in the aftermath of the recent events, you were left heartbroken. it had been a 16 months into what you had thought was a happy relationship, and theodore’s sudden decision to end things without any reasons only added to your confusion.

along with the overwhelming emotions of sadness and anger, you found yourself in bed for days on end, consumed by thoughts of what could have caused everything to unravel.

the fear of encountering him only kept you holed up in your dormitory, leading you to skip meals and isolate yourself from everyone. your friend’s patience had run out, despite their affection for you, they couldnt stand watching you suffer in bed because of the certain slytherin any longer.

there was a party coming up in slytherins common room, which you immediately turn down the invitation, knowing theodore would be there performing with his bandmates. “cmon (y/n)! it’ll be fun plus you can use this opportunity to get your mind off of him!” your friend begged in a heartfelt plea.

you only groan, annoyance rising up slowly as you had been denying their offer all day. “god! fine fine ill fucking go!” you blurt out. your friend squeal, wrapping their arms around you as they squeeze you. “okay enough.. i already said im going! dont make me regret it,” you uttered under your friend. they immediately pull away. “you better keep your word!” they declare.

as the days passed and the party approached, you found yourself slipping back into your old habits. the routine of attending classes and meals became second nature once again, but there was one thing you made a conscious effort to avoid - nott. despite your efforts, you couldn't help but notice your other house mates whispering about how he would often stare at you from across the room. however, you continue to pay no attention towards him.

theodore and his bandmates—draco, mattheo, blaise, and pansy—were standing right across the room. he was simply taking a break after spending the entire night playing. he eased his messy hair out of his way and looked around the room while removing his guitar strap and gently placing the instrument down. merely wishing that you had made it.

he struggled to understand his own reasoning for ending things with you. yet, he could not bring himself to confront the truth. despite this, he deeply longed for your presence and the intimate moments shared between you. he had noticed that you were avoiding him, which he totally understood. he thought that breaking up with you was a foolish and regretful decision, and he felt like a total asshole for doing so.

his eyes landed on you. his eyes widening a bit in surprised that you had actually came. he scanned your figure, noticing that you were wearing his favorite dress of yours. there was a reason it was his favorite, his eyes scanning your curves and slowly went up towards your face. observing your light makeup and the red lipstick you loved to wear, he thought about how beautiful you looked to tonight.

he longed to reach out to you, to hold you close and shield you from the unwanted attention of those around you. but he knew he couldn't, for you were no longer his, a fact that tore at his heart. he could only clench his jaw in frustration and avert his gaze, unable to do anything.

upon your arrival at the event, you were dismayed to discover that your friend had already been discreetly ushered away from your side. a sense of isolation and regret washed over you as you watched her being dragged away by friends from different houses. with a heavy sigh, you made your way to the designated drink area, already questioning your decision of attending.

after grabbing a red, empty cup and filling it with spiked punch, you turn around and stand there looking around the room and taking in the view while sipping from your cup.

“hey hottie.” startled by an unfamiliar voice, you turn to your right and come face to face with cormac mclaggen - the persistent gryffindor who had been trying to woo you despite your relationship. his confident smirk is met with your nonchalant demeanor “heard you’re finally a free woman.” you roll your eyes, unimpressed, “piss off.” you state calmly before taking another sip and avert your gaze.

when theodore's eyes found you again, he saw mclaggen standing beside you. theodore couldn't help but feel uneasy as his gaze suddenly focused on the two of you. he knew too well that mclaggen had an unhealthy obsession with you and a reputation for being possessive. his eyebrows furrowed in slow anger, he watched the scene unfold with his jaw tightening involuntarily. theodore could sense that mclaggen had gone too far, and his tolerance was beginning to wear thin.

“oh come on sweetheart," he pleaded desperately, his hands gripping your waist tightly in a futile attempt to draw you closer to him. but you pushed him away, determined to break free from his grasp.

