description: yushi x reader (kisses with yushi, fluff, a little steamy at the end)

with yushi, you could break down his kisses into two categories. one would be all the kisses that you can expect. the predictable ones, the ones that feel almost like they're built into your every day routine.

for example, if you guys were able to spend the night together, he always made sure the last thing he did before falling into sleep was to give you a goodnight kiss. some days, the kiss comes after he puts his phone away for the night. maybe you guys were silently scrolling on your phones, you on tiktok or twitter, and him catching up with comments from fans on weverse. yushi would turn to his side to face you and gently cup your face with his left hand.

even if your eyes were still glued to your screen, not wanting to miss a second of the show you were watching, yushi would wordlessly wait for you to pause and face him, offering your puckered lips for a soft kiss. without saying much else, he would lean back to his side of the bed to turn his bedside lamp off before laying flat on his pillow and falling asleep.

on other nights, he would come home well into the early hours of the morning. the birds aren't quite chirping yet, but the streets are empty and the air has the distinctive crispness of dawn. you're already asleep in bed, hair spread out on your pillow and the book you usually read in bed fallen onto the ground.

slipping quietly into the room, yushi would wash up as quickly as he could, at least as quickly as his tired, lethargic limbs would allow. slipping his sleep shirt over his head, tossing his worn clothes onto a surface somewhere, mentally making a reminder to clean up in the morning, yushi pads softly over to the bed and climbs into the covers, trying not to jostle you around with his weight.

deep in your sleep, you're momentarily pulled back into consciousness when you feel yushi brush away the strands of hair that had fallen into your eyes. before you can even think of reaching out to him, he leans over and kisses you on the lips, the touch light as a feather. you feel him hover over you and feel his gaze glide softly across your face, taking in the image of you with pillow creases on your cheek, the slight twitch of your eyebrows, and your steady breaths giving him the comfort he needed at the end of his tiring day.

you'd already fallen back into dreamland at this point when yushi adjusts the covers around you, tucking the material back over your shoulders before he lets himself succumb to his own sleep.

there are other times that you can count on a kiss from yushi. more than one would expect from him, yushi likes to express his unspoken endearment for you through a kiss. when he thinks you're being especially cute that day, or when you have a larger appetite than usual, yushi would watch you eat with a look of satisfaction on his face and give you a kiss in between bites as his way of letting you know he's proud of you.

when you're rambling to him about a random internet rabbit hole you went down or catching him up on the drama in your friend group, yushi would be the utmost patient listener, if not for his habit of leaning in to steal a smooch in the middle of your sentences.

"sorry, keep going," he would say after cutting you off.

"you're not really sorry," you would accuse him teasingly, a smile threatening to break through your pretend tough facade.

you could be in the car with him, sitting in the passenger seat as he drives you guys to your dinner reservation. the car pulls to a stop at a red light as skate by the wishies comes on shuffle through your phone connected to the music system. without missing a beat, you're singing along, including all the adlibs and nodding your head to the percussion, oblivious to the way yushi's looking at you with practically hearts for eyes.

"y/n.. come here," you hear, pulling yourself away from the passenger side window you were drawing smiley faces on through the fog of condensation.

when you turn to face the owner of the voice, he's resting his hand on the console between the seats, palm open and facing up. yushi uses the hand you slip into his hold to pull you close to him, stealing your breath away with a resounding kiss before you can even steady yourself.

"and what was that for?" you ask bashfully, feeling warm in your seat despite the vents blowing cool air.

"just... 'cause you're cute," he answers without taking his eyes off the road, "i like when you sing my songs."

he's not a guy that's big on excessive pda or bold declarations of love, but he's consistent and reliable. he doesn't go overboard, but he never lets you forget or wonder about his care for you. you can confidently say his love language is spending quality time and doing acts of service, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

however, dating yushi is not without any surprises. he likes to keep you on your toes, whether or not he actually realizes that's what he's doing.

if you visit him at his company building, he always walks you out to the elevator. even though he would much prefer being able to walk you all the way out to your car, the possibility of being seen by those not meant to see you two together prevents that from being an option. though today, he doesn't let those constraints keep him from getting the affection he wants from you.

stepping into the elevator with you, he stops you from pressing the button for the garage level and instead, presses the door close button. before you can even question him, he's backing you up into the corner, the cool surface of the wall reminding you where you two were. you press a palm on his chest with the intent of dissuading him, even if just for a moment, but the message is lost as yushi rests his forearm on the wall behind your head and swoops down to find your lips with his.

