Imagine the only reason his name is Timothy is for some funny reason (Nurse misheard and wrote the wrong name on the Birth Certificate, Bruce fucked up and forgot what names they chose out of tiredness, etc.)

But they never have another kid. Jeremiah and him adopt so many and their family grows but they never have Thomas.

Jeremiah soon leaves, insanity calling at him due to the chemicals. And he holds Timmy and tells him the story of his name and listens to his giggles.

And he refuses to grieve Miah loss in front of Tim but he does let Jerome tell Tim all about how Timmy was supposed to have a baby brother named Tommy.

And stories are painted for the little boy with Miah's brain, all about his dada and how much he loved him, adventures and quests from the clown twin.

And Joker dances around with a baby doll and switches between Timmy and Tommy as the name. He doesn't understand why it seems to fit or why he acts so gentle with it when most of the time, seeing a baby makes him want to throw it across the apartment.

But he curls in the corner and cradles the doll, crying and begging the shadows not to take him. He doesn't know the name of the doll half of the time. But he can't lose him. Not the last thing of...'B'.

Jesus Household Headcanons

A/N: I know that in Heaven Hears, I mentioned that Jeremiah’s wife died giving birth, but I really wanted a happy and alive Jesus family in this one.

Jeremiah was the stereotypical Church boy who somehow managed to become best friends with the Peaky Blinders and the Shelby family. When he finished school, Rose got Arthur Sr to give him a job as a bookkeeper 

He met his wife, Angela, at Church when he was twenty-ish, He was a flustered mess, bless him, stuttering and faffing with his shirt sleeve. Angela, however, is all confidence and smirks (where else did Isaiah get it from?) as she asked him to go to the pictures with her

The rest is pretty much history. They were the cutest couple in Small Heath, giving each other pet names and picking up flowers for their dates

When they got married, Rose Shelby asked whether he’d got her up the duff, resulting in a whole lot of Good Christian Boy jokes that the entire Shelby clan tease him about- even Pol!

Angela found it funny when the Shelbys came over to eat, cause they could never stand the spices and her and Jeremiah would have to bite their lips to suppress their giggles as she asked if Tommy wanted another glass of water

Isaiah was a miracle baby. Because of a previous illness, they didn’t think Angela could get pregnant. Suffice to say, there was a massive celebration at the Garrison when the doctors confirmed it, and Jeremiah just could not stop smiling

He was born on Christmas Day 1905, and Angela thought it was appropriate that his middle name was Nicholas (Jeremiah didn’t really care what they called him, as long as his baby boy was safe in his arms)

The Shelby brothers take the absolute piss out of him for that and always make fun of the Church boy with Jesus’ name born on Jesus’ birthday. They didn’t stop as Isaiah got older, either, always nicknaming him ‘Emmanuel’ and ‘Christ child’, and John being the little shit he is would also hum like an organ tune under his breath whenever Angela rolled little Isaiah into Watery Lane in his little stroller

Despite the jokes, they all loved Isaiah (especially teenager John, who kept on saying he was going to be the best big brother to little Siah) and Polly always invited Angela around, letting Michael play with the baby, both of them saying how their boys were going to be best friends when they grow up

Since Jeremiah is Jamaican and Angela is a light-skinned black woman who doesn’t know her roots, they raise Isaiah with a blend of their two different cultures, teaching him to be proud of his heritage and his skin colour (he took after his mum in that area too)

Isaiah was a huge mamma’s boy when he was younger, but when Jeremiah came home from war, he never left his side

Finn and Isaiah grew up playing together, since their families were close, and the age difference never seemed to bother them until Isaiah became a teenager and started hanging out more with kids his age, and Michael when he came back

When Jeremiah went to war, he was inconsolable, spending most of the time with Finn, who was equally as distressed for his brothers and uncle. They went to the Cut to cry where no one could see, but then they always went back to Angela, who would hug them both and tell them that it wasn’t unmanly to cry, and then make them some food to get them to smile

Two months after they went to war, Angela found out she was pregnant (there was a huge baby boom that year...I think you can figure out why)

Jeremiah cried when he found out. He was so upset that he wouldn’t be there when the baby was born, or see the baby grow up in those first few years

John was there to console him, as he understood with four kids waiting at home for him, especially the newborn Katie

“We might miss those firsts, mate, and it will be fuckin’ awful when we go back and there’s our child who’s grown so much without us...but, the thing is, we’re fighting for them, Miah. We’re fighting so they can live and so we can go back an be a part of their lives.”

