she said, it's not possible today.
So with the aid of a flip chart and slide rule we rescheduled and bought a ticket for the around town HoHo. In time this took us to the cable car for Table Mountain. Eerily, cables emerging from the terminus at a 45° angle were quickly immersed in cloud. That's official then, it's off for the day. Our hop-on completed its loop and we were back at the Waterfront enjoying a flat white. Tomorrow we are booked on the tour to Robben Island so we thought we'd pop into the Robben Island museum to do a bit of swotting up before the trip. Now I really don't know why we do this to ourselves, but we utterly depressed ourselves regarding the life of one famous inmate, Robert Sobukwe who happened to be a member of the PAC (Pan African Congress). Wherever we go we seem to come across desperate stories of heroes in our lifetime whose bravery we have either had no idea of, or we have entirely overlooked. This man was jailed for 3 years in 1960 for standing up for the rights of his people, not released at the end of his term; instead sent to Robben Island where he remained until 1969. He was then sent on to Kimberley spending the rest of his life under 12 hours a day house arrest, dying in 1978 from lung cancer. It would seem that Robben Island has been used in many ways since 1658 when the Dutch installed its first political prisoner. Since then it's been used by both the Dutch and British for all sorts of groups; lepers, prisoners, lunatics, you name it. The island's best attribute is that it's almost impossible to escape from. Let's hope we catch the return boat tomorrow. I'm sure by then we'll be completely suicidal and we haven't even touched on apartheid yet!
South Africa has indeed had a chequered history. Discovered by the Portuguese, then owned from 1652 courtesy of the Dutch East Indian Company until 1795 when the British took it because they were worried the French might take it. In 1802 the British handed it back to the Dutch, only to take it back again in 1806 because this time we were having Napoleonic war problems. Confused? I'll say but it must have been far worse for the South Africans. From one day to the next they wouldn't know if they were Dutch or British. Then in May 1961 they declared themselves a Republic and they became South Africans so that sorted it. Let's hope we shall be better informed tomorrow after the visit to Robben Island.
Back to the Waterfront for a rubbery chicken, roast potatoes, salad and of course a bottle of very reasonable SB and watching Mission Impossible.
Busy day tomorrow hoping the drizzle might have stopped.
