The Col de l'Iseran, with an altitude of 2764 m, is the highest mountain pass in the Alps that can be crossed - the Col de la Bonette is 2715 m high, and the 2802 m can only be reached through the additional loop, which is not a pass. The Col de l'Iseran is on the route of the Route des Grandes Alpes, famous among cyclists and motorcyclists alike. The Route des Grandes Alpes is one of the famous French routes through the Alps to the Mediterranean. It runs from Thonon-les-Bains on Lake Geneva to Menton on the Côte d'Azur and crosses 16 Alpine passes, including the aforementioned Col de l'Iseran, the highest road pass in the Alps at 2764 meters. 🏍 🏍 🏍 Der Col de l’Iseran ist mit einer Höhe von 2764 m der höchste überfahrbare Gebirgspass der Alpen – der Col de la Bonette ist 2715 m hoch, die 2802 m erreicht man nur durch die Zusatzschleife, die jedoch kein Pass ist. OkeeFest Founders Resign After Fest's First Year

The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival founders to everyone’s shocked have decided to resign. The reason behind such resignation was “philosophical differences” their tenure ending Oct.18. The festival itself was received with open arms and had a variety of popular artist as headliners. Artists like Mumford and sons, Skrillex, and Kendrick Lamar open up the festival which first launched in 2016 as Florida’s biggest ever camping festival. It hosted over 80 artists, bands and DJs on five diverse stages. The festival’s success rises due to the diversity it provides to its party goers. It was successful in melding jam and dance cultures which lead to an upbeat audience.

Although they are resigning the two founders of the Okeechobee festival Steve Sybesma and Paul Peck still plan to resurface and produce more festivals or live events. Sybesma apologized for the leave but wish the remaining organizers success with their future endeavors. They are very happy with the accomplishments they achieved but surely feel like its time for them to move on to other projects. Sybesma started as an independent concert promoter with then partner Dave Lucas in indianaplos. They were one of the leading promoters in the Midwest and founded Deer Creak Music center and Tourdesign.  After selling their companies to SFX Entertainment Sybesma moved to China but eventually over saw the creation of Okeefest.

                 Overall it seems that these to founders were pleased with the success of their festival. Okeefest managed success just its first time launching attracting a diverse crowd that consumed all the unique performances.  Citing “philosophical differences” was probably the best move to make for the sake of the festival. If both founders couldn’t continue to work with one another then moving on to another project separately or together is probably best. Both founders approached their departure diplomatically and are preventing any petty issues to affect the festival. Okeefest will continue to have success with or without them but owes its achievements to the foundation and direction both founders gave. Its clear that the founders had different ideas and sought to leave the festival to invest into new projects and ideals. As projects grow the original concept and ideas change along with the team. Peck and Sybesma resigning is a just another chapter for the festival.

The founders will continue to be open towards new ideas for festivals, live events and new initiatives. It was a surprising move to leave the okeefest but it’s clearly for the best. The Okeechobee Music & Arts festival has achieved success with is massive headliners, diverse acts and electric audiences. Its founders did great work creating a great vibe for both performers and party goers. Being the first camping festival in Florida also makes it a unique festival to attend. Philosophical differences aside these two were obviously a good enough team to create a festival with such diverse qualities. Bringing both dance and jam cultures together shows that they have plenty of more successful ideas waiting to come out.
