Hii love, may i ask for more of the Proposal Au, maybe Thena telling Gil about her family when they are in bed cuddling and having a soft moment.
Gil inhaled as he woke, dragging the morning air into his lungs. Sometimes he cursed his early rising nature, wondering if it really could be handed down through genetics like his mother liked to joke that it was. He got a whiff of Thena's shampoo.
She was cuddled right up with him, which was nothing new by now. He nuzzled the top of her head. If he couldn't sleep in on his vacation then he could at least be comfortable.
If anything, maybe they were a little too comfortable this way. But he didn't think that was a bad thing. They were getting married...kind of. It was a good thing to comfortable enough with each other to cuddle, be close, maybe share a kiss or two.
Thena pushed her head further into his chest, which meant she was also waking up.
Gil chuckled; how did he never know before how cute she was? He tapped her bare shoulder, fixing the strap of her night dress, "hey."
She made a sound of protest, especially as he rolled onto his side with his arms still around her, shifting her position of practically lying right on top of him.
Gil settled on his side, gazing at the beautiful woman next to him. He was reminded of a time when he had first met her, and it had seemed impossible to fathom how a woman as beautiful as she was had as normal a job like he did.
Thena blinked her bleary eyes open, glaring at him as soon as she could focus, "this better be good."
"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you," he more or less whispered. It was just them and the rising sun and the breeze in his mother's perfectly landscaped yard.
"Liar," she grumbled, but still clung to the warmth he offered. "Will your mother come barging in here looking for help with another wedding activity?"
"Not today," he promised, although it wasn't really up to him if that happened. But he rubbed her back through the light material. "Even she sleeps in a little bit on sundays."
"Sunday already," Thena mused, yawning as she did.
"Yeah," Gil agreed, although the closer they got to concluding their trip here, he had to admit it made him a little sad. He would miss not seeing his close-knit family again. His sisters--even Kingo!
Thena began lazily running her fingers over his back in the t-shirt he was wearing. It felt nice to get his back scratched a little, and her hands were so small and light. Maybe he would miss things like this too.
"What?"
"Hm?" he blinked, having been happy to lose himself in her touch. But he opened his eyes again and found her staring at him, even in their close proximity.
"There's something on your mind," she clarified, moving one of her hands from his back, trailing it around his shoulder and arm to his chest. "Just ask."
He chuckled; she was quite good at reading him. Not that he professed to be a closed book in any way. "Well, I was thinking about Kari and Sersi and Mom, how I'll miss them--and I guess Kingo too."
Thena laughed quietly (cutely). She continued her little morning massage, getting all the right spots and relieving even imaginary soreness. "He would be so offended if he heard that."
"Well, I'll put it in one of my speeches, so he will," Gil resolved, and Thena laughed even more, although she tried to hide it. Kingo was still like his brother, and thus, not his favourite sibling with whom he had grown up.
And he was still a little too friendly with his fiance, but whatever.
"But," he hesitated, and that was all Thena needed to see to encourage him. "I was wondering...about your family, I guess."
"What would you like to know?"
His eyebrows shot up. He hadn't expected her to be so...willing. He adjusted himself in the bed so he could tilt his head differently. "Uh, you sure?"
He had definitely heard her tell someone at work asking about her family to go to hell (in corporate speak, which entailed asking them to keep their correspondence with her professional).
Thena settled her face in the bend of his shoulder again, letting him play with the ends of her hair. "I wouldn't say we were particularly close, even when they were alive."
"Uh-" he opened his mouth immediately, to either offer his apologies or tell her she didn't have to tell him this, or both. But she reached up just to tap his lips and keep him from interrupting further.
"I was brought up in quite a strict household," she sighed, although it didn't seem like that sad a story to her. Or maybe it sounded like she was detached from it, telling it about someone else. "My mother was a retired ballerina, very beautiful. She tried to teach me to dance but I had no natural talent--which she told me at every opportunity."
This story was getting worse and worse.
"My father was a businessman of some sort. It was never my place to ask, even as I got older. All I knew was that he supported our lifestyle. The expectations for me were high, they needed me to be a good representation of their own rigid upbringing."
"I was still quite young when they died," she continued, starting to sound more connected to the words she was saying. "They went on a trip together and simply never returned. All I was told that the ship they were taking back to mainland had experienced a problem and supposedly no one made it back."
Gil stayed silent, as she wished, but he held her tighter.
"All I had known was boarding school and tepid approval from them. If anything, I wasn't sad enough when they died--my distant relatives told me to be ashamed when I was at the funeral," she laughed again, although he could hear the dry, sardonic edge in it. "I even went to the bathroom to try and wet my eyes and appear more tearful."
He kissed her forehead, at a loss for what else to do.
"My elderly caretaker at the time was the only one really with me," she did smile again, at least. "She sat with me through it all, helped me talk to all the lawyers."
So, that was why she knew so much about contracts and settlements, even when they were both just starting in the office.
"She used to let me help her make pastries and set the table for just the two of us," Thena recounted more fondly this time, and her body also relaxed again, slowly. "She was the one who really raised me."
Gil sighed through his nose, pressing his cheek to her hair, "I'm sorry I didn't know."
"I never told you," she said much more lightly, but happily accepted the closer snuggling. "It doesn't bother me--not anymore, that is to say. But I suppose that's why being here is quite refreshing."
He blinked at her, not really making the connection between the two.
But Thena took the liberty of rolling him onto his back again, solely so she could lie half on top of him, like a lizard on a rock. She tapped his nose, then dragged it down over his lips and chin (he needed a shave). "Your family is so warm and kind. I admit it overwhelmed me at first, the sheer density of their presence."
Kingo alone would do that to anyone, Gil defended in his mind. He wrapped his arms around her, letting her rest her chin on his chest, cramping his neck to he could watch her draw little circles in his shirt.
"They're wonderful, Gil," she concluded, drawing her eyes up to him more tenderly. It was almost shy, in how gentle the admission was. "It's the kind of warmth I remember longing for as a child. So, next time you worry that your mother is being overbearing, I assure you, I have invited it."
He chuckled; of course Thena would meet the double barrelled energy canon that was his mother and say that she invited her exuberance. Ajak was bright and bouncy and extroverted, while Thena was quiet and subdued and borderline unsociable. It made it all the more charming how much they seemed to like each other. "Could be worse in-laws, I guess."
The marriage itself was becoming less taboo as a subject.
"Much worse," Thena smiled with her teeth. It really was a stunning smile. She gripped a piece of shirt between her fingers. "What is this?"
He chuckled again, unwrapping his arms from her slim little waist and running his hands over her bare arms. "My shirt?"
"I mean," she frowned at it, "why are you wearing it?"
"Well," he got out pathetically, turning pink as soon as she pursed her lips at him in suspicion. He looked up and away from her, "'cause...y'know."
"I don't, it's why I asked," she sat up now, legs curled up beside her while she was almost perpendicular with his upper body. She grabbed a larger fistful of the shirt--the offending white cotton. "I know you get too hot easily, I don't believe you wear this to sleep in the summer."
Gil huffed; she was a good detective. "I usually sleep shirtless, but I didn't want you to feel weird about it."
"Oh," she purred, finding amusement in it. She tugged at it, "to protect my maidenly virtues?"
"Okay, come on," he sighed, embarrassed enough and trying to get her to release the fabric of it. "Is being a gentleman to my fiance so bad?"
She released the material, flattening her palm against his chest again. "It's not anything I haven't seen, by now."
Between the beach and all the times he had generally taken off his shirt to do heavy lifting or gardening for his mother while here, she had gotten enough of a look at him.
"But this is," he did his best to look her right in the eye (despite her holding back her laughter at him). "It's different."
She raised her eyebrows at him.
He sighed, finally relinquishing the last of his drowsiness and sitting up against the pillows. He still had a hold of her arms, fixing that errant night dress strap again. "Does it always do that?"
"Don't avoid the question."
"You didn't ask a question."
Thena tugged at the bottom of the t-shirt, only to pull it up just slightly, as if she were threatening to pull it off of him herself. "Why is it different?"
He sighed; the Goddess of War didn't get her name for being flexible and knowing when to quit. He moved his hands from her bare shoulders to her waist again, somewhat pulling her with him as he leaned back against the headboard. "Because, sleeping with you was already new. I figured what's the harm in a little modesty?"
She shrugged one of those shoulders, delicate and dainty and pale. And that stupid strap fell again. He secured his thumb right in the bend of her clavicle to fix it yet again.
"Does this even fit?" he grumbled, toying with the flimsy little strap of satin. He eyed her, "do you always wear this to sleep?"
Something about the question ruffled her, and he watched as a blush brightened her morning complexion. She looked around the bed, as if her answer had been lost in the sheets somewhere. "That's-"
"Guys?"
"Mom!" Gil barked at the door, his hands on Thena, her threatening to tip his shirt off him.
"What?--you said to knock, and I did!"
She had a point.
"I just wanted to say we're going to go out for brunch, honey--give you a break from all the cooking."
If it was going to be brunch - breakfast/lunch - why was she still coming to tell them at the crack of dawn?
