oh my constant quest to ship characters together, i wanted to come up with a setup for pond tordmatt. for funnies

had to change things up a little, because at the state tord and matt are in the comic, this would not even stand a chance. so they both have to give each other a chance. somwhat.

i feel that the only way they would do that is through somebody they both have a soft spot for. so Edd.

to set the scene:

edd and tord are irl friends at this point, tord and matt do not know each other.

tord and edd are talking, and the conversation eventually turns to dating. tord eventually explains to edd that he thinks he has interest in men, but isn’t sure. he wants to have a go at experimenting and seeing if it works for him. problem is, he could not score an opportunity to do that to save his life, and is freaked out by the idea that he’ll never know.

tord brings this up in hopes that edd would give him a chance. edd does not pick up on this.

edd tells tord he has a friend who told him something similar, who is also struggling to find somebody. edd suggests he set up a date between the two, so they can see how it goes.

tord is under the impression it’ll be fine. him and edd are fucking loser nerds, so surely one of edd’s friends will be the same. so tord at least has no reason to feel panicy or intimidated.

matt shows up and is the furthest from the type of person tord anticipated.

shenanigans ensue.

it’s all awkward and pretty horrendous .

edd probably asks tord how it went the next day, tord is about to tell him he’s an insane person for thinking they would work out and flipping out at him.

before tord can get to that, edd’s saying ‘oh it can’t have been that bad tho, because matt told me you’re meeting same time next week.’

Tord’s like ‘??? WE ARE??’

any time they spend time together he doesn’t stop talking about how he’d rather not be there, but he always ends up arranging something again after.

He's been a fan of it since childhood, but considering his strict household...yeah he wasn't exactly allowed to openly listen to those bands. That's why he's like...afraid of. Admitting he likes it

So he settled down to...one night stands? And trying out a bunch of very short and often meaningless relationships. That maybe lasted a week or so. If he was lucky at least.

Tom Headcanons | The Tired Friend

Appearance:

Tom's skin is fairly tan. His hair is a light brown color and he keeps his facial hair at a chin scruff.

He is the shortest of the boys, standing 5'11 tall. The teasing he experiences from the boys due to this makes him grumpy and he is not afraid to punch them in the gut over it.

While he is slightly lanky (not to the same level as Matt, but not as bulky as Tord or Edd) he does have a healthy bit of chub to him.

It's unknown exactly how many tattoos Tom has, or if he even has any at all. He refuses to answer the question. If Reader asks, he'll just ominously say "you'll find out" then change the subject. As for piercings, he has an eyebrow piercing and multiple ear piercings.

Family Life:

Tom is the most tragic of the group in this aspect.

When he was young, his parents passed away in an accident. Since he was a child, his brain blocked out the entire experience, so he can't remember exactly what the accident was- nor does he really want to remember.

He and his brother went and lived with an aunt after this happened- they were still in town, so his friends didn't change.

He was never particularly close with that aunt so he fell out of touch with her after a while.

As for his brother, who is a year younger than him, he talks to him occasionally but not often.

So, overall, doesn't have the best relationship with his biological family- but that's okay, because the roommates are his family now.

Personality:

Seems kind of cold, but he's actually pretty friendly.

He's just tired all the time.

His sense of humor is broken. He would find fail videos the funniest shit. Probably loves the Everlong trend on Tik Tok.

A huge music nerd, but keeps it lowkey because he thinks its embarrassing. He knows all kinds of music, and can probably name a shit ton of songs that play on the radio off the top of his head. Definitely has a whole self full of vinyl records that he's collected.

I like to dip more into his bass playing than a lot of people I've seen ever do. He usually waits until he's home alone or only one other person is in the house to play, just because he doesn't wanna bother the others. Has learned how to play a good handful of songs on his bass. Follows those accounts on Tik Tok that do bass and electric guitar covers of songs.

He's pretty decent at singing, but never sings around others because it makes him flustered. Will occasionally sing lullabies to Reader when she can't sleep or had a nightmare. But she's the only one he'll sing for.

Although he acts like he hates all of them, he cares a lot about the others. He doesn't acknowledge it or admit it, but he does take care of his roommates here and there. Yes, even Tord.

On the flip side, he's shit at taking care of himself. it's honestly a miracle that he's as healthy as he is. Probably ends up falling asleep in random areas of the house the most, leaving the others to sigh and lay a blanket on top of him when they find him.

He likes playing Minecraft. Finds it so peaceful, definitely a welcome break from the chaotic household. He'll let Reader lay between his legs while they lay in bed with him and he plays. Learned how to play his favorite Minecraft songs on his bass.

Chronic sloucher. The man has Certified shrimp posture. Help his poor spine.

Tom is a professional photographer! He's very good at what he does and has quite the schedule booked. Makes sure its very clear to his clients that he is not available for bookings on the weekends - those are reserved for his family roommates.