Delilah Rose Jesus was born on Easter Day 1915

As expected, the boys in the trenches took the piss out of him for that too

Isaiah would always write to his dad about how he was taking care of his little sister, writing things like “Mum let me hold Lilah today when we went to the betting shop and she said I did a really good job, supporting her head and keeping her safe, even if she weighs as much as a sack of potatoes” and, he proudly read this out to the Shelby brothers: “Finn wanted to hold Lilah today but I wouldn’t let him. He had a right paddy but  I reminded him about the Nativity incident and that my baby sister wasn’t plastic and would do more than melt if he dropped her in the candles!”

When they got home, Jeremiah immediately quit his job at the betting shop (he worked the books like his son would eventually take up) to become a preacher. This meant he could stay at home and look after Delilah and Isaiah when Angela went to teach at the local school, and he’d even bring the four year old along when he walked down Small Heath, teaching her the Bible as he recited phrases for everyone to hear

Being black in the 1920s wasn't easy, but with the Shelby protection, the family were always safe. When Isaiah got older, he started working the books in the betting shop and earned himself a cap to keep him and his family safe- it didn’t matter what colour your skin was, no one messed with a Blinder

Although Isaiah did enjoy a lot of the perks of being a Blinder (drinking, girls, parties, snow), his parents were both very proud of him and never tried to tell him he was wrong or sinning (although Jeremiah was always very worried about his son, staying up until he heard him come home)

Alongside his work at the betting shop, Isaiah also helped his dad out at the Church as a youth worker for the kids. Delilah was a part of the group, so he started it out to keep an eye on her, but ended up really enjoying teaching these little kids about the Bible and, since the group had a lot of ethnic minorities in it, he loved being a role model for them and teaching them that God loves them and their skin colour, just as his mum and  dad taught him

Delilah looks a lot like her dad with darker skin and her hair always up in braids since it gets in her face too much otherwise. She was a bit wild, always running about with John’s kids and having fun outdoors, and she loves Charlie’s Yard. She wants to be a mechanic when she’s older, so she always gets Charlie or Arthur to show her how things work

Angela gets Delilah to fix broken clocks and the like, sitting at the table as she watched her daughter take them apart and put them back together

As Isaiah got a better position in the Peaky Blinders and more money, he started to bring back little treats for his family. He bought his dad the rosary that he always wears after Jeremiah’s old one was broken in war. He likes to buy his mum flowers and little pretty things that caught his eye. For Delilah, he got her soft toys and mechanical things for her to wind up and play about with

The Jesus family were happy. There was a lot of danger in their life, with the discrimination in Birmingham and the razor blades in their son’s cap, but they had each other, and that was all that mattered.

I can't give you anything Jonathan centric (that isn't Tommy/Jonathan, one of my fave rarepairs) but Jerome features in lots of my AUs.

This one is one of my faves that's entirely self-indulgent and if it ever gets written it's probably gonna be the longest fic I ever published (Again: If it ever gets written):

I gotta apologize in advance, it's just a fun little AU I haven't put too much thoughts into in terms of plotting so this is gonna be A. Long, B. Messy and C. A little chaotic

- First off, you gotta understand that @nsfwitchy2 Me had some fun with a pretty nonsensical and definitely not canon-compliant AU where Jerome and Jeremiah have three Mums (Tabby, Lee and Barbara, who all date) and live with them and Barbara Lee as their little sister.

- Ecco also lives with them, she sees herself as both the twins' gf more than a genuine part of the family tho (for now)

- (Meanwhile at Wayne Manor Alfred and Jim date and are very tired parents of Bruce and his clone 514A, in this AU - and pretty much every AU - nicknamed Brook)

- (Selina kinda goes back and forth between living at Wayne Manor or at Lee's place)

- Also, everyone dates. The twins. The clones. Eccomiah, Jecco, Batcat, Valeyne, Wayleska, they're all fucking

- Which isn't THAT important for this particular AU but I figured I'd give a warning xD

- This is mostly my attempt to give Tabitha some more backstory? Just...how I personally see her character and how I could see her end up if things would've went differently after S2

- The google docs file is called 'How Tabitha started being a Mum while disregarding canon completely' lmao

- Like her current life involves having 4 kids (if you count Selina) and two wives and that's a hell of an AU and I just like to overthink things and play with the way things would have needed to have gone in canon to have her 'end up' like this

- Also I can see her struggling with having a family all if a sudden (that isn't a manipulative brother or a weird cult)