"You kids continue...take your...just come downstairs when you're ready--okay, I'm going!"
Gil thunked his head against the headboard, looking up at the ceiling. Only his mother. He looked at Thena, whose blush had somehow doubled. That was interesting. He tilted his head, trying to see more of her face, but she twisted herself to avoid looking at him. "You okay?"
"Hm," she answered in a total cop out. She released his t-shirt, attempting to pull herself away from him without further incriminating herself.
"Ah-" he held her steady, leaning forward again. She looked really cute all flustered. He kissed her cheek, and he wasn't sure if he felt her shiver or if she twitched. "If you hate it so much, then fine, I won't wear it anymore."
He was only somewhat serious about it, although if it really bothered her, he didn't want to offend his bride-to-be. And he was more joking than anything. Although, when he finally moved to get up and get ready for the day, Thena tugged at the collar of it one more time.
She was still avoiding looking right at him, but god she was beautiful. "I didn't say I hated it. But...I wouldn't say you need it, either."
He could have said the same about the silky little dress-thing she was wearing, the straps of which obviously weren't working for her. But she did release him, and he did have to get up and maybe have a shower (maybe on the cooler side).
She looked at him as, on his way, he hooked his finger in that stupid strap again. He twisted it in his finger before letting it fall back to where it seemed to think it belonged. "Same to you."

So you have Sersi from the eternals as your dp. What do you like about her? Why do you think she is important? Just curious.
I waited to answer this so I could have time to collect my thoughts on Sersi and why's my fave.
I mean, the first time I saw the movie I was just. Drawn to her. I think from the moment she turned the stone dagger into gold, and then the timeskip and we saw her walking into work and talking to the statue of Charles Darwin I was like "Oh, she's gonna be my favourite, I can tell." And then I was right because every point after that I fell more in love with her and by the time the movie was over I was obsessed with her forever. So inexplicable attraction is the first reason.
One of the things I like about Sersi the most is that, for a movie that's about a team of aliens who have to live amongst humanity for thousands of years, Sersi is the one who fully embraces it, for good and bad. Phastos stopped, but came around again after making his own human family. Druig loves humanity, but his form of love is control - he would rather they not have any control over their lives if it meant they'd stop having conflict, because he knows better than them (I need Druig stans to stop acting like he loves humanity without acknowledging this, bc it's creepy and fucked up). But Sersi loves humanity, for good and for bad. Every time she's interacting with humans - back in Babylon, with the kids she teaches, in Druig's village, even the brief scene at Phastos's house - she's having a great time. She loves them. She more than anyone else has embraced this planet as her home, and these people as her own.
But that's also part of her internal conflict. the movie isn't as in depth with this unfortunately, but she's spent the last 7000 or however years thinking they'll all eventually return to Olympia, which is their 'real' home. So as much as she loves these people, however long she spends on Earth with them, she's going to have to leave eventually. She says it herself - they're just waiting for Arishem to tell them they can come home. And the Mission is what matters most, right? So she has to set up a barrier in her heart - Earth isn't her home, Olympia is. And that also is part of the conflict when they find out the truth about the convergence. Because it's throwing EVERYTHING she believed into question. because she spent forever loving these people, this planet, but also believing in the mission because why wouldn't she, she trusts Ajak, and now suddenly the mission has changed. and she has to choose between The Mission (even if the mission has changed) and everyone she loves dying. but she's still the first to say "We're not going to let everyone on earth die, right?!" like regardless of how much she struggles with making a choice on what to do, she knows there's only one right outcome, even if they don't know how to get there.
and like, as a story, narratively I wish Sersi had gotten to actually take charge of the group and make a clear decision without circumstances forcing her to do something she's still unsure about. but with her personality in mind, it makes sense to me. She's been thrust into leadership unexpectedly, not to mention it's made explicitly clear that her leadership isn't actually respected by the group (as a whole, individually it's different) because everyone thought it would be Ikaris instead and he's their de facto leader anyway. So her not having any idea what to do in this situation? Trying to decide, doubting herself, but still having to step up in the end - and STILL not sure she made the right choice? Makes so much sense to me. Very relatable. I felt that, I am her. Wish it had been different for the sake of her character arc, but I still get it.
I guess the final answer to your question of why I think she's important and what I like about her is that Sersi is that out of all of them, she fully steps into the life they have to lead. Sprite admits to being jealous of humans and sides with Ikaris, Ikaris is self explanatory, Gilgamesh and Thena both stepped away from human life, Ajak loves humanity and changes her mind but still is shown to be living a solitary life out in the middle of nowhere, Druig and Phastos I already talked about, Makkari hides away on the Domo for several centuries and besides curiosity about their artifacts doesn't seem interested in humans themselves, and Kingo does love the people of Earth but lives as a celebrity so not exactly one with the common man.
Sersi lives a normal life among the people she loves. Sersi is unsure about everything except that she won't let humanity die. Sersi is the one who wholeheartedly embraces Earth as her home the moment she's free to do so. Sersi is the one who loves them enough to do anything to save them, even when she doesn't believe she can. Sersi is the heart of the story, and the one who saves the day, even when she's scared and doesn't know if she's doing the right thing, because it's the only way to save everyone.
this whole thing got away from me I hope this makes sense I'm not going back to reread this and make it make sense or make it cohesive.
other random things I love about Sersi
she loves kids. every time she interacts with a kid she looks so happy. it's so cute.
green is my favourite colour so there was no way I wouldn't love her just because of that. and she looks so good in it too.
just watch her face when she, Ikaris and Sprite are watching Kingo's performance - she looks so delighted. Ikaris and Sprite are just like wtf but she looks so EXCITED!
she's 7000~ years old and she's still a terrible liar. Dane brings up her ex who's 7000 years old and can fly, and she says "he's a pilot".
her indecision is so relatable to me I said this already but it's true. Anyone would be struggling in her shoes.
she's GOOD and she's KIND. she tries her best.
her powers are so cool like. there's a boulder 3x her size flying her way, shot out of a volcanic eruption, and it takes one quick touch to turn it into a flock of birds. like if she were even a second off she'd die, but she doesn't even flinch.
people claim that druig doesn't care about anyone but Makkari and they're so wrong for that like he listens to Sersi, he does, in fact, care about her opinion and care about her. she doesn't demand his help or threaten him, she asks for his help and then tells him he's better than this, and he listens to her.
Ajak and Thena, obectively two of the coolest Eternals, are her biggest supporters so if you don't support Sersi they wouldn't support you, sorry.
in the comic on webtoon (which was not good but whatever) she collects trinkets and artifacts from everywhere they've been and it's filling the whole Domo, she's just like me fr (she and Makkari)
the way that when they're leaving Phastos's home, she reaches out to comort him as they're walking down the street. and when he's telling her (not Ikaris, he's only talking to Sersi even though Ikaris is also there) about losing his faith and getting it back with his family, she's listening with a sympathetic, understanding look. she gets it. she loves that he's found this family for himself. she's happy for him. they're best friends to me.
she's chronically late, talks to statues, is obsessed with her phone and apps, and forgets to silence her phone in the middle of important meetings. she's a dork. I love her so much.
hope this late, long rambling answer makes sense and answers your question!

When no one listens
Request: Maybe something thenamesh?? I don't know something cute and fluffy and the other eternals are so done with them - by anon, thank you so so much 🖤
Warnings: English is not my first language.
Pairing: Thena/Gilgamesh
Words: 792
Tumblr media
It is not an everyday thing to find Gilgamesh and Thena so close resting against each other. So, it is hard to pay attention to Ajak’s instructions as two very tired warriors snuggle in the back.
“Stop.” Thena threatens Kingo from afar with her stare.
“I should say the same thing,” he replies back, body fully turning towards them. “What is this that’s going on?”
She looks away and back to Ajak, ignoring him.
At some point during Ajak’s speech Thena rests her head against Gil’s shoulder earning the attention of Druig and Phastos, who just stare at each other like they are in the office.
“You see it too, right?” Asked Kingo.
“Uh,” Phastos takes a moment to think, but is cut off by Ajak.
“Are you guys even listening?” She speaks directly to everyone in the left corner which consist of Kingo, Phastos, and Druig. “What was I talking about?” She asks at their silence.
Kingo and Druig look at each other waiting for the other to talk as Phastos stutters to form an answer to no veil.
“You are talking about the re-distribution of the teams to travel overseas in the search of deviants.” Thena replies from her place attached to Gil’s rib.
Makkari frowns at her with a discerting look, and Sersi just looks marveled.
“Thank you, Thena; but I was talking to the corner on the left.” She gives them a stern look.
It is enough to make them stop, but it has now gained the attention of Sprite. She uses an illusion of herself sitting at the front listening to Ajak, while she walks invisible in the direction of Gilgamesh and Thena. She takes note of how they are holding hands, and how Gil’s thumb is brushing against Thena’s. Just when she is about to prank Gil tickling him with an invisible feather she hears Ajak calling out her name.
“Sprite, I hope you are not using an illusion again to escape. This is a very important matter.” Ajak talks like a mother with a warning tone.
