I've heard that one of the most problematic bnf from the other side of the fandom claimed on Tiktok that Tommy wouldn't be part of the emergency landing rescue because "the controls (of a helicopter and a jet airliner) are different". I know I made a whole thing out of Tommy being a helicopter pilot instead of a fixed wing one. (I even made up a sunshiny airplane pilot ex boyfriend for Tommy, that was fun while it lasted) I have no idea how that bnf makes the logical leap that if Tommy isn't physically solo flying that plane, then he won't be involved at all. He's still a firefighter working with aircrafts at an airport. Unless the writers for some reason don't want Tommy to be in the episodes at all and pull the "not on duty" card, it would actually make less sense for him not to be there.

You know the drill. Don't read further if the discussion of Tommy not being able to fly everything bothers you. Block the tag #aviation realism if this whole topic doesn't interest you. I've hesitated a lot whether I should post my thoughts on this, but I guess this is the last chance to speculate, so here goes nothing. This is my specs for Tommy's involvement in the plane disaster.

First, I want to clarify something. I never said Tommy wasn't on the plane in 2x14. If by flying that plane, you mean actually taking the pilot seat, grabbing the yoke and executing risky low altitude maneuvers over mountainous terrain, no, I don't think Tommy can do it. The thing is, operating an aircraft that size requires a whole team, up to 5 in this case. I can totally imagine Tommy onboard sitting behind the pilots, helping out with navigation or precise drop coordination.

It's possible, even common to transition from flying rotary to fixed wing. JetBlue and Frontier both provide rotor transition programs to veterans, I've also seen a former Army Blackhawk pilot now flies the C-130 for the Coast Guard. Training ex-military pilots to become commercial airliner pilots has a higher success rate and takes less time than training a regular civilian. But you see the problem, none of them have been working as an active firefighter for the past 20 years.

Let's cut to the chase, I don't think Tommy will be landing that plane. In the original film, they decide transferring an Air Force pilot into the crippled 747 is the only option, because they think woman dumb Nancy can't handle it. Aviation technology has come a very long way since the 70s. This MythBusters episode from 2007 proves that not only is it possible for a complete novice to land a jet airliner by following verbal instructions, modern planes are so advanced that they can practically land themselves.

Sure, there probably will be some major damages to the systems needed for a normal landing (landing gear, flaps, brakes, thrust reversers) rendering an autoland impossible, because drama. But then you run into the problem of where the hell is the Air Force. Last season, the Coast Guard was busy rescuing other ships stranded at sea so some LAFD firefighters had to steal a helicopter to search for a cruise ship that didn't call for help. This time, a passenger airliner without its flight crew has a very real possibility of crashing in a densely populated urban area, the whole incident is also reported live on TV news, how can they explain the absence of the Air Force? Even assuming no commercial pilots in the area, including the ex-military ones are willing to do such a dangerous stunt and tether into the cockpit from outside, what's stopping the AIr Force pilots?

I don't think Tommy will be the one instructing Athena through the landing either. You run into basically the same problem. There are plenty of flight instructors of that exact model of aircraft out there better suited for the job. Flying a modern airliner, especially an Airbus, is more like flying a computer than an actual plane. You need someone with intimate knowledge of the plane's flight control systems in order to talk a non-pilot through operating it.

I know, I know, I'm being a killjoy right now, I'm worse than the Tommy haters and I should shut the fuck up, but even if we're going 100% realistic, referring to real life aviation incidents of this scale (Yes, I'm talking about JetBlue 292 again), Tommy is especially going to be part of the rescue.

Real!LAFD deployed a few helicopters in the JetBlue sideway nose gear incident to monitor the airfield and to help coordinate ground personnel/equipment, with a couple more standing by on the ground in case anyone on the plane needed emergency medevac.

I think the first officer might need a chopper ride if they want to save his femoral artery.

In the same incident, a local news copter also helped survey the landing gear issue from the outside. Tommy's helicopter can do that as well.

