so if Fern is a “stereotypical” prefix for thunderclan used in jokes, what would the other clans prefix be? I feel like Windclans would be gorse/furze/whin
Wind's is totally Gorse/Furze/Whin, even in-canon that's the case LMAO. There's sooooo many cats with Gorse that it was easier to just add Whin to prevent the prefix conflicts.
For RiverClan it's definitely just like, water names broadly. Fish names specifically. I feel like there'd be a phrase that's like "You can ask any Tom, Dick, or Stanley" for RiverClan that goes, "You can ask any Pike, Perch, or Minnow." Reed is probably also a big one.
Shoutout to Mistystar for having three kids with the most RiverClan possible names, John, Jake, Dave type grindset, followed up by Chrysanthemum.
SkyClan's too new to have name stereotypes yet but it's definitely going to be something related to those kittypet prefixes. Shnookyclaw the Venerable.
If it were up to me, ShadowClan's would be all mushrooms, but as is, it's probably darkness prefixes. Darkheart, excellent at all things kitchen, construction, and leisure related. a camp champ, if you will

Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Elmo. Looking so down in the dumps. Every muppet wants to be you, Elmo Even when taking your lumps.
There's no muppet here as admired as you You're everyone's favourite guy. Everyone's awed, and inspired by you, and it's not every hard to see why.
No… one… beefs with elmo Peeps at leafs like elmo, No-one teaches to brush all their teeth like Elmo,
For there's no muppet here half as furry, perfect, a pink paragon. You can ask any Tom, Dick or Stanley, and they'll tell you whose team they'd prefer to be on.
No-one talks like Elmo, Matches socks like Elmo, Can identify when things are rocks like Elmo. [Yes I know and Rocko is just irritating] There for his friends is Elmo!

Whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I.
Born to a turbulent family on a Mississippi farm, James Earl Jones passed away today. He was ninety-three years old. Abandoned by his parents as a child and raised by a racist grandmother (although he later reconciled with his actor father and performed alongside him as an adult), the trauma of his childhood developed into a stutter that followed him through his primary school years – sometimes, his stutter was so debilitating, he could not speak at all. In high school, Jones found in an English teacher someone who found in him a talent for written expression, and encouraged him to write and recite poetry in class. He overcame his stutter by graduation, although the effects of it carried over for the remainder of his life.
Jones' most accomplished roles may have been on the Broadway stage, where he won three Tonys (twice winning Best Actor in a Play for originating the lead roles in 1969's The Great White Hope by Howard Sackler and 1987's Fences by August Wilson) and was considered one of the best Shakespearean actors of his time.
But his contributions to cinema left an impact on audiences, too. Jones received an Honorary Academy Award alongside makeup artist Dick Smith (1972's The Godfather, 1984's Amadeus) in 2011. From the end of Hollywood's Golden Age to the dawn of the summer Hollywood blockbuster in the 1970s to the present, Jones' presence – and his basso profundo voice – could scarcely be ignored. Though he could not sing like Paul Robeson nor had the looks of Sidney Poitier, his presence and command put him in league of both of his acting predecessors.
Ten of the films James Earl Jones appeared in, whether in-person or voice acting, follow (left-right, descending):
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) – directed by Stanley Kubrick; also starring Peter Sellers, George C. Scott, Sterling Hayden, Keenan Wynn, and Slim Pickens
The Great White Hope (1970) – directed by Martin Ritt; also starring Jane Alexander, Chester Morris, Hal Holbrook Beah Richards, and Moses Gunn
Star Wars saga (1977-2019; A New Hope pictured) – multiple directors, as the voice of Darth Vader, also starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Cushing, Alec Guinness, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, and Frank Oz
Claudine (1974) – directed by John Berry; also starring Diahann Carroll, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, and Tamu Blackwell
Conan the Barbarian (1982) – directed by John Milius; also starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sandahl Bergman, Ben Davidson, Cassandra Gaviola, Gerry Lopez, Mako, Valerie Quennessen, William Smith, and Max von Sydow
Coming to America series (1988 and 2021; original pictured) – multiple directors; also starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, John Amos, Madge Sinclair, Shari Headley, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, and KiKi Layne
The Hunt for Red October (1990) – directed by John McTiernan; also starring Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn, and Sam Neill
The Sandlot (1993) – directed by David Mickey Evans; also staring Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar, Patrick Renna, Chauncey Leopardi, Marty York, Brandon Adams, Grant Gelt, Shane Obedzinski, Victor DiMattia, Denis Leary, and Karen Allen
The Lion King (1994) – directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, as the voice of Mufasa; also starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, Moira Kelly, Niketa Calame, Ernie Sabella, Nathan Lane, and Robert Guillaume, Rowan Atkinson, Whoopi Goldberg, Cheech Marin, Jim Cummings, and Madge Sinclair
Field of Dreams (1989) – directed by Phil Alden Robinson; also starring Kevin Costner, Amy Madigan, Ray Liotta, and Burt Lancaster

John Allan Jones (January 14, 1938 – October 23, 2024) Popular singer and actor. He was primarily a straight-pop singer (even when he recorded contemporary material) whose forays into jazz were mostly of the big-band/swing music variety. He won two Grammy Awards and received five nominations for Grammys. He notably sang the opening theme song for the television series The Love Boat.
