The whole earth, which is visible in the photos, was under water in the spring. That group of trees ahead is a former island that couldn't be approached. During the hot summer, the river became shallow. It amazes me how much they can dry up under the sun, but nature always strives for balance. The water has gone, but in its place has grown young grass– food and a home for animals🌱🍃

I am a local tour guide, and once one of my tourists started mansplaining one of my specialty areas to me in front of the whole group. Even after I explained why he was incorrect, he just kept going, so to put a stop to it, I smiled politely and said, "Ok, thank you for the valuable contribution." I noticed that suddenly all the women in the group had the biggest shit-eating grin on their faces. It felt like I'd just won an invisible boxing match.

After the tour, the man came up to me to apologize, saying, "I wasn't trying to be rude," and then he kept explaining why he was right.

Oh, buddy, but you were rude. So maybe work on your soft skills.