It's getting too long, but I have a few out-of-universe reasons for why Tommy will likely not play a super major part in this plane disaster arc, I'll just speed through them: Tommy's not a main character when screen time is already tight for the mains (I'd prefer to see him more in later Buck centric eps), he's already saved the day last season, I think production has blown all their budget on the airplane sets, the new trucks and the CGI bees already that they can't fit a helicopter in. (Let alone to replicate the original pilot transferal scene, it was a real stunt, they really got an AIr Force helicopter to dangle a stuntman in front of a flying 747. It was dangerous and hella expensive)

I actually hope Tommy would be working on the ground this time, I would kill to see him working with Buck and the 118, and not in the sky doing his own thing.

I want this to be a community Cruise WR/DR where we will get to experience all of the ports this world and the next has to offer. You are all invited to read the information below the cut, and I hope to see you on the seas.

(This will be my first time group shifting and as I understand it, not everyone believes this is possible. If that is true for you, I welcome you to view this invitation as a message from your own subconscious to seek out this vacation with the rest of our “clones”. Or, whatever makes sense to you. Or maybe Group Shifts are not your thing and you want a little more control? Totally fine. Please feel free to take this idea and make it your own. Safe travels.)

SO you are interested! Grand! That makes me very happy. I want you to imagine The Hippocampus as something akin to a magical version of “The Icon of the Seas”. Your Captain for this journey will be none other than Barbie, and she is ecstatic to see you brought safely to each port. 

There are a few Reality Laws I want to touch on before getting into describing what this adventure will be like for us. 

Everyone with residence on the ship will be immortal during the duration of their stay. 

Any vices that may harm you in this world will not carry over to your new reality. 

There will be no disease, viruses, bacteria, fungal, parasitic, infections or other physical ailment that can harm you in this world either. 

You will not feel pain or receive injuries. 

You will not suffer any chronic illnesses or allergies that you may have in other realities. 

Should you be neurodivergent or mentally/physically disabled you may choose whether or not you wish to discard those things at the door.

Your Invitation allows you a +1, however, beyond that extension no one else will be granted access to the ship.

To ensure the safety of all passengers, any people aboard that have violent tendencies will magically have those urges eradicated from them. Even though you can’t be harmed, no one wants to deal with fighting drama.

You will never get tired or need to sleep if you don’t want to.

If you don’t want to eat or drink, that won’t affect your health either. If you don’t do either of these your body will stop needing to use the toilet though. 

If you don’t want to experience a period on this trip you won’t, and you can’t get pregnant for any reason.  

You won’t need to shower to maintain your very fine scent, but you may want to for other reasons.

The weather will always be ideal for sailing. 

The Ship itself is indestructible, will always stay perfectly afloat, and all rooms are soundproof.

There is no money to worry about in this reality. You can’t gamble away your life savings, and everything costs nothing. Want a pastry from a mom and pop shop at port? Scan your roomkey, and that will act as payment. 

Lastly, I highly recommend setting the intention to having no time ratios. If you want to skip a few ports before coming back, you can set that up with your intentions or at the Ports & Excursions desk. 

A few things to keep in mind:

No you do not have to shift at exactly 6pm on Aug 30th. Regardless of when or how you shift, if you intend to make it for the Cast Off Pool Party you will make it there. You can also arrive as early or as late as you wish if you prefer a different experience. 

Upon shifting you will notice a “smart watch” attached to your person. This is your room key, communication device, and will help you keep track of all the things you want to do both on and off the ship. If watches aren’t your thing you can opt for a smart pendant. These items will be entirely water submersible and indestructible. If you lose it at any time head to the Help/CS desk located in the main atrium near the Port and Excursions desk.

Your ship is run by people from the Barbie Universe. Even though they are all happy to be serving you, please treat them with kindness and respect. 

You are welcome to change out your +1 as often as you like via your intentions or by visiting the CS desk. (Helpful for people who don't know if they are a good fit for certain s/os and just want a trial run.)

This cruise is set up to continue indefinitely, so permashifters are more than welcome to make this their home base.

What you can expect upon shifting to our Cast Off Pool Party?

