Tailhitch after living among the residents of happy tree town for a while has opinions on most of them.

Flippy: getting the easy one out of the way, they’re friends. Tailhitch understands flippys pain and trauma better than just about anyone. Add in both of them being soldiers and they get along pretty well. Flippy appreciates the fact that Tailhitch, as a cybertronian is immune to anything fliqpy can do. When the autobot is around collateral can be minimized. They tend to avoid each other whenever Tailhitch uses his holoform. It reminds flippy of a friend he lost and mistakes he made.

Fliqpy: fliqpy despises Tailhitch for stopping him during his rampages, but most of what Tailhitch feels towards the rampaging monster is pity and sadness. During the few brief conversations the two have had fliqpy has admitted that he respects Tailhitch as a soldier and that it’s a shame that they’re on opposite sides. Tailhitch couldn’t help but admit that fliqpy’s “creativity” was impressive. Beyond that it’s one sided animosity.

Flaky: he/she/they are terrified of Tailhitch. Just like they’re scared of pretty much everything. Tailhitch tries to be friendly with the porcupine and give them advice on anxiety but there’s only so much he can do. Flaky has had a few positive interactions with Tailhitch and has expressed they don’t hate him. But he’s 17 feet tall and a robot. It’ll freak a lot of people out.

Nutty: Tailhitch ain’t a fan, there’s only so much his processors can take you know? He’s loud he’s way too energetic it’s annoying. Just being around the squirrel overstimulates the young autobot.

Splendid: you’d think that both being aliens who want to save people would let them get along right? Wrong. First time they met splendid tackled Tailhitch thinking he was some kind of alien invader and both started swinging. Since then they don’t speak to each other outside of “polite” greetings. (Usually just calling each other names)

Lumpy: Tailhitch does not like the moose. It seems as though he is willfully ignorant of his surroundings unless money is involved. Then he’s just a greedy jerk to everyone.

Handy: Tailhitch has no idea how the beaver does the things he does without actual hands, he’s impressed and is becoming friends with handy via the construction of a catapult.

Giggles: Tailhitch doesn’t have too many opinions on the chipmunk. She’s polite enough, and pleasant enough to be around but interests clashing makes it hard to be friends.

Cuddles: he’s a good guy but he’s always the first one to come to Tailhitch with a terrible idea that he SWEARS will be totally awesome. Outside of that they’re chill with each other.

Lammy: either there’s something wrong with her or something’s going on with that pickle. He has a hard time trusting her.

Toothy: Tailhitch doesn’t really have an opinion on toothy, he seems to be alright but the mech doesn’t hang out with the beaver too much.

Russell: Tailhitch likes Russell, he’s cool. Could just be because Tailhitch is a one piece fan, could be that Russell is just that likable who knows.

The mole: the mole freaks tailhitch out, he never speaks and somehow despite being blind he avoids being caught in the crossfire frequently.

Splendont: Tailhitch’s opinions on the red flying squirrel are much the same as his opinions on the blue flying squirrel. Not good.

Mime: Tailhitch doesn’t really have an opinion on the mime. Hes somehow even quieter than the mole, and Tailhitch isn’t sure if it’s actual mutism or just dedication to the craft. If the mime is just really dedicated to the bit even when in danger, then Tailhitch is impressed because he’s never heard the mime scream once.

Petunia: Tailhitch was a miner for most of his life, he’s a messy guy. Petunia does not appreciate this and frequently tries to make him less messy, it has yet to stick. He finds her somewhat annoying but he humors her attempts.

Sniffles: Tailhitch appreciates the presence of the anteater, they share similar interests and sniffles is even trying to find a way to send Tailhitch home, they keep spare copies of all of the notes and blue prints with Tailhitch whenever sniffles blows himself up and they have to start over. Plus he helps Tailhitch whenever his energon is low and he needs refueling.

Disco bear: he’s weird and kinda annoying but dammit Tailhitch loves music too much and getting funky is too much fun. He can appreciate a guy who lives his life with a bit of groove.

Pop and cub: Tailhitch can tell that pop loves his son very very much but he just wishes he’d pay a bit more attention to the little guy. Watching the kid die is always the most horrifying. Cub always has stars in his eyes whenever Tailhitch is around and Tailhitch does like the kid. Tailhitch occasionally babysits for pop whenever he and disco bear go out together.

Lifty and shifty: Tailhitch has gotten way too fed up with the twins and has punted them before. He’s not a fan of them.

Cro marmot: he honestly scares Tailhitch, the mole may freak him out but cro marmot scares him. How does he do the things he does? It’s weird and creepy, Tailhitch doesn’t like it.

