being soft with you is like their reward to themselves for torturing people so well lmfao. like, they did so good making those people's last moments agonizing and now they get to cuddle up with you <3 washes off their hands and your face, bundles you up real close to them, gets to lay in all the nice soft warmth now.

to keep you up to date

1. fully made Charlie's outfit from the battle scene from the last episode (including the dress, gloves, crown, horns, tail, and even her trident for poses). perhaps i'll post it today

2. currently working on updating both blitzø's and alastor's coats — i made blitzø's coat compatible with necklaces (replaced the texture of the collar to a different place, so now if you have any pose props in necklace category, you'll be able to use them!), fixed the LODS, deleted extra vertices, and got rid of the deformation on the gloves that happens when your sim moves their hands (still need to test everything all over again to make sure that all issues are gone, and that's quite an annoying and repetitive process);

when it come to alastor's coat, the issue i saw is related to the way it morphs with the body (sometimes creating weird gaps in between two sub-meshes and i know that sounds super weird if you know nothing about how clothes in sims are made but trust me that's a pain in the ass)

3. i'm also currently updating Vaggie's outfit, cause i noticed some people have this weird right sleeve deformation plus the texture is pixilated a bit plus there's SOMEWHY between the cloth and sim's chest plus... well, you got that, there's a lot of issues woth Vaggie's dress sadly lol but they're quite easily to fix NOW THAT I KNOW EXACTLY HOW BLENDER WORKS LMFAO cause honestly when i just started creating stuff for the sims i had absolutely no idea what i was doing 💀

4. i've seen lots of people asking about Huskerdust and !!! im currently working on both

the thing is, they're probably the most complicated ones (plus Stolas cause MY GOD HIS CAPE IS A TORTURE) as Husk is, well, a CAT and except for using the furry mod — i have no idea how to make him; and when it comes to Angel WELL.... HE HAS FOUR HANDS. AND YES. IM MAKING HIS SUIT WITH ALL OF THE FOUR HANDS. yes i hate myself

i will try to make them both a priority as i'm done with the stuff i described above

So, nothing currently for fic, but for art I am trying to come up with a concept for a sticker design to print a zillion of and hand out at Red Rocks this year (and if I have any left over I'll mail them to whoever asks, for the cost of postage). Something World Enders or Phantom Riders. Sticker design is NOT my forte but I am committed to trying.

Plot? I would like to cultivate having a plot. Or at least endings. LMFAO look everything I've written is mostly because I have a scene in my head that I want to put in words, but there's not really any story to it, no conclusive satisfying way to wrap it up, so what happens is I write what I want to write and then flail around as I wing the rest. That whole beginning, middle, and end thing? I just want to write the middle part. I need to make a habit of planning out the rest lmfao.

No.... lmao. I just want to sink deeper into weird fiction and 1960s LA period cosmic horror. Roll me in it. Bury me in it. Torture some characters with it and watch their poor minds grapple with it.

I am BLISSFULLY FREE of projects right now other than I think making an upcoming map for a book on bird research in Latin America but that's like, one piece of work and not a full on project. I'm sure there will be some one-off art commissions that pop up but I'm looking forward to this being a chill year where I can have more fun with fanfic and fanart, especially given we hopefully have a new album coming soon!

whats your favorite candle scent?

oh i have smelled many a candle in my day, but my absolute favorite candle has to be this tri-tiered candle by WoodWicks. it has three different scents in the candle but they all go together because they have the same... smell flavors? i’m not a savant in describing smell so i hope that makes sense. the three scents are Fireside, Redwood, and Sandalwood Clove and together they make the Trilogy Warm Woods candle and with the wooden wick, the flame crackles nicely and oh i miss being able to have scented candles but alas I have a little bird who cannot have such things around. But basically, the candle smells like a sweet smoky campfire! and that is my favorite scent in the world, and the fact they manage it in a candle is just amazing.

favorite movie?

i am very fond of the horror genre, mostly because i have a hypercritical eye of the media i consume, mostly movies, because I have always wanted to work in movie business. my dream was to be a screen writer (bc i write quite a lot and wrote scripts for a play in theater) or a cinematographer, so i’ve done a lot of research on how movies work in terms of camera work, effects and all of that. i say all of this so you know i am very,,, harsh when it comes to movies.

that being said i have 3 movies i would consider to be favorites and one of them i could point out to be my favorite and it is not the best one out of those three lmao.