Well first of all this reality won’t look exactly like ours. I figured a few people may bring animated beings along as their +1s so I wanted to pick a look somewhere in the middle that won’t be too jarring. I am sure you are aware that Video Game Graphics can be nearly as realistic as our world if not a little more saturated and slightly less textured. That’s what I’m going for. 

If you want to attend the Pool Party as intended I highly suggest setting your intention to shift directly to your Cabin the day of, or if you prefer awake methods, the loading pier so you get to experience walking on to the ship and directly into the Main Atrium. Which has a huge aquarium full of aquatic pokemon.  (Milotic, Vaporeon, Primarina, Horsea, Magikarp, Goldeen, Shellder, Krabby, Remoraid, Luvdisc, and Finneon.)

I guess if you wanted to you could shift directly into the party itself, but keep in mind that it will be loud and you might get bumped.

Your Accommodations:

Everyone gets their own Balcony Cabin. If you are bringing a +1 they will be staying in your room with you. It will have a spacious bathroom, a king bed that can convert into 2 twin beds, a seating area both inside and out, a desk with a touchscreen computer, a limitless TV, a Magic Mirror, and unlimited room service. (Room and bed size can adjust to fit size and preferences.) Your room's decor is guaranteed to fit your taste and once you arrive you can decorate the outside of your Door, as many cruisers do, if you wish.  The walls are still metal though, so keep in mind that if you are going to hang anything up, you will need magnates. Now, let's talk about your Mirror! It’s in your walk-in closet. It’s going to stand 7ft tall starting from the floor. Upon first looking into it a virtual Barbie or Ken helper will guide you in a user tutorial. (This Virtual Helper can also appear on your TV or Computer with a click of a button to answer any question of yours at any time.) You can “purchase” anything you like from the mirror, favorite upcoming events on the ship, view outfits on yourself, and even alter your appearance and abilities. There is a handle on it which you can use to open and retrieve things from inside. It can change size and shape temporarily to accommodate your needs, and should you need help with any of your purchases you can call room service and ask them to send someone to assist you. 

Food

The Buffet is open 7am to 10:30am for breakfast, 11:30 to 2pm for lunch, and 4pm to 9pm for dinner. This is where you can find port themed food as well. 

2 made to order take away counters at every pool open from 10am to 3am. They are all different and well marked on your roomkey smart maps. (Burgers, Pizza, Fried Chicken, Sushi, Kabob House, Street Tacos, ect…)

A Bar at each poolside for all ages open 24/7

7 elevated dining Specialty restaurants open for 3 scheduled dinner services: 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm (These areas are use for Events and Classes during the day)

If you have brought someone with you that has extreme dietary preferences, you can call room service to have those things ethically provided. (Just like you, they won't need to eat if they don't want to)

Ports

We will always arrive at each port at the perfect time of year to visit them.

Wanna visit a port in a reality you are considering making a DR for, but aren't ready to commit to? Leave the details with the stsff at the help desk and it will be added into the rotation. We will send a message of confirmation to your roomkey ASAP and will remind you the week prior to docking their so you can book the excursions (or custom scenarios) you want.

Port Days: Tuesday (earth), Thursday (earth), & Saturday/Sunday (another world)

Sea Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Just like in this reality, each port will have an aray of pre planned outings if you don’t want to explore on your own. You can schedule as many as you like, and the hours of the day will fit your desires.

Miss Frizzle will be taking a select few onto her bus each week for an extra special seaday excursion. Make sure to see this desk to schedule your turn.

Custom ports & excursions

Want to visit your own DRs on port days, take an extended vacation at a particular port, or go road tripping to the grand canyon without missing the boat as it embarks on its next journey? Head to the CPE Desk in the Main Atrium. We can and will bend the “laws” of time and space for you.

Music can be heard all around the ship from 9am to 10pm, but a live DJ or concert of some kind will be playing each night on either the main pool deck or in the dance club until 2am.

Each night there will be 2 showings of a different live show. This show will run for a week before changing. It is not limited to plays or comedy acts as the stage floor can open up to an aquatic or trampoline base. 

Guest speakers can be seen a few times a week. 