"fucking let go of me," you demanded, feeling disgusted by his touch. ignoring your command, he continued to hold onto you with a stubborn determination. "i don't think i wi—" his words were abruptly cut off as a punch landed square on his jaw, causing him to stumble backwards.

you stepped back in shock as your ex and mclaggen engaged in an intense physical fight, drawing the attention of others who gathered around them with murmurs and shouts.

as you stood there, trembling with fear and desperation, you mustered up all your strength to firmly grasp onto theo's arm and try to pry him away from the situation. your voice quivered as you exclaimed "theo, that's enough!"

but it was only when he felt your touch pulling him back that he finally stopped his aggressive actions. he made sure not to hurt you as he spat out angry Italian words towards the boy in front of him.

with a fierce glare, theodore warned the boy “se la tocchi ancora, cazzo, sei morto.” you quickly dragged him through the crowd, navigating through throngs of people until you reached the familiar staircase leading up to his dorm room.

despite his initial resistance, theo let himself be pulled along by your firm grip on his arm. once inside his room, he collapsed onto his bed in frustration and anger.

despite only sighing, you continue to search through his drawers in silence. after months had passed, you still remembered where you had left the small medkit and quickly retrieved it from its hiding spot. slamming it down on top of the drawer, your eyes begin to water as you gather supplies to clean off the blood from wounds.

theodore watched you silently, guilt piling up already within him. it was a surreal moment for you, helping your ex-boyfriend who had ended things between the two of you. turning around with watery eyes, you meet his gaze which softens upon seeing your tears.

you maintain your silence and proceed to gently wipe away the blood from his wounded face with the cloth. he watches you closely, visibly swallowing as he does so. "i'm sor-" he begins to say, but you quickly interrupt him, your voice shaking as you try to hold back tears. "don't you even dare apologize," your voice shakes with emotion as you struggle to hold back tears that threaten to spill over.

"(y/n)," he whispered, the sound of your name slipping from his lips causing you to feel a wave of emotions. tears began to flow down your cheeks as you gazed at him, meeting his gaze with a mixture of hurt and relief. without hesitation, he pulled you close to him on his bed, wrapping an arm around your waist. his heart ached, seeing how much pain he caused you. in between sobs, you heard him whispering apologies, begging for your forgiveness.

"and I promise you, you won't," he pleaded earnestly, his tone gentle yet determined. he could see the fear in your eyes and it pained him to know that someone had caused such deep scars on your heart."not ever again," he reassured, reaching out to gently rub your arm in a soothing gesture.

you raised your gaze to meet his, lifting your head from his chest with an unspoken question in your eyes. searching his features for any hints of hesitation or uncertainty, you couldn't help but nervously bite your lip - a small mannerism that always surfaced when you were anxious.

with the release of the vivre card translations i cant help but think about my love of kaidou, queen and king. queen has SO much lore and notable importance as a figure within the world of one piece AND within the wano arc, meanwhile King is just sort of a lunarian and doesn’t have much else to him as a character aside from things directly tied to that fact. but that’s exactly why i love the two of them so much. King’s simplicity is what makes him great !!! KAIDOU JUST PICKED HIM UP AND WAS LIKE “hello experiment baby. this lab’s fuckin nuts right. Do you want to be best buddies cause’ i’m gonna change the world” And he was like “well shit im not doin anything else let’s do this man” AND THE REST WAS HISTORY

and on the other hand its so funny how queen was invited and waited SEVEN WHOLE ASS YEARS to show up at kaidou’s door because he was busy with MADS. seven whole years of kaidou and king probably golfing using poor starving people as golfballs down in wano with them going back and forth daily about if queen is going to accept his invitation or not, only for kaidou to one day call across the room like “GUESS WHO I JUST GOT A CALL BACK FROM! I TOLD YOU!! I TOLD YOUR ASS SCIEN WOULD JOIN!!!” And a few days later some big fat guy shows up at their doorstep and:

He’s kind of just a big stupid asshole who’s been fucking around his whole life trying to kill himself, kill everyone else and has been waiting for Super Mario From The Legends to show up at wano and kill him. He drinks during battle. He gets really sad about not having fair fights with people he’s actively trying to kill. He’s a total piece of shit and put his son in a cave and chains for his oden hyperfixation but actively respects his pronouns. He paid two of the most heinous men alive to fund The Worst Devil Fruits Ever. He never confirms a kill and just assumes anyone he swings at hard enough has died instantly. Kaidou what’s wrong with you dude i love you

and then throw in jack who kaidou definitely put in just so he could tell people they were the four horsemen who is the biggest pushover of all time who none of the three respect and he’s just fine with that. What is their problem

