Fashion is unfathomable because simple functional beauty alone is not enough.

Rick Owens nylon jacket

Leather is not the only thing that Rick Owens excels at. This nylon blouson is also an item that fully demonstrates the brand’s value.

It is made of extremely fine black nylon with a silky texture.

The body and sleeves are quite tight-fitting and long. All of these choices are based on the designer's unwavering aesthetic sense. It is a challenging piece that achieves a new reality without relying on the rugged charm of military wear.

Takahiro Miyashita, who left Number Nine, and Kazuki Kuraishi, who works as the creative product manager for Adidas, are the two of them in their collaboration with Levis®. As the name suggests, this is an attempt to move iconic details that are normally on the right side, such as the red tab, two-horse patch, and back pocket, to the left side. Three types of items are available: a jacket, a shirt, and bottoms. They come in three materials: indigo, off-white, and gray, and feature round necks and stand-up collars. They are trying to break down established values with their innovative reality.

The theme for the 2010-11 A/W collection is "Avakareta Life." In other words, what they faced was "unadorned everyday life," and this attitude has come to fruition in these items. It is also a statement of protest against fashion that lacks passion and only leans toward simplification. It is not enough to be simple; it is only when exciting designs are added to it that there is meaning in continuing to create.

Two hats were released: Pork Pie and Tyrolean. Entitled "This is a Man," the latest collection expresses a man's attention to detail, and these double-named hats feature as key items in every look. Both hats are made from rabbit fur and come in three colors. Perhaps their greatest feature is the original camouflage pattern on the lining. The thorough attention to detail in hidden parts is truly unique to the theme.

"My parents wouldn't allow me to wear such a thing. That outfit is hella hideous."

"It's just so grody." one of Angela's minions mutters almost in an instant.

"I'm glad I'm nothing like her." a loud slam echoes in the room.

"Angela...lay off of it" A girl who looks as if she missed the all-bright memo snarls.

"Nicole, Honey. I'm allowed to criticise such an outrageous outfit. Never knew they allowed the low life to enter such a prestigious school" Angela whispers, circling her finger around her big golden hoop earrings.

"It's not that hard to get in-" Courtney felt a finger on her lips as the bell interrupted her.

Angela swiftly turns around to face her group, smiling as if she won an award for being the richest in school.

"Min, let's go to-" she dramatically pauses and looks to the ceiling in disgust at her statement. "biology. ta-ta everyone else!" Angela takes Min's arm and walks away.

"Guess it's just us two." Courtney faces Nicole, who drops a cigarette and mutters a swear word.

They go up the flight of stairs to arrive at their next class.

A ringing sound loudly blares.

"Hello? Angela Martinez here." she twirls the cord that connects the telephone.

Her room is filled with posters. Madonna, Tina Turner, Tom Cruise.. you name it. Her notebooks were all piled up on her desk, where her mirror and an overload of makeup and accessories sat. Her floral white bed covers matched her lacy window curtains, making it obvious how she perfectly planned her room to bed tailored just how she wanted it. Her gadgets made up of her memories sat on her shelves, her many books and CDs mixed up, her jumping rope that she won't use until later in the summer collecting dust.

"Rad. rollerskating inc at 6 you say? I'll be there."

Sprinting from her bed she pulls out her desired outfit. Thigh socks with black stripes, black converse, denim shorts and a bright red top with yellow stripes to match her gold earrings that matches her tan skin and brown hair.

Her big frizzy hair jumps up and down as she goes down the stairs, hearing a loud blare from outside her house.

"Mami, Papi, I'm going roller skating!" She picks up her white bag that has her roller skates inside and bolts outside, jumping in her friend's car.

"Heyyy biatch. What took you so long?" Nicole's eyes speak in the car mirror.

"A girl's gotta look good, who do you think I am." Angela plays with her hair.

They arrive at the roller skating place, entering the room as if they owned the place.

The scene is filled with neon lights, making everyone seem like glow sticks in the dark, with an overly sparkly disco ball in the middle of the roller skating rink, making the rink seem as if the floor was made out of stardust. Its black floor with neon twirls and shapes dominated the place where people in the booths were sipping fizzy drinks, with loud 80's music blasting all around. There are about more than a hundred people, all roller skating and dancing, groups of friends struggling not to fall and loud chatter making the music seem like a faint noise.