He loves Ghost-type Pokemon. I have no reasoning behind this one, honestly. Just vibes. He's got a Gengar Squishmallow on his bed that he treats like his own son.

A very simple man. Likes the simple and peaceful things in life. Too bad he got his ass irreparably bonded with three (four counting Reader) of the most unhinged, chaotic people in existence.

Yes. Several of his accessories are black and white checkered. Sue him, but he's consistent. Main things to note of this theme are his phone case, a pair of slip-on Vans, and the old skateboard in his closet that he hasn't used since secondary school.

Like Tord, he's got a smoking habit that he's trying to combat with vaping. Still uses cigarettes on particularly stressful or frustrating nights.

Likes drinking Java Monster Energy.

Very proud vinyl record collector. Not picky about what kind of records he gets, though he tends to prefer ska and classic rock (dad rock). One of the best things to get him as a present, he'll love it dearly.

Has so many playlists. Making them is therapeutic for him. It's one of his love languages, a way that he expresses his feelings. Also has playlists for his emotions, and for all kinds of different situations like rainy days or beach trips. Showing Reader his playlists would be him opening up to them in a huge way.

A/N: this has been rotting in my draft for centuries so not requested just needed to finish this and cure my writers block for good !!

Warnings: swearing, mentions of sex, Bo being unreasonably mean, reader is a down bad loser, almost fucking to prove a point

“Hey-Uh Bo?” I tap the tall boys shoulder, trying to get his attention in the crowded living room we’re standing in, “I wanted to ask if I could have your number- so we could like hand out some time?”

“What?” He says after turning around

“I said could I have your number-“

“I heard you fuck face I’m just not falling for the same song and dance again” he scoffs, taking a sip from his cup.

“What do you mean-“ I sputter out

“I know Chrissy sent you over here to fuck with me alright?” He shrugs “hey hot popular conventionally attractive friend of mine, go over and ask out the weird skinny kid.” He mocks her in a high pitched voice.

“What- no I just want your number asshole the fuck?” I scowl at him stepping back, phone in my left hand, beer in my right.

I walk into the room to see Bo sat on the bed “Surprised to see me here?” He jokes “I made sure to scope out the whole room for whatever you’re planning.”

“I’m not planning anything- what is wrong with you?” I am starting to get annoyed at this point,

“Yeah sure whatever-“ I cut him off by pulling him into a kiss, grabbing the collar of his shirt as I straddle his hips on the bed. I slowly bring my left hand up behind his head, pulling him closer to deepen the kiss as he groans. “You’re a good fucken actor.”

“Bo… why do you think I stare at you every day in chemistry-?” I ask now just as red faced as the man below me “why do you think I spend so much time around the drama club when crew aren’t even needed-“

“Ever since freshman year- Bo I’ve been in love with yo-“ I’m suddenly cut off by a kiss, as he sits up, one of Bo’s hands finds its place on the back of my neck, the other places itself on my lower back.

“I’m- I don’t think I want to rush into this…” he sighs “I think you’re really pretty and fun to be around but I don’t want to take things too fast-“

“Thank god-sorry but I like you too much to just fuck you and prove a point.” I laugh sitting up “so… are you free next Friday after drama club?”

I'm back at it again with some Eddsworld art and today we have. Tord and Todd, not the Todd from Saloonatics, But the neighbors Todd. Todd is a character that happens to be in Eddsworld but, You only see his shoulder and shirt and that's it.. lol.. Anyways people have made different versions of Todd, which I think is neat. Because of how little we know about him, people have just came up with their own ideas of what his personality is like including design sometimes. Anyways my version of Todd is pretty stern and doesn't like rough housing and is a bit of a nerd🤓 and he may or may not be a boy kisser... And fun fact his voice sounds like an old fancy British man that's rich and snobby.

The start of the iconic haircut. Found 1990s reference photos where there were actually kind of similar cuts!! A photo like this was probably taken by another friend in Oslo, where those two were trying to act "cool". Speaking of "those two", outfit choices!!! Both outfits were directly taken from photos that reminded me of their personalities. Pat's outfit, which was more reminiscent to me of a stereotypical nerd in a comedy film from this time, with the knit sweater and high neckline, reflected his "professional" attitude and his overall more reserved vibes. With Tord's father (WHAT DO I NAME HIM????), the jacket and sweater combo was just so much like the RA uniform, it was perfect!! It serves as both foreshadowing and establishing his more militaristic values over political or social pursuits. I'd say the two of them serve as two halves of the same coin, where Pat is more of the brains, someone who strives to solve problems through reason, Tord's father prefers force and coersion.

QOTD: What's your opinion on the next eddisode?

I'm anticipating it, but not excited for it, if that makes sense? I'm fully expecting it to disrupt every AU and headcanon in the fandom.

