i rewatched fellow travelers ep 7 and wrote a parragraph of totp for the first time since march, and i'm surprised at how much i like it. it's under the cut if you want to read it, and it has me feeling hopeful of being able to write the ending i want it to have. i can do it i really can you guys. okie dokie that was me muah!!
Kimberly tries to picture it then, the both of them looking through tickets and calendars, trying to figure out a timeline of the last time they were there for each other without knowing so. Joining pieces, making the edges of broken glass match, trying to find out where her father ends and Tim’s Hawk starts. Where does the man’s love blend? How does it come together? All the lines, all the cords built and kept in spite of time and the universe’s ruthlessness, all her father’s love that she never quite managed to grasp that nevertheless led her to be here, now, sitting in the bed of a man willing to open his heart for her completely, if nothing else then to show her that loving is a thing that can be lived through, can be lived with. That love, or even more, acceptance of the things one loves, can complete you, can make every bridge you burned and every piece of yourself you broke shine in the light, if only for a moment.

Tagged by @alabamyright and @pineapplefulfillseveryneed thank you kindly ^_^
Last song: Aztec Camera - Somewhere in my Heart. Random but yeah.
Favorite colour: Blue. Specifically that lapis/cobalt blue.
Currently watching: Just finished Stath Lets Flats (UK, Channel 4)
Spicy/savoury/sweet: Spicy. I don't do sweet.
Relationship status: Depressingly single. Still.
Current obsession: Really into the Horrible Histories / Yonderland / BBC Ghosts gang - aka the Six Idiots aka Them There. [Larry is my fave.]
(I'm going to add some things to make this tag game more tailored to the Sparks community, as I'll be tagging Sparks people ^_^ Reply to it any way that feels natural to you, as I am well aware of how hard it may be to answer things.)
What made you a Sparks fan: FFS 2015. Was a Franz Ferdinand fan and was puzzled as to wtf the collaboration would sound like. I played the first song - Johnny Delusional - and knew I had to get some Sparks into my life. I mean, I knew Sparks, but hadn't been aware of them since 1979... and my mom had fancied Russell back in the day so me and my sister would laugh about them and deface their pictures in the teen magazines... so when I got into Ron, my sister did remind me and laugh.
Sparks era(s) closest to your heart: Well - being of a certain age and watching TOTP back in 1974 - 70s Sparks will always have a place. BUT, I really love now - their latest stuff is always surprising and yeah, astoundingly good. Easier to say which era I am not into - and that is the 80s because I hate the 80s in general (I was there and it was shit).
Favourite music video: When I'm With You. Despite the 80s being my least fave musically, (and hating the 80s in general) Ron is so handsome... All their videos are good though - I mean the ones they actually appear in.
Dream show(s) if you had a time machine (max. 3 to keep it interesting): Fairfield Halls 1975 because chaos.
Not tagging because I am late to this and everyone is tagged. However, if you fancy it and have not been tagged go for it and say I tagged you - because I love to read this stuff.

getting to know you
Rules: Tag 10 people you want to get to know better. Thank you for the tag, @writcraft! ❤️
Relationship status: Single as hell! I opened up (and quickly closed again) Hinge the other day for the first time in about 6 months. Clearly I'm feeling super motivated to Get Back Out There (life is hard as a smallish-town greyace lesbian).
Favourite colour: All shades of green but I've a particular love for a really soft, sage green.
Song stuck in my head: Ever since the Wham! documentary dropped I haven't stopped singing Freedom. What a banger. Wham! are very Pages of You Drarry, I think. I can definitely see them both getting into Wham! a couple of years into their relationship when the band make it onto TOTP.
Last song I listened to: fountain - iamamiwhoami
Three favourite foods: Chicken gyros, anything with blue cheese, Italian deli meats (any, I'm not fussy)
Last thing I googled: Taylor Swift Murrayfield Map 😅
Dream Trip: I did a dream trip to Nashville earlier this year, so now I've got my sights set on Salem for 2024.
No pressure tagging @saintlupin @schmem14 @stavromulabetaaa @getawayfox @citrusses @thehoneybeet !

