Okay so my room is a mess (as always) but what do y’all think about this as the basis for a progress pride flag quilt? I know I’m missing brown, I don’t currently have any brown fabric except a single bit of woodgrain fabric, and I think the darker pinks in the trans pride section might be wrong, but I think the rest of it is pretty good!

Most of these are from a fat quarter back, but I might add one more fat quarter to each section just for a little more variety, and because the pack did not come with two different options for every color. Maybe a solid or variegated solid?

…looking at it again, I’m not sure about the blues and pinks I have for the trans pride section, I would absolutely welcome feedback on those

#the hearts on the veils/candles bingo are broken bc. well. yknow #ask #i do have slightly different outlooks on both of them #spwines is basically just canon to me in a divorced way. like. i dont think they're romantic. but i Do think they're infinitely divorced #the spwines divorce is extremely real #soulmates that will find each other in every universe type shit. except the soulmates is being Exes™ in every universe #their constant bickering is amusing and im delighted everytime they show up together bc without fail they argue. and it's enrichment for me #i just know the scoundrel is involving herself in the spwines divorce war on the side of mr wines #(she really needs better things to do with her time)#fallen london #veils/candles on the other hand i dont really actively ship? i think it's an intriguing prospect #i like seeing interpretations of their dynamic #but i dont think they necessarily ever had a relationship like that. and if they ever did. well. it's a bit fucked up now isnt it #the tragedy of candles is definitely a lot more tragic if you interpret him and veils as being Close. but i think of it as extra spice #on top of an already delicious dish #yknow?#that being said. they're kind of on the same Extreme Divorced wavelength as spwines. albeit obviously in a VERY different way #i think the most karmically fitting fate for veils is being tormented by its sins (particularly towards candles) for all eternity #and like. that's a ship. in a way. of a sort.#veils alone with the corpse it lovingly handcrafted and left to rot at the bottom of a well #it's the classic disney villain ending where the antagonist gets literally dragged away and punished by their victims #which is all to say #that one bag a legend text where veils is speaking to someone you cant see and it's Afraid. that's delicious #i love it being tormented like that and we all should hold candles over its head forever and ever

every time my dad does anything he has to do it in the most annoying and loudest way possible. and honestly i'm not sure if he means to or he's just really goddamn stupid but it's really really grating. and i'm suffering the werewolf curse rn so i'm ready to die

My previous wheel project! Some mystery wool I’m fairly certain is polwarth. Came out to about 550yds of light fingering 3 ply.

#I just accidentally committed a crime #I have a job interview tomorrow so I was just going to run by Walmart and get a cheap pair of dress shoes #and while I was there I was just scanning the clothes because I wasn’t feeling my job interview top #and I happened to see pretty nice thin blazers on clearance for $5 #so I was like damn might as well grab it it’s always good to have a blazer on hand in my line of work #so I go to self check out and get my things and even had to get a worker to come help me scan my blazer because it wouldn’t scan #so I get home and get my blazer out of the bag to hang up and the pocket felt kind of heavy so I was like huh???#I reach inside the pocket and pull whatever it was weighing it down out and it was a god damn lime #someone stuck a lime in the blazer pocket and I stole the lime from Walmart #I just thought that was hilarious #I got a free lime #I can make a margarita after my job interview

guys I just survived a ladder that wanted to kill me. cheers

#context- I work odd jobs in film production a lot. I recently picked up a new part timer filming high school football games #this particular one was an hour and a half away so needless to say I was already mentally preparing for a LOT #and I got there and the spot where they wanted me was on the ROOF of the press box. which I knew beforehand #what I did NOT know beforehand was that the only way up or down was a ladder that pops down from said roof #which would’ve been okay but I was carrying three equipment bags like a pack mule #so I climb the ladder and even that was fine until the top step #I faceplant straight onto the roof because there is a barrier that’s like a foot long between the ladder step and the roof floor #so. rough start. but the view is great and once I’m up there it’s kinda fun #until. UNTIL. I wanted to go pee because again. hour and a half drive to get there.#said barrier made it so you have to climb down to get to the ladder step and railing and I pissed around playing chicken with that thing for #for an HOUR playing chicken because I could not fucking handle it #so I get through the first half okay but decide that I’m booking it to the bathroom the second halftime starts #and I forced my fat arse over the ledge and I figured out a grip on the trapdoor thing that helped keep me from falling #and I felt like I’d just made a person break cause like. I genuinely was not sure how the fuck I’d make it down for a bit #after that? might’ve been the high of Doing The Scary Thing but the rest of the time I had fun #I got a nice coach in the press box to help grab my bags as I handed them to him so I could climb down to leave #drove an hour in pitch darkness on country roads to my boss’s house to drop off the footage then 20 minutes home and now #and now I think I could sleep forever and ever but I fuckin did the thing

i know my neighbors are tired of my apt sounding like a barbershop every night

#that’s the long distance marriage living alone chronicles ladies and baybees #this and a blunt ! except i don’t do drugs so the blunt has been rolled w cookie crumbs #things are going well. the first 2 months (july n august) of this moving cross country journey were the most stressful of my life to the #point where i discovered one white hair each in july and august when i can count on one hand the amount of white hairs i’ve had in my life #things are beginning to turn around. ish. i think. i hope! it’s mostly money stress bc i went from living w family and not paying rent #or bills (ya ya sorry) to the complete opposite. and my salary is pretty good but it’s such an adjustment when i’ve been sheltered for so #long in that way. on top of that paying outstanding medical bills so the past 2 months have been inch resting! i still am adjusting but i #see a light at the end of the tunnel. i miss my husband :( if he was here everything would be perfect #when my shits paid off and my apartment is furnished i’m going ham on some new bags #going to eat a lil cookie and watch a lil true crime on yt. gnight tumbly friends #mine

#i like to use aluminum foil instead of parchment paper because it caramelizes the bottom #we usually have several bags of different chocolate chips all with like a handful left so i put them all in and it tastes good #i like to make a streusel topping sometimes if im feeling fancy #also i do a big fancy thing with the eggs and sugar and butter that i dont feel like writing out
