Mira Aoyama is a completely ordinary 15 year old girl- and she hates it. Her mother was the incredible Mew Ichigo, and she's yearning to live up to her legacy and become a magical girl too. When an alien named Persimmon crash lands at Cafe Mew Mew and tells of a coming invasion, she might just get her wish: at a price, of course.

Just one year until the end of the world. And it's up to a magical girl otaku with a limited amount of transformations, an alien who's terrible at using her powers, and an untested, possibly buggy first-edition robotic mew mew to save it. Can this dysfunctional trio save the world?

A Tokyo Mew Mew next-gen fancomic story! Based on Tokyo Mew Mew, taking bits from the original anime, manga, a la mode manga, video game and new anime, with themes of family, friendship, environmentalism, and girls kissing. Rated T for mild violence and mature themes.

Making some of my ocs into magical girls! Well, I wanted to record the process, but the recording I had... well it was lost. Anyways, here's the final product. Yes, it's based on Tokyo Mew Mew and I had fun brainstorming their magical girl form. Mew Suika is based off of a tiger/watermelon, Mew Honey is based off of Crotch's Bumblebee/honey, and Mew Doragon is based off of a Komodo Dragon/dragonfruit.

the most IMPORTANT tmmn alien lore from the new ep was the earrings. no not the story behind them or the power. the SHAPE. look at the shape of the clasp. look at the placement on the ears.

the aliens don't have earlobes. or at least not ones that are pronounced enough to notice or commonly pierce? (I mean, cartilage CAN be pierced obviously, but it's a bit more painful than lobe piercings, and considering these were at the lil vendor booth, I assume they're the popular style?)

...they use clip ons. the aliens use clip ons!!! that are clipped around the lower/middle part of the ear!! not the bottom! so these earrings are actualllllly: ear CUFFS!!! which are an actual thing that exist you can get. it makes perfect sense for the aliens to use these, because they're meant to wrap around the cartilage of your ear without needing an actual piercing, and their ear faces down, rather than sideways like our Human Ears do! so! they'll stay on easier with just a cuff!!

see, same ball clasps to hold them in place as above!

so. hear me out...I bet if they like earrings but piercing isn't common, and cuffs are the Style, that they'd LOVE wrap around cuff earrings like these!!!

Also...all of Madeline's dolls/plushies/figures had ears. ears are clearly like, a Defining thing for the aliens within their own culture. So for fanfic concepts...earrings!!! as courting items!!! or in the place of wedding rings!!! Would love to see these concepts 👀

I posted these guys like. A year ago. But that was a whole year ago and it was a flop post, so...

This is Mythical Mew Mew!

In the year of 2002, five super-heroines made their debut, all immediately recognizable with their colorful outfits and animalistic features; a pink cat, a blue bird, a green porpoise, a yellow monkey, and a purple wolf. These five girls dutifully defended earth from threats, first from an alien invasion, then from a group of supernatural terrorists, even gaining a new member in the process, a white rabbit. It is now the year 2022. Tokyo Mew Mew have been dormant for at least a decade, their true identities never revealed and theories of their origins still unanswered. Unbeknown to the public, the world is once again at risk, and with Tokyo Mew Mew unable to answer the call, a new generation of Mews must be created.

I've been working on these girliepops since 2017. So uh... close to a decade....... They're definitely the OCs I've put the most time into. I was around 15 when I made them, so they've basically grown up alongside me.

I plan on uploading individual posts for all of them but I am also very lazy and easily distracted, so bare with me lmao.