Jones was born in Hollywood, California, on the night his father Allan Jones recorded his signature song "The Donkey Serenade", resulting in the younger Jones' assertion that he was "practically born in a trunk." Jack attended University High School in West Los Angeles and studied drama and singing. His mother was actress Irene Hervey.
Jones made his film debut in Juke Box Rhythm (1959) playing Riff Manton, a young singer who is involved romantically with a princess (Jo Morrow). He sings three songs in the film. He acted in minor films such as The Comeback (1978), Condominium (1980), and Cruise of the Gods (2002). He had a humorous cameo in the film parody Airplane II: The Sequel (1982); as Robert Hays' character avoids searchlights while escaping captivity, the beams become a spotlight on Jones, performing a verse from his Love Boat TV theme song.
He became a staple on 1960s and 1970s variety shows performing on The Dinah Shore Chevy Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Andy Williams Show, The Dick Cavett Show, The Hollywood Palace, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The Carol Burnett Show, The Jerry Lewis Show, American Bandstand, This is Tom Jones, The Dean Martin Show, The Judy Garland Show, Playboy After Dark, The Jack Benny Program, The Steve Allen Show, and The Morecambe and Wise Show in the United Kingdom.
Jones twice hosted the National Broadcasting Company (NBC-TV)'s top-rated rock and roll music series Hullabaloo (1965-1966), and was featured in two prime-time specials, Jack Jones on the Move (1966) and The Jack Jones Special (1974). He appeared on the Password TV game show with Carol Lynley in 1964 and multiple times with Joan Fontaine in 1967. He provided the vocals to the theme song of Funny Face, "The Kind of Girl She Is". When the show returned renamed as The Sandy Duncan Show, he was replaced by an anonymous chorus. He also guest-starred in a cavalcade of television series of the era, such as The Rat Patrol, Police Woman, McMillan & Wife, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries; two game shows $weepstake$, Match Game, and the sitcom Night Court.
Jones played himself in the episode "The Vegas Show" of It's a Living. He sang the opening theme for the television series The Love Boat (1977–1985), and appeared in a 1980 episode with his father Allan.
Between 1973 and 1978, Jones hosted The Jack Jones Show, directed by Stanley Dorfman, produced and broadcast by the British Broadcasting Corporation's BBC-2 network. In 1990 he appeared in the Chris Elliott television show Get a Life on the Fox television network. (Wikipedia)

Bambi and the Devil
Chap 8
-------------------------------------
Inside a bar in the Vees tower Vox was sobbing. " Why won't Alastor love me. I mean I gave him everything and he just practically rips my heart in two". Velvette rolls her eyes. " Probably cause your a whiny bitch". She said staring at him. Vox gives her a look. " Wow fuck you Velvette". He said crossing his arms. Velvette took the drink away from him. " Whatever idiot. Stop drinking your wasted". Vox whined and made gimme hands to the drink but Velvette tossed the drink out. " NOOOO MY STRAWBERRY DAQUIRI WHY ". Vox continues to sob on Velvette who was blushing. " Ok you big baby ".