Sprite hurries back to her place. “Sorry, Ajak.” She knows Ajak can detect her better than anyone, a special ability of the prime eternal.
At some point Gil starts to snooze nodding his head not fully asleep, and Thena wraps her arms around him to support him against her own shoulder like a mother would hold a child close. This has now caused distress between the eternals, even Ikaris is looking at them every now and then. Even Ajak blinked a few times in their direction, like trying to see if she was seeing right or it was one of Sprite’s illusions to stop her speech.
Kingo is fully turned towards them, ignoring Ajak right in front of her salad. The salad being a very cozy Gilgamesh and Thena. Phastos’ jaw has almost dropped to the floor, he keeps looking back and forth between Ajak and them. Druig is seeking comfort with Makkari, trying to ignore the scene, but it doesn’t help when the speedster is also occasionally looking at them and trying to gossip with Phastos and Kingo from afar. Sprite joined the corner on the left trying to get a more discreet glimpse of the two strong eternals in the other corner. At this point Sersi is just completely distracted by Ikaris standing next to her at the right side of the hall.
“I’m going to do it.” Mumbles Druig.
“I-” Phastos stutters. “It would be better if-” He struggles to find the right words. “You know what? Do as you please.”
“Don’t mind control them in front of Ajak.” Sprite intervenes.
“Gil?” They all hear Thena’s whispers. “My feet are cold.”
Gil soon takes her feet into his hands and between them to warm them up.
“Okay!” Kingo declares loudly as everyone else starts to complain, disrupting Ajak’s speech. They all get up shaking their head as Ajak looks at them confused.
“And where do you all think you are going?” She asks as they start to leave.
“We don’t even get cold.” Complains Phastos on their way out.
“Nice talk, Ajak. I might throw up.” Druig says.
“This has been the weirdest experience ever.” Sprite says. “I hope it never repeats.”
“What is going on?” Sersi asks as she follows them out.
Ajak shakes her head as she takes a deep breath trying to keep her cool. Her eyes fall on two very exhausted eternals on the right corner that stare right back at her not even one bit of guilt in their faces.
“So, are we dismissed?” Asks Gil.
“Just go.” Ajak says so done for the day.
But she can’t help but smile as she sees them walk out together; hand in hand.

maybe it wasn't bad after all
Ajak x Goddess!Reader
Request: Hi! I was wondering if you could do a one shot with reader and ajak? But it’s after the emergence stuf and she’s alive? Maybe it’s how the reader ( who’s some type of non—human creature), and ajak meet? And how ajak gets flustered easily around the reader? If you could that would be great! Thank you so much!
A/N: two things: established hela x thena relationship, hela x reader bestfriends bc they're goddesses AND IM SO SORRY THAT IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO POST IT
Tumblr media
Something shifted in Ajak's behavior after the whole stopping of the Emergence plan and Ikaris flying to the sun. She considered Ikaris as her closest companion, maybe not comparable to her relationship with Thena.
She treated her as the favorite child out of everyone on their team. Ikaris leaving and choosing to protect Arishem's design left a void not only in her heart but in the purpose of her living as well. All she wanted was to stop the birth of the celestial and save the Earth even if it means disobeying Arishem, but it came with a price she cannot bear to accept: Ikaris.
She blames herself for Ikaris' decisions. Maybe if she hadn't told him the truth and the purpose of their existence, he wouldn't have left Sersi. Maybe Sersi may have convinced Ikaris to join them in saving humanity and not go against his 'family' despite his unwavering loyalty to Arishem because his unwavering love for Sersi was more. Maybe he was still together with them, with her.
The Eternals are not dumb to not notice how their Prime Eternal was still affected by all that happened to them. She was always level-headed, strong, and impartial as their leader. But this, with the whole Ikaris ordeal, no one exactly knows how to help her. Ajak was always there to help them deal with their issues, the mediator, their emotional and rational pillar, but who would be the pillar if she requires one?
That's why they collectively agreed to frequently visit Ajak's cabin, taking turns but always overlapping with one another. The most frequent visitors are Sersi and Sprite, who are now visiting together after their reconciliation. It is working, but it couldn't do much. It came to the point where Ajak tried to convince them to stop, but they didn't listen.
Tomorrow morning, she noticed Makkari and Kingo laughing in front of a monitor. Ajak silently walked towards them to see what they were doing.
They were too immersed in the monitor that they didn't hear Ajak coming to them.
"No, don't say that. It's a turn-off," Makkari signed. Kingo just smirked and sent the message he typed.
Kingo sent the most terrible reply after what seemed to be a suggestive exchange of messages then unmatched with the person.
"What were you doing?" Ajak asked. In a sudden moment, they exchanged glances in realization, which didn't go unnoticeable to Ajak. Is she in trouble? Yes. Was it a bad idea that she let her curiosity dominate? Without a doubt.
They made Ajak sit down, briefing her about how the internet works, then explaining what they were doing and how it works, mainly how you can find someone to talk to. Ajak is a fast learner, but they knew she wasn't interested enough to try this so they made her an account and forced her to make a match while they were there.
Ting. Match successful.
Ajak sent "Hi" as her message. Kingo grunts and Makkari stoops down her shoulders. She's a starter, let's give her that, they think.
You replied with a greeting, and thankfully you asked a lot of questions that kept the conversation going really interesting. The three Eternals were so invested in you.
At one point, you unknowingly asked her if she believes in God, and the two masterminds beside Ajak wanted to laugh their asses off with the question. With the way you asked, "Do you believe in God?", that's what religious emissaries spreading the word of God would say.
I see why you said you don't believe in God.
You sent it, and it was an understatement to say Ajak was utterly confused. She's clueless about whether it's genuine, a joke, or sarcasm. She saw the typing icon, so she waited on what were you going to say. Kingo already understands the reason why you brought up this out-of-place topic.
I don't think He could create someone as stunning as you.
Ajak felt her cheeks heating with what you said. Add that to the embarrassment she feels knowing that two of her team members were watching this whole exchange. Kingo was right, people on the internet can be really.. scary. How can you manage to be cocky in front of a monitor and say whatever you want to someone?
Well lucky you, because that message would be the reason Ajak is always on her phone to talk to you for the whole day in the next months.
When you finally dared to tell your best friend Hela about your chat buddy on a dating app, oh how she takes great pleasure in teasing you. It did not help that her wife Thena was in the game.
You've been single for years now, and Hela (courtesy of her brothers Thor and Loki, but mainly the mischievous one) introduced you to a dating app. She says she wants you to get laid so you wouldn't bother the couple on holidays, again. The last time you asked to drink with them because you were lonely on holiday, they (Hela) almost kicked you out the moment you got sober after making them take care of you.
The bad thing about divulging into this dating app was not only just letting Hela get into your mind about it, but you forgot how small Earth is. You never told the couple the identity of the person, and they didn't pry about it because they're just delighted you're finally entertaining someone. Until Thena invited you to join them on the family dinner slash reunion with the other Eternals.
You didn't want to be there, because as Thena mentioned, it's a family dinner. On holidays, where you can wander around the world or just talk 24/7 to Ajak at that time. However, thanks to those wives who have their own world and are scary when they join their forces together, you can say you just have to make bad choices sometimes.
The dinner is hosted in Thena and Hela's house, and you were the one in charge of the decoration of the house and mostly helped in the preparation of the dinner itself.
Everything is almost done except for the main course when someone knocks on the door. Thena fixed her apron and walked towards the door. Opening, she was greeted with smiles and hugs from every Eternal. One by one, as if by cue, they go inside after offering their greetings and small gifts to Thena.
Something tells you to glance over the visitors, and you did. Only to see the Eternal Thena is currently hugging.
You knew Ajak as the Prime Eternal whom Thena always seemed to cherish the most whenever she tells stories about her family. You never realized that the Ajak you were talking to online was the same Ajak that was almost killed by her favorite child and saved the Earth with the other Eternals from the emerging celestial.
Idiot. It should have occurred to you when you thought it was too unique for a human to bear the name.
Before removing herself from Thena's embrace, her eyes found yours. She saw you. She saw you. Not even in your best form. You're aware of how much of a mess you look having a few minutes to dress up and fix yourself. However, it was too late to retreat now.
Makkari and Kingo noticed the subtle shock on their Prime Eternal's face. Following her vision, they finally saw the woman who was making Ajak's day filled with joy rather than sadness after the incident.
You noticed the other pairs of eyes as well, chuckling at how the two were signing to each other about you and Ajak. You don't want to gossip, but you discovered that they refer to you as "the God". Ajak told you during one of your calls that she was forced by her friends to join the app and helped her through it, and you put the pieces together.
———
The time has flown by fast. Everyone is currently enjoying their booze before retiring for the night, except for Sersi who went first to bed after tasting the alcohol from Asgard, with Sprite and Phastos following moments after. Only the three of you, Ajak and Thena, were not drinking—though Thena took some when she was trying to stop her wife from drinking more. Ajak, being the mother figure that she is, you assume, chooses to be sober to take care of the remaining Eternals. You? You feel drunk with her presence alone.