Truffles: Tailhitch honestly forgets truffles exists sometimes. No real opinions on the guy.

it is the middle of war. you are fliqpy. you are wandering around the headspace of your silly green host’s conscious whilst talking. for a while you've had an incomprehensible amount of emotions for him that you cannot put a word to. it's confusing but you decide to ask him because flippy usually knows everything anything. when you're done telling him he goes "oh i totally know what that is ur just feeling the urge to get more friends. have u heard of my little pony." so you do as he tells you and try to make friends. it works to an extent but you're still only feeling confusing things around flippy and nobody else. this will go on for multiple years

on it! always a treat to write fliqpy (i have written him twice, and neither of those times were prompts but the point still stands)

‘Huh. Okay. This is happening,’ Fliqpy thought as he glanced around, trying to figure out where Splendid had gone. 

Flippy had invited Splendid to a festival. Said festival was quite crowded, and when one wasn't holding hands with their companion, it was easier to get separated. Then, a switch was triggered and he stopped to seal with that. Splendid had totally been in the zone talking about something while Flippy listened, so he probably hadn't noticed Flippy wasn't next to him anymore.

Well, if he found him, he'd get to have his own date with him, which was always nice. Plus, Splendid's excitement when he talked about things he was interested in was always cute. And the cherry on top was that Fliqpy always loved to surprise him, just because he found it funny. All in all, he'd been dealt a pretty good hand of cards, so it was time to get looking.

They were headed to get a snack, so wherever the food stands were was probably his best bet. Was there a specific snack though, and which way were the vendors? It was probably in the direction he'd been facing, but he couldn't think of anything specific.

“Damn it,” Fliqpy growled, narrowing his eyes and scanning the area as he marched forward. He could yell for him, but that'd attract way too much attention. Splendid would hear it though. To be perceived and make it easier, or to just walk and continue the challenge? The triumph would be all that much sweeter if he just kept walking, wouldn't it?

Fliqpy didn't have to contemplate long. It wasn't too hard to notice a tall man with cyan hair and squirrel features that just so happened to hide his face behind a big pair of glasses. A wide grin spread across his face as he prepared to charge ahead and surprise him, but then he noticed someone bump into Splendid.

“Watch where you're going, four-eyes!” the perpetrator spat, “Don't just stand around, people are walking!”

Splendid frowned, an apologetic look on his face. “Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you or realize I-”

The stranger's face was red with rage and he snarled. “How do you come to a festival and not realize people are going to be walking? You have glasses, how could you not see me? Are you stupid? Is there something wrong with your brain? Or was it so small that it fell out when I bumped into you? Seriously, people like you should just drop dead - you'd be less of a waste of space that way.”

Fliqpy didn't like that. Instead of charging in to surprise Splendid, he marched to the duo, reaching for the knife that Flippy tended to carry around in case he needed to defend himself.

“I'm sorry. I didn't hear you the first time. Can you repeat that? Can you repeat what you just said to my boyfriend?” He sneered, staring straight into the bastard's eyes. “Or do I have to teach you how to walk around obstacles like you're a little baby? I know a toddler that can do it better than you. Funny, huh? I could check and see if your brain is working too, if you want me too…”

With wide eyes, the perpetrator gulped. “Er… sorry, I… guess I was a little… harsh there… Please don't hurt me…” He stepped back, seeing the glint of the knife's blade, but relaxed as Fliqpy put it away. “I'll… leave you to things, then. Sorry again!”

Fliqpy laughed, watching the coward run with his tail between his legs. “There we go! Teaches him not to mess with my boyfriend!” He then threw an arm around Splendid's shoulders. “So where were we headed?”

With a sigh and shake of his head, though the corners of his lips threatening to curl into a smile, Splendid removed Fliqpy's arm and instead took his hand. “Thank you for the assistance Fliq. I really do appreciate it, but I'm sure there might've been a less… threatening way to do so.”

“Eh, it's who I am. And you love me for it, dont'cha?” Fliqpy grinned. “Now I'm hungry, so let's get the snacks.”

This made Splendid smile fully, a chuckle escaping him. “You're right, I do love you for it. Let's go get my hero a soft pretzel.”

The slightest hint of a pout formed on Fliqpy's face, and he put in the tiniest bit of effort to look cute to beg. “Two. Two soft pretzels, ‘cause I saved you.”

Splendid chuckled, nodding. “Two soft pretzels for my hero it is.”

Hahaha, absolutely my friend, I know the feeling. FYI, I was watching Luigikid, and when the notification for this dropped from the top of my phone screen I grinned and my heart jumped.