Meanwhile Valentino was smoking near a couch despite a worker 'servicing' him. Val felt angry. He watches as Vox got Sob drunk again and poor Velvette was blushing furiously at his antics. Eventually he tossed the worker off and walked up. Slamming the table. " LOOK AT YOU VOX SO PATHETIC, YOUR SOBBING AND DRINKING WHEN YOU COULD BE FUCKING THESE PEOPLE"! Vox flinched a bit and sighs. " There's no point Valentino, there's only one person I love and want to screw and that's Alastor. You can have them though". Vox gestures to the drugged up clients. Velvette scoffed. " Can't believe you waste your time on Alastor. I mean there are other sinner you know". She said. Vox groans. " Oh yeah can you name one". They watch as Velvette turns red. " Umm well err". She tucks a stray hair. " Just s sinners no one in particular". She grabs a drink and leaves the area. Vox looks at her a bit concerned. " Huh I never seen her act that way. It's kinda cute". He blushes before shaking his head wildly. " WHAT AM I SAYING I LOVE ALASTOR ONLY ALASTOR NO ONE ELSE IS GOOD FOR ME"! He shouts out. Valentino comes behind and runs Vox shoulders. " Oh really no one". He gives a knowing smirk.
" Well your more or less a business partner Valentino, besides you are pining for Alastor too". He says moving away from the moth. Valentino took a drag of his cigarette and blew it on Vox's face. " I'm not pining because I love him. I want to make him my fucktoy and nothing else, When I'm bored of him , I'll get rid of him". Valentino shows an angelic gun hidden in his coat.
Vox blinks back. " Umm couldn't you just give him to me. I don't want him dead". He eyes the gun nervous. " Voxxy pull yourself together amoricito". Valentino purrs coming close. " I am together I just want Alastor to love me, is that so hard to ask. TO BE LOVED".
In the background Velvette hears him. " If you only knew you dumb cute idiot". She walks out the bar.
Valentino cackles. " This is hell Vox besides look at the thousands of followers that scream your name". He gestures to everyone who starts chanting
" VOX VOX VOX VOX"!
" See Amoricito they love you". Valentino says. Vox looks at him. " There not Alastor".
Valentino starts to sing.
Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Voxxy
Looking so down in the dumps
Every guy here'd love to be you, Voxxy
Even when drinking your cum ( Vox gives a look to valentino at that)
There's no sinner in town as admired as you
You're ev'ryone's favorite guy
Ev'ryone's awed and inspired by you
And it's not very hard to see why
No one's slick as Voxxy
No one's quick as Voxxy
No one's Cock's as incredibly thick as Voxxy, except mine of course ( he waggles his eyebrows)
For there's no man in town half as manly
Perfect, a pure paragon
You can ask any Tom, Dick or Stanley
And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on
[Chorus:] No one's been like Vox
A king pin like Vox
[Valentino:] No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Vox
[Vox:] ( full of confidence now) As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating
[Chorus:] My what a guy, that Vox
Give five "hurrahs!"
Give twelve "hip-hips!"
[Valentino:] Voxxy is the best
And the rest is all drips. Again except for me cause I'm better than the lot of you chums
[Chorus:] No one fights like Vox
Douses lights like Vox
[Valentino:] In a wrestling match nobody bites like Voxxy ( Shows way too many bit marks and moans)
[Bimbettes:] For there's no one as burly and brawny
[Vox:] As you see I've got biceps to spare
[Valentino:] Not a bit of him's scraggly or scrawny
[Vox] (That's right!)
And ev'ry last inch of me's covered with hair ( Opens chest but sees no hair) " ok it used to be".
[Cronies:] No one hits like Vox
[Townsman:] Matches wits like Vox
[Valentino:] In a spitting match nobody spits like Vox
[Vox:] I'm espcially good at expectorating
(Ptooey!)
[Chorus:] Ten points for Gaston!
[Vox:] When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs
Ev'ry morning to help me get large
And now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs
So I'm roughly the size of a barge
[Chorus:] No one shoots like Vox
Makes those beauts like Vox
[Valentino:] Then goes tromping around wearing boots like Gaston
[Vox:] I use antlers in all of my decorating
[Chorus:] Say it again
Who's a man among men?
And then say it once more
Who's the hero next door?
Who's a super success?
