Tori never slept well when Dean was away. The bed felt too big, like the mattress and comforter were going to manifest into jaws and swallow her whole. What was nerve wracking was waking up to images of Dean dead or dying in horrific ways burned into the inside of her eyelids, and then reaching for him beside her only to grasp cold sheets.

It was part of the reason she stuffed Dean’s pillow, drowned in his cologne, into one of his flannels, worn soft from use. Tori had wrapped her arms around it, snuggling into it as she drifted off to sleep. It was nowhere near as good as the real thing, but it would do for the last night Dean and Sam would be away. Dean had texted her that afternoon that they were on the way back, but probably wouldn’t be arriving back at the Bunker until midmorning the following day. One more night. He might as well have told her it would be another week. But Tori put on a brave face, telling Dean to drive safe and to come home to her in one piece.

This is going to be mostly my rant on ep5 and some plots from the previous episodes

- My heart BREAKS for Tory, it’s like the writers just decided to add more on top of the misery from her story last season. S5 the girl broke up with someone she loves and cares about for Kreese’s plan, ended up hurting herself badly and had no one by her side the entire season, and now they just decided to kill off her mom just when her life is starting to get better. What did she do to deserve this??

- Look how quickly Daniel and Johnny moved on to Hawk for their selections literally after they all learned about Tory’s mother’s death, like if you both are such good senseis, wouldn’t it be nice to actually give a shit about Tory and her grief?? Instead of making if about yourself, how about we actually go console her and making sure she’s okay or at least be there? Both of them are such bad mentors for the kids, first is how they handled Kenny’s situation after he got humiliated with the accident, Johnny only spoke up when he’s fighting for Devon and Daniel rlly favors his kids than his other students. If any of these two even showed the same attention and support to Kenny and Tory, I’m sure neither of them would actually quit Miyagi-Do so quickly on the spot. Some sensei they really are huh.

- Robby my man, I get that going to the Sekai Taikai is important for you but are you really gonna do nothing after your girlfriend’s meltdown about her mother’s death? At this point this show’s writing is so bad I don’t wanna hear about any “they probably did this off-screen” kinda bullshit no more. I swear if part 2 has any point of showing him standing on the moral high ground accusing Tory of switching sides like what he did to her in s5 imma riot, cancel my Netflix subscription along with my family plan :))

- Based on s5 and what we’ve seen so far, my headcanon for Robby & Tory is that he’s the one that usually texts her first and he texts more but she’s not good with it, she’s not good with expressing her emotions either so sooner or later they’re gonna face this communication problem in the relationship (of which the problem was clearly shown before in s5 when they “broke up”)

- While the privileged kids talking about their top colleges and applications, what Robby and Tory had was the Sekai Taikai - underdogs in the top 4

- Devon, my girl…not a good decision…why you choose to go on that path

- I can never like Anthony he really gets on my nerves

- Bad writing with all those conflicts overall, hated how they handled Kenny’s character especially trying to embarrassing him for the flag fight. I was hoping to see him and his brother in more action but you can never expect too much from Cobra Kai writers I guess

- The baby storyline continues…the most boring and unnecessary storyline that ruins Johnny’s character as a father and a sensei

- CK really has this type of half assed writing throughout all seasons why am I surprised lmao

The good part:

- Sam & Tory’s reconciliation and their apologies to each other, the sleepover pillow fight was so cute and I love seeing both of them are so done with Johnny’s instigating

Maybe she meets the LaRusso family and sees how kind they are- maybe she's complaining about her shithole job and Mr. LaRusso decides to give her a nice paying internship (because he's trying to be better with second chances and he can tell that she really needs it) and Aisha and Tory kind of usher in this change for the rest of the Cobras?

Sorry this took a few days to get to. I've not been sleeping well. But omg this is amazing. I still absolutely love this and you make so many great points. Also, I couldn't think of a name for the baby, so she's lovingly referred to as Babygirl so y'all came fill in with whatever name ya want 💗

All the things that wouldn't happen would mean the whole trajectory of the show would change up a bit. However, I think Kreese would still be a manipulative shit and manage to keep ahold of Miguel, Tory, and the other Cobras for a while. Aisha, not so much but she stays in CK but just doesn't take a lot of Kreese's lessons to heart.

While Reader and Eli aren't in school, getting used to having a newborn around and such, the karate drama has some time to get bad. It would get bad. With Kreese instigating a lot from his end, the Cobras would start some bullshit with the Miyagi-Dos (the school rules wouldn't have been changed so there's a lot more freedom for stuff to just happen and it be played off as a joke or some karate practice). It's a hot mess.

Meanwhile, Reader and Eli are at home with their precious baby girl who is just too cute to even comprehend. Reader never wants to leave her side and Eli never wants to leave their side. It's so adorable, they're adorable. They are such a cute family.

The first few days, Daniel and Amanda rotated staying home with them to help out, especially since Reader literally just gave birth and needs to rest. However, over time, they leave the new family to figure things out on their own when both her parents have to go to work. Eli practically lives at the LaRusso house now because he'll be damned if he leaves his little family ever. He's so sad when he has to go back to school because why would he do that? Why does he have to do that? But ever the diligent student, Eli caves and goes to school, only to learn shit with Cobra Kai has gotten bad and in all honesty, he'd forgotten about the dojo war. Of course, he did, he has a new baby at home and a girlfriend who literally just gave birth. He has better things to worry about, but he doesn't mind putting some Cobra bullies in their place while he's at school.

Sam, Moon, and Yasmine love the baby. She's just too cute not to love. Yasmine won't hold her because she's probably never held a baby in her life and the thought terrifies her. She will buy so many cute outfits for the baby girl though. She's so happy it's a girl because she buys little dresses that she'll have to grow into and other little outfits. Yasmine also buys matching outfits for Reader and Babygirl to wear because that's "so cute." Moon buys all sorts of stuff, from toys to baby books about the environment. She probably helped design the nursery with Sam in all honesty. And Sam just wants to hold her niece as much as possible. She loves being an aunt and rocking the little one. She literally gets up in the middle of the night if Babygirl is crying to take care of her because she loves her so much and her sister needs some sleep.