-Especially if that involves Motherhood

- So on one hand it's a 'S2 until now' fic, explaining what happened to her in my canon

- But also - mostly because I find that easier to organize in my brain - it's interwoven with a 5+1-esque fic of all her children calling her 'Mum' (and her getting emotional over that)

- So it switches back and forth between the past and the present but for rambling's sake, I'll start with the past

- She still leaves Theo behind and flees with Silver but she keeps Silver close instead of immediately sending her away

- And her and Silver get taken in by Fish after they leave Theo because they have nowhere to go and Fish loves taking care of strays

- (Fish, who probably didn't end up in Indian Hill but rather lives in hiding until she is ready to strike against Penguin)

- She refers to herself as Liza's Mother in canon, you can't tell me she wouldn't instantly adopt Tabby and call her 'Honey' and give her motherly advice while Tabby tries to be all bite but actually enjoys somebody taking care of her for once

- Selina🤝Tabby

'Trying so very hard all the time to not show how soft and insecure they are'

- Actually, I'd start diverting from Canon even sooner aksnsjd

- Well not full on changing canon, but I'd...pepper in some stuff

- Like some scenes of her back with Theo and the Maniax

- Mostly her talking to Theo about Jerome's planned murder, which, yeah, she knows it's been set in stone from the beginning but that doesn't mean that she isn't talking about alternatives where he doesn't get killed off

- And Theo's like "Don't tell me you're going soft. No one will miss him. He was just a boy. Not worthy enough to be remembered."

- And later on she betrays him and goes 'I remember him'

- Anyway, they stay with Fish for a while but Tabby doesn't wanna keep Silver in Gotham

- So she sends her back to the school she went to before coming to Gotham with Theo (but makes sure their weird cult can't get their hands on her there)

- And Silver wants her to come with but Tabby says she has some unfinished business

- Aka she just doesn't wanna leave Barbara (who is in a coma atm, if Memory serves right)

- And Tabby's reasoning is that it's not safe in Gotham but really, she thinks she can't be responsible for another person

- "She needs a mother. A Family. I can't give her that." - "You are her family."

- So Silver's out of the picture and Tabby hangs with Fish until Barbara wakes up and they get together again (and never ever seperate)

- Also there's no Butch/Tabby because that was unnecessary as fuck

- And I gotta be honest, I haven't thought more about canon because Butch/Tabby alone makes my head hurt already but somehow they start dating Lee

- Who brings Jerome into the relationship because I sure am fond of Lee being Jerome's Mother (like as in, I have several wips with that concept alone not counting this one)

- Jerome probably came back to life after S3 and Lee fought to have him not be treated like a violent criminal but rather a child who was taken advantage of and after his release from Arkham (where she visited him and made sure he got some proper treatment) it seemed natural to have him live with her

- (But also he's still a criminal aksnsjs, you can see how much I thought about this)

- (Sue me for sticking to the heartfelt scenes and avoiding the mess that is plotting)

- Tabby and Barbara already had Selina and through Jerome, Jeremiah and Ecco were added et voila! Their Family is complete

- (Why exactly Barbara Lee exists if Tabby and Barbara have been non-stop dating since S2 I can't tell you, I simply think she is neat and I like the idea of big brother Jerome)

- (This AU? Self-indulgent? Why would you ever think that?)

- In the present however she is dealing with what is mostly referred to as 'feelings'

- Mostly panic at realizing that the bunch of weird children she's been living with are seeing her as some kind of parental figure

- Because suddenly they all call her 'Mum'

- Unsurprisingly the first one to call her Mum is Jerome at breakfast

- She's reading the newspaper and there's an article about a hostage situation the twins planned and he goes 'Mum, are you done with that? Can we see?'

- And they snatch it from her and argue about how they didn't even make the front page while Tabby nearly chokes on her coffee

- And of course she breaks down talks to her wives about it later while they get ready for bed because no one ever called her 'Mum' before

- Barbara's braiding her hair, while Lee's off to the side, getting ready for bed and it's very domestic and I am very gay

- But neither see it as a big deal because both of them have been called Mum before (by Jerome at least. Like. Immediately upon meeting them)

- So she's trying to be nonchalant about it because it's only a big deal if she makes it one

- While also not being able to deny the warm feeling that spreads throughout her body when Jerome keeps calling her 'Mum'

- Miah and Selina on the other hand are both hesitant to call anyone Mum

- Miah cause of Pride, Selina cause of her Mummy Issues

- But they both do at some point

- I think I have more notes on this SOMEWHERE but I kinda wanna have Miah call her Mum while he's ill (because we all know he'd be super fussy and want attention 24/7)

