German space rock/psychedelic rock band

"The Spacelords" have released a new album

"Unknown Species" on the label "Tonzonen

Records ". The limited edition record is

available in the Red, Yellow Splatter version. In

Germany there is no need to introduce the

band from Reutlingen, they belong to the

spearhead of the German scene with their epic,

improvised space rock. Band members

Matthias "Hazi" Wettstein (guitarist), Marcus

Schnitzler (vocals and drums) and bassist

Ekhard Friedrich "Akee" Kazmaier present

themselves full of energy on their new studio

album. Their ever refined space rock of

massive drum grooves, heavy bass vibes and

varied guitar work results in a hypnotic psych/

prog/space mixture with flowing stoner

ingredients that unfolds purely instrumental.

Their new album emphasizes the cosmic

element with its 3 long tracks between 8 and

21 min. but also offers the familiar spacerock

magic known from this band.