And while those three definitely spoil the baby, Daniel outshines them in that category in all honesty. Sure, there are some leftover toys and furniture from when Sam, Reader, and Anthony were babies, but he goes all out and buys his first grandbaby new toys and a crib because he thinks she deserves it. He and Eli put the whole nursery together, asking himself why Sam and Moon were bossing them around and telling them where to put everything. He is hard-pressed to put Babygirl down when he holds her because "no one loves her more than grandpa." He was buying so much, Amanda had to sit him down and tell him so stop because this is insanity; they didn't even spend as much on their own kids when one of them was born. He pouts about it as he's put on a limit but is still thinking about the next thing he's going to buy his granddaughter.

When Reader returns to school with her newborn, she gets to see firsthand what a shit show it's become, at least when it comes to her sister and their friends. Everyone else is pretty chill. A ton of people wanna meet the baby and she's kind to them and talks to them about how their older siblings have kids or they have baby cousins. It's a warm welcome.

As she gets used to going to school with Babygirl, her friends are right by her side. Eli or Sam had done a lot of her schoolwork she was missing, going back to teach it to her when she wasn't feeding Babygirl or sleeping. But now she has to start doing things on her own again, not that those two still aren't trying to help her. She refuses their offers to do her homework for her because she really does have to do it on her own. So, they just help with whatever else they can, and the same goes for the rest of their friends. Demetri pitches in to explain anything Reader needs help with in a subject he's superb in; Robby takes on his uncle role at school and does whatever Reader needs (usually Robby just wants to carry the diaper bag because he's still getting used to the baby, he's also a little awkward around babies and young children); Yasmine is moral support while Moon will happily take Babygirl off Reader's hands during her free period.

Their attention is completely diverted from CK and they ignore the opposing dojo a lot better with Babygirl around. The Cobras take notice and kind of don't do anything at school or when Reader is around. To cause violence or spit volatile words at the group when there's a baby around kind of goes way past what some of them are willing to do. Unless you're an idiot like Kyler, who doesn't care who is around or why it's wrong, because he's always right in his opinion.

This is when Aisha would start to come around again and Reader and Sam are very receptive to her presence. Reader would be so excited to introduce her baby girl to her longtime friend. Aisha gets to hold her and tells her how awesome her mom is. It really helps their friendship, which Reader never thought of as broken, just lost. Sam is so excited, she's taking pictures of everything as it happens. She's gonna turn into her dad with scrapbooks and photo albums, I swear.

As they start hanging out more, Aisha gets a lot of questions from the Cobras, mostly Tory and Miguel. Tory doesn't want to seem so interested in whatever the other dojo is doing but she really doesn't have a reason to be mad. Miguel hasn't mentioned Sam or the others in months, so really all she has to be mad at Sam for is being uppity and accusing her of stealing, which is so far in the past now it's barely a memory to either of them. So they're watching from afar as their supposed rivals and former friends all fuss over this adorable little baby.

Aisha finally asks if they want her to ask if it's okay if they hangout with them one night because they're gonna have a study/movie night (something they do to help the new parents get through school and relax a little). Tory and Miguel aren't entirely sure but Aisha asks anyway. At first, the MDs are a little apprehensive, but Reader is all for it. She happily says, "Sure, why not? They don't seem all that bad."

Eli is on edge because this is his former best friend Miguel and his girlfriend Tory who swore to hate them. He sits beside Reader the whole night and barely gets anything done because he's so worried about this being some scheme of CK's to get back at them for just being a rival dojo. However, as the evening goes on, he relaxes as they don't say or do anything malicious or scheming. Miguel is gushing over the baby and Tory is laidback with a smile as she watches him melt into the sappy guy she knows he is (because in CK under Kreese, he'd be a tough guy with a hard exterior). It's a nice change of pace for everyone.

In the middle of their study session, Daniel and Amanda come home and meet Miguel and Tory. They recognize Miguel from the AVT but Tory is pretty much new to them. They're welcoming because even though they are Cobras, Daniel sees the look Sam is giving him while Reader is cooing at Babygirl. He knows better than to say something to either of them even though he doesn't want any part of Cobra Kai in his home (sans Johnny who is trying to rebuild his relationship with Robby, who refuses to live with him and is still sleeping in the home dojo). Amanda walks away saying she'll order pizza for everyone and it's a great night for everyone.

Tory blows off her homework in favor of complaining about work and hating her job. She's tired of her boss being a creep and at hearing this, Miguel gets super protective and looks so mean. His Cobra is showing but she tells him to calm down because he knows she can take care of himself. He's still a little mad though because he just doesn't like hearing that women get treated badly by creepy bosses, especially his girlfriend. Reader suggests finding another job but Tory explains that it's not that easy because everyone wants something different from her.

Daniel can't help but overhear the conversation but doesn't do anything about it that night. He lets the teens enjoy their movie and pizza after their homework, the first movie a kids movie for Babygirl before Reader puts her to sleep upstairs and then they watch a movie everyone wants to watch.

The next time Tory comes over, he offers her that internship with pay. He talked about it with his daughters first, asking their opinion and if they'd be okay if Tory came to work for him. They were okay with it and he offers the position to Tory, who takes it only after asking a ton of questions - like if Reader put him up to this. He explains that this was all him and that everyone deserves to have second chances, then adds in how Eli works for him half-time to build workplace experience and give him some money to put away for other expenses down the line. The next week, Tory is wearing a nice dress and working under Amanda only to realize she doesn't like it that much and asks to be put in the shop where she can actually do something (mechanic!Tory anyone?). Daniel doesn't mind going in and working on cars with her and it's actually really nice, and he promises her that if anyone is creepy toward her, he'd beat them up himself before firing them.