Board games, trivia, and gameshow-like events are held every day from noon to 5pm. Look out for a schedule as there will be ttrpg campaigns you can sign up for twice a week. 

If you like craft, dance, or cooking Classes you’ll also want to ask your virtual helper to help you schedule those. 

Adults Only

Specialty mixologist and hookah bar off the main atrium; with other age appropriate substances.

Dance Club open until 3am.

The Trolley Problem, Part 50

In which Steve finds out that his message has not been passed on and rightfully freaks out.

The loudspeaker during homeroom announced that there would be an assembly in the gym in place of fifth period, in support of the families of the missing kids. There were lots of people talking about getting together after school and joining the search parties. Steve sat next to Carol and Tommy during English and asked them what they’d heard. Carol had the most to say about the rumor mill.

“Apparently yesterday, after school, Heather’s dad came by and started, like, interviewing people who had been at her party. He keeps saying that the cops aren’t doing enough, that Heather wouldn’t have just gotten lost in the woods. He’s, like, totally convinced that something happened to her.”

Steve raised his eyebrows and nodded, looking around the room to see who was listening in. There were definitely some people who were paying a little too much attention to their group. “Yeah, makes sense. My folks came home yesterday and were totally pissed that I wasn’t home when the cops came to ask about stuff. I’m basically grounded.” 

Tommy blew a raspberry. “Christ, talk about priorities. You save a girl’s life and you get grounded for it.” Steve reached down and pinched his arm, then gave him a tiny head shake, trying to tell him to tone it down. He frowned, but took the hint. “Anyway, what happened after, uh... after school stuff yesterday?”

Carol rolled her eyes. “Subtle,” she muttered, quiet enough that only Steve and Tommy could hear her. 

“Just stuff, you know.” Steve took another quick glance over Tommy’s head. The teacher was busy flipping through her notes. She’d given up on trying to control the class, now that everyone was talking about Heather and Kurt. He leaned in closer to Carol’s desk, and Tommy leaned back so he could hear whatever Steve whispered, too. “There’s too much to tell you here,” he said. “I gotta talk to Jonathan. I sent him a message through Dustin yesterday, but I couldn’t get through to him this morning. I need to find out what happened.”

“Through Dustin?” Carol whisper-hissed at him. “The kid?”

“He left a walkie under my bed and I couldn’t get down to use the phone while my parents were pissed off. It would’ve caused too many questions.” He rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged. “Besides, I’m pretty sure there are people listening in on our phones. You see all the white vans cruising around town? They’re definitely spying on us.” 

“That’s so fucking creepy,” Carol said. “Hey, do you think we should join in with the search parties? Would that be, like, normal?”

Steve grimaced. “For us? Not really, no,” he said. “We should go to the assembly, though. I want to know if they’re just looking for Heather and Kurt.” 

Tommy furrowed his brow. His hands were still bandaged up, the little burns on his face were healing up better. Carol had to draw his eyebrows back on with a makeup pencil, though, and she’d made him look extra surprised. “You think they’re not even going to mention Munson?” he asked. 

“I wouldn’t be surprised,” Steve said. He sighed heavily. “Though, as long as they don’t try to blame him for this shit, that’ll be better than what happened before.” 

Carol pouted at him, while Tommy nodded and drummed his hands on his desk. The bell finally rang, and they took off into the hallway with everyone else. Carol and Tommy followed him to the boys bathroom closest to the drama and band rooms. There were a couple of skinny boys in there, but they cleared out when they saw Steve and Tommy. Carol came in after they left, and Steve finally had a chance to tell them what had happened the night before.

“Wait, so she’s lost in the woods again?” Carol gasped.

“So I guess Jonathan didn’t call you about it,” Steve said. “I need to find him and find out what happened.” 

Tommy rubbed his hand over his face, smudging his eyebrows. “Jesus Christ,” he said. “Okay, let’s go find Byers.

It took a while to figure out Jonathan’s schedule. They skipped second period together while they looked, and then they were all waiting for him outside his classroom when the bell rang. He looked spooked. “Oh shit,” he said. “If you’re here for my lunch money, I don’t have any.” 

