Akira Kawashima & Kazunari Ninomiya's tag team program is in its first GP time slot, the two are subjected to a series of cruel Tamigoe attacks "Their eyes aren't smiling" "They let their guard down too much during the wipe"
Kawashima Akira of the comedy duo Kirin and Ninomiya Kazunari of Arashi will appear on "Fuji TV"'s Saturday Premium "Kawashima Ninomiya no Tamigoe" (21:00 p.m. on japanese time and on 13.00 p.m. on european time on the 9th of November.
This program is a variety show that teaches society through street interviews, or "Tamigoe," where you can hear the real voices of the world. When it was broadcast locally in the Kanto region in May this year, Tami made some harsh comments from the beginning of the program, such as "Kawashima should do comedy properly," and "Ninomiya lacks spirit and sparkle." Kawashima and Ninomiya were embarrassed by the unexpected criticism, saying, "I can't say a word," but this time it has been decided that the program will be broadcast for the first time in prime time and as a special program on national broadcast.
This time, Kawashima and Ninomiya, who are teaming up as MCs for the first time, will once again work in perfect harmony to host the show, asking "We asked the Tamigoe guys! What do Kawashima and Ninomiya lack?" and "If you do this, you're considered a bad man," as they survey the street. Will they resort to cruel Tamigoe to Kawashima and Ninomiya as they did last time? Attention will be focused on the two MCs acting like punching bags, being told whatever they want, something that can only be seen on "Tamigoe."
The show will be conducting street interviews, collecting the public's opinions, or "Tamigoe," while investigating various aspects of the world. In "We Asked Tami! What is Missing in Kawashima & Ninomiya?", when asked about their impressions of Kawashima and Ninomiya, Tamigoe once again got a beating right from the start, with comments such as "Kawashima's eyes don't smile" and "Ninomiya lets his guard down too much during the wipes." "Not again..." says Kawashima and Ninomiya, dejected, but Tami continues to talk about her impressions of the two. Also, in investigating the theme of this episode, "If you do this, you're considered a bad man," certain things that men tend to do are ranked in. What are some surprising bad man moves?
In the second half of the show, Yanagisawa Shingo continues from the previous episode with a location shoot. With the theme, "Is there anything delicious in Gunma other than konnyaku?", he embarks on a high-energy location shoot involving people he meets in Gunma. After recording the show, Kawashima commented, "The content of the show changed completely between the first and second halves," and Ninomiya commented, "i laughed so hard my stomach hurt." What was the content that made him laugh so much...? Keep an eye out for Yanagisawa's dynamic performance in the second half of the show.
Cast comments
- Please tell us your impressions of the recording.
Kawashima: I'm really happy that this is our second special and it will be broadcast in prime time! This time too, there were a lot of harsh comments, but I don't want to give in to them. I'll do my best not to get discouraged (laughs). I'm sure that by the second half of the show, you'll be thinking, "Oh, did i change the channel?" The content and the worth of the first and second halves are completely different. It was Yanagisawa Shingo's one-man show, after all. But if we hugged the local people who cooperated with the location like Shingo did, it would cause a backlash... Anyway, all of us cast members have to go and apologize to Tokunaga (Yuuki) (who had less screen time due to Yanagisawa Shingo's dynamism).
Ninomiya: I'm really happy that we can broadcast it again. But the contents of this episode might be hard to hear for men... There were a lot of "bad guy behaviors," but we have to be careful because we might be doing them without knowing. Also, i don't really want to say this, but... the show's structure is bad (laughs). The second half is really tiring, so I hope everyone will watch the whole show and feel the fatigue. But Shingo was great again this time (laughs). It's great to be so tired from watching a variety show. It reminded me of when i was a child, laughing so hard my stomach hurt.
― Have you ever thought of yourself or the people around you as a "useless guy"?
Kawashima: I went to an address sent by Nobu from Chidori saying "Brother, are you free? Please come over for a bit" and it turned out to be a high-end tempura restaurant. "I was planning to go with Koyabu (Chitoyo) but he couldn't make it at the last minute... but it's a popular restaurant so i thought I'd come anyway". Ah, so that's when you call a senior (laughs). It was a high-end restaurant that only had the Shochikubai course menu, which even the cheapest cost several tens of thousands of yen. Then Nobu said "i'm sorry to have you come so suddenly, i'll have the second-lowest course". But that also means "it's the second-highest course". As a result, i was treated to an extremely expensive course menu, and after eating, Nobu went straight to a second restaurant with someone else... i really think he's a useless guy, i'll never forget it (laughs).
Ninomiya: This might be a thing for older guys, but when i get drunk i tend to keep telling the same story over and over. I really hated it when i was the one listening. I knew the punch line and the flow, but with a senior i couldn't be rude. I had to react as if it was the first time i'd heard it... but after it happened dozens of times, it started to seem cute to me. However, just as i was starting to think that, a junior told me, "I've heard that story so many times." Maybe the moment i thought it was cute i let my guard down. I was sad that I had to be the one to do that, and I thought i was a no-good guy (lol)
-- If there is another special program next time, what "Tamigoe" would you like to hear about?
Kawashima: Today's "Tamigoe" was pretty extreme, so i'd like to see a segment where they praise the older guys, saying "You're cute if you do this." If they watch this episode, the older guys won't be able to sing anything at karaoke (laughs). This time, they were constantly criticized, so I'd like to see a segment where they can lick their wounds (laughs).
Ninomiya: This time, i was on the receiving end of being told "if you do this, you're a bad man," so i'd like to hear what men think about "women who do this." I also definitely want some good points! It's sad to be constantly criticized, so i'd like to hear some good points that I can use in the future.