- So she humours him and while he's close to falling asleep - and she's totally not carding her fingers through his hair because she isn't soft or anything - he mumbles: "Thank you Mum" and she melts

- Selina would be more angsty

- Like, maybe it's her birthday and she disappears for a while (as she tends to do) but Tabby (who's closest to her) knows how hard this day is for her (since again her Mum isn't there with here and looks for her and brings her back home but doesn't make a big fuss out of her birthday

- Just...lets her be, gives her space but also lets her curl up close to her and maybe Selina doesn't call her Mum on that exact day

- But it's the day she realizes she wouldn't mind calling Tabitha her Mother, so she hesitantly tries it out a while later (maybe days, maybe weeks, however long it takes for her to feel comfortable with it) and they share a smile

- Then there's Barbara Lee, but she barely counts because she's a toddler and calls everyone 'Mummy'

- Even her father ajsnsnsn

- The last one would be Ecco because I have a very soft spot for Tabby and Ecco being close

- Ecco's rather formal with them for the longest time (she calls Barbara, Lee and Tabby 'Ma'am' for the most part because she may like them, but she doesn't think they see her as family. She's just the token girlfriend).

- So there's a scene where they connect, possibly over Tabby's hand and Ecco's head since I hc that Ecco gets headaches and migraines a lot (considering that she still gets shot in the head by Miah, like I said, this AU isn't necessarily the most bullet proof in terms of linear timelines)

- But so is Gotham so-

- So there's possibly a scene where Ecco's headache is getting super bad and no one's around (especially not Miah to dote on her) and Tabby awkwardly tries to bond by telling her about her hand and how she can't feel much (is a little clumsy with it) and Ecco immediately imprints on her like a duckling

- Maybe it's even the first time anyone reached out to Ecco in a way that feels genuine, especially without the twins or any of her (various) other partners being present so now she's willing to die for Tabby

- Which ends in her also calling her 'Mum' (while she keeps calling Lee and Barbara 'Ma'am' and Lee's so mad ajsnsjdj she was trying so hard to bond with this kid but couldn't quite get it right and you're telling her her socially pretty clumsy - but still wonderful of course - wife managed with just one conversation?? Slander

- And of course because I can't stop myself, there would be even more tidbits here and there of Tabby overcoming her previous way of living (as in, thinking caring or showing emotions is weakness) by having her reminisce a LOT about Theo

- For example by having Jerome climb into bed with her while Barbara's sleeping and Tabby is waiting for Lee to come home

- Lee works as a doc in the narrows which may be a little illegal, but the people didn't just stop needing help after her Queen of the Narrows arc was over, so I vote she keeps at it (and is held in very high regard for it by pretty much everyone)

- Tabby always stays up until everyone is home because she likes knowing where everyone is and that they're safe while Jerome has frequent nightmares and wanders around the house, so this isn't a rare occurrence

- And sometimes, they talk Theo

- "You miss him?" - "Don't know."

- "I wish he was still alive so I could kill him." - "....Me too." - "Which one?" - "...Both."

- (ajajsbssj this is all just copy pasted and cleaned up a lil', leave me and my pretentious way of writing dialogue alone)

- Tabby also has a lot of interludes where she thinks about what growing up with Theo was like/her childhood in general

- How she always protected him from other children bullying him and how they swore to have each other's back but how in hindsight, she was the one doing all the dirty work for him, helping him fulfill his dream and enact his revenge

- Realizing that he probably never cared for her, not like she cared for him

- There's also allusions to them having sex because you cannot tell me they did NOT have sex

- And it ends with Tabby realizing that she is quite happy with how she ended up, even if it's neither how she thought she would ever live nor what her old self would've even wanted, possibly seeing too many attachments as 'weak' judging by the way she canonly used Butch for convenience sake at first

- And yeah, maybe now she can provide the family - the Mother - somebody else desperately needs

- So she brings Silver home

Rick Jeschke Deliz is an American / Puerto Rican musical director, guitarist, band member, session and touring side musician with 30+ years of experience.

Born in the city of Erie, Pennsylvania and raised in Isabela, Puerto Rico. Rick also resided in Los Angeles and is currently living in Mexico City. He has toured Mexico, Europe, USA, the Caribbean, Canada, Central & South America.