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? god um ok. one sec. it's definitely 白镜 - White Mirror. tragic lesbians... most of what i write has a happy or at least ambiguous ending but this one follows canon so it's a tragedy instead

Have you ever had a fic translated? nop! someday i want to get good enough to translate my own hsr work into chinese just bc so much of what i write is influenced by reading and learning about chinese culture and linguistic quirks, but that wont be any time soon

Have you ever co-written a fic before? yes!! several actually. lonely 'til you hold me was a collab with a pinch hitter for the event it was for. then i also wrote on my old account Accursed Spawn with @shineoftherainbow which to this day i am obsessed with

What's your all-time favorite ship? oh man... i am fickle and my tastes change by the week, but i think i will always have a soft spot for einsla, even if i dont write them much

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? never say never but probably the seongjoong royalty au. i had it planned and everything but then people started discoursing around eden and the planned ending i wrote was potentially too topical, so i waited and then i lost steam.

What are your writing strengths? flow i think? ive always been pretty good at keeping things moving at a good pace. i edit myself a lot (and practice editing on some actual published books too!) so its become second nature to chop and change and move things around.

What are your writing weaknesses? actually writing. just kidding. probably that when i get stuck on something i tend to focus only on the fact that im stuck and cannot continue until i have unstuck myself

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? depends on what is meant my this! if it's about honorifics in dialogue (eg, hyung, -chan, dajie etc) i support it, since a lot don't translate well to english. Same with terms of endearment like -ito and -ie. if it's whole dialogue, it really depends. am i supposed to be able to understand the dialogue? is it something that could've been written just as well with 'he says, in [language]', does the author understand what they're writing, is it a text based or verbal conversation? does the pov character understand what's being said? (personally the best way to have dialogue in other languages is if the pov character isn't supposed to understand it. but always be aware that a native speaker of that language may still read the fic)

sigh....... i'd love to think all the wips will get finished. but there's a landoscar spinoff of tys(ntm) that i doubt will ever get finished because we are now more anti-lando lol than we were when we started. so its hard to continue. also because i'm too interested in writing new things, not wanting to go back to that universe.

What are your writing strengths?

hmmm. tricky. i think we do angst quite well - it's much easier for me to make them Suffer than it is to write them happy and in love i think. like the emotions and torment just come a lot more natural. and i do think sometimes our smut does eat. personally.

DIALOGUEEEEEE. this is charlie speaking saying em basically wrote all dialogue for TYS(NTM). and genuienly like. most of the KILLER lines were not me. i just can never think about what someone would say or how they would communicate if not blunt honesty. you can tell if i wrote the majority of a fic because it's just descriptions.

i chose to call myself okochama to get used to the name (as i’m planning to use it if i ever get around to becoming a vocaloid producer or otherwise a content creator). its direct translation would be childish or immature, i believe. it’s a trait i’ve been scolded for by nearly all of my friends, one i’ve been trying to erase from all aspects of my behavior. i try to please people, i really do, but i’ve never been able to stop acting the way it is natural to me. humming and jumping and repeating certain phrases, laughing at or finding wonder in things i shouldn’t. i do not want to traumadump, or experiencedump if you wish (as i believe i do not have trauma from these people), but you get my point. my apparent childishness is my most distinctive, albeit negative trait, and i chose to somehow “reclaim” it and call myself immature, in a way.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? i love a happy ending!! my series Odysseus in White Silk is probably the happiest ending, and in such an undeserved way hahaha it's so very AU because i was sad after s1 of the show and just wanted them all (and armandaniel) to live happily ever after

8. Do you get hate on fics? i dont think i ever have, but i tend to read comments in good faith too, so maybe someone out there is annoyed that i interpreted their vague dislike comment as a genuine comment or something, idk. in general though, i'll say no

If so, what kind? yes but i dont post that often, idk if there's a particular kind, but generally it tends to be a little rougher than is probably appropriate without discussion in real-life situations, but also very...idk my friend described it as very tender, like theyre very clearly in love. which is so funny considering that that kind of tenderness irl gives me fucking hives lmfao

