a quastion about your lamb!!! how does Chirin interact with their followers? are they the type to sit down n play a good ol game of knucklebones with them/chitchat/constantly give gifts or just sorta exists among them (besides giving sermons/rituals)?

WELL!!! to be honest, Chirin's relationship with their followers evolves over time!! It fluctuates too, there's a few factors involved in how much they interact with them or how they interact with them at all--

Early on as a vessel Chirin interacted a lot with their followers, since there were so few of them at first. They had time and energy to get to know them all indiviually, and they especially grew attached to their first follower Nana (believe it or not, when i started a file in my game to play "as" Chirin their first follower DID come as Nana and i stuck with it).

Even though they had less time to spend with each follower individually as Roseveil (name of their cult) grew in number, they still made time where they could, especially for milestones. Another follower that was close with them for some time was Doll, she was part of the first generation of followers to be born in Roseveil and was Chirin's first ever disciple. She followed them around until the day she died. Hasn't been anyone as loyal since.

As Roseveil got bigger they had even less time for keeping up with everyone individually so they settled for doing rounds to check in on things which allowed them at least to keep up with some of them, particularly their disciples.

And, ykno, other important followers that have vital roles to helping things run smoothly on a day to day basis like the head med bay attendant/nurse. There's quite a few followers that still see and talk with Chirin on a day to day basis by the time they're an infant god.

Also other followers in more vulnerable stages of life get to see them more often. Newborns are always held by them the day they're born and elders are free to come and sit with them or ask for something from them personally rather than going through someone else first.

So, it really does depend as time goes on, and what role a certain follower has, and how they personally interact with them as well, but Chirin always does try their best to be around when they can be.

Although... A lot of that goes out the window for a certain lineage.

As the most recent descendant of Nana by the time Chirin is an infant god and wrangling the bishops from purgatory, Feyun is the exception to all of this. As was their parents and their grandparents and so on. Chirin has followed that lineage closely and has shown special attachment and treatment to every single descendant. Not that they'll admit it. Of course.

but he won't be here.

eliot is here, and he tries to help parker fill the empty spaces, but he has his own spaces he fills and she doesn't want him to be hardison. she wants him to be eliot.

during the day they're with sophie and breanna and harry, and together they're a crew. not the crew, but they're close. when they're together, parker feels settled. she's not whole, but the emptiness is just a little less empty.

it's at night, when it's the hardest. when the bed is suddenly too big, when the table is suddenly too empty, when the house is suddenly too quiet.

eliot's arms come around parker then, a lock she doesn't break. he holds her and she feels his breath against her neck, listens to the quiet rumble of his voice as he talks. it fills the silence, but it can't replace what's gone.

Who are the hostages still held by Hamas?

On October 7, 2023, 253 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas and gazan civilians. Since then, 105 were released in a prisioner exchange deal, 4 were released by Hamas and 3 were rescued.

However, 60 remain in captivity [as of 02/09/24] (4 of those were kidnapped prior to 2023). A recent investigation has concluded that more than a fifth of the hostages are dead and the fate of some other hostages remains unknown. This video explains how doctors determine which hostages are dead, based on the nature of their injury and by analyising footage and the victims' last phone calls. Additionally, during the operation in Gaza, the IDF has recovered the bodies of a few victims and returned to their families for burial.

Since I couldn't find this all in one place, I've compiled a list of: 1) hostages who are presumed alive; 2) hostaged whose death has been reported/confirmed; 3) hostages who were released or rescued. In the group of hostages presumed to be alive who haven't been released, the youngest is 1-year-old Kfir Bibas and the oldest hostage is Iraqi-born 85-year old Shlomo Mansour.

As we learn more information, I'll continue to update this post.

They need to come back home. I'm hoping for more successful rescue operations soon. Keep them in your thoughts.

Lyanna was a very privileged girl who was indulged by her family and was taught how to joust- stop right there. You are basically going directly against canon:

Lyanna was clearly not indulged more than any other female noble child in this world was.

And since she wasn’t allowed to carry a sword it’s obvious that she was also not allowed to joust, which means she was taught in secret or was entirely self taught.

These two characters in Bran’s vision are obviously a young Lyanna and Benjen, and it’s quite clear that she was not supposed to be doing this.

So, sorry, but Lyanna’s family had gendered expectations of her like any other noble family—the only difference between the Starks and most others comes from the fact that Lyanna decided to defy these expectations.

The only reason she was so good at ‘male activities’ was because of her own noncompliance. Attributing her deeds as the Knight of the Laughing Tree to naivety/childish idealization of knighthood and the indulgment of men instead of acknowledging her own hard work she was forced to keep secret is oh so feminist of you 🙄

Hi everyone I made an ace attorney self insert for sillies... I cannot recommend this enough, everyone should join me and make a self insert.

The backstory I came up with is she had a few art classes with Nick at college and then did a total career pivot to work in a tech company after graduating. She went to the art museum across the street from her office on her lunch break as a creative outlet and witnessed a murder and art robbery, and now she's a witness for a case Nick is working! Trying to question her is a pain because every time she tries to talk about what she saw she gets interrupted by a work call :(