Rick is a founder and guitarist/singer for SECRET AGENT (Psy Spy Instro Surf) and performs in Mexico as a side musician with Masters And Sinners (who features Gustavo Rowek (ex-Rata Blanca). Dave Evans (ex-AC/DC), Neil Turbin (ex-Anthrax) plus Green Jellÿ, Marcela Viejo (ex-Quiero Club) and Devotional The Depeche Mode Experience.

Rick has been working from 2016-2019 as the Musical Director/Guitarist for the Magneto + Mercurio ‘Juntos Para Ti’ Tour. Rick recorded their live CD/DVD released on SONY (which has received a Gold Record).

Rick previously toured as Musical Director / Guitarist for Latin Pop artists Belinda (EMI), Christian Castro (BMG), Aneeka (Universal), Magneto (Sony) and toured as a guitarist with Ha*Ash (Sony) from 2008-2014. Rick has worked with over 125+ artists/bands since he started playing.

Rick also plays guitar for the Grammy, MTV and Billboard nominated Punk Metal Comedy Rock band GREEN JELLŸ (of ‘Three Little Pigs’ fame). Rick also joined THE MELOVSKYS that same year under his stage name ‘Dr Hell’ and performed with them live for 5 years- his first show being the Goliath Festival 2009 (alternating with Black Eyed Peas & Justice) and his last one before leaving the band was the Vive Latino Festival 2015 (opening for Robert Plant & Interpol) in Mexico City.

Surrounded by family members who plays musical instruments, interest struck and Rick started learning guitar in his mid-teens studying with the Doug Marks instructional cassettes, Guitar World/ Player guitar magazines and listening to groups such as Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Funkadelic, The Beatles, The Police, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Misfits, Black Flag, The Cure, The Ventures, Bob Marley and experiencing concerts from Miles Davis, Buckethead to the Ramones.

In 1992 Rick graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Music from the Inter-American University of San Germán, Puerto Rico. He continued his studies and graduated in 1993 from the Musicians Institute (G.I.T.) in Hollywood, California with renowned guitar instructors Carl Verheyen, Scott Henderson, Keith Wyatt, Ross Bolton†, Russ Parish, Dan Gilbert, David Oakes and Tommy Tedesco†.

After graduating G.I.T., he started his career as a side musician with Latin Pop /Rock artists, which he continues to the present day. Rick’s favorite musical styles to play are a mix of Rock, Surf, Hardcore Punk, Indie, Dub, Psychedelic, Classic Rock, Funk, Reggae, EDM, Hard Rock, Metal, Rockabilly, Spaghetti Western and Blues.

This essay is going to study the current situation and history of drug use in sports. From the history and current situation of drug use, this essay will analyze the difficulties in anti-doping.

According to historical records, from the 300 BC, athletes of the ancient Olympic Games have drunken brandy, mixed drink wine, or edible mushrooms, to gain additional “power” so as to win the competition. Some athletes even mixed alkaloids with alcohol to make them exciting. However, at that time, this was not forbidden by law. In modern times, in order to win in games the practice of taking all kinds of drinks and supplements is still popular. In the 19th century, there are many records about game players doping and most of these had occurred before the first modern Olympic Games held in 1896. In 1865, in a swimming competition held in Amsterdam, the first report about athletes taking doping was reported. At that time, Europeans often held a kind of bicycle competition which would last for 144 hours, 6 days in total. This competition is energy consuming. It was reported that during the six days the Belgian players ate a kind of sugar which had been soaked in a special drug. Otherwise, in order to contend with them French athletes took caffeine tablets. While, British athletes inhaled pure oxygen and took strychnine, heroin and cocaine. In short, these athletes took all means to win. The secret of these bike athletes soon spread to the whole sports world. At the end of the 19th century, some boxing athletes usually had a drink before the game and took strychnine or other drugs.

The first death in sports related to athletes taking doping occurred in 1886. It was a British cyclist. He died of an overdose of drugs. The doping crisis affected the modern Olympic Games for the first time was happened in the 1904 Olympic Games in st. Louis. The American marathon runner Thomas Hicks took a large dose of strychnine mixed with egg white during the competition which gave rise to his falling down after crossing the finish line. Even students, the night shift workers, truck drivers took it to cope with their sleepiness and tiredness. In the 1950s, the number of athletes taking doping increased sharply. In 1952, the winter Olympic Games was held in Oslo, Norway. It is the first time about Benzedrine doping incidents. Several speed skating athletes who had taken Benzedrine collapsed in the preliminaries.