What’s the craziest one you’ve written? oh wow, not in a long time. i do have a wip sitting around rn that's a crossover between london spy and cloud atlas, which is really crazy until you remember that ben whishaw is in both london spy and the cloud atlas movie lol. and cloud atlas is already about weird reincarnations and parallel worlds and stuff, so it isnt too out-there.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? hmmm, i would like to finish Roswell -- well, kinda (agent carter farm girl / alien crash landing au) because i still have all the original notes and outlines and stuff. i also made a shitty conlang when i was first writing it, which is crazy lol. but it would need some pretty serious revisions, and i would definitely rewrite the first few chapters that i posted years ago. i just kind of lost the agent carter bug, but i might return to that fic if i ever get in the mood for it again.

What are your writing strengths? ooh, i'm not really sure! i get a lot of comments mentioning characters' voices and/or personalities, so i would say maybe that!!! i also feel that i'm fairly good at mimicking an author's writing style when i want to (notably, i do not mimic anne rice when writing vc fic, lol)

What are your writing weaknesses? editing for sure. i have at least a hundred fics sitting on my hard drive fully or almost-fully written that i just need to edit. but i would simply rather die than do all of that. it's also why my whole merlin fic got put on pause while i went down the vc rabbithole, because i just can't bring myself to go edit the next chapters lol

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? hmm, i think it's usually unnecessary and comes off as a bit silly. that said, i did do it once (maybe excessively) in Daniel Molloy, Time Bandit (1984 daniel ends up in 1794 theatre des vampires, it's more of a character study than a time travel fic) BUT, let me defend myself -- i did it because daniel doesnt understand french, it's his pov, and he's incredibly confused and distraught for most of the fic. i felt like the dialogue being in french conveyed this sort of "daniel does not belong in this time/place" vibes. but, also, my french is...a little rough. so i'm sure it's an annoying fic for french readers lmao

Favourite fic you’ve written? ok, i have three different answers for this. the fic i think is the best, objectively, in terms of writing and content: The Story of Dani [...] (r63 devil's minion from armand's pov, starting with lestat's house). the fic i am the proudest of, mostly because it was my first "big" fic (it's funny now, bc it's only 41k) and i feel like i grew a lot as a writer while working on it, and i'm still happy with it: The Face of God (les mis pov javert, character study from childhood). the fic i have the most fun with and think about almost 24/7: Arthur Pendragon, Long May She Reign (r63 merthur, canon divergence, this is like a 4-part series that's currently over 300k lmao)

How do you draw eyes?

i made a lil tutorial for you so let me explain down below my eyes are pretty simple so its nothing really bíg but i still hope i can explain them in an easy and understandable way

find a shape you like! i usually like triangles or diamond-shapes.

try to translate the shape into some sort of eye. make the corners smoother, add lil lines or eyelids if you want to. Make the inner eye bigger (or keep them as a single line thats cool as well)

clean your sketch. if you drawing a frontal profile try to make the eyes the same size. the pupils dont need to be completly round - they can have corners too if you want a more cartoony style

lineart. Try to clean the clean sketch even more and have fun with lineweight. this style of eyes also looks good if the wide of the lineart is the same. The eyes dont have to be perfectly the same - eyes usually arent 100% alike (for sake of speed i did copy the eyes - which actually is pretty fine. If you struggle with one eye its totally valid to just copy and flip the one you already lined)

base colors. You can have the different colors of the skin on different layers. I usually color and shade each color individually. I blur the inner corners of the eyes

shading. i use a pastel blue-purple to shade the eye whites. the iris i shade with a darker color of the base color. You can also color shift a bit - it will look cool. i color skin with a pastel purple on a multiply layer and i do blush with a red on a multiply layer on 30% opacity. (you can use other shading colors/blush colors and experiment and maybe find a color you like)

coloring lineart. To color the lineart I use the shading color of the iris and the skin and color the lineart with 50% opacity. I also color in the pupil white. I dont usually do catchlights but a small one does look rather cute

I'm still working through Glossika japanese app course. Some updated opinions:

The sentences (appear to have) less errors than the initial 400. But because I was seeing 20% errors for the first fee hundred sentences, I wpuld recommend taking anything you learn from the glossika app with a grain of salt. Treat it as if you learned from random sentences online you slapped into google translate (having in mind google translate gives like 20% errors with languages like japanese for some sentences). For a paid product, the level of mistakes is too high.