most of time, the kisses shared between you and him are short, sweet, with careful patience, and often with a smile pressed into each other's lips.

today, he kisses you with a fervor, as if he had been parched all day and the taste of your lips was the only thing that could satisfy his thirst. he's greedy, wasting no time in swiping his tongue across the seam of your closed lips to ask for entrance, though you doubt he would've taken no for an answer. you can barely focus on reciprocating with his right arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you close enough for your chests to touch, and his left hand gripping and squeezing your hip.

the worried voice in the back of your head afraid of someone walking in on you two is now long forgotten, the only thing on your mind is the pleasure his touch is giving you. the kiss is sloppy at this point, the sounds of lips smacking and your soft sighs fill the elevator, something you would be deeply embarrassed by if you had any sense left. yushi's left hand has abandoned your waist to firmly hold your jaw, tilting your head this way and that to get the access that he wants.

when you let out a soft whimper, he suddenly lets you go and pulls away. flustered, you open your eyes to see him smiling down at you as if he hadn't just kissed you within an inch of your life. he looks barely affected, only his hair slightly out of place while you're sure you look a disheveled mess.

"uh... wha-," yushi interrupts your fumble for words, using his thumb to wipe the corner of your puffy and shiny lips, collecting the residue saliva from your previous activity. you continue to gape at him, rendered even more speechless by this action.

"have a good day, y/n. text me when you get home," he says casually, before fixing his fair in the reflective surface of the elevator wall. he presses the door open button and steps out, smiling sweetly as they start to close again, as you're rooted in place, the feeling of his lips leaving a lingering tingle on yours.

A ﾐ AFFECTION

yushi is fairly affectionate with you. he chose you and he always wants to remind you of that. you can see his fondness for you in his eyes or the gentle way he holds you. he doesn’t need to say much for you to feel his affection, but he will tell you on occasion as well.

B ﾐ BEFORE DATING

yushi most likely started out as your friend before dating. he doesn’t like to rush into things, and he would want to feel sure about who he chooses to date before he does it. knowing that he works well with you and loves spending time with you would quickly grow into romantic feelings. 

C ﾐ CONFESSION

he would tell you how he feels simply and straight forward, and then let you decide what to do with the information. he’s ready to face rejection but he’s also hopeful. but the last thing he wants to do is put any kind of pressure on you, so he’s a bit cautious and careful with his confession. his heart would of course be racing like crazy anticipating what you’ll say in response, but he doesn’t let it show on his face how nervous he is. 

D ﾐ DATES

he’s a really good planner and would make sure to plan time for dates just as often as you do. he saves the fancier dates for more special occasions, like your birthday or anniversary, though. weekly dates would be more casual, like dinner and a movie, or just a game night. but he always makes sure that there’s some activity to enjoy together, because he really values quality time with you. 

E ﾐ EYE CONTACT

eye contact is important to yushi. not to say he stares at you often, but he’ll always find your eyes in a crowded room or subconsciously look for that subtle contact. your eyes relax him. he can never survive staring contests, though. he’ll crack up immediately. but natural eye contact could last for longer, and he may even zone out while staring at you on occasion </3

F ﾐ FIGHTS

fights with yushi are rare because he’s very grounded and level-headed. he’d much rather talk through any problems than let it lead to an argument. he tries to take into account your emotions and feelings without compromising his own, but sometimes it can be difficult. you both know what is most important for your relationship, and ultimately don’t let petty arguments come between you both. fights could be a bit more common in the evening when you’re both tired, but yushi will never let it go unresolved for the morning. he hates sleeping mad at you. 

G ﾐ GIGGLES

you are always making yushi laugh, more than anyone else. mostly because your humours match up perfectly. he’ll laugh when you’re intentionally trying to make him laugh, but he’ll also giggle at random things you do that he finds cute. his laughter always comes from a place of affection.

H ﾐ HUGS

he’s a casual hugger. if you’re cuddling on the couch, it would most likely just be holding hands or resting your head on his shoulder rather than his arms wrapped around your body. just a little bit of physical touch is enough to satisfy him. he’ll hold you tightly if that’s what you want/need though.

I ﾐ I LOVE YOU

i love you’s are saved for sentimental or romantic moments. he may slip them into a conversation at times, but they aren’t a set of words he uses lightly. to him, they hold a lot of weight and meaning, and he really wants you to know that when he says it, he really means it.

J ﾐ JEALOUSY