In the history of Olympic Games, the famous “Benzedrine tragedy” finally happened. In the 1960 Rome Olympics, Danish cyclist, DE Jason died in road cycling race. It was reported that Jason had taking mixture of alcohol and Benzedrine before the competition. Jason’s death made international Olympic committee (IOC) determined to carry out the anti-doping movement. In 1961, the IOC Medical Commission was founded in Athens, Greece. In 1964, the Tokyo Olympic Games there was a terrible situation. The bathroom of athletes was full of ampoule and discarded syringes. In 1967, the British history’s most outstanding cyclist, the 1965 world champion Tommy Simpson died on the 13th day of the Tour de France. People in the pocket of his sportswear found Benzedrine. Simpson’s death shocked many people, however, the tragedy did not come to an end. The number of deaths due to the misuse of drugs was still growing. Under this situation, the international Olympic committee in1968, Grenoble Winter Olympic Games and Mexico Summer Olympic Games firstly officially implemented a doping test in all games. However, due to the deformation of the modern athletic sports development, the doping began to spread wildly all over the world. In 1972 Munich Olympics after the shooting, 13 out of the 17 athletes who ranked ahead’s doping test result is positive. Because the number of athletes using illegal drugs was too large the relevant parties did not dare to cancel these athletes’ qualification for the competition. Because of doping tests can easily tell whether athletes have taken the Benzedrine, till the early 1970 s, athletes’ using of drugs has been significantly reduced. But the athletes have never stopped trying all kinds of other drugs.

Since 1970s, blood doping which has been used for military purposes during the World War II has been used in big games. This was originally applied to athletes by a Swedish expert. Later this method became popular throughout the sports world of Europe. The so-called blood doping is that athletes draw some of the blood out of their bodies and preserve it. Before games they inject these blood back into their body. By doing this they can increase the number of red blood cells so that there will be more oxygen for muscles and can improve exercise capacity. After the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, blood doping aroused people’s attention. According to the United States Olympic committee, athletes in the Los Angeles Olympic cycling team at least 7 players had taken blood doping and four of them obtained medals. Soon after this, the international Olympic committee banned on the use of blood doping.

With the development of science and technology, drugs are also constantly changing for athletes want to win. In fact, many athletes in order to avoid inspection start to take anabolic steroids which cannot be detected at that time. This drug can increase the synthesis of protein, promote muscular and improve the strength and endurance. Because the accurate and reliable detection method has not been found, the international Olympic committee banned the use of anabolic steroids in 1975. In the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, a total of 11 athletes’ doping test result is positive, 8 of them taking anabolic steroids. After entering the 1990s, the international Olympic committee takes various measures to strengthen the anti-doping struggle and there is a drop in the number of athletes taking illicit drugs. Because anabolic steroids can not escape detection any more. In recent years, more and more athletes use HGH, a kind of growth hormone which will not be tested. Growth hormone can increase muscle size, thereby enhancing strength. It has become a substitute for anabolic steroids and all the sports events have athletes use this drug. Another banned drugs widely used is erythropoietin (EPO) for there is no accurate and reliable detective method to test it. It can increase hemoglobin levels so as to improve the effect of oxygen-carrying capacity. It is reported that due to the detection means lag behind, until 2000, the athletes widely take EPO. This situation has drawn concern of the international Olympic committee. Under the joint efforts of the international Olympic committee and international researchers, detective method of EPO has finally achieved breakthrough progress. While the new method has been put into use, scientists did not stop there, continuing to study the detective method in order to improve detective technology. On December 7th, 2000, for the first time, short course swimming in Melbourne fina competition had the EPO blood test. The application of the high and new technology and new breakthrough has not only confined to the Olympic games. In the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Games, EPO blood test and urine test are combined. There were three skiing athletes were found taking drugs by the use of the second generation of EPO blood test. In 2009, French anti-doping agency uses the hair testing means to test if athletes use illegal drugs.

Conclusion

From the history of drug use and the anti-doping movement, it is easy to understand that although many anti-doping organizations, countries, researchers have try to find all kinds of measures to test the doping use during sports competitions, the phenomenon of doping taking still exists. On August 24, 2012, USADA strips Lance Armstrong of all Tour de France titles and bans him for life from competition. This may be the most influential case. And still on July 3, 2014, The NFL announces that Miami Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan has been suspended from four 2014 season games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. Although the world anti-doping agency put forward a framework policy to prevent drug use and medical technology has been improved, law enforcement is still a huge problem. Richard L. Bengt (2008) thinks that a more practical way should be taken to control the use of drugs.
