I know the majority of you are too young to know this but the music AND Puff and Pass are giving VERY strong Toe Jam and Earl vibes.
#Toe Jam and Earl#The song is so close I wonder if it's he's not just playing the theme song of the game 🤔

Hi OP I hope you’re doing well! ❤️ Can I request some hcs of one piece characters favorite video games?
Man this might seem so biased because I like/hyper fixate on only a handfull of games but lets see... [Yes, most of these are games I am into WOOPS]
Ace - Loves FPS - He plays games like Overwatch, TF2, L4D and Dead by Daylight. - He enjoys shoot first ask questions later type games. - DPS for life. - Borderlands is also a game he likes. - Saints Row, GTA, Duke Nukem. DOOM. Anything along these lines. - Action with a dose of horror element. - Explosions and fire are a huge bonus. Sabo - Sims - but on chaos mode. He loves to play God, and he’s the type of person who would build a pool without a ladder. - He might be against capitalism, but that doesn’t mean he won’t use a few cheat codes and pirate versions so his sims can live out their best lives.
Luffy - Pokemon games. He mostly plays Pokemon GO so he can go out and be social with his brothers and friends. He and Usopp do all the raids together. - Anything easy and brightly colored has his attention.
Nami - Mobile phone game queen. - Literally anything tycoon. - Where you can buy and sell and build. - Is like level 90000000 on every ‘swap something’ or ‘merge’ game. - Plays while making money at her job. Sanji - Dating sims, obviously. - Also, hentai games. - And Animal Crossing. Usopp - Minecraft, Strawdew Valley. Anything that's open and fun. - Also big into Pokemon and plays with Luffy, - He also loves point-and-click adventures like Monkey Island. Zoro - Pokemon sleep. - Streetfighter, TEKKEN, Mortal Kombat. All those sorts of games. - Shinobi games also.
Chopper - Cute, easy games or hardcore doctor simulators. - Animal Crossing. - Nintendogs, cats, anything silly and cute with animals.
Brook - Dating games - Hentai games - Among Us - Really dumb meme-bait games like I Am Toast and Goat Simulator
Franky - Minecraft, Roblox, anything that’s building and making. - Retro games, like Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Toe Jam, and Earl. - Older platform and side-scrolling games.
Jinbei - Games you can farm and fish on. - Also racing/driving games. - Is a beast on Mario Cart Robin - Fantasy games like Skyrim. - Indie horror like FNAF, SCP, Zoochosis, I have no mouth, and yet I must scream. - All the really intense horrors like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Condemned. - Just anything with awful, horrible monsters and lore, and she is all over it and thinks the monsters are cute.
Corazon - Candycrush mom. Kid - GTA, Bulletstorm, the most bloody and violent games you can get your hands on. - Ones that are banned in countries. - Wolfenstein. - Also partial to the Guitar Hero/Rockstar type games. Killer - Cooking Mama - Guitar Hero/Rockband Marco - He doesn’t game alot, but if he sees an old-school arcade, he’ll go and play things. - House Of The Dead, Packman, Space Invaders, Time Crisis. He often gets dragged to the arcade by Ace.

Sega Mega Drive - Toe Jam & Earl
Title: Toe Jam & Earl / トージャム&アール
Developer: Johnson Voorsanger Productions
Publisher: Sega of America
Release date: 13 March 1992
Catalogue No.: G-4066
Genre: Action
As far as Western-developed Mega Drive games go, Toe Jam & Earl is the cream of the crop. The premise is simple. Toe Jam & Earl have crash-landed on a forbidden planet that goes by the name of Earth You must control TJ & E in either one or two-player mode & find the broken bits of TJ & E's rocket ship and get back home. This is done by looking across a couple of dozen levels of Earth, just avoid those pesky humans if you can.
In TJ & E the world is like a wedding cake, it's stacked vertically. To progress from level (literally) to the next you use an elevator. This is ingenious as if you miss something vital you just drop off the current level to fall back to the previous one.
This is one of the most creative & playable games made in the last 20 years. It works best in two player mode but can be fun played solo. The whole idea is made for the two-player mode though and the most benefits come from using this mode. You must work together to succeed, an idea that is rarely used in games nowadays.
You have to play the game to fully understand how good this game is as it is more of an experience than a game.
The sounds, graphics & smooth play of the game make it fantastic from start to finish and that coupled with the chance to rob Santa make this a must play title.

I saw the Sonic movie and it was fun. I saw the Pikachu movie and it was fun. I saw the Mario movie and it was fun. THEN out of nowhere there was an announcement that flippin TOE JAM AND EARL of all titles was getting a movie and I'm like, am I being directly marketed to again? https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/toejam-and-earl-movie-in-the-works-stephen-curry-exclusive-1235275179/
Buuuut there hasn't been much of an update since, so it may end up in development forever. But I so so so hope it gets made. I didn't exactly grow up with it, but it might as well be the embodiment of my whole aesthetic.

But they made a new g4 with a good name like sonic tv and like baseball 2k25 had online chat so eventually we could rod racer up
And like that's why they call them episodes
So they sonic didn't need to be on an episode
But it was all Sega it was all about toe jam and earl and pushing the next game

Video Games - Soul Forge Podcast 288
New Post has been published on https://esonetwork.com/video-games-can-be-great-fun/
Video Games - Soul Forge Podcast 288
Video games are typically categorized according to their hardware platform. This traditionally includes arcarde video games, console games, and computer (PC) games. A video game is an electroic game that involves interaction with a user interface or input device. These devices include such things as a joystick, controller, keyboard, or motion sensing device.
The first video game prototypes in the 1950s and 1960s were simple extensions of electronic games using video-like output from large, room-sized mainframe computers. The first consumer video game was the arcade video game Computer Space in 1971.
On this episode of the Soul Forge, Shawn and Leah share some of their memories of video games. Leah’s first system was the Commodore 64. Her first game was The Sky is Falling, in which you had to catch fruit. Shawn remembers playing a lot of Missile Command on the Atari 2600. In addition to these systems, they also had the Sega Genesis, the original Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super NES. Naturally, over time, many other systems emerged. These include the various XBOX and Play Station consoles. Nintendo has also released a huge number of video game systems.
Shawn and Leah mention a wide variety of video games. Some of these are (in addition to The Sky is Falling and Missile Command) Earthworm Jim, Toe Jam & Earl, Duck Hunt and Rock n’ Roll Racing. There is also discussion around the various Super Mario titles, including Mario Kart. We also hear about Apex, Minecraft, Hollow Knight, and quite a bit about Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Video games can be great fun. They can bring the whole family together. We used to spend our weekends renting games. Now we all have access to emulators, walk-throughs and guides. When we were kids, we were lucky to have a game genie!

Can you believe I played something that wasn't a rhythm game or Katamari related holy shit
I'm pretty sure a lot of people like the first ToeJam and Earl game over the sequel and that's perfectly fine since it's epic and all
I actually like the sequel more tho, we get that nice Funkatron lore y'know
The first game isn't really my thing, it would take patience I don't have and I'd be too dumb to figure out what to do.
Also Earl is best bro sorry TJ stans :(
#toe jam and earl 2#sega genesis#I've been playing cultured games fr#wtf are the hyperfunk zone thingies
