YO DAY6 STAN HI i don’t have the energy to keep up with bands these days but they were my JAM a few years ago and they’re still in a ton of my playlists
OMG YEAAAAHH!!!
They've been my #1 since the Shoot Me era but I've been a listener since pretty much the beginning. I grew up with them and they're forever my favorite band!

Weekly BBT Charts - 2024 Week 48 (Ending Nov. 30th)
Tumblr media
This Is What Remains holds at #1 as the yearly Christmas rotation makes its splash. Life Is Strange's stranglehold on the top 10 also continues. More after the cut.
Some Are Lonely's This Is What Remains holds the #1 spot for a 2nd week, with a sizeable 55 play lead. This count is more than triple the 2nd place song, which has 18 plays. This is also the first song in over 4 years to spend 2 weeks at #1 with more than 50 plays; the last time was Alison that scored 57 then 64 plays in its first 2 weeks at the top. This is a very rare occurence, as songs with large initial play counts tend to drastically drop off after a few days. However, Remains remained fairly consistent in the 10 days it has been on rotation, typically getting an average of around 8 plays per day.
Mogwai's Kids Will Be Skeletons returns to the top 10 as it rattles 20-2 in its 16th week. Its sibling Life is Strange tracks hold the top 5 as well: Syd Matters' Obstacles holds at #4, and Jonathan Morali's Max & Chloe dips 3-5.
The Holidays and the first snows of the year mean it's time for the yearly holiday staples of the Billie Charts to make their arrival. The newest inductee from last year, Wario World's Shivering Mountains, hits a new peak as it re-enters at #3, while Somewhere In My Memory from Home Alone re-enters at #6. The song notches its 36th* week on the charts, likely to clench the 2nd longest chart run length in a few weeks. Not unlike Christmas songs on the Billboard Hot 100, Somewhere In My Memory has been slowly racking up weeks on the chart every December since the start of the Weekly Charts in 2017, and thus will likely eventually take the #1 in a few years.

Below, Five Fold Kiss by The Hex Girls rebounds 16-7, while Secret Garden's Renaissance re-enters the top 10 at #8. RedLee, Jadasea and MIKE's Signal holds in the top 10 for a 2nd week as it rises 10-9. Finally, Moody Joody's El Camino High dips 2-10.
Outside the top 10, several songs hit new notable peaks: Lady Gaga's Disease hits a new peak as it rockets 49-11; Pieces of a Dream by MIKE similarly floats up 35-12 to a new height, and Tyler the Creator's Sticky climbs 28-15.
Origami Angel's Where Blue Light Blooms (#19) and Tropical Beaches, Inc. by Chat Pile mark the big debuts for this week, while the Holiday rotation notches a few more re-entries:
23 décembre by Beau Dommage reappears at #14;
The oddity that is the Christmas Lights Medley manufactured by Grandlite Co. blips back into the charts at #20
Brawl In The Family's Mariah Carey parody, A Simple Request, wills itself back in at #35.
Rounding out the debuts, Midnight Kids' remix of William Black's My Own Advice debuts at #36, while The Parting by Kevin MacLeod makes it first debut on the charts since first being discovered over 10 years ago at #50.

*Somewhere In My Memory has charted for 36 weeks in the Top 50 since the official start of the Weekly Charts in August 2017; however CrownNote adds an extra 2 weeks for two reasons:
In a series of "simulated" weekly charts from January to July 2017, the song appears for a single week at the start of January. These charts are not considered to be official, since the Daily Charts were still the official chart at the time, and those weekly charts were created in hindsight to ensure the CrownNote Year-End had full data for the year.
The song appears at #89 in one of two charts in early 2022 where I tried to do a Top 100. This did not last; the charts were retroactively converted to a top 50 chart in my database after the fact. The change had not been made to the CrownNote site however.