It wouldn't be long after that, Miguel and Tory leave Cobra Kai with Aisha. They would start to see some things that just weren't right, and especially hearing some stories about Kreese from Daniel and Johnny. They'd apologize to Johnny for not listening to him and thinking he didn't know what he was talking about. They probably take a step back from karate for a bit until Aisha suggests they all join Miyagi-Do. It would be a welcome change for the teens and they'd happily do it.

Behind all the slice-of-life cuteness and warmth, Kreese is still building up Cobra Kai to his image of former glory. He'll still have people like Kyler and loyal Cobras under his thumb, and use his manipulation to recruit more students and later Terry Silver. A baby can bring a lot of people together but he swears it won't stop him. So what if that baby girl took away his best students? If they were persuaded by a baby, then they weren't strong enough to be in Cobra Kai anyway. So, unfortunately, Babygirl won't be enough to stop this all-out karate war...

After seeing Season 5 and the way Miguel beat up three different guys to protect Robby in the fight at the Cobra Kai dojo, I need more of protective Miguel over Robby, so here! It’s not a fic, more an outline xD

4 Times Miguel’s Protective Of Robby And 1 Time He Realises Why

1: Robby and a former Cobra Kai are sparring and the ex-Cobra gets way too aggressive and nearly crushes Robby’s leg. Miguel immediately intervenes and knocks him to the ground and really digs into him until Robby has to tell him to cool it and the guy apologises. Tory and Sam snicker in the background and Demetri hands Eli money. Robby spends the rest of the week thinking about that because no one’s ever protected him like that before, except Miguel. For Miguel it’s just another Tuesday xD

2: Miguel finds out Johnny didn’t tell Robby the purpose of the Mexico trip until they were already there and that leads to the loudest fight the entire apartment complex has heard, and that’s saying something. Miguel thinks it’s unfair to Robby that Johnny put him in that position without even telling him and yet again made him feel second to Miguel. Eventually he calms down after Robby pacifies him and Johnny’s impressed and kinda proud that his two sons are getting along so well that Miguel is even protecting Robby from JOHNNY. Yaya gives Miguel a knowing look and Robby a wink and they don’t know what she means but they oddly feel like they’ve been found out.

3: One of the guys from school asks Robby out and he’s so far removed from karate and Carmen tells him it’ll be nice to have a break from the constant training for the Sekai Taikai, so he accepts. Miguel doesn’t know why but he feels weirdly betrayed by his mom. He ends up recruiting Eli and Demetri to follow Robby on the date “just in case”, citing their newly formed friendship and brotherhood meaning he wants to keep him safe. Eli and Demetri exchange that look they always do when they’re communicating in their own way that no one else understands, but Miguel’s one-track mind lets it go. The date does end up going badly cuz the guy is really disrespectful and too touchy and the next day Miguel’s on TikTok for beating the guy within an inch of his life before Robby, Eli, AND Demetri all had to hold him back. The video shows up on Daniel’s For You page on his newly made TikTok and he can’t help but be glad that someone’s looking out for his mentee, because if anyone knows how rough Robby had it it’s Daniel.

4: It’s movie night at the Diaz-Lawrence household and, after an exhausting game of Monopoly where Johnny nearly throws the board out the window when he starts losing, Miguel and Robby end up on the kitchen table together once everyone’s gone to sleep. They start talking about their childhoods and Miguel learns things about Robby’s that he half-figured but never wanted to think about when he was supposed to hate him. But now, seeing the kid who spent his childhood cooking for himself in dingy apartments and having to sweep up broken shards of the bottles of beer his mom or her newest boyfriend would leave on the ratty carpets, the kid who fell in with the wrong crowd too many times and got taken advantage of, the kid who was alone and didn’t have Johnny around…Miguel can’t help himself, he hugs Robby, a full-body hug, for the first time, and says he won’t let anything or anyone hurt him again. And Robby’s pretty sure he forgets how to breathe.

+1: Of course they don’t figure it out on their own. It takes separate interventions from their friends AND their senseis (yes, even Johnny figured it out eventually….ok, Daniel may have had to give him an intervention first) for Miguel to figure out he has feelings for Robby. And maybe that overprotectiveness wasn’t just brotherly love and friendship. And when he comes to this epiphany, it takes another full week for him to stop babbling nonsense when he sees Robby and finally ask him out. Fortunately for him, Robby likes him back, and fortunately for everyone else, they can finally exchange their money for the bets for when they’ll start dating😌

Cobra Kai Season 6 PT 1

(discussion/rant???)

- seeing as i did a rant over cobra kai season 5 on here, it’s only fitting that i do the same for part one of season 6!

🐍- as only one half of the season has been released, it wouldn’t really be fair to form a stalemate opinion on what i’ve seen so far. i didn’t hate it, i didn’t dislike it, i didn’t love it - it was just fine. in my opinion, it didn’t have the same exciting vibe as the previous seasons, not sure what it was but it just felt like something was missing. i’m hoping part 2 will feel different.

pregnancy storyline - my opinion on this storyline has and will not change. i still find it unnecessary, i still find it predictable and i still believe the trope ruins any book or movie that it’s worked into. however, that being said, it’s been interesting to see johnny’s character development this season. he’s fully embracing the whole pregnancy and baby vibe and it is pretty sweet to see.

johnny - like i said, it’s been interesting to see johnny’s characters development this season. i really liked the version of johnny we got to see. he got a job!!, he and daniel worked well together (in brief moments), he was supportive of both robby and miguel and he encouraged and supported devon. it was nice to see him getting his life together.

kreese - he’s a wanted man. how did he manage to travel to two different countries? UNDETECTED????

mr miyagi - i was a little baffled by the mr miyagi storyline. it’s so great that they still include him and talk about him because he was such a vital character in the karate kid movies, but i’m not exactly sure where they plan on taking this storyline?? i wonder if maybe mr miyagi used to train/work with sensei kim’s grandfather? we obviously saw that he entered the Sekai Taikai tournament so maybe they entered together?