Oldboy (2003) do not mix it up with the remake, the remake is awful. this is a very VERY good movie, very technically competent, and has a very good story. I would say this is one of the best movies i, as a film buff, have ever seen.

Martyrs (2008) also do not mix this one up with the remake, this movie is not for the faint of heart, very bloody, it’s ... basically torture p*rn in my opinion. it’s fucked up. do your research about it before watching it if you do. this movie kind of lacks a bit in the visuals and effects in some parts, (that’s if youre paying attention and not getting completely squicked out by what’s happening) but also a very competent movie, with an interesting plot and a very compelling ending that shook me to my core. it actually took me watching it twice to understand the gravity of what it meant lmao

Scream (1996) i mean i don’t have to say much about this movie as most people have seen it and it is a classic. this is what i would say is my favorite movie out of all three just because of the character development through the movie and the entertainment value. if you haven’t seen it, i definitely recommend you do. even if you’re not a horror fan, it’s worth the watch, it’s really not scary, it’s technically a slasher flick and they almost exclusively use practical effects so it’s just fake blood everywhere. lmao i think it’s on netflix right now. 

i have so much ghost face memorabilia i literally have a ghost face mask hanging behind me and i commissioned this like three-foot tall poster that’s holographic and beautiful i framed it with a big fancy frame too lmfao

OMG SO the animated shows are actually good, and unironically LEGO batman & under the red hood are SUCH good movies! but if we’re talking live action? complete TRASH they suck SO MUCH ASS BRO! how are you gonna butcher your characters, have terrible CGI editing even though your budget is in the hundreds of millions, and why won’t y’all try something new?

i liked birds of prey bc it was FUN and FRESH and it was 100% harley’s vibe! and i have a soft spot for the dark knight bc that was the first dc movie i had seen and heath ledger’s joker was the BLUEPRINT and i just miss him so much he was one of my fav actors!

but as for the current state of dc? abysmal and i wouldn’t even subject myself to the torture of watching their movies - my friend has and she was like this is the WORST LMFAO plus they keep doing the same story over and over again! we want something NEW!

my friend has great vision and she was like they should make a batfam type of movies like how amazing would that be? imagine seeing gotham in its colorful glory? bright neons, colorful street graffiti, LIVELINESS? imagine a scene of dick at the circus and it’s slowmo of him doing an acrobatic circus trick with neon lights illuminating him? imagine an older nightwing and jason todd (redhood) being bro’s and seeing how lethal jason can be? perhaps seeing bruce finally DATE clark??? i think conveying tone of each character is important, being new & fresh is important, and having great set/production design & screenplays are important! that being said, i hope rob pattinson as batman can show us something different!

sakura hehehe i think she knows that hinata swoons easily and she likes to take advantage of it LOL. she’ll just scoop hinata up and hinata will jus be quiet and bear it... she really likes it though!! and sakura likes carrying hinata because well... doesnt she just look cool doing it and who doesnt wanna carry a pretty girl???

but like, i think if they were on a mission or something together, hinata’s more likely to scoop sakura up and go RUNNING cuz sakura doesn’t wanna retreat and hinata’s like nah.

oh this is soft. im gonna assume physical features?? for hinata i think her favorite feature of sakura’s is her hair.... it’s so lovely i think she would have admired it when they were in the academy but also hinata really admires strength in other people and i think once she realizes that to sakura, her hair is a sign of her strength she’d really be taken with it! like sakura tells hinata why she cut it in the chuunin exams and why she prefers to keep it short now and hinata thinks sakura is sooooooooo cool for that and she just loves to play with and brush out sakura’s hair because it’s just a reminder of how badass her girlfriend is. she also really likes that it’s pink just aesthetically!!