hi! i see you're using a lot of tags on your aemond/sansa posts but could you use the #aemond x sansa tag specifically so it's easy to blacklist please? your posts are coming up often in the sansa stark tag and i'd personally rather skip them. thanks in advance :)
Ciao nonny!,
sorry if I have been a nuisance, even if I reply only now (in delay, my bad) you'll see I've been more mindful of my tags; stopped using the sansa stark tag continuously (tho, tbh since it is about Sansa Stark content I feel like it is a bit wrong); and I've used the word sansa only in tags with Aemond so that it doesn't get too difficult for you to blacklist it if you don't wanna see it!
Maybe I'm not good at getting how tags work but if I put the Sansa Stark tag and in the same post put the aemondxsansa tag if you blacklist the aemondxsansa shouldn't my post not come up at all?, is there not an option to make it so if it's not that way already? (you know like on ao3 when you put the tag you want to see and put TOTP to filter stories which feature others ships as well?)
Still I've tried to adjust the tags so people who don't wanna see my content don't see it, tell me if it still comes up (as I've said I'm not overly expert on the tags).
And I ask the rest of the firesteel fandom (if they aren't already doing it) to do the same if they can, so that it'd be easier for anyone to enjoy what we like!
Thank you for telling me nonny and I hope I've resolved the problem!
As always sending my love ~G.

Welcome to TOTP, a blog focusing on 80s decade TS4 Sims and CC recs with the specific aesthetic of new wave and adjacent music. I will often create Sims of real people/celebrities on here, so if that's not your thing, I get it. You are still welcome to download them and use them as a basis for some knock-off 80s musician Sims (or completely different Sims entirely).
All CC I use on my Sims will be linked (if still up) and if I can tag the creators on here, I'll do that as well. I only use Maxis match with maybe some Maxis mix in my games so that's what you'll see on here. I don't currently make my own CC, though I used to, but if there's anything I end up needing I might delve into it again and then I'll include it.
WCIF-friendly because I go CC shopping all the time and I have way too much. I also have a lot of older/lost items that I can't really find anywhere else now but not all of it still works well.
I will also be taking requests for Sims of new wave (and adjacent) musicians. If you have a specific look or era you want, be sure to let me know that as well. Thank you!

Resources That'll Make You Better at Best Twilio Freelancer Developer
If you are looking to be the best Twilio Freelancer Developer, there are many resources that can help you make the most out of your work. There are many different tools that you can use, from Authy API and Dialpad to Push Notification and Elastic SIP Trunking. It's important to understand all of these options to make sure you're using the best ones for your projects.
Dialpad
Dialpad is free software that enables you to perform admin tasks on any computer. It has no hardware requirements and you can access the dashboard anywhere you go. Dialpad has 24-hour support and a detailed Help Center that can answer your questions. It also offers a phone support system for $20 per month.
Dialpad's AI automation allows you to improve your calls. It will highlight specific action items and coach you on how to make your calls better. Its powerful features are trusted by over 70,000 businesses. You can sign up for a free 14-day trial to try it out and see how it will improve your business.
Authy API
While Authy API doesn't cost anything, the price tag for two-factor authentications is very high. For a small business, that can quickly add up. In comparison, Verify 2FA costs nine cents per authentication - and that's a lot of money if your business is growing.
Authy is a two-factor authentication service that was recently acquired by Twilio. Authy provides an API for developers to make their services more secure. As a result, Twilio is now better equipped to support two-factor authentication.
Developers who focus on compliance and security should choose Twilio as their preferred platform. The company's mission statement highlights developer centricity, and its CEO, Jared Rosenberg, is a developer himself. The company aims to modernize communication by virtualizing telecommunications infrastructure and making it available as a flexible web API. This makes it easier for developers to build programmatic communication features. Twilio's web API enables businesses to send and receive text messages and phone calls without the need for a network operator. This makes it easier for software developers to automate marketing campaigns, and improve overall company efficiency.
In addition to the quality of its services, Twilio also offers a variety of price plans. For example, the service is free for small businesses and offers volume discounts to enterprises. Developers using Twilio should have a proven history of developing distributed systems and be familiar with various web stacks and frameworks. Additionally, they should have experience maintaining existing API frameworks.
Authy API vs Authy API
Authy is a popular two-factor authentication service that was recently acquired by Twilio, a web application development platform. Authy provides authentication codes via voice or SMS. Authy's push notifications make the process more convenient than typing in 6-digit passcodes. However, Authy has some drawbacks. Among them, it requires users to switch between devices for each authentication, which is not ideal. It also requires the users to download the Twilio Authy app.
Twilio also provides an API for developers. Its cloud-based API is available for free, and Twilio boasts that its two-factor API is used by more than 6,000 websites. In addition to this, the platform is used by 500,000 Twilio developers. After the acquisition, Twilio plans to continue providing its services to developers.
Authy API offers more advanced features and supports two-factor authentication. The Twilio Authy API also supports passwordless login using TOTP generated in the free Authy app. In addition, it is PSD2 compliant and supports a variety of formats.
Both providers have their advantages and disadvantages. Authy is the cheaper option, but its costs can quickly mount up if you have a large company. Authy is free for end users, but businesses will pay a premium for 2FA authentications.
Push Notification
If you're searching for the best Twilio Freelancer Developer to work on your project, there are a few things that you should keep in mind. The first thing you should do is make sure that the developer you choose has experience with the software you're working on. This will ensure that your project is completed successfully, which can lead to higher user satisfaction and increased revenue.
A good push notification developer should be familiar with various application development platforms. They should be able to integrate push notifications with different applications and configure the text, frequency, and sounds for different notifications. Additionally, they should have experience designing appropriate graphics. In addition to this, the developer should have experience in designing marketing campaigns, and be able to troubleshoot any applications they work on.
One of the biggest benefits of Twilio is that it allows multiple types of communication. It supports voice, SMS, email, video, and WhatsApp. It has many uses for a company, and the community is very active. With its powerful API, developers can add a variety of different forms of communication to their software applications.
Pushwoosh offers a free plan with up to 500 notifications, and a paid plan will cost $14 per month. It's easy to use and provides real-time reporting and intelligent delivery. It's best for developers because it supports React Native, Android, Flutter, Unity, and cross-platform SDKs.
Ooma vs Nextiva
You're looking for a good VoIP phone provider. Compare Ooma vs Nextiva and find out which plan is best for your business. Both offer powerful features and 24/7 customer support. Ooma offers call automation through a virtual receptionist, while Nextiva has more advanced features like voicemail audio to email.
Nextiva is not the cheapest VoIP service provider, but their features are good and they have affordable plans to suit all sizes of businesses. If you have a small team, you may want to choose Nextiva. But if you need a higher-quality plan for your business, you should consider Ooma.
Nextiva has a better user experience. Its enterprise plan includes unlimited SMS and voice analytics, and you can even record calls. Ooma Office offers features such as call queuing, call recording, and video conferencing. It has a high user satisfaction rating (4.4) among users. It is easy to use and offers a number of features, which can be helpful for your business.
Ooma offers a number of customer support options, including live chat, online knowledge center, and phone support. The company is available Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., and provides phone support around the clock.