daniel - ugh he was low-key irritating. miyagi do is supposed to be a partnership between eagle fang and miyagi do, however it just seems like it’s purely miyagi do. i feel they could’ve merged the names and become miyagi fang? i get he wants peace but he was basically causing rifts with johnny for the most stupidest of things. hoping he does better in part 2.

tory - the way no one ran after her when she walked out of miyagi do?? not even robby, her boyfriend?? everyone knew her mum was the only family she had (besides her brother) so i cant believe they just left her to fend for herself and grieve alone. honestly i don’t blame her for joining cobra kai again. it’s hard to say whether she would’ve won the female captaincy if she stayed at miyagi do but she definitely would’ve ended up hurting sam during the fight. i loved the friendship she and sam were forming so hopefully she comes back to miyagi do and they become friends again.

hawk - no WAY did the former all valley male champion not get into the final six for the Sekai Taikai on default. i was so shocked when hawk didn’t get into the group automatically with tory, sam, miguel and robby. and then he only got a place because tory quit like whatttttt! he’s one of the strongest fighters in my opinion, miles better than devon and demetri.

demetri - irritating. never stopped yapping about MIT. thinks he’s the shit. i usually like him but not this season.

kyler- nice to see character development from kyler because he was an absolute prick in the other seasons. he’s still cringe but was cool to see him getting along with miguel and the others.

devon/kenny - devon was annoying, i get the Sekai Taikai is a once in a lifetime opportunity but practically begging for a spot isn’t a good look. she needs to believe in herself and needs to stop worrying about how good others are around her. and the cheating to get into the tournament! like if she can’t win fairly at the challenge to get into tournament, how is she gonna be decent at the tournament at all. kenny deserved that chance to go to the Sekai Taikai, he’s a much stronger and aggressive fighter and it would’ve been perfect for him to show his real potential. i can’t believe the writers made him shit himself and look like an idiot.

so overall, i liked the season so far but i wasn’t overly amazed with it. as always the karate fight scenes were amazing! and this is not hating on the show or the actors this is just me giving my opinion.

[ MIGUEL DIAZ ] POST BREAK-UP KISSES

cw. miguel asks for a second chance after kissing sam at moon’s party. [angst with open/happy ending] notes. i got kinda carried away with this one but it’s okay wc. 3K

MIGUEL DIDN’T LIKE IT. He didn't like the way Robby's arm seemed to fit around your shoulders perfectly. He didn't like the way Tory laughed and buried her head in your shoulder every time Robby told the two of you a joke. He didn't like the fact that you were sitting there, on a table with them instead of him. No, Miguel didn't like this at all.

He watched as you spun an empty bottle of diet coke, grinning at Robby, who was still recovering from shoving three chilli peppers into his mouth. The bottle seemed to take its time, it kept spinning for a few seconds before finally landing on you.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Well, dare, obviously,"

Tory looked around the room, trying to find a suitable dare after you'd told her to do three cartwheels in the middle of the lounge. Finally, her eyes locked with Sam's. The sinister grin that found its way onto Tory's face made his stomach drop. Something was about to go horribly wrong...

Tory smirked; "I have the perfect dare," You gave her a confused look, something about her tone was off. "I dare you to sing a song of my choosing." Miguel looked at the small karaoke stand next to their table, what was she planning?

"what, no— I... that's embarrassing," you protested, “that’s embarrassing!” Tory just shrugged, “I’ll do it with you.” Miguel watched you give Tory a look before sighing and agreeing in defeat; “I guess a dare’s a dare…” Tory quickly whispered something in Robby’s ear, something that made him grin like a maniac.

The three of you stood up, and while you and Tory walked towards the karaoke stand, Robby made his way to the bartender. Soon enough the mics were connected and music started playing. Miguel saw you say something to Tory and her agreeing. 

“Now go stand in the corner and think about what you did”  “Ha, time for a little revenge”

“The story starts when it was hot and it was summer And, I had it all I had him right there where I wanted him She came along, got him alone, and let's hear the applause She took him faster than you could say sabotage”

“I never saw it coming, wouldn't have suspected it I underestimated just who I was dealing with She had to know the pain was beating on me like a drum She underestimated just who she was stealing from”

Miguel watched in fascination as you and Tory stood on the small foundation that could barely be called a stage. You were rolling your eyes at Tory’s song choice, the blonde just laughed as she sang along to the song. Miguel listened to the lyrics, thinking back to the evening of Moon’s summer party. The evening he lost you.

“Miguel, look!” You said as the two of you walked down the street towards Moon’s house. It was warm outside for 8 pm, the stars were starting to show and there was a light cold breeze. 

Miguel watched you as you walked in front of him, pulling him along with your hands, you pointed to the bright constellation of stars. “That’s Taurus,” You said happily pointing to a cluster of stars, “That’s your zodiac.” Miguel laughed at you, “You don’t actually believe in that, right?” 

You stopped in your tracks, crossing your arms with a huff, “Rude,” you said, staring at your boyfriend, “I happen to check my horoscope every week.” Miguel rolled his eyes, “Oh, and what’s so believable about a bunch of stars telling you your personality?” Truth be told; Miguel didn’t care if you believed in it all, but seeing you get so worked up about it made him laugh.

“Well, how about…” You put your hand under your chin, to show you were thinking about it, “Oh, I know, according to our zodiac’s we’re extremely compatible!” Miguel grinned and pulled you closer by your belt loops, putting a hand under your chin, “I don’t need the stars to tell me that,” He leaned in and kissed you, you quickly kissed him back resting your arms on his shoulders. The two of you pulled away, but he kept you in place, moving his hands to your waist he put his forehead against yours.

“Hey, lovebirds!” Hawk shouted from the entrance, “Are you gonna come in or should I send your drinks outside?!” 