STORY DESCRIPTION
The story of "Galaxy Express 999" is set in a universe where humans have learnt to transfer their minds, but not their emotions, into mechanical bodies and achieve immortality. This has created a divide between those who are mechanised, elites with machine bodies, and those who aren’t.
Hoshino Tetsuro (Nakagawa Akinori) is a poor unmechanised human who desperately wants a machine body that would allow him to achieve immortality and the freedom offered only to the mechanised.
COUNT MECHA'S STORY
In the original story, we only know Count Mecha as the antagonist that Tetsuro seeks revenge against for murdering his mother. In the musical, "Galaxy Express 999" creator Matsumoto Reiji expands on his story.
A turn of events lands Tetsuro in the past where he meets Prider, a normal human living on a planet that is under the control of mechanised humans.
Prider was part of the group of normal humans who had taken up arms against mechanised humans until he met Ryuzu. Through her, he learns that, like normal humans, there are good mechanised humans, and has since laid down his weapon with the hope that he can stop the fighting and bring a future of peace without using force.
Unfortunately, his childhood friend doesn't agree with his perspective, and has been trying to get him to rejoin them because she believes that the only way to achieve peace is to fight. It also doesn't sit right with her that he is now friends with Ryuzu, who she thinks he’s in love with. To prove him wrong, she attacks Ryuzu.
But, things don’t go as planned. In protecting Ryuzu, Prider ends up being fatally wounded.
His friends learn of a way to save his life: by finding someone who can give him a mechanical body.
Fast-forward to the future, Tetsuro learns that the mechanical body given to Prider to save his life came at a cost: it had completely taken over his personality and he was consumed with drive to kill.
The gentle man who Tetsuro had befriended had become Count Mecha, the cruel mechanical monster he was seeking revenge against for the death of his mother.
This leads to the tragic confrontation between Tetsuro and Count Mecha where Tetsuro tries desperately to save Prider. In those final moments, Tetsuro and Prider are finally reunited.
But, it is too late.

BLCD Review: Nyushitsu Kock wa Wasurezuni
Title: Nyushitsu Knock wa Wasurezuni (入室ノックは忘れずに)
Release Date: 2018/08/24
Author/Artist: Kuroki Enuko
Cast: Nakajima Yoshiki x Yamaya Yoshitaka
Synopsis: Niki Yuichi, has a secret that he must guard with his life now that he’s living in the school’s male dorms, a secret so scandalous that it could destroy his relationship with his roommate Yazawa Souta in a snap—he’s a full blooded fudanshi! Even with all the precautions he’s undertaken, the secret is blown out of the water! As the panicked Yuichi braced himself for the criticism, Souta didn’t even care for it - rather, he began to take an interest in it too?! Yuichi’s relief didn’t last long though as Souta goes in for a kiss—ISN’T THIS A BL-ESQUE SITUATION???
Review Proper
I honestly don’t remember making that synopsis. I mean, how could I have been that accurate to the name back in 2018? That synopsis shouldn’t be mine, but I can’t find a single English synopsis of Knock in the net because it hasn’t even been scanlated! 😂
Anyway, I have read the raws of this before, and I can say that it stood pretty faithful to the original (sans Tokunaga and Takigawa). It was paced pretty decently too, so I really don’t have any issues except for this one thing: the casting. Yamaya Yoshitaka is not a good fit for Niki. 😔
I don’t mean that his performance was awful, it’s just that his voice is too high for Niki. I mean, just look at him. He sounds like how Hanae Natsuki did in Akihabara ni Fall in Love—scratch that, I’ll even go as far as to say that Nakajima Yoshiki and Yamaya Yoshitaka’s whole dynamic here reminds me of Ono Yuuki and Hanae Natsuki’s in Akihabara ni Fall in Love. Also, Knock as a series definitely reminds me of that and Customer Masquerade!. In my opinion, Niki should’ve been voiced by someone around Yamanaka Masahiro or Masuda Toshiki’s range—Nakajima Yoshiki himself would’ve been a good fit for him. Y’all, we finally have a fudanshi who doesn’t look like a twink, so why make him sound like one? 😂
But in general, Yamaya Yoshitaka did a great job as Niki. It really is such a shame that he isn’t that active in the BL industry because his pitch is very much needed in the industry. Only the BL gods know how long the squeakers, Shimono Hiro, Murase Ayumu, Suzuki Yuuto, Enoki Junya, Hanae Natsuki, Uchida Yuuma, Amasaki Kouhei, and Horie Shun will be staying in the industry (and they’re all inactive now, shit!).
As for Nakajima Yoshiki, despite how I think that he should’ve been casted for Niki instead of Yamaya instead because Akira-san and Niki look alike, I have to say that he really suits his role in the BLCD well. This would have been better as a stand alone instead of an adaptation. Honestly, Yazawa looks like he should be voiced by Ono Yuuki, Kumagai Kentarou, or even Maeno Tomoaki. Anyway, I’m glad that Nakajima Yoshiki is using his natural voice here which is deeper, nasally, and smooth like Ono Yuuki’s, so he sounds more comfortable in Knock than say, XL Saizu where he’s more throaty and airy. For all my insistence in grouping him as an uke, he’s done better as a seme so far, especially in DoS Obake. He did great as Akira-san precisely because he had a deeper pitch, but in 101 you can really hear him strain it. I think that his ceiling is and should be his Akira-san pitch. I hope gets to land more roles like this in the future because it’s such a waste to hear him be a hit or miss in BLCDs most of the time. 😔 Here’s to hoping that his performances in the BLCDs he leads in that are part of the 2019 and 2020 logs are just as great as this one. 🙏
Can I also just say that they had a very wide cast, and I really like how Aimi Tanaka did Sasaki-san. They were all committed to their roles!
As for chemistry, I’m really glad that no one was eating out anyone. It was very balanced, and even though there wasn’t much mambo on their mattresses, I still felt that tension that they had. Speaking of, the plot itself wasn’t really that new, and it did have it’s cliche moments, but I was still able to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend listening to this if you’re in for the good ‘ol light-hearted romcom. This is the shit, and not Dekoboko Sugar Days. However, I still stand by not listening to this while reading the manga. I also think that Chiharu Sawashiro has too high of a voice for Tokunaga, so if they bring him back for the adaptation of the second volume (this is already five volumes long and still ongoing!) , I probably would have the same feeling I had with Nakajima Yoshiki and Yamaya Yoshitaka’s pairing with his and his prospective Takigawa. But I mean, if you’re not picky, and are a fan of the series, then you do you. 👍

