On the 17th of May, 1988, Run-DMC unleashed Tougher Than Leather, their fourth (and probably best) album.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the release of Souvlaki, dream pop/shoegazing intersection band Slowdive's second and most famous album.

On the 17th of May, 2005, American trumpeter Jon Hassell released Maarifa Street, his thirteenth album.

On the very same day of the very same year, but in another place entirely, Nü-metal act System of a Down dropped their fourth album, Mezmerize.

well it took a bit longer than anticipated but i finally finished my first attempt at binding my own graphic novels! it definitely didnt turn out perfect, some minor nitpicky details make it obvious that this was my first attempt at the process, but overall im very pleased with how it came out! i chose to bind the story Return to Angel Island because it seems to set up plenty of important details for Ian Flynn's run, not to mention that I had never gotten around to this story before, which is truly a shame since it introduces one of my favorite characters in the Archie comics, Dr. Finitevus. Hopefully my next project will have an improved process, I plan to bind issues 195-198 so that I can read thru issues 160-200 all in one go!