“Jesus, Byers,” Steve said. “We just want to know what happened last night. I figured you’d call me or something.”

Jonathan raised his eyebrows. They started walking as a group, ignoring the looks that other students were giving them. “Uh, what happened about what last night? Did I miss something?” 

Carol and Tommy groaned in unison. Steve just turned and stared at Jonathan. “Dustin was going to use the walkies to get Will to get you to go out to see Wayne—” He stopped when he realized how convoluted the explanation was getting. “Did Will not tell you anything? About, uh, Dustin’s cat going missing again?”

Jonathan blinked a few times. “Dustin’s cat?” he asked. “Why would I care about Dustin’s cat?”

Carol grabbed Jonathan’s arm and pulled him down close enough to whisper in his ear. “He means El, dummy,” she hissed. 

It took Jonathan a minute to process that. “Wait, missing? Again?” 

“In the woods,” said Steve. “I got grounded and couldn’t get out of the house to go look. Shit, I need to call Wayne.”

“What about the phones, Steve?” Tommy asked. 

“I’ll just... Christ, you’re right. I should just go over there.” 

Carol groaned and tugged at his arm next. “You can’t,” she said. “That’s not... God, you’ve really forgotten how to act normal, haven’t you?” 

Steve shrugged loosely, trying to adjust his posture to look like people expected. “Yeah, it’s been a while since I had to try,” he said. “But okay, I get it. I can’t go charging off.” He waved his hand over his shoulder, keeping the motion casual. 

Jonathan snorted a little. “All right, I’ll go,” he said. “I just... You’re sure Will knows what’s going on? He didn’t tell me anything.”

“Was he home this morning?” Steve asked.

“He left early,” Jonathan said, “but yeah, I saw him. He said he had to go see Dustin.” He paused and furrowed his brow. “Damn it, he does know what’s going on. Why wouldn’t he tell me?”

Tommy grunted. “Sounds like they’re up to something,” he said. “Maybe you should go check the middle school instead?” 

“Yeah, maybe,” said Jonathan. 

“Well, one of us has to check on Wayne,” Steve grumbled. 

“I’ll do it,” said Tommy. He held up his hand, which was still covered in bandages. “I’ll make up some shit about these bothering me and head out. Carol, you stick by Harrington. Maybe find Buckley and Wheeler, fill them in on everything. I’ll be back when I know something.”

Steve nodded. “Just, don’t be a dick to him. He’s kind of gruff, but—” 

“I’ll be good, I swear,” said Tommy.

The four of them split up then, though Steve and Carol had their next class together. He stayed quiet, thinking about how things would have been different the first time around if they’d had this many people in on the secret. Maybe that was why the boys all worked together so well. They could rely on each other. 

Steve knew that Jonathan would do what was best for Will, that Carol was good at planning things, and that Tommy was great at taking action. He was quickly falling into the same familiar friendship with Robin, too. Nancy was a bit of a wildcard. She really wasn’t the same person that she’d been last time around, and out of all of them, she was the only one who hadn’t had a first-hand monster encounter. Still, she was worried about Barb, and that made her more predictable.

He barely paid attention in class, but Carol took notes for both of them. Tommy still wasn’t back by lunch time, so he and Carol went to the cafeteria to see if they could find anyone else from their crew and see what else had happened that they’d missed.

I did a while ago, but I’d happily do it again! I’m not sure how much my opinions have changed.

Courtney/Duncan - 10/10 I talked about this in my Duncan ship ranking. I love duncney. certified classic to me. They’re my Roman Empire. Courtney’s allowed to be unhinged with Duncan, and he’d never admit it, but he loves her for it. Their build-up feels so genuine. Ugh, I just. I’m going to die a duncney fan. Free me from this hell.

Courtney/Scott - 9/10 honestly I really like scottney but I think the main detriment is that it didn’t get enough time to develop. It easily could’ve been on par with duncney if only they got more TIME. Courtney’s crush on him felt like she genuinely liked him for HIM. Scott is a little evil and a little gross, but that’s okay. She likes that, actually. I think they could bring out the best in each other (like Duncney), but Scott is much less unashamed of his desire to be bossed around. He’s so unashamed that he’s smitten of her and completely lacks Duncan’s ego. It works really well for me.