It was a challenge to maintain your interest to have a chat and listen to the other Eternals. You weren't rude enough to ignore their questions, but the only times you opened your mouth were to respond to their inquiries and feed yourself. You don't know what they're talking about because you were too occupied being mindful with the Prime Eternal by your side, not wanting to look more foolish in her presence.
Whenever she needed something, whether the condiments or to taste the food placed on the other side of the table, you were fast to move even before she spoke about it. You find charm in watching her being flustered and trying hard to hide her emotions by avoiding your eyes whenever your fingers graze on each other.
"Wrong. It is my Makkari." Druig glances at Makkari sweetly, to which she reciprocates and smiles.
It seems that Druig and Hela were bantering about their partners. Hela is already conceited, which gets worse with a combination of a topic about her wife or her reign and journey as the queen, and liquor from Asgard.
"Morons. It is Thena, my beloved, who was worshipped as a goddess by the midgardians, befitting as her wife is the queen of Asgard."
"I have to throw up," you seriously said, earning a glare from Hela.
"Me too." Thena butted.
Both of you stood up but went in different directions. Thena went straight to the kitchen, still pretending to throw up about Hela's comment which gained laughs from everyone, while you went outside the porch to breathe.
You didn't know that Ajak plans to follow you shortly after. When she made her way to the porch, you noticed her and rubbed the chair beside you of dust knowing that it was clean. She sat on it while looking at how you seemingly shine so brightly, complementing the night sky.
After a few minutes that seemed long to you, you heard her speak.
"So do you always say those," she pauses, contemplating if she should continue, "things when you talk to other people?" She starts the conversation, ending her question with a tone stronger than she intended to. You were confused for a second about what she was referring to, then you realized it was your messages with her. You believe you simply misheard the jealousy and insecurity in her voice.
You shook your head. "I learned from the Avengers. The phrases. Really a bunch. My first and last time using it. It just slipped my mind that humans like those phrases, and I tried." You explained while trying to check her reaction.
You don't want Ajak to think you are a flirt. Sure, being a goddess entails experience, but you were not an expert on it in contrast to your Goddess of Death friend. You innocently thought she was a human from your first interaction, so you tried to apply what you've learned from humans during your stay here.
Silence enveloped the two of you. It is totally fine with you since you can admire the woman beside you whose eyes wander at the now appearing stars in peace.
"Your voice is more enticing than in phone calls."
"Only my voice?"
Ajak raises her eyebrows in shock and embarrassment. How she wants to melt in your gaze while she listens to your voice.
"You're ravishing," she replies, her voice a bit wavering.
The silence once again made its presence known around the porch. Both have no intention of wanting it to leave, yet they want to hear each other's voice even if the words don't make sense.
"That Arishem should have a little credit for creating a beauty like you," you complimented. "Probably the best," you whisper.
And that's where Ajak lost it. The composure she's been trying to maintain the moment she set foot in the house and saw you in the kitchen cooking. The moment your eyes met in shock and joy when both realized your unconventional first meeting. The glances you steal at each other at the table when one thought the other wasn't looking.
She kept on looking everywhere except your eyes. The floor, the walls, and the whole night sky became her best friends.
You simply smiled at how adorable her reaction is. You thought it would be the other way around, aware of your tendency to develop a whole personality to cover your nervousness.
"Would you go with me, Miss Prime Eternal?"
"To where?"
"To get married."
That gains her full attention to you. She heartily laughs.
You add, "For a walk. And other things," pausing, "More like exploring each other's universe and be a part of it."
She finally stared right into your eyes lovingly.
"Haven't you already?" She inquires, a tiny smirk forming on her lips.

Sharing Burdens
Thena watches the sun set and remembers.
She's seen an infinite number or sun sets and yet this one. . . this one in it's blinding glory fries her retinas and seeps into her brain just like so many before it.
It's light spreads through her mind and she remembers everything and nothing all at once.
What is this?
When did she have a weapon in her hand?
She blinks and feels something wet across her cheek.
She thinks it's tears but when she wipes it away her hands comes back red.
Not tears.
The world returns and she looks down to see Gil laying at her feet, blood seeping from a wound on his chest and the world grows dark.
This is what she fears.
It's happened a few times but usually he's able to handle it, usually he's able to handle her and her head hurts as she drops to her knees and puts her hands on him.
"Gil. . ." She whispers.
He makes a pained noise. "I'll be okay." He say's but he sounds bad, like he's hurting and it's all her fault.
"I'm so sorry." She say's, hands and voice shaking.
His hand, his free hand finds hers and takes it tightly. "It was an accident, Thena." He whispers. "I'll be okay."
She nods mutely and helps him into the house and onto the bed.
Her hands would shake if she didn't stop them and while she knows he can heal the guilt of it and the blind confusion tears at her just the same. She never has proper memories when she loses control. Her mind becomes a broken jumble of images and recollections, some of which she can't even piece together enough to make sense of.
Gil groans on the bed and she stills the tremors in her chest and makes herself take care of him. She's there for him as he has been for her.
"Thena. . . it's not your fault." He whispers and she closes her eyes, weary from her own mind and the feelings tearing at her soul.
She removes his shirt as gently as she can, minding the stab wound on his side and exhaling when she see's it is not so deep.
He won't die from something like this but she could kill him, it's a very real fear they both live with and one of her most private terrors.
He takes her hand when she cannot make her thoughts stop and squeezes it, squeezes it despite his own pain and the state of chaos they live in. "It's not your fault." He whispers.
"I don't remember." She say's, voice just as soft.
He nods. "You don't need to, it isn't worth it."
She could weep, she very nearly does as she bandages his side and touches the skin she's wounded.
Ajak could have done a better job, she's the healer. Thena is a warrior, one of the greatest but right now it's just that that's caused this harm. Just her and her weapons.
Gil is looking at her sadly. "Will you say something, Thena?" He asks.
She shakes her head, afraid to hear the sound of her own voice as she helps him dress in a fresh shirt and more comfortable trousers.
He stops her and takes her hand again. "It's okay." He whispers again and she wants to cry so very badly. Everything is confusing and strange and she can feel earth quakes that couldn't possibly be happening. Earth quakes that are from another world.
"I'm sorry." She whispers and he pulls her to the bed to lay with him, on his good side now and it's unfair.
He's hurt and she's the one that hurt him and he's still holding her, still telling her it's okay.
"I love you, Thena. This doesn't matter." He say's.
She curls against him, as proud as she is she can be just a little vulnerable with Gil. He deserves to see that side of her after all he's done. He deserves her honest self and even as strong as she is he's seen her at her worst.
Lost and confused.
"What if it happens again?" She asks.
He sighs. "Then we face it when it does. I think you did a pretty good job patching me up anyway so if it does then you already know what to do." He say's.
She tries to smile, his voice is light and his body warm against hers.
He'll heal faster than a human could. She knows this but until he does she'll feel guilt in her guts and she'll worry.
"I love you too." She whispers back, the night dark outside now.
He sighs a little more comfortably. "I know."
He'll be healed in a matter of days, perhaps fewer but just the same she feels guilt and regret at having hurt him. This is always the risk and yet the few times it's happened have nearly broken her heart.
You aren't supposed to hurt the one's you love. You're supposed to take care of them but she can so seldom take care of Gil, it's all him. It's all him caring for her and for someone as strong as she is it bothers her a lot. She doesn't like being weak or dependent, she doesn't like not being able to give back to him what he gives to her but somehow he's never had enough, somehow he's always chosen to stay with her.
She lays next to him and feels the heat from his body.
Feels the love from his body and wonders at how much longer they have. How many more accidents before it's too late and everything is ruined?
They're living on a wire like this.
Waiting for the next time things go wrong, knowing nothing will make it better, nothing will put her mind back together and yet here they are together just the same, laying next to each other in their little corner of the world. . .
She wouldn't ask for anyone else and so even if she can't promise him anything better she promises him herself. Her love and her gratitude and everything in between that comes from so many millennia together.
They've loved and fought along side each other, shaped the world and been part of a family, they've shared countless meals and cups of wine and watched infinite sun sets. . . now cut off from the rest of the world they lay together without a mission and Thena feels confusion and love and knows that there is no other place in the world she'd rather be.
Gil heals over the next few days and for a few days she's almost clear headed. She takes care of him for once, indulging him when he asks for meals in bed and enjoying her little chance to do what she can.
She isn't so far gone that she can't do this and for a few days Gil get's to be spoiled and looked after.
It almost makes her feel like her mind is put together the way it's supposed to be. It isn't but she let's herself pretend for a few days and let's Gil rest until he's back on his feet just the way he promised.
It isn't easy and there will be more roads walked that end badly, Thena lives with that fear and if Gil is afraid he doesn't say it, he just stays by her side and that's the only thing in the world that still matters.
The two of them have their little corner and no matter what happens for now it's theirs.

I watched Wednesday when it came out, I watched the TikTok’s, read the tumblr posts, and I gotta say… Is this twilight all over again?
Now I have my favorite ships, my least favorite ships, but I don’t like the whole Team Tyler vs Team Xavier. Did we not learn anything from Twilight? When I was talking to a friend, they brought it up and I agreed.