So, this dude is legitimately one of the best and worst choices for a boyfriend you could possibly ever make.

He’s kind and considerate, and he respects you so fucking much.

But he also can flip out and kill you in a split second if the town’s curse kicks in.

I imagine he’s the kind of person to bake stuff for you, and he tries to keep it secret, but isn’t too fussed, just disappointed, if you walk in and find out. He’d get really into it too, like, total focus mode.

Fliqpy is more hands-on when it comes to showing affection, he’d just go up to you and lean on you. He does that cus he thinks hugging in public would make him seem soft. He’d probably carve you something, tbh.

They’d both be super protective, and rather possessive too. Flippy can hide it, Fliqpy either can’t or just doesn’t give enough of a shit to hide it. To them, if you love them despite all of their baggage, and all of their problems, you’re theirs now. You’ve got them for life, as long as you still want them.

Bonus points to you for being the only person able to calm Fliqpy down when he’s going on a rampage, and be able to get Flippy back into control like Flaky sometimes can.

These two would fucking die for you. No joke. Trace his scars from his time in the war and he’d melt. Both of them, actually. I kinda headcanon them as sometimes being able to do what Sun and Moon can do, able to see and hear what’s going on when the other’s in control and such.

They’re so whipped. Both of them are a fan of the more simple things in life, and while they have a lot of expensive stuff in their house, I headcanon a lot of that as being heirlooms and things from friends, so if you can enjoy their simpler life style, they’d really appreciate that.

He is friends with flippy! Though flippy enjoys nutty's energy, seeing how such a little thing can be so happy over the most littlest of things. Flippy reaches nutty how to calm down, and nutty helps flippy loosen up a bit. Though, poor nutty has a bad habit of scaring flippy, which causes fliqpy to pop out.

Nutty totally has regeneration powers though, that's what my brain told me to give him! Though dispute how many times nutty has been ripped and torn apart by fliqpy, he never learns his lesson.

It was just a perfectly normal day here in Happy Tree Village, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming around the local park and everyone here in town are enjoying their day like having a lovely picnic or playing a totally normal game of hide and seek with all of their friends and families.

Then there's a lovely female F/c cat named Y/n L/n, who is enjoying her day at the local park by sitting on the park bench while listening to her favorite song, (Insert Favorite Friday Night Funkin' Song Here) on her MP3 Player and eating a F/s and her bottle full of F/d. Although, she may be enjoying herself everyday for some peace and quiet, but everyday is always the same old thing, something bad happens around at Happy Tree Village with everyone getting killed with lots of gruesome ways like Splendid and Splendont both fighting each other to prove, who is the real hero around here or Flippy getting flipped out with his PTSD and starts killing everyone in his sights like he's in another war.

Speaking about Flippy, they both met each other when Y/n moved in here in Happy Tree Village a few weeks ago along with his beloved girlfriend, Flaky, who acts like a protective and overbearing sister to her. The two of them always loved to hang out with Y/n everyday while not letting her leave their side under any circumstances whatsoever like Flippy started dragging Disco Bear to the public restroom when he started flirting with Y/n and killed him by beating him up to a pulp and flushing his whole body down the toilet and Flaky always had to make sure that Y/n is steered clear of any kind of danger that comes into contact with her, especially her own fear of Chickens and flying to keep her "Little Sister" safe and sound.

Then out of the blue, when Y/n is relaxing to the music from her MP3 Player with her eyes closed pulling her into a peaceful slumber until she was interrupted by someone grabbing her and shaking her awake, causing her to wake up to see a completely terrified Cuddles all battered and bruised and was covered into some kind of strange substance on his body that is slowly spreading all over his body.

Not only that, but everything around here is covered in flames and damaged debris and everyone is screaming in pure terror, running away while being chased by a strange, yet familiar looking creature with the same kind of black substance that covered their bodies from head to toe with glowing pink eyes and toothy smile.

Cuddles: Y/n!! Wake Up!! We're in serious trouble right now!!

Y/n: Cuddles! What's wrong? Just calm down for a second and tell me what's wrong!

Cuddles: It's Flaky and Flippy!! They're were just having a normal day like until two strange black colored monsters came in challenged them to a rap battle and they both became monsters like them and now we're getting turned into monsters as well and I'm already starting to feel really evil like Fliqpy right now.

Y/n: What?! That's terrible!! We need to get out of here and find help right now!!

Cuddles: It's too late for me right now, Y/n. My body is nearly corrupted and Flaky and Flippy are now looking for you to join them. Just run away, Y/n. Get out of Happy Tree Village as soon as possible or else you'll get infected as well.