As for actual learning: its fine, now that I've gotten into the rhythm. I think Clozemaster is slightly better, because even though it ALSO uses random semtences and machine translations it also gives the option to click individual word definitions in each sentence - this feature helps you translate piece by piece to figure out the grammar a bit better and notice potentially where the translation error is (so you can ignore the error part and learm from the rest).

On the flip side? Glossika's main benefit for me, is it autoplays english/japanese sentences and automatically progresses me to new sentences. I like hands off study I can do other things at the same time with, i have poor focus for staring at an app and diligently working on it for several minutes/hours. But I can get myself to play audio and keep listening for hours most of the time. I PREFER free tools to glossika, but i do like that glossika is built to either autoplay new things, or autoplay reviews, depemding on what i pick. So i can know im making progress and control how much time i put into reviews. With free resources ive used (which were EXCELLENT) i usually almost exclusively only listened to New audio, because tje instant i was in control of my own reviewing i would waste hours replaying old audio and stop trying to progress and get obsessed with reviewing until i was perfect. So i forced myself to only use new audio to prevent myself getting into a "make no progress and only review" loop i tend to personally fall into. With glossika, i can do reviews occasionally because i do see when they "end" with a hard limit of when ive done all the the sentences audio for the day, and i can totally ignore reviews and focus ONLY on new audio if i notice im getting too focused on reviews.

As a beginner? I recommend Japaneseaudiolessons.com (free), Genki textbooks (great if you want to use a textbook), or maybe japanesepod101 (paid or some lessons free, all lessons free if you get Immersive Language Japanese through your library like on Hoopla app). I think the Glossika app is maybe intending to drill on the VARIETY of everyday basic conversation (giving say 5 sentences of how you might ask someone to hang out, or do a task), but its NOT quickly going through A1 material in terms of how to do what an A1 student should learn to do. You should be learning: my name is, i like X, i work at X, i come from X place, what is your name? How are you? Can I buy X? How much for X? Well in the glossika app it took like 1000 sentences to finally get to "she's from new york" or "i lived there for a long time." I dont think ive actually heard "my name is/whats your name" yet, and im through 1400 sentences. As a beginner, if you use glossika app it make take weeks or MONTHS (deoendijg on your pace) before you get to learning to say some basic lines a tourist might wish to use. Genki would cover those kinds of lines much quicker, even the Teach Yourself (multiple language beginner basic books) books will probably cover introduction and shopping skills in the first few lessons. Glossika both makes you spend TONS of time in A1 material (like 1800 sentences) while also taking a long time to prepare you to ssy basic shit you might need asap. You learn "the train station is near here" "if you leave soon you'll make it" "when are you coming" "i got here as fast as i could" before you learn "whats your name". Now these are still useful sentences - its a good way to learn a lot of grammar with very basic everyday topics. I think it probably is going to help me understand slice of life cdramas. I finally learned HOSHII which is like wish/want and ive heard in Yakuza 7 a ton and always look up then forget. But i think going into glossika WITHOUT those basic introduction/shopping skills? Would be incredibly frustrating. Other learning resources would prepare you quicker. And other resources would explain basic particles use, basic verb and adjective conjugations, which will help parse glossikas sentences. Glossika app's beginner A1 section is not quick about preparing beginners for the initial skills in the language. Now, if your goal is READING asap, before basic speaking topic skills? Glossika might be a bit more suited to you. But even then.... core 2k or 6k anki deck, iKnow Japanese site, nukemarine's Lets Learn Japanese Decks, would all cover more vocabulary faster which helps (and have less errors).