The girls giggle and run towards the outside of the roller rink, where they exchange their shoes for bold rollerskates except for Courtney's black and red rollerskates which matched her perfectly.

Angela grabs Min's hand, skating in unison around the half-full roller rink, speeding through the strangers, looking like specks of radioactive neon sparks running in circles.

During the interval, they all share fries and have their drinks.

"So I told her- You can't be here. I don't want to fight. You stole my boyfriend" Angela loudly slurps her drink.

Her eyes were fixated on a guy walking into the place, with a chillness as if he was best friends with the owner.

"Who's that hottie?" She stares at the guy with the blue jacket, lifting her obnoxiously heart-shaped glasses up onto the top of her hair.

All eyes are on him when Nicole blurts out "That's Zion. He's in the year above us, he's new."

"Hm...interesting." Angela sighs and continues her story, her eyes still fixed on this Zion guy.

The group collectively goes back to skate, singing along to all the songs they know by heart.

Time passes when Angela notices her friend's disappearance.

"Where is Nicole?" Angela asks her two friends, slowly skating backwards.

"At the back." Min mumbles.

"Again? Might as well check on her." She skates to the railing, taking off her roller skates and heading to the door located at the back of the place.

"Oh- shit. Angie." Nicole exclaims, smoke coming out of her mouth.

"Why'd you always suddenly vanish? Do you even-" She looks at the cigarette Nicole's holding and looks away.

"Sorry, never offered." She offers it to Angela.

Angela's eyes don't leave the cigarette when her gaze is distracted by a familiar face.

It was Zion.

"Nicole!" Zion shouts, walking up to them. "Yo. Sorry if I'm interrupting."

The guy with dark skin and a blue jacket from earlier looks at them both, analysing the situation.

"Nah, all good. Was offering my friend here a hit. Zion, this is Angela."

"Ah, Angela. Pleasure meeting you." he winks and puts his hands inside his pockets.

"Same here." Angela takes the cigarette from Nicole's hand, taking the smoke in and coughing.

"First time, huh?"

She smiles straight at Zion and then looks at Nicole, who has a slightly annoyed expression on her face.

"Anywho, Nicky, me and the girls are inside waiting for you if you're up for more skating." She hands it back to Nicole whose face seems as if she was about to throw a punch, smiling at her as she heads back inside.

"Nicky...nicky... Nicky" Zion mocks, laughing.

"Nicole. It's Nicole, Zion." She shoots him a dirty look.

"Okay, okay. I was just kidding. Jeez." He throws his hands up in the air.

"Why'd you never introduce me to Angela? She's hella fine."

"Angie? Oh, dude. Just letting you know, she's a real piece of work. A pure bitch if you want to put it straight. Don't even bother." Nicole puffs.

"Wow, you hate her that much?"

"Hate her? I loathe her. She complains as if she isn't a huge hypocrite herself. She's a bitch from Brooklyn and that's her whole personality. Shitting on others to make herself seem better."

"Alright. If you say so. I'll keep that in mind."

Nicole and Zion both look at each other for what felt like an eternity, then giggle as the moment becomes uncomfortable to endure.

"Heyyyy Nickkaaayyyyyy..." Angela shouts across the room.

"Who in the right world let her drink," Nicole says, looking at her friends.

"Me? ME! This is the right world. Thank you Mr presid-" She stutters.

"She flirted with the guy at the bar. You know how she acts.." Min sighs.

"Ugly. uuggglyyyy I just needed one...five...drinks? I want drinks!" Angela exclaims, throwing her hands up in the air and nearly losing her balance.

"Well, I can't take her home. Her parents hate me enough as it is." Nicole looks directly at Courtney.

"No. No I will not." Courtney shakes her head, her black shaggy bangs moving side to side.

"My parents would kill me. I'm nearly past curfew.. guys. Guys, I can't.. What if-" Min panics.

A loud cough interrupts the conversation.

"You ladies alright?" Zion looks at all of them.

"Wooowzaaa.... it's the hot guy...err...Zeon...Zione?" She tries to reach him.

"I can take her home if that's fine with you ladies." He looks at Nicole with a shrug.

"Sure. Whatever." Nicole bluntly said, walking away to take her roller skates away as Angela squealed.

Courtney and Min help carry Angela out of the place in embarrassment, as she blurts out gibberish phrases.

"Go on." Zion opens the door for Angela, allowing her friends to help her sit in the car seat.

