Toontown: Corporate Clash Recap: Cog Buildings (Redux)
Okay so, I’ve learned more about how Cog buildings work since I first started, and thus I figured I’d give some updated information.
A Cog building can have 1-6 floors, but the level of the building depends on the level of the Cog who captured it.
This goes as follows:
Level 1 Cog: 1 Story Building
Level 2 Cog: Tier I 2 Story Building
Level 3 Cog: Tier II 2 Story Building
Level 4 Cog: Tier I 3 Story Building
Level 5 Cog: Tier II 3 Story Building
Level 6 Cog: Tier I 4 Story Building
Level 7 Cog: Tier II 4 Story Building
Level 8 Cog: Tier I 5 Story Building
Level 9 Cog: Tier II 5 Story Building
Level 10 Cog: Tier I 6 Story Building
Level 11 Cog: Tier II 6 Story Building
The higher the tier, the more Cogs there’ll be, and the higher levels they’ll have.
The boss will always be an executive Cog, who’s level will be one higher than the level the other Cogs cap at, though it won’t necessarily be the highest tier.
i.e. A Level 3 executive Flunky could end up as the boss of a building with a level 2 executive Pencil Pusher, even if the Pencil Pusher outranks him in the lore.
While Cogs from other departments may rarely spawn in Cog buildings, it is impossible for them to be the “boss”.
As stated before, all buildings belong to the department of the Cog that captured them, but a business abbreviation is attached to the building name, depending on the department.
Sellbots: [Building Name] Co.
Cashbots: [Building Name] C.U.
Lawbots: [Building Name] Assoc.
Bossbots: [Building Name] Corp.
Boardbots: [Building Name] Inc.
If they take over a building with no name, it’ll receive the placeholder name of “Cogs” with the appropriate business abbreviation attached to the end.
Also, only Employees and Specialists can capture Toon Buildings, so you don’t have to worry about the Duck Shuffler dropping a Tier II 3 Story Building in Toontown Central, even if he is a Level 5 Cog Manager.
Buildings tied to the Main Taskline can NEVER be captured by Cogs, but buildings tied to Sidetasks are fair game.
Also, there’s about…
40 songs attached to Cog buildings alone.
Each department has 8 music tracks associated with their Cog Buildings. 5 of those tracks are for the first 5 floors of the cog building, 1 is dedicated to the final floor (and takes priority over the track that would play if the building didn’t end on that floor), 1 that plays in the elevator between floors, and 1 that plays as the “calm” theme when all the Cogs on the floor are defeated and you can move on to the next.
This music is also diagetic, by the way. It’s part of the Cog Building’s “alarm system” according to a blog post.
Also, I just realized I never properly explained how the surrender mechanic works (or rather, misunderstood a specific aspect of it) so here goes a recap and clarification of its mechanics: Clicking the “surrender” button causes a white flag to raise on your Toon’s status panel at the bottom of the screen, although you can still select a Gag or pass manually. Clicking the button again lowers the white flag.
If all participating Toons surrender, the Toons will all raise white flags, and one of the participating Cogs will taunt you as the Toons flee to the Playground via their portable holes.
You don’t lose your Gags, but your Laff is dropped to 1 due to how demoralizing surrendering can be.
When a Cog building falls, all participating Toons are granted invisible “points” equal to the number of floors the building had.
This invisible score is tracked in the “Toon Platoon” Leaderboards, with the top 10 Toons for that Month appearing on the blackboards in Toon HQ.
There’s also a Platoon for Cogs defeated.
Also, until that specific building gets captured again (or the servers get taken down for an update), all the Toons who helped save the Building will have their pictures displayed inside the building.
Plus, the shopkeeper will give all the Toons some Jellybeans for saving their shop, even if the building is vacant and has no shopkeeper!
I’m pretty sure I repeated some information in there, but yeah. That’s basically it!
(Credit to the Corporate Clash Wiki page on Cog Buildings for providing this information.)
-
That’s quite a put together system. Especially with how much music there is.

Okay so I have yet to actually talk about my and @harpertheangelwitch AU for batim/batdr. This is co-owned between us.
Which will be updated as I go-
And credit goes to @harpertheangelwitch for the name suggestion which will have a few tweaks!
This AU is called The Inky Mystery or Bendy and the Inky Mystery(subject for some more changes once he has his actual name)
This is back in 1990's modern day Era, where gangs are still around and thriving.