as for sakura... hinata’s trained so hard and worked so hard for so long, and i’d think that using taijutsu so much and the gentle fist and such really gives you some rough ass hands LOL so hinata has really rough hands with a lot of callouses and they’ll blister easily and sakura loves to hold her hands and put balm on them after hinata’s been training too long for too hard, she loves to kiss hinata’s knuckles and her palms and the tips of her fingers and remind hinata that her hands are for more than being a hyuuga. and this just tears hinata apart i think she gets all weak-kneed when sakura does that sort of stuff. 

7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

hinata’s a MEEEESSSS. like it HITS her and it’s OVER she can’t act right around sakura EVER. i think sakura figures out she likes hinata second and then SHE figures out hinata likes her and she... they both get flustered LOL i think sakura tries to flirt but they both get embarrassed by it its like. the most lesbian courting ever they just dance around each other even though they like obviously dig each other and they’d probably gone on quite a few dates without like... admitting they were dates.... god they’re both a mess actually.

i think they do like corny sweet nicknames with each other like darling and sweetie and gummy bear and baby doll but i don’t think they have like nicknames they use a LOT. i guess sakura would call hinata ‘hina’ sometimes, but other than that, i think they jus stick with their sappy petnames~~~ and i think they started off as a joke but then they both actually got really into them and how sweet they sound. like hinata feels ALIVE calling sakura “honey” around their friends

oh my god they’re both like. disgusting worrywarts. DISGUSTING. sakura naturally as a medic and hinata just like as. hinata. but god if they aren’t both so RECKLESS, sakura has that endless determination and hinata always fights like she’s got something to prove so they worry ENDLESSLY after each other. i think like jus in everyday life sakura will worry after hinata when it really isn’t necessary because she knows how anxious hinata can get in certain situations but hinata... kinda likes it.... shhh.

when hinata had a crush on sakura she would try really hard to notice sakura’s preferences so she’d know what kind of gifts sakura would like and that sort of thing just.... persists. she’s so observant i think she doesn’t even realize it until sakura’s in the bathroom or something and hinata realizes she can recite sakura’s order perfectly. i think sakura knows what kind of foods hinata likes but hinata has sakura’s exact order from like... everywhere they go... down pat. she’s a little embarrassed about it though sakura teases her for it

SG Headcanons: Eliza

Okay so, like, Eliza is way too much “like” my own mother so expect some biases here, apologies:

Whatever is “left” or is Eliza, is now either gone or Sekhmet, her fusion with Sekhmet has left her practically a shell of a human. She still responds to Eliza, but there’s much less of what Eliza truly was that wasn't already Sekhmet

Sometimes when she sings, there’s a deeper pitch, much more lustful, raspy, “Just had sex and came here to slay” voice that isn’t Eliza at all: Who’s not to say it’s Sekhmet?

Her name Eliza could come from the name Elizabeth, and personally I could compare her to Elizabeth Bathory, who would bathe in virgin blood to stay “eternally young.” And with that I’m sure as hell she would definitely collect the blood from the supposed “blood drives” she does so much to bathe in it and rejuvenate battle wounds or gain some power from the people she leeches from

I like to believe that since Eliza was ideally there for so long (As long as to battle Samson and his previous host Delilah and supposedly kill Lamia’s daughter Aeon and Venus) she was there to sway the way of history, though completely hates how people have tried to whiten or “cleanse” history to make it palpable.

I also want to theorize that the SG version of Marc Antony didn’t “die”, Eliza found he had lost his usefulness and killed him for blood to fuel her.

Like Rose Quartz in SU, I theorize Eliza had many lovers, men and women, who she deemed “worthy” for her to either love or “lay with”, so technically, she never truly “loved” as she did want power. Many didn’t survive because they outlived their usefulness just for her.

