Chapter 6 - The Museum Heist (Apocalypse Arc - Part 2)

Location: The Creation City National History Museum

No POV

As our hero makes his way into the museum without getting detected like he's a master thief as he is aware of what he is about to expect once he stepped into the museum. He needs to avoid getting caught such as lasers, spotlight, tripwires, security cameras and flashlight guards patrolling the museum.

But these traps are just too easy for Y/n (Kenneth) to handle as we see him going through the museum without triggering the alarms and getting spotted by the flashlight guards.

But then, Y/n (Kenneth) soon came across gated up pathway that leads to the gift shop, but there is a terminal nearby as Y/n (Kenneth) immediately began hacking into the system. Starting with the spotlights.

Y/n (Kenneth): The Spotlights are offline.

Then next is the laser defense system.

Y/n (Kenneth): There goes the laser security system. Now all there's left is the security gate.

It took some time, but he finally managed to get the security gate opened up, allowing Y/n (Kenneth) to gain access to the gift shop, which is through the medieval section.

Y/n (Kenneth): Presto. All clear. Just need to do something really quick before I go. (Clears throat and activates the intercom) (Deep Voice) Um, attention all guards. This is the network administrator. We are currently installing a new update on the security mainframe. So do not be alarmed if the system will remain offline for a moment. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

After Y/n (Kenneth) is done with that, he heads on over to the gift shop, but he soon stops at the sight of a strange artifact that is put on display as Y/n walked over to the glass case to see what it is it that caught his attention.

Y/n (Kenneth): What the heck is this?

It is an ancient bracelet that was made back during the Dark Ages as it was used as a weapon for the Knights of the Round Table to fend against their enemies during the Medival Era. However, the bracelet is only used by the person who bears a special birthmark in order to use the special bracelet.

Then Y/n (Kenneth) notices the symbol in the middle of the bracelet that looks exactly like his birthmark on his right hand. 

That is actually the Gem of Ancient Power that powers up the Ancient Bracelet to those who bears the same birthmark, which means that the bracelet belonged to his ancestors as the bracelet soon began to shake a bit before it flew out of the glass case and attached itself onto Y/n (Kenneth)'s left wrist like attaching a wristwatch.

Y/n (Kenneth): What the hell?! 

Y/n (Kenneth) then tried to pull the bracelet off of him, but it won't even budge.

Y/n (Kenneth): Great. Now I got an ancient artifact stuck on my wrist. What am I supposed to do with it? It doesn't even tell time. Wish it could become a useful tool or weapon like an axe.

Then suddenly, the bracelet suddenly transformed into a battle axe, which greatly surprised Y/n (Kenneth) to see how the ancient bracelet works and decides to keep it as his special tool to use against the Dark Creatures.

Y/n (Kenneth): I know this bracelet is museum property, but this belonged to my ancestors, so I guess I'll be using this to face against my enemies. I'll deal with the curator of this museum about the bracelet. Still, I wonder what theses slots are for anyway.

With the new special tool in Y/n (Kenneth's) inventory, Y/n continued on his journey to get to the gift shop and to his surprise, there are no guards in the area, despite of him disabling the museum's security system. But he'll worry about that later as he goes in to find the candy and toys in the gift shop. Only to find the place completely empty and not a single piece of candy or a toy is in sight.

It looks like our hero was duped into coming here as he felt like he just ran into a trap.

Y/n (Kenneth): This can't be right. The candy and toys should be in here. I feel like I've been duped. Oh well, it's time to pull the plug on this operation right now.

Then suddenly, as Y/n (Kenneth) was about to leave the gift shop, all of the doors and windows were blocked off by metal doors before the room is soon filled with red gas as Y/n (Kenneth) soon passed out after breathing in the familiar scent of lavender sleeping gas before Y/n (Kenneth) soon saw 8 silhouettes of the Dark Creatures approaching him through the shadows, knowing that their plan to capture Y/n (Kenneth) was a complete success before Y/n soon blacked out.

Sleep Demon: (Chuckles Darkly) Well. Well. Well. Looks like our little angel flew right into our trap.

Eclipse Hound: Yes. Now we can take him back to the factory to make him one of us. And to make sure that he will never fly away from us again. We're gonna clip off his precious wings and he'll never fly away from us again.

Sleep Demon: Excellent plan, Eclipse Hound. (To Y/n (Kenneth)) I'm sorry that we had to do this to you, Angel, but we had no other choice. Now that we have captured our precious angel, we can now add another Dark Creature to our ranks. (To Dr. Damage) Dr. Damage. Prepare the van to take him to the factory. It is time for angel to become one of us.

Dr. Damage. Right away, sir.

So then, the Dark Creatures took Y/n (Kenneth) out of the museum and put him in the armored van to take him to the factory to become a Smiling Critter like them, unaware that another group is suddenly watching Y/n (Kenneth) being taken away by the Dark Creatures and it's now their job to go rescue him before it's too late.

???: Target Acquired.