Keep in mind that I am asexual, I love Xavier, and I have been watching Addams family content since I was a little kid. I had a massive crush on Wednesday when I was little and saw us as alike. Hell I dressed up as her for an entire month before my mom told me to stop.
Wednesday has always made me feel seen as someone who is confused when it came to emotions because that’s what she is, confused about certain emotions. She feels the need to conceal them to the point where she is numb. Which is part of why I hate this “THIS SHIP HAS TO BE ENDGAME.” Like no. I’ve seen Endgame. Not a great thing tbh. Jokes aside, I don’t want Wednesday to date at all. She feels good as a stand alone character. Having Enid as her soulmate is possible but she is at best a demiromantic. I don’t think she even liked Tyler romantically but was curious.
Continuing this, I like Tyler with Xavier if either HAS to be with someone. They are both insanely misogynistic and feel like Wednesday owes them and it felt like, in one scene, that Tyler was basically calling her stupid not seeing his hints.
Now I love Xavier. I’m actually writing a fanfiction with my own OC but I will say that despite the fact I think he is great, he doesn’t love Wednesday. Nor does Tyler. Tyler made me feel like he was trying to win something. (Love him still though). Xavier made me feel like he was owed Wednesday’s love. Especially when he got all pissy at the Dance scene.
I like Enid and Ajax together. They are really sweet and anyone who complains about how “Enid is lesbian!” Enid is Pansexual and so is Ajak (both are headcanons but I see it a lot).
Now that my complaining is out of the way: my actual headcanons
Tyler is closeted homophobic bisexual leaning towards girls.
Xavier reads as someone who has a homophobic father but is bisexual.
Wednesday is Demiromantic Asexual but still figuring herself out
Enid doesn’t like labels but will say she is under the pan umbrella
Ajax would agree
Bianca is a siren plus her mother feels homophobic but still a siren so genderfluid pansexual
And Yoko is Asexual Lesbian/Pan with a preference for girls :)
All in all, this is a silly show with fictional characters. I would be annoyed if Wednesday started dating Xavier but it is ultimately not my decision.

Eternals (2021) #1 Sersi variant cover by Danny Miki Thinking about how I really like not only how properly “witty hedonistic diva” that Gillen wrote Sersi, but also how complex and manipulative. Sersi has always been BOTH these things, of course, from her introduction in 1976 she’s had a nastiness that’s rare in heroes and even rarer in heroines. Alongside the aforementioned witty hedonistic diva angle, it’s why I call her the Emma of the Eternals/Emma before Emma existed/Emma before Emma was Emma. She’s unapologetically haughty and high-femme in a way much more typical of the “vain sorceress” stock villain type, but she’s never portrayed as bad for THIS reason; if anything, it’s other women who have a problem with HER for it, namely Thena, whom Thor (iirc) points out always dislikes women who prefer high heels to swords and spears. No, the reason Sersi is portrayed as kind of a jerk is because she is. .  .kind of a jerk. From transforming Deviants who attacked her into lizards with no intent to turn them back in her second issue (remember, Deviants are a sentient race in the comics, not animal-like monsters), to her unapologetic use of Dane Whitman as her Gann-Josin (basically a mentally bonded soulmate) to stabilize herself during an emotionally unstable time without regard for his feelings, wellbeing, or even the fact he DIDN’T CONSENT BEFORE IT WAS DONE (in fairness to Sersi, she didn’t do it, Ikaris did, but she sure didn’t give a damn that Dane didn’t say yes) during the 90s, Sersi’s consistently portrayed as being pretty questionable in her morality. Like, you can see it from her perspective in both cases–the Deviants were hostile enemies ready to kill her and an innocent human in the former instance, she was mentally unstable and needed help in the latter—but that doesn’t exactly make either the most moral option, ESPECIALLY in Dane’s case. Sersi’s not a nice person. She’s arguably not even a good person. And I love that. As The Machine puts it, “Sersi is Complicated.” See, in Gillen’s era of The Eternals, The Machine That Is Earth (basically, the Machine that catalogs the Eternals, narrates to the audience about them, and brings them back to life when they die, all with a witty personality that makes it a character in itself who I really like) designates each Eternal with a single word that encapsulates them. Ajak is a Believer. Ikaris is an Arrow. Druig is a Snake. And Sersi is Complicated. And Gillen brings that out with stuff like telepathically messing with Tony’s mind or taking much pleasure in making Thanos suffer. Both of which are like…not good, but not bad per se either, because the former is for a good reason and the other is freaking Thanos. Again, very Emma, who also has done telepathic manipulation of others for The Greater Good and openly taken sadistic pleasure (even as a hero) in the pain of foes. But two quotes from his Sersi that brought this post on in particular was: Tony: “You seem sad, Sersi. I’ve seen you laugh at the end of the world. What’s on your mind?” Sersi: “oh, I’ve been spending too much time among my people. I’m much happier among humans. Mayflies dancing in the summer breeze makes one feel young. But I am far from young, Tony. And sometimes, it’s hard to forget.” Which, is very sad. And also very fucked because she literally just said she enjoys being around humans BECAUSE of how comparatively BRIEF our lifespans are to her makes HER feel young. Many immortal characters are depicted as tortured by the fact mortals they care for will age and die so fast, but for Sersi this is apparently exactly what appeals to her. And honestly? I LOVE THAT. Angsty sad “everyone I love will die!” immortals are honestly pretty boring and overdone to me. Sersi’s fucked-up POV is a breath of fresh air and actually makes a lot of sense as a cope. The other absolutely fucked up thing is. . .for an Eternal to be resurrected by the Machine, it has to take a life from a random human on Earth. Most Eternals do not know this. And when they find out, usually they are mindwiped by The Machine to forget it so that they don’t make trouble over it. When the other Eternals find this horrific fact out in Gillen’s run, it turns out Sersi knows it full well and informs them that this is how it always goes: Sersi: “And every time, this happens. It’s always the same [. . .] This does not work well for any of you.” Phastos: “What about you?” Sersi: “I have learned to care less. To be carefree. Cuts both ways. We are a heartless species.” [. . .] The Machine, narrating to the reader: “Sersi does something unfamiliar. She doesn’t lie this time. She cannot bear it. In time, she wonders what that means.” Sersi, to the other Eternals: “You’ll be mindwiped. All will continue, as it did last time, and the time before that, et cetera , et cetera. You see Thena, you are right to be jealous of the Deviants.  They are something we can never be. We are just the same mistakes, echoing down cathedral corridors of empty gods. The forgetting is a blessing.  The only freedom we have is from the knowledge of what we are.” But Sersi doesn’t have that freedom. She KNOWS what she is. And damn, I dig that.

Back by ‘popular’ demand (aka 2 people saying they like my story leaves me warm and fuzzy inside). I’ll admit, forgot the plot and also the comfort part of this installment but enjoy more angst at least! Also, robots!
Heart of Gold PART 2
"So Midas, King of Lydia, swelled at first with pride when he found he could transform everything he touched to gold; but when he beheld his food grow rigid and his drink harden into golden ice then he understood that this gift was a bane and in his loathing for gold, cursed his prayer.”
-Claudian, In Rufinum
Throughout the past week, Sersi has learned some uncomfortable truths about herself.
She’s a robot, as are the others.
That should startle her more than it does. She seems to have lost the ability to be startled, everything enveloped in a numb envelope of shock.
The others though, they’re plenty startled.
First, they’re startled, horrified, by Sersi, staring at her like they haven’t known her for an age. Maybe they haven’t. The Sersi they know wouldn’t hurt a fly, and Sersi knows somehow, fundamentally, that she’s changed, however unintentionally.
Then, they realize that they might be like her, ticking time bombs, monsters lingering under their own skins. She’s not sure which is worse, the looks they give her after what happened to Sprite, or how they look at themselves, at their own hands with horrified curiosity, as Phastos brakes the news.
“It’s the only explanation for Sprite’s condition,” he assures them, as if cold hard science will somehow make the truth easier to swallow.
No, the looks aren’t the worst part, Sersi is sure, nor is the way that everyone refuses to touch her, even Ikaris.
The worst part is Sprite, still immobile, frozen and gleaming like a twisted monument to the dynamic sister she once knew.
Sersi hates herself.
Sersi hates her ‘gift.’
She’s always thought that the Eternals and their powers were placed on earth to help people. However, in just the past month, numerous humans, Greek and Trojan alike, lost their lives while the Eternals quarreled. Now, they can’t even save one of their own from something they’ve created — she’s created.
It isn’t for lack of trying. Ajak goes off somewhere, probably to try contacting Arishem, once she realizes her healing powers are of no use to Sprite.
Druig has been attempting to make contact with Sprite, but so far has gotten nothing. He doesn’t say that Sprite is dead, but Sersi doesn’t need his mind powers to tell that he’s thinking it.
Phastos has been diligently tinkering in what appears to be his own arm after the robot reveal. Sersi doesn’t want to think about it too much. She definitely doesn’t want to think about what she’ll do if he comes at her with his scalpel and wrench. If he asks to crack her open, she’s not sure what she’ll say, even if it’s to fix her own mistake — even if it’s to save Sprite.
