I was rewatching TOH, as one does to cope with that finale and Eda tells Luz, after she gets tricked by the wizard in 'Witches before Wizards' (S01E02) that everyone wants to believe that they're a chosen one, but if you wait around for that to happen then you'll be waiting forever. You have to choose yourself.

Man, Luz is so relatable. I too would be freaking out if i got to wear authentic witch clothes.

I love the little pieces of cloth on the brooms! Haven't seen that a lot in traditional witch attire.

Idk how the hats are stacked on the broom without at least the bottom 2 ending up with a hole at the tip, but I'm not a witch so what do i know. Maybe they're just really long hats? ajslkdjsdflk

We’re Family Now for the fic bingo? (If it became my favourite toh fic after learning you wrote it no it didn’t lol)

My memory of We're Family Now's writing process is a little fuzzy now, since it was written a long time ago, but the fundamental thing was that I really wanted explicitly mother-daughter comfort with Eda and Luz, and at the time there was really only one fic on AO3 with that premise (this was literally written as s01e02 was coming out). The other thing was that I really didn't like Camila (and still don't), so I deliberately dropped the hammer on her.