Tokunaga Hideaki Lyrics: Kowarekake no Radio (壊れかけのRadio; Broken ~)
English translation and romanization below the cut.
ENGLISH
I don’t hear a thing. You won’t let me Is that because my body’s more grown up now than it was way back then? A black radioーthe first one I ever boughtーsat on my bed All the melodies from it created so many eras In adolescence you change from being a boy to a man I searched for roads to take, still yet to be sullied No embellished destination in mind, I push through the crowd Tell me what it’s like to truly be happy, broken Radio
I used to listen to you all the time. You always let me A faint bit of courage was born when I looked up at the sky on the other side of my window Radio, you knew. You knocked on my heart My heart, worn down by love. A gentle breeze waved to me The city settling down after a brilliant festival at my back I gazed at the stars, still yet to be corrupted The sky in my hometown grows farther away, a crowd I can’t go back home to Tell me what it’s like to truly be happy, broken Radio
I used to play the guitar without even knowing what the next chord would be A dream about being lost. An incredible song showed me the way In adolescence you change from being a boy to a man I searched for roads to take, still yet to be sullied No embellished destination in mind, I push through the crowd Tell me what it’s like to truly be happy, broken Radio The city settling down after a brilliant festival at my back I gazed at the stars, still yet to be corrupted The sky in my hometown grows farther away, a crowd I can’t go back home to Tell me what it’s like to truly be happy, broken Radio
The sky in my hometown grows farther away, in a crowd I can’t go back home to Tell me what it’s like to truly be happy, broken Radio

[NEWS UPDATE] 999: Online Live and Archive Streams have been Announced for the Grand Finale Performance of "'Galaxy Express 999' THE MUSICAL"
Other Genepro Videos Featuring Sato Ryuji
As Prider: HERE
As Count Mecha: HERE
STORY DESCRIPTION
"Galaxy Express 999", known in Japanese as "Ginga Tetsudou 999", is an award-winning classic series created by Matsumoto Reiji, who is also famous for space opera classics like "Space Pirate Captain Harlock" (which is set in the same universe as "Galaxy Express 999") and "Space Battleship Yamato".
Machine bodies are incredibly expensive, but they are supposedly given away for free in the Andromeda Galaxy, which is located at the end of the line for the Galaxy Express 999, a space train that only comes to Earth once a year.
CAST
Nakagawa Akinori as Hoshino Tetsuro

DESCRIPTION OF COUNT MECHA / PRIDER (SATO RYUJI’S CHARACTER)
Count Mecha, also known in Japanese as "Kikai-hakushaku", is a mechanised wealthy nobleman who hunts unmechanised humans for sport. He murders Tetsuro's mother in one such hunt at the start of Tetsuro's journey, and is one of the antagonists in the series.
The musical also expands on Count Mecha's story, telling of his time as a normal human before he gained his mechanised body: when he was Prider, someone who was beloved by the people around him.