Yes she’s definitely changed, though it’s hard to be altruistic when it feels like her whole family and her body have turned on her.
With startling clarity, she suddenly understands how Sprite must feel.
And now Sersi has forced the final betrayal of body and family on Sprite, paralyzing and perhaps… perhaps killing her sister.
Sersi grips Sprite’s cold, hard hand, the only one she’s allowed to touch anymore, and cries.
Heart of Gold
Aka
The Sersi as Midas story that wouldn’t get out of my head after that one line in the movie - you know the one. Plus, I have this headcanon that it’d be possible for Sersi to accidentally use her powers on the other Eternals because they’re inorganic beings and that’s how they find out they’re basically really fancy robots. (Sprite is somehow turned human in the movie their powers don’t make that much sense let me have this headcanon.)
======
Sersi doesn’t remember what they were fighting about.
Sprite was annoying enough on a good day, but with the Greek and Trojan war pending, everyone was on edge.
The Eternals were divided on who to support. Most of them, including Thena, Makkari, Phastos, and Ajak were adamant in their support of the Greeks. Druig had taken a neutral stance, offering (like always) to diffuse the situation entirely. The other were explaining (like always) why this wasn’t a viable solution, when Sersi interrupted.
“Maybe we should help the Trojans.”
Everyone went silent, staring at her like they worried she might have developed Mahd Wy’ry or a second head.
“They’re just trying to defend their homes,” she continues quietly. “Sure, Paris may have messed up, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the Trojans should die because of him.”
Ikarus, who’d had yet to express an opinion despite Sprite trying to recruit him to the Achaeans’ side, was now nodding.
“I think Sersi has a point,” he says, and Sersi smiles at him gratefully.
She doesn’t understand why this sets Sprite off, but one minute, she’s quietly standing in the corner, staring at their tactical maps, and the next she’s blowing up at Sersi.
“So we’re so bad because we want justice for the Greeks now?” she snipes, voice an octave higher than usual. “Is that it??”
“That-that’s not what I meant,” Sersi stammers out, hurt, but Sprite barely seems to hear her.
“I know exactly what you meant,” Sprite snaps. “Sersi, with her heart of gold, here to save the day again.”
Something inside Sersi hardens. How dare Sprite insinuate Sersi is doing this for her own image?? This is people’s lives they’re talking about. If anyone doesn’t seem to be recognizing the gravity of this conversation, it’s Sprite.
Sersi opens her mouth to say all this, but Sprite whirls to leave. Sersi grabs her arm before she can. Sprite stares at her in shock and it takes Sersi a second to realize why.
She watches in shock as color creeps up Sprite’s arm, leaching the lively flush from the flesh and turning it cold and hard. Sprite’s limb is rigid in Sersi’s grip as they both freeze, Sersi from shock and Sprite from something else. Something Sersi is doing to her.
A strong grip wrenches Sersi away from Sprite and it takes her a minute to realize she’s being crushed in Gilgamesh’s arms.
“Can’t. Breathe,” she gasps as he stares worriedly to where Phastos and Ajak are quickly surrounding Sprite, obscuring her body from view. His attention shifts back to Sersi and his vice grip loosens quickly.
“Sorry,” he says, something like regret (and fear?) in his voice.
Gilgamesh’s grip isn’t harsh, Sersi notes with relief. He’s not treating her like an assailant, but he is careful not to touch her bare skin, Sersi realizes, a shard of ice shooting down her spine.
“I thought your power only worked on inorganic objects?” Gilgamesh was muttering into her hair, as if hoping she’d explain herself. Explain, at least, that she hadn’t meant to do- well, whatever she’d done.
She could reassure him of the second part, but didn’t know what to make of the first. She’d done something she didn’t know she was capable of. Something awful she still didn’t know the full extent of, to a friend, a family member, and for the first time, she was scared of herself.
She watches in confusion as Ajak runs her hands over Sprite’s curiously rigid form, shaking her head. She still can’t see her face, but she can tell Sprite’s skin tone looks off somehow.
It must be bad if Ajak can’t fix it.
Something in Sersi breaks.
At some point Ikarus materializes by her side. Sersi barely notes his arrival through her numb haze. “What did I do to her, what did I do?” The thought runs through her head over and over and she might have said it out loud at some point if Gilgamesh’s somber expression is anything to go by.
“What did you do to her?” Ikarus asks, surprisingly calmly, and it takes her a moment to realize someone else is giving voice to the question.
“What did I do?” Sersi echoes, hollowly.
Her vision blurs and suddenly she’s collapsing, being cradled in someone’s arms, arms more gentle than Gilgamesh’s.
What was happening?
Was she passing out? She’d seen Gilgamesh knock people out like that, by squeezing them, but that wasn’t right. He’d let go hadn’t he?
“Hey, breathe,” the person holding her says gently. Definitely not Gilgamesh.
Ikarus’ face swims back into focus as her breathing calms.
“Better?” he asks, concern on his face.
That’s wrong too, she thinks. He should be giving his concern to Sprite, where she’s now lying down on the floor, in a spot Sersi can just see over his shoulder. He shouldn’t waste it on her.
Ikarus notices where she’s looking and quickly tries to pull her attention away.
“Hey, hey, none of that,” Ikarus says, still in that tone of voice. Like she’s a wild animal. Like she’s dangerous.
She’s heard Gilgamesh speak that way to Thena before, and it scares her.
Her breathing picks up again.
“Hey, it’s ok,” Ikarus says, cupping her face in his hands. “Sprite is ok and so are you.”
“What did I do to her?” Sersi asks once more, and Ikarus bites his lip, before seeming to decide that seeing Sprite might actually help Sersi’s panic.
“Come on,” he says gently, guiding her to her feet gently by her elbow.
They hobble together over to Sprite’s inert form, where Sersi once again collapses to her knees.
Ajak shifts a bit to block Sersi’s access to Sprite, which hurts a bit but is probably justified, but they let her see her at least. Sersi sort of wishes they didn’t.
Sprite looks wrong, her legs and arms bent rigidly in a weird pose, and it takes a moment for Sersi to realize she’s still posed like she was when she was standing, despite her current position on the floor.
Her skin and clothes are all a weird, waxy yellow, and it takes Sersi a minute to recognize the hue as gold.
Ajak and Phastos won’t let her touch Sprite, but Sersi is suddenly certain that if she did, she’d be cold and hard to the touch.
Like metal.
Like solid gold.
She remembers the last thing that Sprite had said.
“Sersi with her heart of gold, saving the day again.”
And suddenly a historical laugh threatens to bubble from her throat.
She realizes why Ajak can’t fix her, why Phastos is by her side now.
Sprite had been turned into gold.
=====
There’ll probably be a second part of this with the robot reveal and comfort portion but we’ll see.

DARKEST LITTLE PARADISE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing druig x fem!reader
wc 4.1k
requested ? yes
note i got a LOT of requests so i decided to combine a few of them, hope you guys don’t mind :) i recommend playing don't blame me by taylor swift since i listened to that on repeat as i wrote this lmao and bold italics are flashbacks !!
Tumblr media
“so, we have to go find the others and put an end to the emergences,” sersi finished, watching your back still at the kitchen sink, dish in hand. in silence, you turned off the tap, placed the plate on the drying rack, and turned to face your long-time friend as you wiped your hands with a towel.
you looked at sersi, at sprite and ikaris and kingo and thena and gilgamesh, biting the inside of your cheek. there were seven of you in your house right now, which meant you still had to find phastos, makkari, and druig. you were somewhat thrilled about seeing the former two friends, but facing druig...the male you had spent an eternity pining over...you weren’t so fond of the idea.
“does ajak know you stole that?” druig’s familiar accent made you turn around, eyes narrowing at the dark-haired eternal just before he snatched the red artifact from your hands. he pretended to be interested in the antique book, flipping through the yellowed pages as he dodged your incoming hands.
you shook your head, trying to take back the novel with little success. “no. and she doesn’t need to know, so don’t even think about telling her.”
druig looked at you, tilting his head to the side as he said, “my beautiful, beautiful y/n, i’m hurt that you think i’m a snitch.”
“you’re more a flirt than a snitch,” you muttered, letting your hands fall slack by your sides. “now please give me the damn book, druig.”
“what do i get in return?” the male questioned, the smirk on his face growing. he held the book to his chest as he waited for your answer.
you jutted a hip out and placed a hand on your hip, raising an eyebrow as you remarked, “a clear conscious. now give me the book, or i’m gonna-”
“or you’re gonna what?” druig jeered, daring you to finish the intended threat.
“or i’m going to tell ajak that you interfered with a fight today at a bar,” you said, nodding in confirmation.
druig’s eyebrows rose, and he took a few steps closer to you, amused at your pathetic warning. “am i supposed to be scared of that? ajak already knows i deal with their quarrels, love. it’s nothing new.”
you took your bottom lip between your teeth as you searched your mind for something else to say, and you had failed to notice that druig had practically cornered you against the stone wall.