People are still ridiculed during this Era so it'll have themes of those. Meaning any lgbtq+ folk in this AU are more secretive about it to not cause any form of harm towards themselves. This ofc may have multiple Bendys in it that all have different names and may be color coded. We will have the main Bendy who's got yellow hued ink(may be based off an batdr bendy), the batim Bendy will be purely olden colors or have one of his own, there will also be a Pink Bendy that's a little bit of a prankster maybe. All Bendys will be triplets, so Essentially all of them are brothers.
The main Bendy who has no name YET owns his own little gang that idk what to call at all lmao- He is rivals with Belial an opposing demon who does have respect and will sometimes have to actually work together in some cases. Alice Angel in this au despises The Ink Demon brothers, still after what occurred before freedom. Still placing the blame on them for what Joey caused. Joey is still alive yes- but he's old yet causes some panic for toons.
With Belials platoon it only consists of angels, demons, and nephilims(in my au nephilim are a hybrid of angels and demons).
Meanwhile, with main Bendy(batdr), he owns his own platoon with various toons, helped by his s/o Civara. Civara is a feline toon who essentially runs more business related things compared to her boyfriend, who runs more of an illegal cartel that keeps them running.
Not one person owns parts of toon town in this au, but multiple do as there are various Big Bosses with widely known names.
And don't be fooled by the two Delia's around, Cordelia 'Delia' Snow is a kind hearted mute woman who acts as a messenger between everyone even if humans don't like it as much. And Delia Heart(my personal self insert into this AU-), is a woman who sort of is a seductress? She does work that no one else would, having no actual job than beingna freelancer who does work on her and her clients terms. Sometimes you'll see her acting as a photographer, yet she isn't actually one. Just a cover up to hide who she is.
And tags will be added soon so it can be found easier! and I will be sure to show all the ink demon bros when I can

Into, Across and Beyond!: Nature of Alternate Universes
In this post, I'll discuss the nature of each alternate universe and how they all differ from each other, and our world, in their own ways.
So, aside from the obvious point that there's always a variant of Sonic, one of his accomplices or another counterpart, as the lead hero of a universe, there's quite a few differences between worlds. For beginners, Dimension MP-2021's universe varies quite a lot from our own in these ways:
There are alternate universe equivalents to real-life products we use consistently. Chaos Cola is the main swap-in for Coca-Cola in most universes, though: in MP-2021, this is "Rola-Cola", it is "Chaos Soda" in CR-2017 and NS-2021, and "Crackin' Coke" in NM-1973.
G.U.N. has a presence in a few universes, though its presence in MP-2021 is instead cited as "S.I.G.U." (South Island Guardian Units). Likewise, MeteorTech, not owned by Robotnik in this universe, is dubbed Comet-Innovation.
As mentioned in the SEGANet post, YouTube is cited as "SEGATube" for SEGA universes (and any linked to them), and is better managed and less prone to allowing bots to cause people trouble.
TV idents are NOT treated as an afterthought in the SEGA universes, and brands are put as a core focus rather than simplicity. For instance, the UKTV Yesterday and W idents are more memorable in these cases.
In MP-2021, Tumblr is still dubbed Tumblelogs. Between universes, the whole Twitter/X name choice varies; for more peaceful areas, it's just Twitter, and in more run-down places like Moebius and New Yolk, it's X. However, in odd cases, they've decided to run with BOTH, dubbing it "TwiXter".
The Blue Man Group is the Green Man Group in MP-2021.
O2 is instead H2O in that same universe, same with T-Mobile being S-Mobile and EE being "GG".
As discussed in my MP-2021 post, most areas in that dimension are all on one island, with only Angel Island and the Death Egg separate from it. Most other dimensions instead have a whole vast world around them.
OMT!Tails, when SAGE (Sonic Amateur Games Expo) and SHC (Sonic Hacking Contest) are mentioned off-handedly by CR!Sonic, doesn't know what either is, since he has PAX and Trinoc*coN respectively in his universe.
Fast food restaurants McDonald's and Burger King are instead dubbed "McLovely's" and "Burger Monarchy" respectively in MP-2021.
Pop culture as OMT!Tails knows it is vastly different compared to other worlds; in his universe, there's a marble-run comedy starring Chris Pratt called Don't Lose Your Marbles, the sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (Toon Platoon) actually managed to release in MP-2021, and Zootopia got its own sequel, subtitled "Furrious Unity".
The Planet Hollywood restaurant and resort chain is instead dubbed "Planet Staroak" in MP-2021, with the "Staroak" location off-island being the heart of the area's film industry.