Don't you know? Can't you guess?
Ask his fans and his five hangers-on
There's just one guy in town who's got all of it down
[Valentino:] And his name's V- A- L
Vox) " Wait a minute your spelling your name this is about me narcissist
( Valentino) " hmmph whatever his name is
( everyone) " VOX!
they all sit down. Vox smiles. " Thank you Valentino for that I needed it".
" of course amoricito anything for you".
Suddenly the door burst open. Rosie and Charlie came inside looking frantic. " Please help me he's got him locked up in a castle". Rosie says panicked.
( bystander) " whose got who locked up".
Rosie: A beast the king of hell himself got Alastor locked up.
Everyone laughs at this. " Stop laughing at Rosie this instant". Charlie demands.
Vox" Charlie sweetie the king of hell is nothing but a legend made by parents so that there kids don't do bad stuff".
Charlie shook her head. " He's not a legend the king of hell is real. Rosie and I saw him and Alastor has been taken by him".
Then Vox gets an Idea. " REALLY THATS GREAT". Rosie crossed her arms. " Wow your real choked up about this aren't you". She said deadpanned. " Hold on guys. I'll help you. You just leave and I'll catch up got to get something".
" Wait you'll help us really". Charlie eyes sparkle. Vox pats her head. " Of course Charlie. Alastor was my deeriest friend. And the thought of him with that horrid beast just makes me sad". He starts crying. Charlie hugs him. " Aww it's ok Vox. You pack what you need and meet us outside ok". Vox wipes his tears. " Oh thank you Charlie thank you".
As Rosie and Charlie leave Valentino goes up to Vox. " Ummm what are you doing". Vox smirks. " Relax I got a plan. I save Alastor from this ' king of hell' ( does air quotes) and he sees how much I love him and he will marry me". Vox gushes. Valentino rolls his eyes. " And what makes you think this is going to work". Vox smiles. " Cause I'm the best that is how". He leaves the pub and Valentino chuckles to himself. " Oh Voxxy you lovesick fool. When will you learn it's a waste of time".
He leaves the pub to accompany his friend. " And perhaps if I save Alastor he will give me his soul". He cackles evilly.

Class of Villainy - Cheer Up!
As Ondine ate her lunch in the cafeteria, she sat beside her crush, Kim, attempting to cheer the boy up. He had asked Lila out as a prank, planning on embarassing her if she had said yes. Unfortunately, things hadn’t turned out as he had hoped.
“No one says no to Le Chien Kim!” He sputtered, his fists clenching as he replayed the event in his mind.
“Damn right!” Ondine said, infuriated at the girl who rejected her dream guy. “Who cares if it was for a prank? She should be grateful you even gave her the time of day!”
“It’s all because of her “truth” disease. Apparently she can’t tell a lie.” Kim growled.
“Well then she’s obviously faking it. You? ‘Disgusting’? That’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.” Ondine replied.
“One thing’s for sure, Lila Porter has tangled with the wrong man!” Kim slams the table with his fists. “Dismissed, rejected, pubicly humilated! All because of a ridiculous excuse!” Ondine grabbed a energy drink and offered it to Kim.
“More juice?” she asked. He waved her off. “What for? It won’t change the fact I’ve been disgraced.” Ondine gave Kim a warm smile. “Who, you? Never! Kim, just forget about that girl, and pull yourself together!”
At that point, Ondine got out of her seat, and began to sing.
Ondine:
Gosh it disturbs me to see you like this
Looking so down in the dumps
Kim just turned away from her, going back to staring at his food.
Ondine:
Every guy here wants to be like you, Kim!
Even when taking your lumps.
A bunch of boys who were near him nodded and gave Kim a thumbs up.
Ondine:
There’s no kid in school that’s admired as you
You’re everyone’s favorite guy!
People are awed and inspired by you
And it’s not... very hard to see why...
Ondine turns him back around, and begins dancing around the room.
Ondine:
There’s nobody like Kim
Simply no one like Kim
No one sexy, or buff, or amazing as Kim!
He’s as agile and fast as a monkey
No one’s as awesome as him!
You can ask any Tom, Dick, or Stanley
And they’ll say their just insects compared to our Kim!
She goes over to some jocks and gets them to sing along.