"Are you sure you'll get her home safe? Please tell me you will get her home safe. My parents would kill me if they knew if I knew I left her like this" Min looks at Zion with pleading eyes.

"I promise. I know Nicole, remember?"

"Okay. Thank you. Just don't call me, please. Call Courtney instead." She gives him Courtney's number on a piece of crumpled paper and then runs away to her car, Courtney sighing and following her.

He opens the car door and sits down, turning on the car he suddenly pauses.

"Nice to see you again, Angie, Where shall I take you today?"

She huffs and faces him. "Hi....Zeon. Take me to the magical land...with the ponies. And the hot guys like you."

"That's sadly not possible. I need your address so I can take you home, okay?" He laughs and places his hand on the steering wheel.

"I don't want to go home." She quietly says, still looking at him.

They both stare at each other, Zion breaking the silence by smiling. "Where to then? Have a favourite place?"

"Hmm....I'm thirsty. The beach. Beach time!" She squeals, chanting.

He nods and starts driving to the beach. The closest and most popular beach, Abysmal Coast, where he and his friends used to gather and spend the whole night. He knew that place like the back of his hand.

"We are finally here" He gets out of the car and opens the door for her.

"Hah. sooo kind." She wobbles out of the car, holding onto Zion for support.

They start walking, arms interlocked. Abysmal Coast. Brooklyn's most well-known beach. Not only for its sparkling water but for its constant overcrowding. Yet there was nobody there. The sky was inky with many stars trying to outshine each other, the water communicating with the sand with its calm, small never-ending pirouettes. The wind was making the air feel warmer, making it smell refreshing. They walked for a while, what felt like an eternity.

"Want to sit down?" He points to the sand. Angela looks at him with confusion.

"Um... there..?" Her expression clearly showed her disgust.

"Trust me, you'll manage."

"It's dirty! I'll get sand all ove-" she gets nudged to the ground. "Ow! What is wrong with you!" She looks up to Zion and sees him laughing at her distress.

"I'm sorry, you can't be mad, a little sand won't hurt such a high-class girl like you" He sits next to her.

"Well, I need to maintain how I look, of course. Looking like as if I was poor isn't my style at all. Imagine that. Would be dreadful."

"Sand doesn't make you look poor, idiot"

"Stop insulting me by calling me poor. I'm not a low life." She shoots him a dirty look.

"Wow. You are really a bitch." Zion mumbles loudly enough for her to hear.

"Excuse me?" Angela faces Zion, not believing the words coming out of his mouth.

"Yeah. You are just always thinking about yourself, aren't you? You haven't even thanked me."

"Thank you? For what? Being a normal person and taking me...huh. You didn't even take me home." She says in an exasperated tone, standing up and walking towards the water, hugging herself.

"Angela... Where are you going?" He stands up and starts following her.

"I don't know. I need time to think. GO AWAY."

"Angela, I can't let you out of my sight, remember?"

"Well, that's a you problem. You offered and now you are paying the price of being a two-faced assho-" She trips over something, making Zion run towards her.

"ANGELA! ARE YOU OKAY?"

"Oww...what even was that.." She faces Zion and then looks behind her when she sees it.

She shrieks in terror, her body crawling away as she sees a rotten body next to her. The body looked as if it was sacrificed to a swarm of piranhas.

"WHAT.

GNARLY.

CREATURE.

IS THAT." She yells.

It was a face she clearly recognised.

Beige Lederjacke kombinieren für den Frühling

Wenn wir mal die verrückten Schnee-,Eis- und Hageleskapaden des Aprils ignorieren, hatten wir auch richtig schönes Frühlingswetter diesen Monat. Zeit also endlich wieder die Lederjacken raus zu holen und deshalb gibt es heute ein weiteres Outfit, wie man eine Lederjacke kombinieren kann im Frühling.

Lederjacke & Sneaker / Turnschuh Kombination

Mittlerweile besitze ich einige Lederjacken.. schwarze, braune und beige Varianten wohnen in meinem Schrank. Durch den Schnitt und das Material sind sie aber alle sehr verschieden. Manche sind richtig warm und dick, andere ganz dünne Jäckchen eher. Die Lederjacke (+) die ich euch heute zeige,ist von Cartoon (W), eine Marke der Betty Barclay Group. Die Jacke habe ich mir ausgesucht, da mir der Mix aus Lederärmeln und "jeansigem" Mittelteil gut gefallen hat. Aber trotzdem eben alles in diesem schlamm-braun Ton ("Brownie").

