boboiboy canonically having no friends before moving to pulau rintis is very important to me because girl same and gives me so much room to make headcanons about what he was like Before TM

In my mind's eye, he was probably one of those kids who just hung out with his parents and/or their friends instead of playing with his peers, especially since they had Mechabot. Why would he need to make friends when he has the coolest friend right here?

And his parents saw this and started talking to Tok Aba like "hey we're really worried about boboiboy, he's not very social and only wants to play with Mechabot and i don't think that's good for him"

Meanwhile Tok Aba has this group of kiddos that just. screw around him while he's trying to work. So he's like "Hey there's some kids here his age that are all very friendly, I can make him socialize with them"

and he proceeds to tell all of said kids about Boboiboy and forces him to Socialize TM and he makes Friends

but not before befriending another robot

LDF AU headcanons

Amato and Ghazali once lost Bbb and Ali in an IKEA, for at least 7 hours. They went to IKEA like to buy furniture for Tok aba new house in Pulau Rintia after he moved there after Umis death, and they have to bring the boys cause their wife's are working, and like imagine these two stupid men arguing about whether they should get the plates that are boring and a bit plain, or the ones that look like a drunk person with zero coordination skills made them, guess who wanted to buy which plates, and in the middle of the argument Mechabot blurts out "Where are the kids?!"

They both stop point blank and spend the next hour running around the ridiculously big IKEA warehouse, why did they have to go to the biggest one in Malaysia looking for their sons. It never occurred to them to try and go to the front desk and ask the worker for help.

The boys just got bored of hearing their daddies argue and sneaked off to the kids area. Tok aba and their wives kill them after they find out.

Tok aba tells the story to their friends once and since Ali and Bbb were too young to remember their a bit shocked it happened.

Boboiboy & Ali: Wait, that happened????

Do you guys ever think about how tok aba felt when taking care of amato and then bbb because when watching mechamato you can tell amato is pretty chaotic, bbb is too im a way, but honestly he's just kind of chilling in comparison he's at least not, unintentionally, causing chaos and destruction, I wonder if tok aba was kind of relieved when seeing bbb be somewhat responsible for his age after getting super powers lol

Nah I'd give a solid 9/10 for Gentar Arc.

It does brings back the more humbling roots of the OG series. Gotta appreciate the extra work done for such a filler arc and for the least likeable fusion to be...more likeable and in depth. Some jokes are lame as usual but I guess that's ok for this arc. The visuals are nice and an attempt on merging 2D comic style into 3D. The humor. The reference. It's sentimental, nostalgic. Bbb's bond between Ochobot and Adudu. They'd go lengths to help each other, at least in this arc. Hints at Tok Aba being ok.

There are minor changes made from the comic in this arc overall, but quite a huge change(or more like addition) towards the end of the arc. But this change is forgiveable unlike the Windara one.

Also also they do not include the "backstory" codebot and trashbot which is kinda miss cause those two are cute but they made them turned monsters completely in the animation :(
