i miss being a kid, so badly.

why can't we just go back? go back to those simple times where life felt so unreal and great?

those times where you felt so alive and when the sun seemed to be brighter and the world was more vibrant, and you'd have those random moments at random times that came out of nowhere where time felt like it paused for a second and the only thing you could think was - "how am i actually living right now? how am i here, right now, living and breathing?" - does anyone else remember that small pause where something like that came up in your mind? ... those times where you believed in santa claus and the tooth fairy and the easter bunny, and that excitement you felt on those nights where those magical characters would come by to leave gifts or baskets or eggs or a few dollars because you believed those things were real and it was such an exciting feeling. those times where holidays felt just.. the way you felt when you're a little kid - there's honestly not a word to describe it. those times when you'd wake up to the sound of the mourning doves and the smell of breakfast being made and the sun shining through the windows of your house. ...and so much more.

what happened? why can't i just get that back, that feeling? why can't i go back and relive it over and over and over? it's all i want.

No one in the reverse 1999 fandom talks enough about how Ezra saw someone die in his character story event

Like it’s been a COMMON theme for character stories revolving around establish Foundation staff to include the violent death of another person happen before their eyes forever changing their outlook on life.

The Uluru Games was all happy fun haha nice times (besides the almost getting lynched incident which I’ll talk about how the writing was so bad on that?? Later?? Maybe??). It was all reunions and a win for the arcanists and finally something to have hope for in hopeless times. Then we flip over to Ezra and he’s there being viscerally reminded that nature is beautiful and cruel. The logs specifically tell you a story about how you came across this Hunter time and time until in a later stage they’re injured and you can’t quite help thelm, then in the last stage you come across their dead body. ?????

And in Tooth Fairy’s character event the same thing happened? Not exactly but the situation of a Foundation personnel after spending their life tied to the Foundation GENERATIONALLY, one of the first times they’ve set out is met with realizing the fragility of life up close and personal, past what they knew from The Storm alone. A death caused by The Storm by the beginning of the game was already a somewhat daily fact of life. Caught in The Storm and you can only live on in others memories. And with how often they occurred, even despite E Lucevan le Stelle, time just isn’t passing enough before reversing for natural deaths to be the most common. For Tooth Fairy, she’s old enough to have experienced life before natural death was uncommon, but not for Ezra.

When something happens in my mouth, I become so focused on that thing and usually I can't stop rolling over it with my tongue. I literally can't leave it alone. For example, if I cut the inside of my cheek a lil and the skin is all loose and flabby I spend every moment wiggling it around with my tongue.

And rn one of my adult teeth is loose, and I need to wait to go to the dentist to get it checked out. So I'm trying my hardest to not like mess with it so it doesn't come out.

So now, every second of my day is being spent focusing on what is happening in my mouth and being hyper aware of the tooth and trying not to move it around and freaking out if anything touches it and constantly thinking that some peice if food i ate is actually my tooth and it's actualy driving me insane.

imagine one evening, Alphonse is lying next to Boo when they’ve already fallen asleep. He’s also sleepy, but his thoughts are keeping him up.

It surprised him when he found out he was Boo’s first relationship. Out of anyone they had ever met, they chose him. They had waited patiently for all these years to find someone and then they met him and decided he was worth a chance.

Al’s not sure what they saw in him, but if being with him makes them happy, happier than they’ve ever been before, then perhaps it’s worth it.

Sugarboo and Alphonse said farewell to Seth as he rode off on his motorcycle, Betty in hand.

It had been a lot of stress to get the two boys to a point where they didn't want to strangle each other, but to Sugarboo it was worth it.

The two flopped onto Al's couch, happy to be done with that situation when Alphonse spoke up,

"let's just hope that when your ex comes to town, it's not as difficult to deal with" he joked, turning to Sugarboo.

"well that won't be much of a problem," they said quietly, nervous to tell Alphonse, "Because I don't have any exes."

"wait, what?" Alphonse was confused, "what do you mean you don't have any exes?"

"I mean, you're my first ever relationship." Sugarboo hid their face in their hands, "I never really found that... Connection with anyone else."

Alphonse just sat there in shock for a moment. He was Sugarboo's first relationship? He couldn't believe it. All this time, they hadn't been able to find a connection with someone, but they had found one in him?

Sugarboo yawned then and changed the conversation. "As much as I love talking with you Al, I'm really tired"

"oh yeah, me too," Alphonse smiled as he looked down where Sugarboo had laid their head on his shoulder, "wanna cuddle?"

"is that even a question?" Sugarboo giggled as they turned to wrap Alphonse in a big embrace, giggling as he maneuvered the both of them to lay comfortably on the couch together.

"good night boo," Alphonse kissed the top of their head once they were comfortable.

"mmm, g'night Al," Sugarboo was already dozing off, content.

Alphonse just smiled at them as he too tried to go to sleep.

But no matter how hard he tried, his mind kept on wandering to what Sugarboo had said. It was still so astonishing that Alphonse was their first ever relationship. He, out of everyone that Sugarboo had met on their journey of life, was the first person whom they fell for.

He didn't know what it was about him, maybe the charm, maybe the good looks, maybe the attitude. But deep down, he knew. It wasn't because of how he was as a person, no, it was something deeper than that.

Seth had always gone on about magic and fate and Mothman or whatever, and Alphonse always thought it was silly. But now, here he was, with his beloved Boo, and he gets it now.

They were fated to be together, to love each other, to be each other's whole world

And Alphonse wouldn't have it any other way.
