eddsworld future fankids of mine! they exist during the time of red leader n shit

Teya is a tomtord child. she's well taken care of obviously but her parents have a very unhealthy relationship so she's kind of screwed on role models. she loves energy drinks cause they keep her energy up and she gets fatigued real easy which isn't much fun. she sneaks out a lot, mostly to hang with her girlfriend Mari

Mari's dad is Eduardo, who raised her with Mark's help because her mother left them when she saw Mari's third eye. she had this third eye because of the latent radiation still in Eduardo's body when he had her, also causing her green streaks in hair (she does dye them to make the green stronger though). she sees both the men who raised her as her dads and loves them, but you know who she doesn't love? Teya's parents. she hates them lmao

Iris is Edd's daughter, with some woman who dipped pretty quick after she was born because she didn't want to do that with her life. so Edd's a single dad as well as spearheading the resistance against the Red Regime, which is hard on both of them to say the least. but Iris learns to be clever and resourceful, and speaks a bunch of languages n does cool shit. she's very self described cyberpunk. when she's about 15-16 Edd has to do something life threatening, but doesn't want her involved, so he takes a risk. he finds Eduardo's house, and he hasn't talked to him in decades, and finds that he's happy and domestic and has a daughter of his own. he pretty quickly convinces him to take Iris in for a while, and Iris and Mari become fast friends since they're temporary foster sisters. imagine her surprise when she finds Mari's dating the daughter of the enemy lol

Nina is a paultryk kid, and she has a complicated relationship with her parents. cause when they had her they sent her away so some old friends of theirs could take care of her so yknow. she wouldn't have to deal with the horrors of war. cause they trusted red leader but they had no clue how he'd treat a kid that's not his and they were not letting their daughter get drafted. so she grew up with these foster parents who tried to give her a regular degular childhood, but she knew very well what her real dads did for a job and she wasn't a big fan. as she got older she gave them the cold shoulder during visits, and generally spoke less and less, learning sign language because she didn't want to talk. eventually paul and pat got busted by red leader and had to reveal this 15 year old kid to him, scared of his wrath a bit- there was no wrath, in fact he positively mother henned Nina and had her brought in to live in the Red Army Headquarters. she wasn't happy about this new development, and especially not about getting forced to be friends with Teya, but she did eventually warm up to the wildly energetic girl. naturally this led to her joining a group chat with Iris and Mari, and basically creating a no barriers friendship quartet behind everyone's backs

The real reason why Tord might of left

I'm sure you guys heard of the supposing reason on why Tord left Eddsworld. It is said that he left because of fangirls harassing him and stalking him. It is also said that he left due to ship art but I'm here to debunk that.

Keep in mind, I'm not saying that he wasn't harassed in the first place. I'm just here to debunk some parts of the rumor.

While it is true that he was harassed, that wasn't what made him leave. The harassment started after he left, if you pay attention to the hate groups and stuff, you can see that most of them were made about a month or year after he left. People were assholes to him though.

Fun fact: That's actually a friend of Edd! She's done a lot of gifts, commissions, and art trades for fangirls in the past!

Anyways, it is said that he left because of fangirls. That's not really true, he didn't have a lot of fangirls back then, Edd did. He did have them but all of the guys had them, he was a fan favorite for sure but compared to Edd, he didn't have that much fangirls. I couldn't find any screenshots or proof of him being stalked either. Also, if that's truly the reason why he left then why would Edd favorite fangirl ship art on his Deviantart?

..... Yeah, I don't think he would support a group that apprently made his friend left?? Also, yes I crossed out their names. I don't want them to get involved in this. Oh, and before you say "Oh that's just who he used to date!", I'm pretty sure he never had a realationship before. Plus, most of these OCs and fangirls were teenagers back then.

Anyways, this is about Tord. Not Edd, I was just using examples and evidence to somewhat back up my claims lol

Now to the final part: the REAL reason why he left!

The reason why he left was because of depression and mental issues. He also had a girlfriend who tried to CHEAT on him with Edd..... Don't worry, Edd refused btw

It is likely that he left to get help considering that he tried to kill himself once. Edd never mentioned any stalking, ships, or harassment. Tom did mentioned Tord being harassed but that video was made after Edd's death. Tord got harassed after his tribute video to Edd.

Why did I make this post? Because I find rumors like this to be very harmful to the person the rumor is about. Also, I have seen a lot of fankids and shippers being harassed, threaten, and having to feel like a peace of shit due to liking or shipping Tord and I don't like minors going through hell because of something that is basically a part of childhood. Hopefully this post doesn't cause any harm or drama but instead clearing some stuff out.