Courtney/Gwen - 10/10 absolutely a yuri classic. I gotta say, Courtney and Gwen did have real chemistry in all stars. I get that gwourtney is kind of overblown in the fandom, but it really does work. Every time Courtney and gwen are friends, i think it feels like a REAL friendship. The way they banter, the way they gossip, etc. it feels very genuine. I really do love it. In another universe, I think gwourtney could be endgame. There is nothing heterosexual about the way they interact in all stars. Courtney is so sweet and kind to Gwen, and we rarely see her like that. I really do love gwourtney.

Courtney/Bridgette - 8/10 I LOVE BRIDGNEY. Bridgette might be courtney’s only real friend by the end of the series. I think Bridgette loves and cares for courtney despite all her faults, and that makes for a pretty good ship. I also think brigette could work as a foil for courtney— bridgette is kind and forgiving, which is something courtney lacks. And then bridgette sometimes struggles to stand up for herself, which courtney is VERY good at doing, lol. There’s so much potential here. More bridgney content please.

Courtney/Heather - 10/10 this might actually be my favorite courtney ship. I know I said that about duncney, and as far as nostalgia is concerned, yeah, I’m a duncney fan first. But heathney has really grown on me over the years. While bridgney involves courtney and bridgette learning and growing with each other, heathney is exactly the opposite. They’re both evil. But always correct. And that’s fine.

Courtney/Alejandro - 9/10 another sleeper hit for me. I think I do prefer aleheather as far as Alejandro ships are concerned, but i think he and courtney could really work. The end of TDWT was basically heather using Alejandro the way Alejandro used Courtney. There’s a really interesting dynamic there. Total Drama Cruise Control also won me over with this one. Even though they weren’t endgame, the relationship between alecourtney was SO. *chefs kiss*

Last week i watched "Valkerie" (2008) Drama

I was so excited to find this on dvd at the last library sale I went to. total score.

This was the other movie my freind wanted to watch last week and she also thought it was a downer. ur falt girl.

This tells the story of the July 20th plot to blow up Hitler with a suitcase bomb. I thought it was pretty good. the drama and action were satisfying, and the story was exiting, even thoh (spoilers for real life) the plot failed and everyone died. They have made other movies about this story, and i want to watch them, but I don't think they could top this. it was just solid all around.

This movie had something in it that I rarely see in these kinds of movies and that's that they made Hitler actually scary. They barely show him and when he is shown, he's very calm, perfectly in control of everything, and has a deep, almost calming voice heightens the tension whenever you hear it. They play him like the dark emperor in a fantasy movie and it's quite effective. I've heard that David Bamber (Hitler's actor) listened to the secret tapes of Hitler's normal voice for this performance and it's very effective.

Also, it is from this movie that we get the glorious shot of Tom Cruises massive ass. Like holly shit. Apparently he claims it's real. sure Jan. If you wanna look for it it's at the very beginning of the movie before he looses his hand.

Also let me quickly show off my beautiful action figure of Stauffenberg. Amazing.

LIGHTNING AND HAROLD SET OFF, CATCHING A LARGE WAVE. TEAMS, FOLLOW THEM! > The waves are roaring! The wakes of the jetski feeding it, it goes higher and higher as Lightning and Harold hang on! It looks like both of them are evenly matched! >Um.....Scott.....is that.....a dark shadow following you?.... > Suddenly, Fang leaps out of the water! With a mighty roar he clamps down on Scott's jetski! > Fang thrashed violently around, snapping and tearing about! > With the Tapirs distracted with Fang....Lightning's wave dies down and Harold takes the lead! > Both Courtney and Jo begin attacking Fang! > Brick pulls Scott onto his jet ski! The love square truly looks out for each other. > The Tapirs try to catch up, but it's not enough! Harold is way too far ahead! > Fang leaps up, this time landing on the back of Jo's jetski. The sudden weight change makes it rear up! > In the chaos, Harold loses it- giving Lightning enough time to catch up! It looks like it's a slight Tapir lead! (Harold is mostly burning to death. Because he's a vampire.) > The love square battles with Fang! > HAROLD BARELY NABS THE LEAD! THIS IS A CLOSE CALL! > It's looking like the Tapirs are getting back! Lightning takes the lead! A Masquerade in Cabo San Lucas! No one recognizes each other! How fun!