I was not tagged either but my brain is sparking out so bad I need to do this
Last song-
I married a Martian by sparks‼️
Favorite color-
Red. Any kind of red I think
Currently watching- still on a Vincent price binge. Other than that I’m pretty into quantum leap!
Spicy/savory/sweet-
Depends on the day. Savory, More often than not though
Relationship status-
Single! Not sure if happily or not, though!
Current obsession-
SPARRRKKKS……..
What made you a sparks fan-
Ive been a causal fan since probably may of last year but I revisited kimono my house in January! Got me into the album.
Sparks era(s) closest to your heart-
Probably either 1979-1983 or around 1972-1975
Favorite music video-
It’s tied between I predict and tryouts for the human race. The 1997 no. 1 song in heaven is a close second though.
Dream show(s) if you had a Time Machine (max. 3)-
Id be curious to see the show they did in Huston where Russ dropped a hammer on his head. Id also really love to see any performance with Jane Wiedlin and their infamous TOTP performance
I don’t have anybody to tag! I made this blog earlier, so if you see this feel free to reblog!
Tagged by @parts-of-me-unravelling, thank you kindly ^_^
Last song: Sparks - You Were Meant For Me (last non-Sparks song: exist†trace - 夢にキスを)
Favorite colour: Black
Currently watching: You've somehow caught me at a rare moment where I'm not watching anything. I most recently re-watched Sense8, which I love but I tend to prefer things that have a little less violence in it.
Spicy/savoury/sweet: At the moment sweet. Candy and fruit - hell yeah :) (I don't cope with spicy at all, so that's never the answer.)
Relationship status: a happy singular entity of many years, though more recently I'm questioning if I've changed my mind and want this to change at some point.
Current obsession: Sparks forever and always <3 (More specifically I'm currently fixating on getting my Sparks files in order, which has been consistently taking up pretty much all my time. Once that's done I'll probably go back to trying to draw as much as possible and grow my skills as I feel a little stuck there.) My other obsessions (most notably Good Omens and The Owl House) are currently in hybernation but never far away :)
(I'm going to add some things to make this tag game more tailored to the Sparks community, as I'll be tagging Sparks people ^_^ Reply to it any way that feels natural to you, as I am well aware of how hard it may be to answer things.)
What made you a Sparks fan: Good Morning/Exotic Creatures Of The Deep. Ron's existence. Seeing them live. Russell's entire everything.
Sparks era(s) closest to your heart: Two Hands One Mouth (the start of my journey but also those shows were truly something else) and Latte (what a next level album and tour!). (I'm being rigorous here and only picking two things.)
Favourite music video: My Baby's Taking Me Home
Dream show(s) if you had a time machine (max. 3 to keep it interesting): Balls, 21x21 performance of Indiscreet, Exotic Creatures Of The Deep. (For people who have to answer this in the future, yes I too am tortured by my own limit of 3. There's shows I was at and wish I could go see again but I guess that's what youtube is for.)
I'm going to try my best to tag as many people as possible, no pressure though! (Sorry if you've been tagged before or if I managed to forget to include you - consider yourself tagged by me if you want to be. Also if you've already done this before but want to answer the added questions, go for it! I'd love to see your answers!)