The two of you pulled away, rolling your eyes at him. “We’re coming, we’re coming,” Miguel replied, lacing his fingers in yours and pulling you along with him to the door. “Finally, took you long enough,” Hawk says moving away front the door, “The party started an hour ago.” You grinned at him, “The party doesn’t start until I arrive,” You said smugly, “Tell that to Larusso and Nichols who are holding a drinking battle outside,” Hawk replied laughing.

You moved away from Miguel to greet Moon and her girlfriend while he went to get the two of you some drinks. You walked around the party, your eyes falling onto Demetri and Hawk, shyly discussing Doctor Who, you smiled– maybe there was hope for those two– The peaceful moment was quickly interrupted by loud cheers. Your eyes moved towards the pool where Tory and Sam were in fact having a drinking battle. 

“Tory!” You shouted, waving to your friend as you made your way through the crowd. She just grinned back at you, “Hey, [Y/N/N] you’re just in time to watch me destroy this loser!” Sam scoffed, gulping down her drink, “You wish, Nichols!” Tory smiled, “Sorry, Princess, you can’t win this by demanding it from Mommy and Daddy.” 

You rolled your eyes, of course you knew about what had happened at the beach house and why Tory disliked Sam, but you didn’t want your friend hurting herself, “Tory, how many drinks have you had?” you asked looking at her, the blonde shrugged; “I dunno like four… maybe six?” 

“She’s had nine,” Robby said from next to you, “Sam’s had eight.” You went to pull Tory down, but Miguel– who’d appeared next to you– stopped you, shaking his head, “Let them do it, it’ll get them over the dumb feud,” You wanted to protest but before you could say anything both girl fell from the chairs.

Robby quickly rushed over to catch Sam, and Miguel caught Tory, “Bath–...Bathroom,” Tory managed to get out, before covering her mouth with her hand. You understood and grabbed her hands, signalling to Miguel that you would meet him later. 

You pulled your friend to Moon’s nearest bathroom, leaving your boyfriend and his ex alone by the pool.

Miguel watched you walk away, and looked down at the two cups beside him, I guess those have to wait… He decided to sit down next to Aisha and make some small talk while he waited for you. After a while, when you still hadn’t shown up, he stood up, said goodbye to Aisha and went inside to look for you. 

He walked around the main hall, and then went outside to the nearly empty pool area. The party had started to die down, or everybody had made their way to the front lawn. HE sighed, the two of you had decided to skip on date night for this, and now the entire night had gone by and you two hadn’t talked since Hawk interrupted you little moment on the front porch.

“Hey…” 

Miguel turned around at the all too familiar voice, “Hey, Sam?” “Miguel, I wanted to talk…” Sam said softly. Miguel thought about it, he couldn’t find you and he didn’t feel like going back inside. “Sure, what about?” She took a step closer to him, fiddling with the ends of her sweater. “About the break-up,” she took another step, they were now standing toe-to-toe. Miguel knew he should take a step back– No, he needed to walk away as soon as she said that sentence– but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. 

“We shouldn't have done it,” Sam said, looking up at him with big brown doe-eyes. Miguel's breath hitched, for a second it felt like his heart had stopped. “We could’ve worked through it, it was a misunderstanding,” Sam said, Miguel stayed silent. “We can still work through it…?” Miguel felt like there was a question mark at the end of that sentence. And really he didn’t know the answer.

“Sam…” Miguel said he didn’t know how to finish that sentence, “I don’t… I don’t know…” Sam seemed to take this as a sign that there was still a part of him that wanted her back. And she took a leap of faith and kissed him. Miguel froze. He knew he should push her away, but again he couldn’t. The memory of their first date, of Senõr Octopus, flashed in his head, and he did the unthinkable. He kissed her back. 

It was a brief moment, one that was soon interrupted by the sound of police sirens. The two pulled away quickly, looking at each other for a second, before Miguel took a step back, then two, and the three. He turned on his heels and ran without another word. He doesn’t quite remember what happened after that, except for the sound of police sirens; the look on your face from behind the window, a clear sign you’d seen everything; and him running down three streets chasing after you.

“Miguel!” 

The brunette looked away from you still standing on the stage, although it seemed like the song was about to end. “Where did you go, man?” Hawk asks, laughing at his best friend. Demetri was gone, probably getting drinks for them. And Sam was having a one-sided staring contest with the two girls now walking off of the stage. 

Tory high-fived Robby, as you laughed, giving her a light shove. The three of you returned to your table, the one that was only two tables away from theirs. Hawk followed his gaze, “Oh,” he said in realisation, “That’s where you went…” Same seemed to snap out of her daze, giving him a look. “I’ll be back,” Miguel said, standing up, “Miguel?” Sam said, hoping he would stay at the table, but no, the brunet was determined to set things straight.

He made his way over to your table, where you’d made yourself comfortable in the booth with a virgin mojito in hand and Tory’s head placed on your shoulder. 

“Can we talk?” 

“Hello to you too, Miguel.”

You looked up at him, and took a sip of your drink. “Hey,” he replied impatiently, “Can we talk?” You shrugged, “Sure, what do you wanna talk about?” Miguel’s eyes went from Tory to Robby and then back to you, “Alone.” Before you could reply Robby interrupted, “Anything you wanna say in private you can say in front of us,” Robby said, placing a protective arm over your shoulder. 

But Miguel didn’t care about what he said, he continued to look at you, waiting for your answer. You looked at your friend and then at the mojito in your hand. “Fine, you have five minutes,” You gave in, standing up.

Miguel grinned, “Don’t make that face,” you said, walking with him, “It’s just five minutes.”

The two of you made your way out of the lounge, away from the people and stench of alcohol. You crossed your arms, trying to warm yourself with friction. You rubbed your hands on your arms. Miguel smiled, you were wearing a knee length red sundress. He remembered it well, you’d gotten it as a christmas present from your grandparents and you’d said you couldn’t wait until it was summer to wear it.

“Well, are you going to say anything?” You said, “Or are you planning to stare at me for five minutes?” Miguel nodded, “I just wanted to talk about what happened at the party,” You rolled your eyes, “You mean the party where you decided to kiss your ex that you convinced me you were completely, 100 percent over?” Miguel winced at your tone, but he knew he deserved it.