I’m not sure if you’ve answered this before, but what are the main differences between the teen versions of the tords from different au’s? like is it just along the line of s! tord being awkward and r!tord being a degenerate lmaoo

I've answered this a ton before here and there, most times jokingly, but here, definitive very serious answer:

Honestly the main differences are the choices they make, all my Tord variants are STILL Tord, they all have the capacity to BE each other. It's just that their circumstances and choices drew the lines between them.

Below will be minor spoilers for Two Kings so I'll place the detailed answers under a readmore but tldr: TK Tord: Emo Regimen Tord: weebcel Stay Tord: Dork nerd

First off, their circumstances:

Two Kings Tord lost his parents in a freak accident and was raised solely by his grandfather. This made him a lot more reclusive and quiet. As a teenager he didn't speak much and preferred to be a listener. He never really bothered to leave his comfort zone much.

Regimen Tord's parents weren't much in the picture, they loved him but they're a little absent, his guardians were his aunt and uncle, and they gave him a lot of freedom, but he was quite resentful of his parents' seemingly quiet rejection of him. He took advantage of his guardians' pity and was very much an asshole in his teen years as a result. He was very entitled.

Stay Tord's parents are still in his life, they're mostly busy, they love him but they aren't around much either due to their responsibilities. They did flee from Norway afterall. Like TK Tord, his grandfather is more of the one who raises him/spends time with him while his parents are gone. As a teen he's also a bit reclusive, maybe somewhat resentful of his parents, so he turned to escapism [anime] and learned most of his social skills from there [UNFORTUNATELY].

EDDSWORLD FALLOUT AU

Ok I'm putting this here because I have had this as an idea for so long and I don't rlly expect eddsworld fans to rlly be into fallout BUT I AM, OK? I got a lot of points I wanna talk abt and MAYBE I'll draw it MAYBE SETTING- Every fallout game is in America and EW is not, but I think I can keep the setting in England. As ur gonna see later, I thought Tord being a synth would be fitting. BUT UNFORTUNATLEY synths are only present in Fallout 4 and that is largely due to the institute not being a huge presence anywhere but Massachusetts. Compromise? There is no institute, but something similar (Will talk more in the Tord section) EDD- Honestly I LOVE cowboy Edd, but the only game with a huge cowboy setting would be New Vegas. But think about it, a survivor in the wasteland who is obsessed with prewar relics and clothing. Places like the midwest or even the Mojave are very different from England, but Edd seems like the kind of guy to be into the whole Prewar cowboy nerd. Ofc he's the protagonist, I'm not sure what kind of name he would have though. You know, lone survivor, the courier, i forgot what the protag is called in fallout 3 i havent played it. The "Goulden one" would be kind of funny though. I want him to have the same energy as the Courier, got shot and survived and is now a menace in the wasteland. But he's more heroic obv, going on silly adventures with the gang and make the wasteland a better place

TOM- I can see him being a vault dweller, but choosing to leave the life of one. It wasn't working for him and he probably didn't live in one of the good vaults. He travels with Edd and matt because he probably would get killed if he went by himself (Alcohol and chem addict) and is possibly out for revenge. Revenge for what? You'll se :3 ofc this is just brainstorming, maybe he wouldn't end up as a vault dweller and perhaps Edd was the vault dweller and Tom is the jagged wastelander. MATT- I have to say it, Matt is a ghoul. But does that affect his self esteem? No! I don't think there's a single ghoul in fallout who doesn't have a captivating personality, Matt is no exception. He is definitely the type to pick up random junk from the wasteland and is over encumbered. And he loves those fuckass monkey symbol things that make noise if you've played fallout 4, you know what I'm talking about,,,shudder) But people don't take him seriously BECAUSE he is a ghoul and full of radiation. But Edd has a good reputation and is able to vet for him. I also just thought what if he was a celebrity before the war? That would explain his lingering ego, but failing to realize nobody really cares anymore. RED ARMY- Notice how I didn't put Tord here? That's because he is unfortunately the enemy. Moreso his Red Army, but he isn't aggressive towards Edd or anyone else. He thinks positively of the 3 (maybe except Tom), but the issue is his reign against the wasteland. Think of him like Mr. House or the Brotherhood of Steel (Not the vegas BoS, they can go kys) he is the only military force around, but it's not a good one. The Red Army are known for their brutal enforcement of rules and are in fact transhumanists. They want to slowly take control of everyone and "improve" the human form. Why? Tord is essentially a partial synth. Not fully robot, but not a natural human. Yes his robot arm is coming back and YES power armor is being involved. I would like to mention that as much as I want to include characters like Paul and Patryck in this post, they are not as "essential" as the main 4. They are still Tord's righthand men, but it would be unfair of me to include them in this post and not other lesser known character. I DO have plans though, but I'll have to iron all of this out first. Larry will be thought of dw bing and larry fans, all 10 of u <3 These are all ideas! Basic thoughts i've had for a while now and maybe some ppl won't understand it. But if anyone does like fallout and EW...GIVE ME UR IDEAS!!! Perhaps even draw up some designs? I know I def will revisit this but I have a haircut today