As another massive tifa and cloti fan and ffvii in general, I admire your collection of books and merchandise! Do you have any ranking or top recommendations for someone who wants to start collecting? I mainly mean books of all sorts but feel free to reference anything else!
Thank you 💖☺️ I love my books too ❤️
There's a lot of new merch coming out that's on the high price tag side, so if you want to start a collection I think the first thing you should do is decide what you want to collect.
Aside from my OG Tifa and dissidia Cloud I don't have any big play arts Kai dolls and I decided when I started collecting I wouldn't go into the play arts Kai side because those get really expensive and there has to be a limit when you're buying merch or else you just spiral into hoarding and trying to build the biggest collection you can imo.
I'm fussy about fanmade merch too. I only buy good quality ones that I really like. I have a couple of lamps, some pins and a bracelet.
With my official merch, I hunt most things on eBay or cdjapan.co.jp does proxy sometimes and they find it if it's not too old. My theatrhythm statics were really hard to get hold of, but I wanted a set because Nojima has them too 🤣
With the new lines it's best to hunt around and not just go with the first price you see. My Cloud statuette I got a little bit cheaper than retail but I almost forgot to check SE direct and nearly paid more than they were selling it for, so definitely definitely double check before buying. With things that come in sets you should decide if you want the entire set or if you just want a couple of characters. One of my Cloud and Tifa minis has a set of twelve and I also wanted the set that had Balthier and Fran in it, but Fran's one was super expensive at the time and in the end I gave up. I probably would buy all of those eventually but I'm saving my money for remake merch for now. I'm betting they do a grunt Cloud and cowgirl Tifa statuette.
As for the books, the shipping cost on them usually costs at least half what you pay for them, and SE direct is always late. I think the only book I got on time that didn't come from eBay was my world preview book. The older ultis I got off eBay and haggled for when I could.
With those I think it depends what info you wanna learn more about. The AC reunion files is already translated, but the others aren't in English except for the archive books, world preview, material ulti and ulti plus.
The archive books are really nice if you wanna read more about all the games. They're a set of three, although I only have the one for 7,8,9 atm. Most of the books repeat the same info, so unless you're into collecting books (I am 🤣) it's really only the art style ones like the material ulti that have all the concept artwork that are worth buying. They're really pretty ❤️
The AC reunion files, material ulti, world preview book and archives are the prettiest and have info in English you can read. The others need Google lens to read but they have some nice info if you put the effort in.
The novels are harder to get now than when I bought them. I got the kids are alright and otwtas from Amazon for £20. Picturing the past is in the world preview book and it'll be in the translated version of trace of two pasts when it comes out, so it's up to you if you get the JP version as well. ToTP is supposed to be out in November 🤞
I think it comes down to deciding what you wanna see on your shelves and then searching for it. I have things bookmarked for ages and if I lose out on something I wanted I just wait a while and then look again. Patience is really important. I never impulse buy. I always check my budget and never go over it.
I lost out on a few Tifas I wanted, but I got them eventually. My heroines set took ages to get, so did my OG Tifa mini play arts Kai. I hadn't even planned to collect until I saw that and decided I wanted her, then I had to get Cloud. I got Cloud, lost out on Tifa, found another one and two years later I have two display cases full of stuff 🤣
I also don't have the full of from the 10th anni, but I don't want them. So, don't feel like you need all of one set if you don't want them all. It's your collection.
Imo best books are:
Material ulti
Material ulti plus (that's not out in English until Feb 2023 but it's the same as the JP one)
Archive ultimania vol 2
AC reunion files
Best Tifa:
Statics (although they're not out yet either)
Trading arts vol 2
Mini play arts kai
Best Cloud:
10th anniversary
Remake static
Remake mini
One thing to check is the faces on them. Cause of you don't like the face there's no point getting it 🤣
Top left: Tifa trading arts vol2
Top right: mini play arts Kai (these have changeable faces)
Middle: 10th anni.
Bottom left: remake static
Bottom right: remake mini (these are a set of five that shouldn't cost more than £50)
Hope all my rambling helps ☺️
Happy collecting!