“I– I don’t have an excuse for what happened–” 

“Good, I wasn’t planning on accepting one.” 

“I just wanted to apologise–”

“I think I got that after you sent me 50 messages and 20 missed calls.”

You were clearly still mad about it, understandably. You continued rubbing your arms and tapped your foot as a sign of impatience. Miguel took off his jacket and held it out to you. You eyed it before taking it from him, “I’m only taking it because it goes with the outfit,” You said, putting on the black denim jacket. Miguel laughed, “Of course,” he said nodding gravely, with a grin placed on his face. 

“Is that all you wanted to say?” You asked, pulling the jacket over your body like an English teacher. Miguel’s face went back to serious, “I miss you.” You seemed taken aback by the comment. You’d expected a lot of things when you walked out the lounge; apologies, excuses, maybe even some tears, but you hadn’t expected him to say those words outright.

“I miss you, and I was stupid, and I made a horrible mistake, and I shouldn't have kissed Sam, and I’m sorry and I want you back and… and…” He stopped not really knowing how to continue. 

You looked at him scanning his face, taking a step closer to him, you sighed, you would be lying if you said you hadn’t missed him as well. “I missed you too,” You said, and a happy expression crossed his face but you were quick to shut it down, “But you were wrong and I don’t forgive you.”

“What can I do to make you forgive me?” He asked, pleading eyes, he would’ve done anything in that moment anything you’d asked of him. “I don’t know Miguel,” You said shaking your head, “You hurt me and I– I don’t know if I can forgive you yet…” “Please I’ll do anything, I want you to forgive me,” He took a step closer to you, but you turned your head away from him. Hoping the action would somehow stop the tear welling up in your eyes from falling. 

“I don’t know okay, I just– I just don’t trust you anymore,” You said wiping away the tears that had started to fall, “I don’t know if any of it was real, I–” “Of course it was real,” Miguel said, holding onto you, his hand placed on your arms, “All of it was real,” he said leaning down looking at you, “Kissing Sam was a mistake, I realised that as soon as it happened.” You shook your head, “No– No,” you said, “You shouldn't need to kiss her to realise you like me,” you looked into his eyes, big brown beautiful eyes, “You– You should’ve known it before, if… if it takes you kissing another girl to realise you like me, I’d rather you not like me at all.”

Miguel shook his head, "No, don't say that," He said grabbing your arms softly. He leaned down, trying to make eye contact, “Please... Don’t say that.”

The two of you stood there for a second, both of you unsure of what to do next. Miguel let his hands fall into your and leaned down. You two stood there for a few seconds, taking in each other.

“I’m sorry... for everything.”

“I know.”

You were the one to pull away first. The two of you stared into each others eyes. Oh they were so comforting... Taken in by the moment Miguel leaned in and so did you.

You stood there, standing on you tip-toes hands in his hair, his arms wrapped around your waist, lips colliding feverishly. And for the first time in months, everything felt right.

Miguel was the one who pulled away first; eyes wide, cheshire cat grin on his face, hair even more messed up than it already was. You stared at him, lips a little open from shock, lipstick a little smudged and a few forgotten tears still falling down your face. 

He placed his hands on your face, wiping away the tears that were still falling and you mirrored actions, a small giggle escaped your lips as the two of you stood there hands on each other’s faces both looking like messes.

At first Miguel gave you a weird look before he started laughing as well. And just like that the two of you were laughing in each others arms, and all the tension that had built up in the last two months was gone.

“I missed you, so much,” Miguel repeated, this time thourgh laughs instead of tears. And all of a sudded you remembered why you loved being with him so much, why you loved him so much. Being with him was simple, easy, it felt right.

You laughed into his chest, as a grin split onto your face. When was the last time you’d laughed like this? Miguel pulled away, grabbing your face again and placing a kiss on your lips.

You gave him a smile, a genuine one, and took a step back. “We should probably go back inside,” You say turning around, trying– and failing– to compose yourself.

Miguel grabbed your hand from behind and twirled you around, “Wait!” he said, “Let’s do this properly.” You tilt your head slightly to the right, and scrunch your eyebrows together in confusion. 

“Let’s go on a date,” He suggests, “You, me, milkshakes at Denny this Saturday,” took a step towards her, “Like we used to do.”

You think about it for a second, were you ready to forgive him? One look at unsure smile on his face and you know the answer.

“Okay,” You say, smiling widely at him, and without another word you turn back around pushing the doors to the lounge open, Miguel following closely behind you.

'Cause I think that's the way they're gonna keep the story going for Kwon/Tory/Robby (at least it would be the most logical approach)

However, I don't want the part of "lying to my face" being true for Kwon. Robby really needs to wake up and fight for Tory's love, can't take her for granted when she's always been there for him:

She protected him from all the things Kreese was plotting against Silver by not saying him a word and endure the consequences when she was forced to break that solid stone.

Yes, Robby did good things for Tory too as worrying about her when she was sad because of her job, but at the same time there had been moments where he really pissed me off:

In season 5 when she wouldn't leave Cobra Kai he immediately assumed it was because she was enjoying herself being a champion and didn't stop to think for a second that maybe she couldn't leave because other reasons (hello? You know CK, you've been there, you know how awful they can be). Didn't ask her either, just told her "or Cobra Kai or me" and broke up with her in that very moment leaving her ALONE IN A PARKING LOT!!

Yes, he then went alone and defied Silver when he talked to all the CK students including Tory ("I should have taken you all with me"), but that was AFTER Tory went to Sam and revealed she had been plotting with Kreese all along against Silver's CK..........

Then in season 6 he kind of forced her to be friends with Sam and Miguel (her ex who cheated on her... yes, I don't forget that he wasn't the one drunk that night -.- and still kissed other girl) in the weirdest, most uncomfortable double date possible. ALL WHILE LEAVING HER ALONE A COUPLE TIMES because he wanted to talk to Kenny.