“how about this; if i give the book back, you have to walk with me, first thing in the morning for three weeks. we wouldn’t be going far, just to the markets and stalls, maybe even the gardens if you’re up for it,” druig said, letting the offer hang in the air.
“deal,” you said almost immediately, grabbing the book from his outstretched hands without a second thought.
“i’ll go,” you decided, finally giving in to helping your friends. they needed you and you knew it. hanging up the hand towel, you asked, “who are we tracking down next?”
“someone i think you’d be rather excited to see,” you heard kingo muse from your dining table, taking a sip of the tea you had prepared earlier.
groaning, you massaged the bridge of your nose, wondering why the universe wasn’t on your side today. “why can’t we go get phastos instead?”
“because we have to cross an ocean to get to him. druig, however, isn’t too far from here,” sersi said. ikaris nodded along with her.
you sighed deeply, crossing your arms over your chest. “well, then let’s get this reunion over with, i suppose.”
Tumblr media
“it’s so humid,” sprite complained beside you, fanning herself with a hand as she walked. “it’s sticky and hot and i don’t like it.”
“jesus fucking christ, i couldn’t agree more,” you grumbled, smacking your arm for the fifth time in ten minutes. “these bugs are killing me. who knew immortality didn’t come with free mosquito passes.”
“it’s not so bad,” kingo tried to suggest, but as the words came out he swatted at his face, wriggling in his spot as he tried to dodge a bug you couldn’t see.
you watched as karun video-taped his boss flinging himself around, yelling at the videographer to help get the bugs off. sprite and sersi’s giggles filled your ears as you smiled in amusement. ikaris, however, told everyone to get a move on, his expression that of stone.
the laughs died down afterward, and everyone returned to finding the supposed village where druig lived, which happened to be smack dab in the middle of the amazon forest. the journey to where you were right now had not been a pleasant one, and you didn’t know how much you would miss running water and air conditioning until you stepped out of kingo’s private jet.
as the seven, well, eight of you, including karun, traveled deeper into the forest, you suddenly got the feeling of being followed, your stomach dropping and ears perking for any noise that wasn’t mother nature or someone you were traveling with.
stopping in your tracks, thena halted a few feet ahead of you, looking at you over her shoulder. “what’s wrong?”
her question made other people stop where they were, their attention turning to you.
“it’s nothing, i’m being paranoid,” you insisted, realizing that your subconscious was probably just trying to avoid anything to do with druig.
“no, what’s wrong?” gilgamesh asked, taking a step in your direction, stealing a glance at thena as he did.
hesitating, you said, “i feel like we’re being followed.” as the others exchanged glances you rushed to assure them that it was most likely nothing but your mind and body playing tricks on you. “it’s fine, though. i guess i’m just nervous to confront druig after so long.”
“remind me again why i have to do this every day for three weeks?” you whined to druig, kicking at the rocks that littered the sandstone path. “it’s only the second day and it’s just as boring as it was yesterday. you could’ve asked for anything else and you chose this.” you waved your arms in the air for emphasis.
druig chuckled at your clear boredom. “you wanted that book back, remember? and besides, i could use a little company on my walks.”
“who would’ve thought the ‘great druig’ ever got lonely,” you scoffed, finding what he had just told you hard to believe.
“it’s true!” druig exclaimed, shooting you a quick smile as he spoke. “plus, it’s nice to have someone to talk to, even if they are complaining the entire time.” a pointed look came your way.
“fine, fine. i will try to enjoy this,” you said, looking around as the sun started to peek over the tall buildings, basking the city in the morning light.
the rest of the walk into the marketplace was filled with arm-brushes and small talk, mostly druig teasing you about anything and everything. you started to enjoy his presence (more than you already had) and noticed how much you smiled around him, your stomach doing flips every time he flashed you a grin or even just said your name, liking the way it rolled off his tongue.
“oh this is absolutely beautiful,” you sighed, hand reaching out to touch the silver pendant that was hanging from a vendor’s stall. the woman who ran the stall was busy helping someone else, trying to sell a woven bracelet made from horse hair to a gruff-looking man.
druig smiled at the way your eyes lit up. “then get it. silver looks beautiful on your skin tone.”
“ i don’t know,” you said, retracting your hand from the necklace. “ajak said to stop spending my money on things i’d just lose the next day.”
“well, if you’re not going to buy it, then will you go grab us something to eat? i missed breakfast this morning,” druig asked, watching as you nodded and walked off in the direction of the food stalls.
as soon as he couldn’t see you anymore, druig reached for the pendant, taking it from its display station. he turned to the seller, watching as she happily told the man she had been talking to earlier to come back soon, and approached him with a smile.
“hello, i apologize for the wait, sir,” the sales-woman compensated, taking the piece of jewelry from his hands. “will this be all?”
druig nodded, and he quickly paid for the pendant, not wanting you to come back while he was purchasing the silver relic. after he had finished, parting ways with the sweet vendor, he went off looking for you, the necklace laced through a loop attached to his suit.
he found your back turned to him, chatting with a vendor as they handed you two skewers of grilled maize with a kind face.
“thank you so much,” he heard you say before he braced a hand on each of your shoulders, pulling you back just enough for him to get his head over your left shoulder, startling you.
“there you are, my dear,” druig mused as the faltered smile on your face returned back to its original one. “i got you something.”
“i actually got you something too, per request,” you said, following your companion to an open space. “i hope you like maize because it was the only option they had.”
as you went to hand him one of the two skewers you had purchased, he held up a hand. “hold on, i want to give you yours first.”
“oh,” you said simply. “alright. but what do i do about the food in my hands?”
druig laughed at your question. “just hold it, darling. and close your eyes too.”
giving him a skeptical look, you hesitantly shut your lids. “this is making me nervous, druig, i don’t like it.”
“calm down,” he assured with a smile you couldn’t see, stepping behind you and unclasping the necklace before reaching his arms around the base of your neck. you jumped at the foreign feeling, groaning when druig laughed.
“what are you doing to me?” you questioned, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. druig stayed quiet, and let the pendant rest against your chest as he clasped it around your neck, grinning as you let out an, “oh.”
“you can open your eyes now,” he told you, watching as you turned to face him, looking down at the new piece of jewelry on your neck. his mouth started to turn downwards when you didn’t react immediately. “what’s wrong? do you not like it?”
“no, no, it’s not that,” you promised, looking back up at him. “it’s just that...no one’s ever done anything like this for me. druig, thank you, i love it.”
nodding, druig smiled again. “good, i’m glad you like it. now,” he reached out and took one of the skewers from you, “i can take that.”
“still be on guard, though,” ikaris warned, scanning the trees around you all before continuing any further. in silence, you all followed him, everyone’s eyes on the forest.
not much longer, sprite pointed out a roof up ahead, and soon, later, you all stepped into a small village. the one that belonged to druig, you weren’t exactly sure.
the eight of you all started to look around, karun filming while kingo narrated and pointed at the buildings. you, though, walked up to a pair of children playing with straw-made dolls, gaining their attention to ask a few questions.
when the little girl on the right looked up at you, a joyful smile splaying on her lips, the easing expression on your face dropped as you stared at familiar gold eyes.
he’s here, you realized instantly, your throat starting to close up. walking backward, you looked around you, at the same pair of eyes that everyone in the village shared. what threw you off, even more than you already were, was that they were all staring at the strangers in their home, or, more specifically, you.
“oh, fuck me,” you cursed under your breath, flinching when a set of pale-colored doors opened to your left, revealing the person you really had no intention of seeing again before this whole fiasco started.
walking out with a smug smile, druig locked eyes with you. “well look who finally decided to come visit.”
too dumbfounded to speak, you heard someone cough on your right when only stillness remained in the air. realizing it was sprite, you felt her nudge your shoulder, silently urging you to say something.
“we, uh, we need your help,” you managed to say, standing a little straighter. the awkwardness in the air felt absolutely suffocating.
“you’re gonna have to make me,” druig challenged, looking up at ikaris, daring the taller male to make a move on him.
beside phastos, you watched in horror at what was happening. with the screams and shouts and gunshots, you couldn’t tell if you were more scared of the genocide happening around you or the threats exchanged within your family.
you understood why druig wanted to end the wars and issues between the humans, but you also knew that they needed to sort it out on their own. after all, you were just sent here to protect them from the deviants, not assist them in their relationships with each other.
ikaris took a step back from druig with a scoff, looking back at ajak, hoping she would somehow handle the situation.
“i’m ending this,” you heard druig say to no one in particular, stepping up to the edge of the temple, eyes already burning a bright gold. you didn’t have to see the swords and other weapons drop to know that they did.
as druig started to descend down the steps, you called out to him, rushing to where he had once been. he looked back up at you, eyes no longer the blue you had come to adore over centuries together.
“don’t go,” you pleaded, not knowing what else to say to get him to stay. you knew you couldn’t follow him to wherever he was going, not wanting to interfere with human affairs. it felt wrong, no matter how much you hated to see it. you’d grown accustomed to ignoring the human problems, and you wondered why druig hadn’t.
he extended a hand. “come with me.”
tears started to stream down your cheeks as you shook your head, taking a step back. you couldn’t just abandon your family.