If i could build apps or programs. Id probably just want something that says TTS (Microsoft's since its nicest sounding) english sentence, then 2 repeats of the target language sentencence (or you can specify repeats and order you want). And it would work by having you paste in a new sentence text to "add" to your sentences collection. Or you'd import someone else's sentences collection (to get 5000 sentences from someone else). Then the app would play new sentences if you click Play New, sort of glossika style with maybe 5 repeats of the sentence in a lesson session. And if you click "play New" it would keep going down the list of sentences you havent studied yet. Or you click "review" and it would play audio of sentences you've studied. It would prioritize playing the Next sentences in the review queue (that you didnt listen to during your last review), so you dont end up revieeing the same 200 sentences each time. So that instead it plays the first 200, then the next 200, then the next until it goes all the way to prior reviewed sentences and you then do your next round of reviewing prior reviewed stuff. And only replays ALL sentences if you pick "review all" or if you just keep listening to the Review queue until it loops all the way back to the beginning of your sentences in the review queue. (This would make it better than Clozemaster which does tend to loop review only a few sentences if you used Radio mode, back when i used the app). The app i'd want would have to Machine translate target language text sentences put in (or you'd make an excel sheet with Target Language and Translations put in, and import that and have the app use Your Translations instead of making them automatically). The app would use TTS for all audio, although it would be really cool to build in the ability to import audio files for the Target Language audio if you have it (or if the sentence collection you import has it - like an anki deck with chinese audio on the chinese sentence text side). The app could even be used to turn a novel or game script into sentences to study with english/target language audio, since you'd just need to import the sentences. Unfortunately I dont know how to build an app or program like this. But it would cover some shortcomings I've seen in other apps, and be very listening focused. I suppose the app could show the sentence text like Glossika or Clozemaster too, if you chose to look at the sentences autoplayed audio, so you could get some reading practice in. And an option to repeat a sentence as its on a given sentence (like in glossika or clozemaster), so you can re-listen to hear it clearer or read it while listening a few more times.

Aside from that maybe Honey please try to love me as it is an unfinished work that started and ended with a break up

I live in a world of clownery where I fully intended to finish all wips eventually (ignore the fact that some haven't been updated in literal years)(I'm working on them I swear)

I feel like I'm pretty good at characterization and voice. I've also gotten a lot better at description and image recently

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

action scenes can and will kill me. also I don't know why I write romance so much seeing as I have literally never dated anyone. Also I tend to struggle with longer projects, although I'm much better at it than I used to be.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Its fine but I prefer to be familiar with the language before writing it. And seeing as other than English I only know Latin, ancient greek, and ASL it doesn't come up often when writing fic

ohhhhhh that's hard. I love The Many Proposals of Nyssa and Tegan, both because of the fic itself and also because it introduced me to some lovely fandom friends. Everything After is one I am particularly proud of, as is Raising Our Glass, I don't know if I could pick one

Yes! (usually) I try to respond when people take the time to say something nice about what I've written, because they're encouraging me to write more and I think its good to encourage people to comment/interact more

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Oh, no, I need a certain happy ending, at least in fanfiction. Yes my childhood was unstable, how did you know?

No, I don't really see the appeal personally.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not hate per say, but just some bitching from people who can understand nuance or disagreed with my take on the relationship

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes, so far I have only written it in longer form fics with context, all pretty vanilla. I've wondered for a long time why smut is such a staple of fanfiction and I think that people are frustrated with writers and directors casting aside sex as an (often) valuable part of romantic love and attraction. Like, why are you giving light to affection and communication and support but dismissing the sexual component of love with a closed door, winking and nudging the readers. Thats also a part of why RWRB was such a great movie in my opinion, it treated sex as a normal and healthy and loving part of a couples story, and fanfiction does the same thing. It all ties back into sex being viewed only through the male gaze bc bodice rippers have been doing that for years, but I digress

Nope! But I use a lot of really common themes and tropes so theres other fics like mine out there

No, that would be interesting.