And we arrive at the moment where Tory's mom dies. It's true that he called her again and again and sent her a lot of messages... But if my girlfriend disappears FOR DAYS and doesn't even go to high school and had already told me that the FREAKING PSYCHOPATH of her old sensei has been trying to get closer to her... IDK, maybe... I CALL THE POLICE???? Or run immediately to her house as I know her mother is sick and she's a teen alone with her little brother???

And that last part makes me think (but I know this is just the writer's laziness): why does Robby act like an older brother to Anthony and not to Brandon??? Why did we never have a scene with them bonding? Anyways, as I say, that's lazy writing, so this point I will leave it out.

So, with all that said:

Robby doesn't deserve Tory at this point of the series. And it really breaks my heart because I ship them and I see that they can make each other really happy.

However, they're both growing up. And Tory's mom death has been an awakening for her I think... The nice boy with charming eyes that dances with you at Prom isn't enough for enduring the most difficult part of your life.

Tory didn't say to the nurse "THERE'S NO ONE" because of egoism. It's because she really feels that she's alone in the world. Can we blame her? Would you pick up the phone to the boy who leaves you alone everytime something too complicated occupies his mind? (Kenny, Miyagi Do, the captain place to go to the Sekai Taikai...) If he had left you on your own so many times??

I'll wait and watch part 2 to judge the reason why he didn't even notice she had come back to Cobra Kai and was so shocked when he already knew Kreese was searching for her.

If the reason was "I was busy training and thought you were mourning alone at your house and didn't wanna talk to anyone".......... I'm afraid I'll have to say goodbye to this ship </3

Robby needs to fight for her love. But by that I don't mean winning against Kwon. That's just stupid. Tory's not the price. To win her back he will have to proof himself worthy of her, being there for her when she loses, when she cries for her mother, when she's so angry she only wants to fight everybody, when she's so scared because she has nowhere to go... JUST BE THERE, ROBERT, it's not that complicated!!!!! And above everything, DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE HER for coming back to the only place she knows she and her emotions will be accepted and valued T-T

Tattoos weren’t a foreign concept to either of them. Tori had gotten her anti-possession tattoo long before she met Dean and Sam, and she’d been in the hunting life long before that. But her body was peppered with ink outside of the mark of protection etched into the spot above her hip bone. She’d always found the process relaxing, a little ritual of selfcare; selfcare that involved a bunch of tiny needles penetrating her skin at an inordinate speed. Even Dean, who shied away from very little, cringed when he joined her in getting her anti-possession tat touched up. But she knew, despite him cringing during the process, that he loved her tattoos. Perhaps a little too much even.

Tori had been wanting to get a new tat for a while, had been shopping around for artists in the Lebanon area who could pull off what she wanted and met her standards. After months of getting quotes and looking at the various artists' portfolios, she’d settled on one. Miraculously, she’d managed to keep the nature of her tattoo a secret, the location and the design all a mystery to him despite his incessant questioning. She even refused to let him come along, saying it was a surprise, placating him with a kiss and a promise to show him when she got back. 

Dean wasn’t sure what to expect, but it didn’t involve Tori being gone overnight. Clearly whatever it was, the tattoo she was getting was an involved process. She’d been so damn secretive about it and it was driving him up the walls probably more than it should have. The anticipation, not just to see the tattoo, but to have her back in his arms was killing him. Sam had just vacated the Bunker, going to visit Eileen and her family for the weekend leaving Dean to his own devices, aimlessly wandering the bookshelves in the library when he heard the door whine as it opened before clanging shut again.

“Sammy?” Dean called out, dragging his fingers along the leather and cloth spines. 

“Try again.” Tori called back and Dean felt his heart skip in his chest as he emerged from the stacks to see her coming down the stairs.

“Hey, Sweetheart.” Dean smiled as she met him halfway amongst the long oak tables. “Welcome back.”

“Thank you, my love.” Tori returned his grin, dropping her backpack to the ground.

As Dean went to wrap her into a hug, she gently pressed a hand to his chest. “Just be gentle, yeah? I’m still sore.”

In his excitement for her return, Dean had nearly forgotten why Tori was gone in the first place. He still wrapped his arms around her, burying his face into her neck, breathing her in. Tori, in turn, slid her arms around him, smoothing her hands up the planes of his back. Dean pulled back, pecking a kiss to her lips as he cupped the side of her face. 

“Can I finally see now?” He asked, as giddy as a child on Christmas. 

Tori rolled her eyes, smiling as she nodded. “I suppose. Though it’s not like you’ve been a patient boy.”

Dean scoffed. “Screw you, Tor.”

Tori giggled and Dean’s eyes went wide as she gripped the hem of her loose t-shirt, which Dean realized was one of his, and pulled it over her head.

“Tor, you only flash me when we are fighting. I wasn’t being serious when I-” Dean stopped mid joke as she gave him a knowing smile, turning around, pulling her hair to the side.

Dean felt his jaw go slack, but he couldn’t be bothered to care. God, I love women. The expanse of her back had been adorned with flowing lines and shading across her olive skin. It was beautiful, a line of flowers sprawled from her shoulder across her back to curl, stopping along the curve of where her waist became her hips. And in the middle, nestled amongst the flowers, was a moth, all of it done in black and white.

His mouth went dry at the same time Dean felt his jeans become just a little too tight. The absolutely breathtaking woman and artwork before him had him speechless, a veritable map along her curves, leading him along roads he thought he knew all the ways to navigate. He about came undone then and there as Tori looked over her shoulder, brown eyes sparkling under a rim of thick lashes. 

Her brows furrowed, turning around to face him. “Do you not like it?”

She must have interpreted his expression as a negative one, but in truth he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. Dean swallowed thickly, dragging his gaze from her bare chest to her face.

“God no.” Dean rasped. “I fucking love it. And here I was thinking you couldn’t get anymore irresistible.”