When she was seen as Queen once, she was a torturous queen who would kill her servants in the blink of an eye because of a small mistake, even so small as giving her a grape with a seed in it as she would recline on her throne

The people overthrew her with the help of OTHER parasites, but in doing so, crafted the prejudice of parasites as a whole later when peace was made and Eliza was forced underground (Or, simply, it was due to the fact that Eliza made that prejudice the way she treated humans and other creatures lower than herself as a god)

She manipulated her way through the shadows as Sekhmet before finding the real Eliza outside her club of Bastet’s Den, who was nearly tossed out the club because her songs were bland and too “soft” for the luxury club.

At first she appeared to Eliza as a “goddess” who chose her out of luck and would offer Eliza both power and wealth in order to become who she is now. Eliza didn’t care, because she wanted to live and not have to struggle to survive, which from then, Sekhmet would fuse with her, and immediately Eliza was slowly taken over

I used to theorize that Sekhmet would live with Eliza first before she fused with her, by living in her cheap apartment bathtub in which Eliza had to offer blood to her so she could recover her latent powers. Cue disappearing jerks at the club who were promised a night they would never forget... And Sekhmet never did just for them.

When she finally fused with Eliza, Sekhmet literally became her skeleton and simply did that, Eliza laid down in that tub and became... herself.

If Eliza did marry or fall in love with someone, the fact that it’s mainly sekhmet leads to the question, “Who are you really loving? What’s left of Eliza? or Sekhmet?”

I also feel that Eliza never had or really “wanted” children. She most likely would only have them for the sake of killing them later in order to gain more power or simply for use politically / materialistically.

I could also theorize that Samson once loved Eliza, but then Delilah came into the picture and as Sekhmet was then known as Neferu, odds are she was much more jealous of him ALA Ishtar and Gilgamesh

Considering Theons were the name of the Parasites who were praised like gods for their power, I would also like to say that as Story Mode Eliza wants to bring that back, she would teach her followers to respect parasites, and or her children if she ever had any.

That said, pregnancy must be super easy for Eliza because since they’d be born of Sekhmet, and because Sekhmet can easily heal herself with blood and whatnot, while Eliza would have to gain a lot of blood to feed her child, she could really choose to speed up the process or just you know, really choose to give birth (But this is just me and I understand how creepy this is so please forgive me, but also blood powers are interesting soooo)

Since she has a Dio costume palette, it’s easy to theorize that should Eliza ever falter and Sekhmet remains, even as an undead head, she need only find a new host to simply graft them together. 

Sekhmet loves Lions as they represent her in Egyptian mythos, Eliza though, simply loves Tabby cats

Eliza’s original Egyptian motif does come from the fact that she hails from the SG version of Egypt, Pre-Sekhmet Eliza didn’t capitalize it until after Sekhmet came into play. She brainwashed her slowly that she deserved to be Queen.

She hates men who lust for power and has no honor in killing if people do not have usefulness to her. However, hypocritically, she will in fact marry a man for power and like a Black Widow, kill him for that power too. She believes as a megalomaniac she deserves true power. Because she is true power

Always believed Sekhmet should be voiced by Eartha Kitt, not Wendee Lee / Konata from Lucky Star lmfao

She’s very very jealous and despises “true” love, seeing it as a weakness only for weak minded individuals to be killed for. (I.E, got her broken once by Samson, sees that part of her as “weak”)

Albus and Horace both are her attendants after besting Albus as Sekhmet, Horace simply knew what she was like and pledged his fealty to her asap.

She does in fact like to play fetch with Albus, though, he admittedly will try to act like a tough guy

hey so i wanted to post a kind of “reactionary/reading” post thing for Victorian Tale. but it was shorter than i anticipated so i kinda just read the whole thing without pause, and since i was so absorbed, i just wrote down my reactions and not a lot of, like, thought. so enjoy these reactions(tm). also warning: minor(?) spoilers.