No, I would love collaborating with other writers or creators here! Either writing together, making art to accopnay of fic or beta reading one another, my only real worry about getting involved is not making deadlines, my life is busy and I like to know i can work at my own pace and publish once completed so I don't leave anyone hanging

Honestly, Gallavich. But longest running? Zutara, I'm hoping to see a renaissance there with the new series

I think I'll be able to get everything done, sooner or later

I think I'm pretty good at coming up with cohesive and interesting plots, and I think i'm slowly becoming pretty good at getting into a characters head and writing dialouge for them

Proofreading! Bro I will print something I've written out to review but still catch like 7 stupid mistakes when I scroll through quickly after posting that shit drives me crazy

I also want to get really really good at controlling the pace of a piece of writing, not that its a weakness per say im just not as good as I'd like to be yet

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Eh, its fine. A lot of the time I wonder who it's for though, like if you dont speak the language and just translate something through an inaccurate translator, it's not really for a fluent speaker and its not really for you

inferno is out of eeby deeby. he last remembers being in the cave lol. of course, undyne comes over and grabs his hair. barbie is just confused lol. dans messages moss god if they can kill him yet. no darn. vani and tori both picked up jevils scent nice. its in 1 spot so gotta keep going in a radius. just keep following. near the city gate cool. frog is riding tori for funsies. (cam is infodumping tf2 lore to inferno lol)

barbie finally asks why inferno is being dragged by his hair. its cause hes evil lol. she wonders why no hand holding like wtf no barbie. everytime they pass someone they cheer hi barbie xD jevil seems to be zig zagging around. just keep following. we finally found a trail!

river in the way. barbie gets to see soupnik lol. she summons a pink pegasus. gotta get across this big river. 1.5 miles across?! time to get on soupnik. frog hops on the pegasus lol. tori squints but allows it.

on the otherside! (moss is so mad we keep rolling high and wont let us find a trail cheater) barbie says she has to get back to work and is gonna send another paladin to help us. tori wants to know who shes sending so suzy translates lol. the person that put jevil away originally. tori unwild shapes. dans is playing fetch with vani. tori communes with nature. suzy is trying to swim goddamn. inferno wishes he could swim F.

jevils not here. tori goes and gets suzy from the river lol. no drowning today xD suzy asks if jevil swam it lol. dunno since moss didnt let us smell him. dans comments he might have been swept away. inferno says he might be dead and frog gets sad. dans comforts them and says jevil is strong so hes fine. undyne goes to dunk inferno in the river lol but stops cause frog says too.

the others manage to convince undyne to release inferno but she says shes gonna kill him if he tries anything. suzy says shes not allowed to kill him lol. tori is talking to trees asking about jevil lol. suzy tries to swim again! inferno tries to tell suzy shes gonna fucking drown lol. she says she can swim and ignores him. tori whips around like nuh uh. suzys like fuck. she sits by inferno and he says theyll jump in the next river.

infernos cat just comes out of the river totally dry lol. curls up in his lap. frog just starts petting it as inferno tries to push it off but it curls back into him. eventually he stands up and makes it fall. it hisses and runs into inferno and makes him stumbles but hes still standing. how did it move him?! undyne uses divine sense on the cat. its a celestial! it stares at undyne vaguely menancingly. she glares back lol. wtf why is it following inferno. frog uses speak to animals. it says inferno is funny and mean. inferno is just bewildered. he smells like catnip lol.

the trees told tori jevil got swept away lol. tori lets us know. gotta follow the river and suzy tries to go in the river again lol. they hear a voice that dans knows! "I see you havent gotten any taller." dans grins and looks up. "I see you still look like a mop." he walks over and they claps hands awesomely. "New friend of yours, Kris?" KRIS THE PALADIN MAKES AN OFFICIAL APPEARANCE! kris shakes hands with undyne. the other person looks like an adult suzy! Undyne looks between big and small suzy and asks if their the same person. dans introduces kris and suzy to everyone. kris says 3 people including themself captured jevil. third guy isnt here right now. (moss didnt make them a sheet lol moss just fucking ask me next time id make one)

dans tells them jevil got swept away so were heading down river. cams just happy they dont have to swim. dans and kris catch up while they walk. cam is singing with frog. kris looks at inferno, then whispers to dans and they laugh lol. cam goes eeby deeby! frog keeps playing. big suzy asks undyne whats the heaviest thing they can lift. 'think of the heaviest thing you can think of, i can do it.' she does a handstand and claims to be holding the world lol. she tries to knock her over lol. undyne avoids both suzys lol. she gets back on her feet. she gets flipped off lol.