> Brick dances with Alejandro, and they don't recognize each other...at first. Alejandro realizes it's Brick after he's called "sir." The next time they meet in the club, Alejandro takes off his mask and...Brick gets violently ill. All over him. > Trent's sudden friendship with Amy turns into an attachment. Amy later has to break the news to him, that her persona wasn't real. She does this by calling him the fake name he gave her, Jeremy. > Ripper spills feelings to who he thinks is a total stranger. It's Lightning, actually. The same guy he was teasing just a few days before. They no longer appear to dislike each other. > During the party, Raj recognizes Wayne, but Wayne doesn't recognize Raj. Wayne starts talking about his best friend, and Raj thinks he's talking about someone else, and not him. He runs out and panics on the beach, but Wayne is able to locate and comfort him. Raj tells him that someone on the ship (Alejandro) said that his best friend would hurt him on purpose someday. ______________________________________________ > Wayne, Raj and Ripper have a hot tub moment together. Ripper gifts Wayne a bandana that he'd stolen from Harold. Neither of them know it was stolen. Raj scolds Ripper for kicking sand at Harold. The hockey bros make Ripper apologize. > Ripper does not want to apologize to Harold, but he does so anyways. They form an alliance. >Alejandro and Amy promise to share with each other who they spent the night with. Amy reveals it was Trent, and Alejandro doesn't share. He laughs at her. He later reveals it was Brick and he also gets laughed at. > Amy acts as a wingman for Trent and scores him a date at an arcade with Alejandro. Amy and Alejandro spend Trent's money and ignore him the entire time. He leaves and they don't even notice. > Jo and Brick kiss. Win! > Alejandro asks Lightning about his scars. Lightning refuses to answer what caused them and gets huffy, leaving his crush behind, who frankly does not care. > Ripper finally accepts that he has a crush on Wayne. He comes out to Raj first but doesn't tell him it's Wayne.

> Alejandro apologizes for kicking sand at Harold. He offers to do something for Harold. Reluctantly, he accepts, and gets Alejandro to buy him a nurse costume. He planned to wear it when taking blood from people so that he doesn't feel as weird about it. (I have to remind everyone that yes, Harold is a vampire.) Alejandro buys a doctor costume for himself and they both plan on stealing blood from a blood bank together. > Ripper finally breaks and admits to several lies he's told to Raj. Raj, in return, tells him about his fear of birds. He hadn't opened up to anyone about that yet. > Courtney and Jo finally confront Ripper about the miscommunication he had with Brick. Instead of talking it out first, Courtney starts wailing on him. She only stops when she accidentally calls him Duncan. He is left with injuries. ______________________________________________

The Alejandro Bartending Experience!

While Ripper usually ends up doing bar duty as punishment, Alejandro decides to volunteer and receives a matching uniform. > Scott discussed his sexuality. > Wayne discusses what Alejandro told Raj at the beginning, that Wayne would hurt Raj on purpose and that he should step away. Alejandro NEEDS Wayne gone. > Amy talked about a fight she had with Trent in the gift shop regarding the date. She was shoved. They totally hate each other now. And Trent called her "Duncan," just like Courtney did to Ripper. > Jo provides her side of the Ripper beat down. > Raj and Ripper talked about Ripper's crush. They don't say who. > Ripper, Harold, and Alejandro join their alliances together. > Alejandro brings his alliance with Amy and Ripper together. Amy and Alejandro promise to disappear together.

The teams are getting slimmer, and things are heating up! Romance, manipulation, and straight up cruelty. OUCH! Will Harold be able to snatch the blood he needs?
