X-ray detectors Market is expected to reach USD 6.1 billion by 2031
The global X-ray detectors market was valued at USD 2.9 billion in 2021 and it is anticipated to grow up to USD 6.1 billion by 2031, at a CAGR of 7.7% during the forecast period.
X-ray is a type of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that can pass through most objects, including the human body. Among the many applications of X-rays, including veterinary, medical, dental, industrial, and security, medical imaging is the most widely used to create images of tissues and structures inside the body. An X-ray beam is passed through the body for medical imaging, where a portion of the X-rays are either absorbed or scattered by internal structures, and the remaining X-ray pattern is transmitted to a detector. X-ray detectors are devices that measure X-ray flux, spatial distribution, spectrum, and other properties. X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), mammography, and angiography are the most common methods of X-rays in medical imaging. X-ray radiography can be used to detect or diagnose bone fractures; infections such as pneumonia; and calcifications including kidney stones. Moreover, technological advancements in radiography has brought wide-scale adoption of digital radiography in all relevant industries.

UNESCO’s Nine Best Musical Cities
Since January 2020, Jelani Lani Wray has acted as Humble King Records’ music production manager in Brooklyn, New York. Outside of work, Jelani Wray enjoys global travel. UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, recommends nine cities with thriving music scenes. UNESCO did not choose items for their list on size alone. They select entrants based on their musical history and educational institutions emphasizing music. They also account for more recent ways of turning a city’s music scene into an economic draw for tourism and other industries. One example is Hamamatsu, Japan. Hamamatsu has less than one million residents, but its musical heritage runs deep. Multiple world-renowned instrument manufacturers hold their headquarters there. Its music festivals and competitions attract talent from across the world. Hamamatsu houses multiple schools that teach all aspects of the industry, from playing instruments to managing concert halls. Another notable city, according to UNESCO, is Bogotá, Columbia. Bogotá has over 500 music venues and hosts the country’s largest music festival. Festivales Al Parque features artists from diverse genres. City leaders have even harnessed Bogotá’s music scene by creating the Bogotá Music Market, a resource for music agents.

I’m the previous ask: Places to visit that pertain to Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, or Ieyasu? and Kenshin?
Conveniently, the Aichi prefecture has tour guides for Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu.
Site 1
Site 2
Also there’s Hamamatsu Castle, and a statue of Ieyasu in Hamamatsu. While Edo Castle in Tokyo is now the emperor’s residence, parts of it can still be visited.
For Nobunaga, you can visit Gifu Castle, and also the local history Museum has a lot of Nobunaga info. Gifu people seem to considers themselves “Nobunaga’s town”, I think even moreso than Azuchi. And of course, Azuchi itself.
For Hideyoshi, there’s Osaka Castle in Osaka, and Toyokuni Shrine in Kyoto.
Nagoya Castle is mainly a Tokugawa site, but the area includes a landmark of “the Oda clan’s Nagoya castle”. It’s only a big rock, and nothing particularly exciting. There’s also a samurai performer troupe who is there every day. The group includes Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Toshiie, Keiji, Kiyomasa, and a handful of foot soldiers. They come in shifts of twos, though, so depending on what day you come, it’s a different lord.
Kiyosu Castle is also pretty close to Nagoya. In June, the Nagoya troupe from above annually collaborates with the Kiyosu team to do an Okehazama Battle reenactment.
For Kenshin, there’s the Kasugayama site and the Uesugi Shrine in Yamagata that I mentioned in the previous ask. Here’s a sightseeing tour package that you can take a look at. Another tourism highlights.
There’s also the annual Kawanakajima reenactment. If you come there, you might be allowed to participate as a foot soldier in the event. It’s open to tourists too, you don’t have to be Japanese to join.