tori wild shapes again. her and vani searching for smells. kris pulls out some chocolate and eats it and give dans a small piece. kris looks back at frog and offers some of course they want some! dans tosses some jerky to little suzy and she catches it in her mouth. tori fucking jumps in the river and lil suzy is so mad lol. she made it across nice. sniffing from both sides. dammit suzy jumped in. inferno tries to stop her. he catches her! suzy is so pissed. angry barking across the river. big suzy is just laughing at them. frog says they can turn suzy into a duck then they can swim. undyne says not to do that but suzy wants to be a piranna, so does inferno.

dans writes a note and sends it to tori on mage hand to let her know whats happening. more angry barking lol. frog decides tori wont be mad if they only transform inferno. hes gonna be a shark! undyne grabs suzy nope shes not going. hes a shark now and he cant talk lol. suzy cheers and runs after him. kris and dans bet of suzy gets swept away or not. suzy rides inferno like a horse lol. she makes it nice. tori is trying to yank her out. suzy cackles and gets off inferno. tori drops wildshape to yell at suzy. frog drops concentration on inferno. suzy grabs inferno and drags him to shore.

dans hands kris 20 gold lol. suzy and inferno fistbump sksksksk. tori fucking carries both of them sksksksk. undyne tells soupnik to watch inferno. tori finds footprints or something. undyne calls soupnik over so we can cross. suzy asks why kris doesnt have a wyvern. they just smile at her lol. the cat just walks across the river wtf. we cross to the otherside, jevil next time!

My only question is what site you plan to post it on? I know there are some sites out there that aren't super ethical with their content--if my work (or yours, in doing the translation) were to be fed into a generative text AI, be used for financial gain (like, locking access to it behind a subscription or something), or end up inviting/facilitating harassment towards me or others, I'd rather it not be posted there. I'm sure it's probably totally fine, but it's always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to explicit fic lol.

But I assume this site is just another fanfic-sharing site like AO3. And as long as it is, you have my full blessing! Thank *you,* for appreciating my work so much! :3

right now ive been writing for the last of us but most of my fics are star wars (specifically most of them are the clone wars) and i have one six of crows fic

all of them are star wars fics

lean on me (but let me laugh, first)

fill the hollow space with silence (and other words of comfort that aren't so comforting)

i think i get to most of them and i seriously try my best to but like i struggle with replying to even my texts irl and i have no concept of time at all (the adhd is adhd-ing unfortunately) but every single one literally makes my life

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

i think either the love only lasts so long (the grief lasts longer, the guilt never leaves) or this silence hurts worse than the truth (if only you would tell it) which are quite literally the same exact situation just from different povs because i have never had an original thought in my life. it's post-mortis arc in the clone wars with anakin and ahsoka and the transparently trauma-shaped elephant in the room between them.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

i honestly have no idea? so im just going to say my tlou fic statistically significant because although its bittersweet it ends with joel and ellie together and thats literally all i need to be happy at this point in my life.

no, but i probably should.

okay but self deprecation aside idk maybe like imagery or metaphors sometimes? also apparently writing emotion ig? my english teacher in high school told me i was good at the psychological aspect of understanding a character and their actions/emotions but i don't know man

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

for starters, starting. im supremely bad at starting things. i always struggle with intros/the beginning of writing pieces. and i struggle with plotting/planning things. i also am incapable of writing genuine dialogue, every conversation i write sounds so disjointed and awkward. i also tend to focus too much on the introspective aspect of characters and forget about that irrelevant little thing called a "plot."

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i made up my own language for a few star wars fics and it was so atrocious that i can't even bring myself to reread them again so i think i'll be staying away from that one for a little while.

however if i was smart or savvy enough to pull it off i would totally do it that would be sick.

percy jackson when i was 10 years old on wattpad. my older brother and i co-wrote the fic and then i made my friend at school edit it on the computers in the library. still have yet to live that one down.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

weighted words hurt more than loaded fists (if you know how to use them) i have a soft spot for it even though it's one of my least popular fics in terms of like hits and kudos. its just a found family (shocker, i know) modern/foster care au with rex and ahsoka. i like the imagery, metaphors, and just the vibes overall.