Y/n: No!! I'm not leaving you behind, Cuddles! We can still can find you help to get rid of this so-called corruption! We can't give up right now, we still might have a chance to put an end of whatever disaster is happening right now!

Cuddles: No! It's too late, Y/n. I'm done for. Just get out of here before they find you to become one of them and end up like me!

Y/n: No! I will not let that happen! I need to get you out of here!

Y/n then grabbed Cuddles wrist to see I she can get him to a nearby hospital until she was stopped at her tracks when she was grabbed from behind and was put in a headlock by Cuddles as his corrupted transformation is finally complete with his whole entire is complete black with his eyes glowing in a pink color along with his teeth in a evil looking smile that is the same color as his glowing pink eyes that look really sharp that can chomp your head clean off from your shoulders. She can already feel the corruption slowly starting to spread on her body and Cuddles sniffing on her head, inhaling her perfume that Petunia got for her on her birthday.

Corrupted Cuddles: You have a lovely scent on you, Y/n. It's no wonder why Flippy and Flaky really cared for and loved you a whole lot.

Y/n already felt terrified to hear Cuddles' voice that sounded more deep and raspy like an evil monster he is right now.

Then suddenly, she was shocked to see both the corrupted versions of both Flippy and Flaky walking up to her with their creepy and sadistic looking smiles on their corrupted faces. She tried her best to escape Corrupted Cuddles' grasp, but Cuddles seemed to be lot more stronger than before that is probably because of the corruption he was infected with holding her down long enough for his commanding officers to arrive to receive their beloved partner.

Corrupted Cuddles: Hey guys, I kept Y/n from escaping for her to join us.

Corrupted Flippy/Fliqpy: Excellent. Great work, Private Cuddles. We'll take it for here. Go find someone else to corrupt to recruit more members in our army to help spread the corruption in honor of our great leader.

Corrupted Cuddles: *Salutes* Yes, Sir!

Then Corrupted Cuddles handed Y/n over to Corrupted Flaky as she held her down on top of her, hugging her tightly while nuzzling on her cheek, making the corruption spread faster and making Y/n even more terrified. Then Corrupted Cuddles ran off to find more unaffected people to spread the corruption with.

Corrupted Flaky: Oh, Y/ n. I'm so glad that you're all safe and sound with us. We were both starting to get worried about you.

Corrupted Fliqpy: Yes, that's right, Y/n. It's not right to run away from your lovers.

Y/n: Why guys. Why are you two letting this kind of catastrophe happen to all of us?

Corrupted Fliqpy: Because, my little princess~ we are all being gifted with such amazing power from our generous friend, Corrupted BF and beloved girlfriend and we want to do the same to you too.

Corrupted Flaky: Yes. That is true, Y/ n. We want you to be one of us. I actually never felt more brave and powerful than never before. Once we finish your transformation of the corruption, we are all gonna have so much fun together as a couple. We can enjoy a movie together, go swimming at the community pool and we can all go out for ice cream at the beach and...

As Corrupted Flaky continues to talk more about her and Corrupted Flippy/Fliqpy spending time together with Y/n, Y/n can already feel the corruption nearly covering her entire body and is starting to feel drowsy as her eyes are feeling really happy and the only thing in her mind is going to sleep.

Corrupted Flippy: Hey, sweetie~ I know you're excited to have some fun with our beloved, but I think she is starting to fall asleep.

Corrupted Flaky: Oh, I see. Well that's fine by me. I think we should let her rest after all. It was a long day today anyway and I actually feel really comfortable snuggling up against Y/n. She's too soft for me to get off! It's just to good for me.

Corrupted Flippy: Mind if I join in, Flaky~ We can rest up at my place. After all, she belongs to us now and forever~

Corrupted Flaky: Ok then. Would you care to carry us back home then, honey bear~ I just leave this good feeling between me and my sweetheart, Y/n~.

Corrupted Flippy/Fliqpy: Sure thing, Flaky-dearie~ We have plenty of time to be with her for a long, long time.

With that, Corrupted Fliqpy had no trouble picking up both Corrupted Y/n and Corrupted Flaky back over to his house to continuing on with snuggling up with their lover, Y/ n and they will make sure that they will make sure that she will never ever leave their sights ever again as long as the corruption they were given by Corrupted BF and Corrupted GF while they were both traveling from universe to universe to spread the corruption to everyone in the entire universe.

Like, Double Trouble, more like Double "Corrupted" Trouble, if you ask me.