Die Jacke ist dadurch angenehm leicht und man kann da auch mal gut einen Pullover drunter ziehen. Es gab auch noch einige längere Damenjacken die mir gut gefallen haben, aber ich wollte schon länger so eine leichtere Lederjacke für den Frühling. Ein weiterer Punkt für die Jacke war, dass sie super zu meinen geliebten Paul Green Sneakern eben auch in diesem Schlamm-Braun-Bronze passen. Matchy, Matchy. Die Kombination aus Lederjacke und Sneakern gefällt mir nämlich nach wie vor sehr sehr gut. Dazu gab es eine schlichte graue Jeans von Tom Tailor und ein weiteres Teil von Cartoon. Ein Shirt (+) aus leicht fliessendem Stoff in weiß mit hellbraunen "Flecken". Da das Shirt unten einen Gummibund hat, fällt es sehr schön unter der Jeansjacke ohne das man es reinstecken muss. Ich mag solche Basicshirts mit einem Hauch von "Muster" oder "Farbe" immer wieder gern. Wenn ihr euch die Damenmode bei der Betty Barclay Group (W) mal näher anschauen wollt, empfehle ich euch vor allem die Marke Cartoon. War mein klarer Favorit :-)

It’s profound stuff. But, for all of Britain’s green and pleasant virtues, Hiddleston’s home nation remains terrifically tricky to dress for. Whether it’s damp springs or tepid winters, Britain’s weather is more unpredictable than even man’s most comprehensive wardrobe can contend with. And the most fickle month? September — as the heat of summer heat struggles and scuffles with autumn’s chill. 

Thankfully, our pub-bound shoot with the British actor sets the pace for September style, with Hiddleston slipping on suede shoes, mid-layer knits and the perfect pair of jeans. So follow in his well-dressed footsteps and learn these six style lessons… 

Wear a knitted polo shirt with your suit

It’s September; and that mean’s it’s back to work time. But, while we’ll always hold a torch for ties, the best style bet for your suiting this year is the cosy knitted polo. Soft of handle, and here to bridge the gap between your work-from-home wardrobe and old officewear, it’s a new late summer staple — and can be worn everywhere from the boardroom to your local bar (as Tom Hiddleston will attest).

Our choices run the gamut; and include a silk-woven, short-sleeved option from New & Lingwood, an Italian-made cotton offering from Sunspel in anthe evocatively-named ‘Pepper Melange’ colourway and perhaps our most office-appropriate choice — a long-sleeved ‘Cashwool’ polo shirt from Aurélien with mother-of-pearl buttons and a slim fit.

It was a bold move; putting Tom Hiddleston in a chunky, pastel-coloured pullover for our summer issue. But it’s a gamble that paid off handsomely (as most things do when the actor and his movie star curls are involved). Late summer, then, is the perfect time to dig out the knits you usually reserve for the dark days of winter; jumpers with bold patterns or touches of playfulness.

Like Hiddleston’s sweater, we’d go for stripes. From Aspesi, this 100% wool option has autumnal colours woven through every thread. From Toast, we’ve opted for a sleeveless Fair Isle style — ideal for any slightly balmier September days. And, perhaps closest to the actor’s knit is this gently-striped sweater from NN07, which swaps Hiddleston’s bold blue bars for softer, more neutral tones. 

Classic denim jeans are a seasonal staple

September means it’s time to stash your shorts away for another year — and pull out your most trimly-tailored trousers. But forget the natty checked suit Hiddleston buttoned up for our latest cover shoot, and instead follow his lead by investing in a timeless, dependable pair of denim jeans.

And one brand that knows the value of tradition is Benedict Raven. Crafted from a cotton-stretch blend, the British brand’s ‘Clifton’ jeans are ideal September staples. Aubin, too, has the perfect pair for the late summer season; woven with hemp fibres to add some green credentials to your blues. Or, for a wider leg option, try A.P.C’s ‘Leo’ design.

Add some warmth and texture with suede

With the weather cooling down slightly, September offers you the chance to dig out slightly heavier fabrics and materials. Hiddleston here wears a sophisticated overshirt in that softest, most supple of leathers; suede. It’s rugged-yet-refined, and the perfect weighty way to bulk up your shirts before jacket season hits.