Tori flicked her tongue over her lips before she smiled cheekily. “Yeah?”

“Fuck yeah, Sweetheart.” Dean motioned for her to turn back around. 

Tori ran her finger across the table as Dean stepped forward, looking more closely at the design. When CBS‘ NCIS: Hawai’i resumes its third season this Monday at 10/9c, the “honeymoon” is over for Special Agent Lucy Tara.

Having gone undercover as “newlyweds” with partner Kate Whistler ahead of the island drama’s three-week break, Lucy finds herself very much in the thick of things when her assignment to protect a visiting Russian VIP takes all kinds of turns.

TVLine spoke with Yasmine Al-Bustami about what this season’s fifth episode (of 10) will reveal about Lucy and what sort of punches the eventual season finale will pack. Plus, we get the actress’ thoughts on the Jesus drama The Chosen Season 4 lighting up silver screens.

TVLINE | What is Special Agent Lucy Tara up to this week? Oh, she always gets herself into some trouble, which I feel like she likes — though this time she wasn’t even trying to get into trouble, I will say! She’s detailing this Russian lady who is visiting the island, and she does not want to be on the mission because, on surface-level, it’s just boring. Like, she would rather be doing other things. This lady [Tatiana] would be considered Russian “royalty,” in a way, but she’s very controversial, so when she gets onto the island you see that she does not have fans. She’s met with resistance, and Lucy gets into some trouble with her.

TVLINE | Lucy gets to express some opinions about this lady she’s protecting along the way, which I thought was quite enjoyable. So many opinions. She does not hold back and says it to her face. She definitely lets her know that she is also not a fan.

TVLINE | As Lucy and Tatiana interact, we get a bit more information about Lucy’s family back home. Did you appreciate that aspect of the episode? I loved it. I don’t know if Lucy appreciated it [Laughs], but for me, personally, I love anytime we learn about Lucy’s background and family history because she tries really hard to keep it quiet. She doesn’t really share much or open up too much, even to the people closest to her, unless someone happens to find out something if they do some digging. It’s not like Lucy is willingly sharing this information, so she is taken aback when this lady that she is protecting, Tatiana, all of a sudden is throwing at Lucy every little, small detail about Lucy’s family.

TVLINE | Any “firsts” for you as an actress in this particular episode? Driving in a Humvee! That was a blast. I really tried to be in there when… there’s a stunt that happens… but they said no. But we took it out into the jungle and were driving up on cliffs and everything.

There’s also a fight in the jungle. We’ve done fights before, but I’ve never done it on this kind of a terrain, where it was rainy and muddy and messy. For me, that’s more fun when it’s not a clean fight. I like it to be a little dirty.

TVLINE | What can you tease about anything else going on in the episode, regarding Kai and/or NCIS Elite? Oh, yes! We find out a bit more about NCIS Elite. Obviously, Sam (played by LL Cool J) has been a part of the team and some of us are still trying to figure out what he’s doing on the island, why he’s here, what his whole role is.

TVLINE | Not that we don’t love having him and his $200 Henleys around. [Laughs] Some people have a bit more of a problem with it than Lucy does. Lucy couldn’t care less, she’s like whatever, it’s fine, he’s not bothering me. And then with Kai (Alex Tarrant)…

TVLINE | Were there any outtakes from the “newlyweds” episode, any hijinks that you and Tori [Anderson] got up to that didn’t make it on-camera? I feel like that’s always the case. It’s so funny you ask, because me and Alex, who plays Kai, were talking about that just the other day, saying how we would love to see bloopers because we just did something that was so silly and yet we had to look all cool and everything. We were like, “If people only saw!”

One thing [from the “newlyweds” episode] that I am thinking of specifically…. We had a bunch of outdoor scenes, me and Tors, and usually if we’re outdoors we have our hair up because we’re on a mission or something, but our hair was down and so the wind was all over the place, blowing everything. So having to deal with that became a funny thing.

TVLINE | This week there’s a reference to Lucy and Kate going home to cuddle and watch “reality-TV.” What shows do you think they cue up? Love Is Blind. I feel like I could throw that out there….

TVLINE | Switching topics to The Chosen: Did you feel like that show “blew up” a bit once it started airing on The CW? Were you feeling some extra love, some extra attention? I mean, I was already feeling it beforehand, because the fans of that show are so loving and so warm. It was already an outpouring of love. So, I feel like there was more of that support than anything. The CW allowed the show to get more eyes on it, which opened it up to a broader audience, which I thought was really cool because that creates more types of conversations. They are talking about it not as just a religious show but as a good show, and that was a different kind of conversation to have.

TVLINE | When it started on The CW, I gave the people at my church a heads-up and now about a half-dozen of them are hooked. Every week at coffee hour, it’s like the first topic. Oh man, that’s so cool!

TVLINE | What’s been your biggest takeaway from your experience on The Chosen? Oh my gosh, it’s such a huge experience for me, especially since it’s a different kind of production than NCIS — that alone is really cool. Like, it’s just so indie and on-the-ground and in-the-trenches. I feel like I’ve grown up with it and to see how its grown and what its made of itself, and along with the people, a lot of the people are still the same… It’s just so cool to be part of something like that from the very beginning and not even be thinking, “Oh, hey guys, [when filming] Season 3, beginning of 4, we’re going to start airing on The CW.” Had no idea. Or that we’re going to air Season 4 in theaters. That was just not on anyone’s radar at all. Instead in the very beginning it was like, “Oh, we have this app. You can watch it on the app.”

TVLINE | What are you hearing about the NCIS: Hawai’i finale? What’s the gossip? Ohhhhhh, there’s so much gossip. It’s going to be a two-parter — I love those for sure, just selfishly — and today [Thursday] is our first day filming the last episode. So, there’s a lot of action, there is death….

TVLINE | I just hope nobody gets shot in the forehead like Charlie 1. I know. It was so gruesome. Oh my gosh, we love Linc [Hand]. If there was a way to bring him back….