Ondine:
Who plays...
Jocks:
Football!
Ondine:
Like Kim
Who does
Jocks:
Backflips!
Ondine:
Like Kim.
Who has charm, or charisma, or passion like Kim?
At this point, Kim is beaming and puffs out his chest.
Kim:
As a specimen, yes, I’m intimidating
Everyone:
My, what a guy, is our Kim!
Kim smiles and puts an arm around Ondine, causing the swimmer to blush.
Kim:
I needed encouragement, thank you, Ondine.
Ondine:
Well your presence in school puts us all on Cloud Nine!
The music stops, with Ondine sheepishly looking at the ground.
Ondine: Too much?
Kim: Yep
Everyone:
No one fights like our Kim
Douses lights like our Kim
Ondine:
In a wrestling match, nobody bites like our Kim!
Kim:
When I hunt, I sneak up with my quiver
And beasts of the field say a prayer
First I carefully aim for the liver
Then I shoot from behind
Ondine smirks at him
Ondine: Is that fair?
Kim: I don’t care
Everyone:
No one lifts weights like Kim
Carries huge crates like Kim
Ondine:
All the girls here would kill for just one date with Kim!
Kim:
Just a wink from my eye is exhilarating
Everyone:
A god among men, is our Kim!
Kim:
When I was a kid, I ate four dozen eggs
Every morning to help me get large
He grabs a fangirl and spins her around, much to the jealousy of Ondine. He then pushes her back into the crowd.
Kim:
In High School, I’ve gone up to five dozen eggs.
So I’m roughly the size of a barge!
He flexes his muscles, causing the girls to scream and Ondine to get weak in the knees.
Ondine:
No one shoots like our Kim
Makes those beauts like our Kim
Then goes tromping around wearing loud boots like Kim
Kim:
I use antlers in all of my decorating
This line causes a deer-human hybrid to frown at him, giving Kim the middle finger. Ondine points at a group of students to take the hybrid away, ignoring his complaints.
Ondine:
Boy what a guy... is Kim!
The crowd all cheers and begins shouting Kim’s name. The boy just smiles and laughs as he soaks in the attention.
And that’s my second retooled scene! It’s the first time I’ve done a whole song, and it took a little time to change the lyrics, but I’m proud with what I altered. I decided to merge the 1991 version with the 2017 one. Lemme know what you think in the replies, reblogs, messages, and asks. @artzychic27 and @msweebyness

Happy 82nd Birthday Scottish actress Brigit Forsyth born on July 28th 1940 in Edinburgh.
Brigit was a theatre fan from the age of eight when she saw her first pantomimes at the King’s Theatre in the city where she remembers Stanley Baxter as"The best panto dame ever" and Russell hunter during his Callan days.
She attended all girls schools Cranley and St George’s in Edinburgh then trained as a secretary before enrolling at RADA where she studied for three years. She then joined various repertory companies including Lincoln, Edinburgh, Salisbury, Cheltenham, Hornchurch and Watford.
She toured in My Fat Friend and performed in the West End productions of The Norman Conquests, Dusa, Fish and Stas and Vi. Her film work includes The Wrong Side of The Blankets, The Road Builder and The Crystal Stone.
Brigit has worked extensively on television for many years in shows including Playing The Field, The Practice and Tom, Dick and Harriet. She has also appeared in countless long-running hits such as Doctors, The Bill, Casualty, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. She is best known for her long running role as Thelma Ferris in the BBC comedy The Likely Lads and Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads, she has been in the reboot of Open all Hours, Still Open All Hours, but said a number of years ago that The Likely Lads should never return.
Brigit’s heart has always remained in theatre and she has appeared in classics such as Hamlet, The Comedy of Errors, The Glass Menagerie and The Importance of Being Earnest as well as the recent West End hit Calendar Girls
In March 1998 she made a one episode guest appearance in Coronation Street as Ken Barlow’s dating agency client Babs Fanshawe. Brigit is married to Coronation Street director Brian Mills and they have two children Zoe and Ben. Brigit has also appeared in Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Holby City and Doctors, to name but a few of her many extensive YV roles.
Brigit still visits Edinburgh and says of the city “Prepare to walk for miles, you’ll have an amazing time!” I’ll second that!
