you reread raksura after reading murderbot and you realize that the kethel in the last book is murderbot from an outside POV. like they don't have the same personality obviously, but if the murderbot books were told from the perspective of, say, eletra from the corporation rim, she'd be talking about secunits the way that all the protagonists of the raksura books talk about the fell. which i feel really conflicted about. you write a five-book series (plus two books of short stories) with a biologically evil race and in the later books start deconstructing it and being like "hey maybe our narrators aren't exactly reliable on this point" but by then it's kind of too late imo. idk. she's doing something interesting here but i don't know if it works.

Cozy nights in the attic with Belphegor are unlike anything else. The two of you are wrapped up together, simply enjoying eachothers company. You smile and laugh together, tumbling over eachothers bodies. You kiss his cheek and his nose and his eyes, translating all that's already been said. He holds you close with his hands around your waist, while he smiles and giggles with every kiss.

When its time to go to dinner, the both of you leave hand in hand, still giddy about all that happened. Neither of you dread the interruption. There's comfort in knowing that these moments will keep happening for ever and forever, as long as you're together.

So, you know how there's that ƎNA!Wally AU by @/eechytooru? Well, I was thinking, "what if ƎNA was in Welcome Home?" So, I decided to create it!

My idea is that ƎNA was made to be a kind of adventurous character, made to show kids the fun of adventure. While being created, the studio was running low on yellow material for her skin, so they decided to make her skin two-toned. The decision was also made to have her yellow arm and leg be a lot thinner than the blue ones. This led to an effect that looked like that side had the limbs of old rubber hose cartoons. ƎNA was primarily a hand puppet, although she did have a walk-around puppet. She was also around the same height as Eddie. There were a lot of jokes made about how she should've been like a second artist character due to her looking like a Picasso painting.

Due to her skin being two-toned anyway, they really decided to go down a route where she was split in different ways, too. So, they decided to give her a split personality! Usually, she's very happy-go-lucky and positive, but other times she can be very gloomy and pessimistic. These often led to her sometimes having full-blown meltdowns when things wouldn't go according to plan. These could also have been due to other things like tiny inconveniences, or things taken out of context or taken in the wrong tone.

As of right now I'm not fully planning on making other characters, so if anyone wants to then go ahead! Just make sure to credit me for the AU. I'll also maybe make her other variations as puppets eventually, depends on how my motivation decides to work. Currently working on getting myself together with school being out finally, haha.

A normal opinion: the best writing class to take is a history class.

A slightly less normal(?) opinion: AP Physics 1 was the easiest AP class I ever took. AP Physics C comes pretty close though.

Not sure if I have any hot takes on academics. Quarter system > semester schedule. Yes, you should start applying to jobs the summer before senior year. Humanity classes are more useful than STEM classes because you can always watch youtube videos to learn how to code later. Having an expert (aka professor) tear down your papers is priceless and valuable to improving your critical thinking, research, and communication skills.

I was just going through this for some tag talk but ExpressVPN's parent company is Kape Technologies plc. Kape Technologies also owns the VPNs CyberGhost, ZenMate, and Private Internet Access, so that's 3 more VPNs to avoid.

That company? It changed its name from Crossrider to Kape Technologies to "distance the company from past activities".

Azul's mind was a montage of every moment between himself and Jade (Floyd was also there but that was not important at the moment) since they had come to land. From Land Camp to Night Raven College... He had spent a lot of time with Jade.

Had something changed? For him? Jade? Anyone? Floyd?

...Maybe not Floyd. Unless? Hm, the twins in this light. Men in this light. Men? Men? Oh, dear. Well... it was something to think on. Something to not tell Mother, or Grandmother... or Stepfather...

Ah, they were noticed by a moray. The moray was sprinting toward them, closing in. Closer, closer... Target acquired. Squeeze. It was much gentler than when Azul instructed Floyd with clients.

"Hi, Floyd!" [Name] greeted him.

"Heyy," Floyd offered, "What are you doing with Azul, huh? Is he keeping you to himself?~"

[Name] tilted their head to the side at the question. What did Floyd mean by that? They liked Jade. They thought Floyd knew that but they shrugged it off as a Floyd-ism.

"We were just chatting," they told him.

Azul was almost thankful that there was a distraction from his obvious inner confusion. He had to hand it to Floyd's eccentricities, they came in handy sometimes (not often, but sometimes).

The eelmer picked up the human and slung them over his shoulder with ease. This was why people were scared of Floyd. He has monstrous physical strength.

"Eh?? Floyd, where are we going?" [Name] asked him, holding onto his shoulder to keep from accidentally falling onto the floor.

"We're playing 'Let's Bother Jade'!" Floyd told them, running toward his brother at the same speed he'd run towards [Name] earlier.

Wriothesley usually shuts down any negative comments if he hears them in his vicinity, regardless of whether or not you're with him. He can't stand anybody speaking poorly about you and he'll make it known that such opinions are not tolerated in his presence in the least.

You aren't ever allowed to wallow in self-pity, Wriothesley able to immediately tell when something's been bothering you. If he has even the faintest suspicion that you're bothered by something he somehow manages to figure out exactly what it is and tells you exactly whatever it is that you need to hear.

It certainly helps you feel better some of the time, but when you hear comments about you not being good enough for him you can't help but let it confirm some of your own internal biases. You would never agree outwardly but on the inside that's all you can hear, begrudgingly accepting their comments.

That night is rougher than others and you can barely look at him without getting a sense that he deserves so much better than you. Without realising it tears start falling down your cheeks, wiping them away yourself as you try not to alert him but of course you fail. He holds you tightly in his arms, turning you to face him as he tells you that he doesn't care what others say about you. He knows they're all wrong, that it doesn't matter what they think because he knows it's not true.

If someone has the audacity to say that around him he'll shut them up with a mean glare. They barely get their words out of their mouth when he whips his head around, practically growling at them as he asks them to repeat themselves. They know immediately not to mess with him, shaking their heads and offering stuttering apologies.

I was watching a deep dive into the Tesla Cybertruck by (sigh) a Tesla fanboy reviewer, because honestly there's not much to pick from aside from Tesla fanboy handjobs "reviews" so far.

Tesla does not seem to be in a hurry to get these things into the hands of unbiased reviewers. Wonder why. Such a mystery.

Anyway.

So this Musk fanboy (who carefully states that he is neutral and has driven lots of EVs but owns a Model S but totally not biased nosir) spends a full 20 minutes circling the exterior of the Cybertruck pointing out all the ~exciting~ styling cues but not getting into any of its actual... Cybertruckness. Like show us the interior, dude.

I am almost ready to give up and hit Eject when

WHAT

100% drive-by-wire means if power fails on your Cybertruck, or the computer crashes, or the software freezes... you lose 100% of your steering.

Note that other cars (Mercedes, Lexus) have drive-by-wire systems, but they are also augmented with physical linkages. Which allows the driver to continue steering the car in the event of a power failure, albeit with more physical force required. The same way hydraulic power steering works. You know, to get safely stopped.

But not Cybertruck.

Nope. If power glitches in Cybertruck you'll die gripping a dead steering wheel.

I stopped watching after that.