Other changes for other set universes include:
Errorverse (EV-2019)
The more classic cartoons in the Errorverse went their own way from companies like Disney and Warner Bros., and expanded Toontown into a full-blown Toontopia where any classic cartoon can live and flourish.
The age rating badge in the Errorverse is outright PEGI instead of the ESRB.
Fazbear Entertainment underwent new management in the Errorverse after the Pizzaplex disaster and changed its ways with new pizzerias without trying to cover up what happened.
The BBC in the Errorverse is instead the GBC (Global Broadcasting Corporation), having its own library of TV channels and radio stations.
Dimension ELE-2023
Like Elemental, this universe splits different people by their different elements, with Sonic hailing from water (despite, ironically, it being his worst fear) and Amy Rose hailing from fire.
Miscellaneous
All dimensions comprising mainly of 2D artwork (with or without toon physics; anime-based works and animated storybooks count) all class as "Tooniverses". The main ones are Mr. Needlemouse's dimension, BK!Amy's Camelot, the three classic Sonic cartoons and Sonic X.
Likewise, any live-action Sonic content (like the Movie universe) also counts as a separate Tooniverse.

Roger Rabbit: Toon Platoon Pt. 2
Roger Rabbit: Toon Platoon Pt. 2
Richie, Roger, Wendy, and Jessica go out on a group date to the movie theater. Roger has fun but Richie has an anxiety attack since the picture is Wuthering Heights. On the streetcar afterward, he spills his guts to Wendy about his dad being a legendary fighter pilot and Richie washing out. Richie relates that he really wanted to be a pilot and a hero. If he can’t be a hero for real, he will play…

Another one of my Links! The Cardinal Hero, nicknamed Conductor. He's the Toon Link that appears in HW and represents his timeline's version of all the Adult Timeline Links.
Some notes on him under the cut
As previously stated, he's WW + PH + ST. C^21 runs on my personal timeline theory so he's an interpretation of how that Adult Timeline could go down
His Hero title comes from the four cardinal directions, as they're very important for traveling, whether that be land or sea
Nickname is because he both conducts the wind and is a train conductor. It's win/win!
"The design I have in mind for him snowballed into making him sharp-tongued and cocky so he's just Like That now" - actual quote from my word document
Granted, he's not totally insufferable, just know that he was notably worse before the Valley of Seers fiasco. The War of Ages overall smoothed out his more... undesirable qualities a bit. But his pride took the most hits
He and Young Link (don't have a good nickname for him rn) were on the same platoon (?) so they're close. But Conductor was/is a bad influence 😂
Back to his design tho, I wanted to lean into the "royal" in "royal engineer" so I gave him a suit which is technically his uniform. His conductor hat is kind of required even during the War tho to help tell him and Union apart
Obligatory Toon Link Swirl on his vest bc I said so
He has a coat with tails but only really wears it to meetings. Or it's cold. Or he wants to flex
The greaves are questionable and I might remove them
One last thing: @skyward-floored you asked for him!
#conductor (the cardinal hero)#courage^21#zelda au#my art#i have a slightly more detailed explanation on the valley of seers thing but didn't know how to fit it smoothly#and i apologize for the pic quality#this was after I cleaned it up 😂#also that triangle pin on his collar does change sides depending on what he's wearing#he's a three-time hero and low-key government official he kinda has to keep up appearances#btw i aged him up to explain the 3 adventures plus sailing around looking for a new landmass and taking the time to learn about ✨trains✨

Following the success of the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, naturally a sequel was planned... a sequel that was actually a World War Two-based prequel, going by the title of Roger Rabbit II: The Toon Platoon.
The project eventually fell through, but the script says the film (linked here) would have covered Roger’s hunt for his biological mother after his human adoptive parents reveal that he’s a Toon, his meeting with radio star/future wife Jessica, cameos by FDR, Churchill and Stalin, and Roger’s trip to Occupied Europe to rescue Jessica after she’s kidnapped by the Nazis, who intended to force her into a propaganda role, a la Lord Haw-Haw or Tokyo Rose.
Oh, and film also revealed of who Roger’s dad was...
According to Yesterworld Entertainment, Steven Spielberg was originally planned to direct but decided to pass due to the comedic depiction of Nazis.
I’m... Actually kind of curious how this would have gone, as an early moment in Who Framed... included some details from this approximate period (the film takes place in the late 1940s roughly a decade after Toon Patrol would have been set) during an early sweep of human protagonist Eddie Valiant’s office.
Some of these moments including the reveal that Eddie and his brother apparently saved Donald Duck’s nephews from a kidnapping and the brothers helping clear Goofy from being falsely accused of being a Nazi spy, which is kind of funny.