Another tourism collab/campaign for Ikesen!! Last time was Gifu (Nobu’s place), this time it’s Hamamatsu (Ieyasu’s place, aye!)
Just like the previous Gifu campaign, you can get stories if you scan the “hotspots” at the hotels and inns participating in the campaign, and you can get avatars if you scan the hotspots at certain tourism spots in Hamamatsu.
There are also new special pins and keychain merchandize available, totally different from the Gifu campaign version.
The details can be viewed here:

INTERVIEW_05
Dinh Thi Hong Nhung
Countries & Regions / Vietnam
1. JOB DESCRIPTION
“I try to utilize my skills and play the role of a bridge between people in my translation and interpretation work" I work as an interpreter and translator for a global transport equipment manufacturer such as motorbikes and boats. In my current department, nearly 30 Vietnamese nationals manufacture and assemble engines and other components. Teamwork is an integral part of creating a good product. Therefore, I strive to communicate everyone’s culture, customs, thoughts, etc., accurately, so that we can understand each other more deeply and work together comfortably. Stabilizing the retention rate of the Vietnamese people is my essential mission. I am proud of my current job, which is to "facilitate smooth communication between people," including small daily interactions. The atmosphere in the department is homelike and full of helpful and empathetic people. No matter how busy they may be, they greet or consult me when I have problems. They listen to my suggestions and opinions and entrust me with various tasks. I believe this is why I can utilize my potential and skills. I strive daily as I want to study hard at this company that I love dearly, use the knowledge I have gained to be of use to the Japanese and Vietnamese people, and contribute to the company.
2. REASON FOR RELOCATING TO SHIZUOKA PREFECTURE
“It's been 10 years since I fell in love with this city of flowers and music, Hamamatsu. I want to continue living here with my dear friends and countrymen”
I came to Japan as a government-sponsored international student. Although initially, I had hoped to work in the tourism and service industry, I decided to work for a company that had something to do with Vietnam and changed direction to the manufacturing industry. This is how I came to know about Shizuoka Prefecture. When I got off the train at Hamamatsu Station for a job interview, the first thing I thought was, “This is such a cute town with lots of flowers.” Some people were also playing music at the train station. I remember swaying my body to the rhythm since I love music. That's why I didn’t hesitate to move here when I got the job offer. Although I was incredibly nervous and anxious when I started, I soon found that the company's recruiter, senior staff, supervisors, and the president were all kind and warm. Because of this, I could get used to the new environment quickly. Even the people I thought were cold at first really cared for me and took the time and effort to bring food or medicine when I was sick. I now have many dear friends. The Vietnamese community is very active these days. During the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet), they get together to make banh chung, while some men make teams to play soccer and socialize. There are too many activities to write about here, so please look at the Vietnamese Association on Shizuoka Prefecture's Facebook page.
3. ATTRACTIVE QUALITIES OF LIVING IN SHIZUOKA
I think “just right” is the charm of Shizuoka!
At first, I thought that Shizuoka was inconvenient and had nothing but fields. But once I got used to it, I realized that it was full of attractive qualities. The appeal of Shizuoka is different for everyone. For me, Shizuoka’s appeal is that it’s "just right." Shizuoka is an excellent place to live because it’s neither too hot nor too cold, and it never snows. Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagano, and Yamanashi are accessible by Shinkansen and the Tomei Expressway, making it easy to get anywhere without much hassle. I often have day trips to have lunch in Tokyo or Nagoya with my friends there without advance planning. When I want to take my time to relax, I like to go to the Kanzanji Onsen and the Shuzenji Onsen. My family and I have been there many times together. For me, Shizuoka is just the proper distance away. Like a treasure box, I can experience a different joy each time I open it. There are many ways to have fun, and I hope you will find a style that suits you.
4. MESSAGE
What I want to share with people who want to live here There is a life and a place in Shizuoka that suits your taste
Large cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka may be convenient and easy to live in. That is undeniable, but I am sure some of you have noticed that our ordinary lives have also changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We live in an age where we can work remotely and be connected anywhere in the world. The trend to return to nature has been on the rise recently, and I believe that Shizuoka, with its rich natural environment, will allow you to see a variety of lifestyles.
Please try to imagine what kind of life you would like to have in your mind. And if you keep that image in mind and look for a place that suits your taste, I am sure you will find it. In Vietnam, we have a saying, “stable place to live, fun work.” It means that when you have a stable place to live, your job will also be stable and will allow you to enjoy it. Just as many people helped me when I first came to Shizuoka, we will support you in the future. I look forward to seeing you soon!
*Please note that the mask was temporarily removed for the photo shoot.
