Do you ever have the feeling you're self shipping with a character wrong? Like, the way you interpret your relationship is Vastly Different from how others interpret theirs with the character, so it feels wrong when your self ship isn't the same.
Like, others have a soft and sweet relationship with said character, showing him how to love.
But my relationship with said character is cruel and dark, with my character not being enough to show him how to love, but still having a tight bond with it that he permanently alters it and strips everything that made my character human and keep it like a pet.
I have nothing against others who self ship with him in a fluffier light.
I just can't do that. It doesn't feel right for my relationship with said character.

My motivation for Selfshiptober is very quickly draining. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to try and force myself to write to get out of my funk. I can't keep up with the prompts anymore, and I'm eleven (11) days behind, so what's the point in trying to finish it?
It's not just Selfshiptober, but self shipping in general. My motivation for it is dwindling, and I'm struggling to connect with the community recently.
It doesn't help that I'm pretty sure Tumblr has been eating the asks I've been sending others to try and engage with them...

Sometimes, I wish I was more confident in posting WIPs to get some sort of advice or just a reaction to them...
But the majority of the time, I just don't feel like my WIPs are interesting enough. Hell, I genuinely feel like a lot of my fics aren't that good either, but I can't get any amount of advice or comments or anything because people don't know the Characters that well, or because its selfship...
Maybe I should do a massive reblog of my favs of my fics.
Or maybe I won't, as to not disappoint myself when no one is interested in them.