BONUS FACT: In addition to being a successful radio actress prior to Roger even starting his showbiz career (his getting his first job in a cartoon is another event covered in the film), we also learn Jessica’s maiden name: Krupnick. Which means that, in universe, Jessica might be Jewish apparently?

Aww, glad you like the headcanon! I realised that Lola is sometimes used as a nickname for Dolores, and once I had that thought I couldn't unthink it! ;-)
In fact, I've been thinking about the possibilities of Roger and Jessica Rabbit being parents quite a bit recently.
In the novel Who P-P-P-Plugged Roger Rabbit? (published after the film), Roger and Jessica have triplets! Eddie Valiant describes them thus:
The girl was the spitting image of Jessica, the bunny a spitting image of Roger. Then there was the baby boy. He was spitting, period.
The bunny's gender isn't specified, but I like to think she was a girl, and I like to think she grew up to be Lola Bunny. (Granted, Lola doesn't look identical to Roger, but she's got enough of his features, like the puffy cheeks and the tuft of hair on the head, that they could believably be related.)
So now I wonder who the girl and boy would grow up to be. I think the girl would go on to play Megara in Hercules and the boy would go on to play Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Just because they're both redheads like Roger and Jessica.
Quasimodo's real name would probably be Edward, as a tribute to Eddie Valiant, just as Lola's name would be a tribute to Dolores. I'm not sure what Megara's real name would be. Maybe Carol, as a reference to Carol Masters, Roger's photographer from Who Censored Roger Rabbit?
(I kind-of like the idea of Roger and Jessica naming their children after important humans in their lives. Toons can potentially live forever, but humans can't, so the Rabbits naming their kids after their human friends would be a way for the memory of those friends to live on.)
In addition to those triplets, one issue of the official Roger Rabbit comic had Roger and Jessica going to a delivery service run by storks in order to start a family. When Roger said he thought Ryan would be a good name for a kid, someone misheard him as saying "rhino", and so the storks delivered a baby rhino instead of a baby rabbit. It rampaged through the house, and it was chaos.
In the end, the baby rhino was taken away and adopted by Mr and Mrs Rupert Rhino, but I think it would have been cool if Roger and Jessica had kept him and raised him. Just imagine - it's a few years later, you're due to meet a Mr Ryan Rabbit about an acting gig, you're expecting a short rabbit like his father Roger, and then this enormous rhino charges into the room and knocks everything over. There's comedy potential in that!
Roger, Jessica and Ryan would look so odd together - a rabbit married to a humanoid with a rhino son - but they could prove that families don't have to look identical for there to be true love!
So that's four kids for Roger and Jessica, potentially. I'd like there to be a fifth. Because then the five kids would be "shave and a haircut", and their parents would be "two bits". I can imagine Jessica counting the kids, herself and Roger to make sure everyone's present and correct, and she'd go, "Shave and a haircut, two..." and pause and then cry, "Where's Bits?" and Roger would call out, "Over here!" and he'd be stuck up a tree for reasons best known to himself.
Who would the fifth kid be? Another rabbit, I think. Potentially Bunnie Rabbot from Sonic SatAM?
Or maybe Judy Hopps from Zootopia! She's got a name beginning with J, like Jessica, and that would go with Ryan and Roger having names beginning with R. Also, Judy's fur is grey, and the scrapped prequel script Toon Platoon had a reveal that Bugs Bunny was Roger's father, so maybe Judy would inherit grey fur from her grandfather. And maybe Judy started out as a hand-drawn toon and then had CGI surgery, like Dale in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers film, to star in Zootopia.
(Although, if Bugs was Roger's father, and Lola was Roger's daughter, then Lola kissing Bugs in Space Jam would be incredibly awkward, even if it was just acting, as she'd be kissing her grandfather. Whoops.)
TL;DR I headcanon that Roger and Jessica Rabbit have five children:
Ryan - a rhino, the first child, and also the only child to be adopted
Carol - the oldest triplet, who played Megara in Hercules
Dolores, nicknamed Lola - the middle triplet, who played herself in Space Jam
Edward - the youngest triplet, who played Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Judy - the fifth and youngest child, who had CGI surgery to star in Zootopia
when I was a kid for some reason I thought Lola Bunny's last name was "Rabbit" and that she was actually Jessica and Roger's daughter. And the reason she wasn't in the original Loony Tunes is just that she wasn't born yet
I mean can you blame me. Look them and look at her. She's got a good blend of both of their features.