“come with me,” druig repeated, the words strained. he reached out his hand further, silently begging you to take it. when you only shook your head again, he let his arm fall back to his side. he opened his mouth to speak when you cut him off.
“don’t even think about trying to control me druig, or, i swear it, there will be nothing but hatred for you in my heart,” you practically seethed, stomping out the option entirely. you continued to stare at him, not sure whether you should be angry or sad and awaiting his next move.
he reached out once more, but only to touch the silver pendant hanging at your neck, his luminous eyes flickering from it to your face before he turned away and started to descend down the steps once more. you watched him with longing eyes, leaning against the stone pillar beside you.
a choked sob escaped your lips as you grasped the pendant, ripping it from your throat and tossing it on the blood-stained floor.
“i’m sorry, you expect me to just drop everything and come help you put a celestial being to sleep?” druig scoffed, shaking his head at the absurdity of ikaris’ request.
sersi sighed, standing from her spot on a wooden bench. “look, i know it seems difficult, but it can be done.”
“oh, i’m aware it can be done, but you can’t just drop on a person that their entire existence is a lie and that they need to help protect a place they’ve been wanting to leave for so long,” druig said, eyebrows raised.
from your spot in the back, resting against the wall and propping a leg up on the bench, you watched intently as everything unfolded. after you had said the first words to him, you intended to say no more. you wanted to avoid directly speaking to druig for as long as you possibly could. you didn’t want him toying with your feelings again; you didn’t know if you could handle it a second time.
“and what about you?” the sudden question pointed your way snapped you back into reality, head whipping in the direction the voice had come from. you slouched back against the wall when you realized it was druig, trying your best to look disinterested.
“what about me?” you asked, feeling everyone’s eyes on you both. damn this whole situation, you thought as druig grew closer, his footsteps growing louder as he walked.
he looked you up and down, trying to decipher what had changed. obviously, you still looked similar, but there was also something else. possibly the way you held yourself, or even the tight-fitting pants and camisole you wore, exposing more skin than you ever would have the last time he saw you. he also noted the way your fingers played with the necklace that rested against your collarbone. it was a habit of yours when you grew nervous or unsure. and to say that he didn’t immediately recognize the pendant would have been a lie.
“you’re really okay going against a full-blown celestial?” druig asked, eyes locked with yours as he placed his hands in his pockets.
the question made you stand from your spot defensively, and as you stepped up to druig, the air in the room shifted. “yes, i would. and i had already told the others along the way here that you probably wouldn’t help us, that you couldn’t care less about the people on this planet unless they were under your control. it seems i may have been right; some people don’t change, even after a few decades holed up in some hideaway village, pretending to be in a utopia.”
the words spilled from your lips quicker than you would have liked, and, when you finished, the smirk on the eternal’s face was gone.
“you’re insufferable, druig,” you seethed, turning on your heel and making a beeline for the door, your face still twisted in anger.
ikaris stepped in front of the door, placing an open palm on your shoulder in an attempt to stop you. “we have things we need to discuss-”
“then discuss them without me,” you snapped, pushing his hand off and walking outside, back into the muggy air. as the door shut, the villagers nearest to the church stopped and watched you go into the forest, their yellow eyes glowing. you ignored them, walking further and further, cursing druig and all that he had put you through.
after you had decided you’d gone far enough, you sat down on a large tree root, threading your fingers through your hair in frustration. the sounds of the forest - the rustle of the trees, birds chirping, etc. - calmed you down as you focused solely on them, head swarming with thoughts of druig and arishem and the emergence.
the snap of a twig behind you made you jump to your feet, summoning your power as you fixed into a defensive stance. you scoffed when you were faced with druig. his change of attire didn’t go unnoticed by you. figuring he must’ve grown too hot in the long-sleeve he had on previously, he was sporting a light grey shirt with cut-off sleeves, strong arms on display.
“how did you find me?” you asked harshly, standing a little straighter in his presence.
“my love, i don’t think you mean it, but your thoughts are very loud,” he said as you turned your back to him and sat down again.
his footsteps grew closer and you shook your head at his words. “stop it. stop with the pet names and the sweet words, druig.” he sat down next to you, leaving a few inches between your thighs. “don’t talk to me like we’re a couple and you’re madly in love with me. we haven’t seen each other in centuries, druig, and the last time we did you left me heartbroken atop an aztec temple. so, stop it.”
the silence that followed afterward hung heavy in the air as druig let your words sink in. he could hear your thoughts; the violently bitter ones replaced by words of instant regret and worry.
“please,” you whispered, fiddling with your necklace yet again, finally looking over at druig. “don’t flirt with me if you don’t intend to actually do something with it.”
the wind rustled your hair as you stared at the forest floor once again, willing you to keep all the pent-up frustration at bay; the last thing you wanted was for druig to see you start crying. clasping your hands together you said, “aren’t you going to say anything? i know you didn’t just walk out here to sit by me and bite your tongue.”
“you’re right, i didn’t,” druig said, rotating himself so he had a better view of you. “i came out here to, essentially, tell you that i do love you, that i do want a relationship, and that, a couple of centuries ago, i was too scared to admit that to myself so i left, hoping the feelings would trample themselves out with time.
“but they didn’t,” he went on, his accent thick as he spoke. “as i spent my time alone, in solitude, away from the rest of the world, i realized how much i had come to love and cherish you. i had, unbeknownst to my consciousness, become dependant on you. i revolted at the idea, until today, when i could hear, feel, you enter my village, my space. i could sense the uncertainty in you when your eyes landed on me after so long...and when i saw you, i think i fell in love all over again.” a short pause. “in the end, i always knew my feelings were inevitable.”
you blinked at druig’s words, astounded at what he had said, at what he had just confessed to you. this side of him was new; his vulnerability made you cautious. “why didn’t you ever come looking for me if you felt this way?”
“because i was afraid you would turn me away,” druig answered honestly, the yearning clear in his eyes as he looked at you. “after what i did that night...i would understand if you told me to fuck off and never even look your way again-”
“no, that’s out of the question,” you interrupted, shaking your head at him. “druig, i still harbor feelings for you; hell, i don’t think they ever left, hence the reason i still wear this god-forsaken pendant. you can have me, druig. i will gladly call you mine, but if you break my heart again, there will be no third time.”
you took his hand in yours, lacing your fingers together as you talked to him truthfully.
druig’s eyes flashed from you to your locked hands. “and i am okay with that.” the tug of a smile on his lips. “i will try not to be too mean in our time together.”
you felt the same pull on the corners of your mouth at his attempt to ease things over. giving his hand a squeeze, you said, “good. because although i tend to like bad boys, they at least have to have a soft spot for me.”
“oh?” druig’s eyebrows rose. “you like them in all black and clad in a leather jacket?”
pretending to give some thought to it, you nodded. “yes! preferably with some muscle too. not too much or too little, though.”
druig scoffed, standing from his spot as he shook his head in fake disbelief. “alright i’m done with this conversation.”
as his hand started to slip from yours, you tugged him forward, using his body weight to pull yourself up. “wait! i’ll come back with you.”
adjusting your hand in druig’s, you stepped over the root you both had been sitting on previously, leading the mind-controlling male back to the village center. as you walked back the way you had come, the sudden stillness from earlier filled the air. the birds and bugs had gone silent, and the wind settled between the trees.
druig halted, forcing you to do the same, his eyes glowing as you summoned your own power for the second time that day. “what is it?”
“i don’t know, everything’s normal at the village, something must have-” a shrilling cry sliced through the air, cutting druig off as a crash echoed in the distance.

One Mind-Twelve
Tumblr media
Pairings: Druig x Eternal!Reader
Warnings: angst, fluff, swears, and maybe some smut here and there.
Summary: For so long, the Eternals were on their own. That was until a Celestial event brought them all back together. Reader is reluctant to help because in order to do what her fellow Eternals are saying, she would have to connect with a century old love; one that she promised herself that she would never work with again.
A/N: This chapter contains smut! First time writing Druig smut so let's hope I can do it justice. Also, there are only two chapters left!

The once hot water had started to become lukewarm as time passed by slowly and I allowed myself the hush of that time to gather my thoughts on everything that happened.
We stopped the emergence but lost Ajak and Gilgamesh in the process. Ikaris flew towards the sun because he couldn’t deal with the thought of what he had done to us. Sersi, while still having the energy from the Uni-Mind, gave Sprite something she’s always wanted; to become human.
Sersi also healed my wounds which Druig was very thankful for.
“I’m tired of always sitchin ya up.”
That had been a few days ago and now we were seeking solace in Ajak’s old home. Phastos offered to stay until the Domo was fixed but the second it was, he was returning back to his family.
Sersi, Kingo, and Sprite all went back to their own lives while Thena, Makkari, Druig and I stayed.
But I knew that Druig had been wondering if I planned on staying with him or heading back to my life in New York.
There was a soft knock to the bathroom door, and I called out a soft ‘come in.’
Druig’s gave me a warm smile. “Are you alright? You’ve been in here quite a while.”
I had my arms wrapped around my knees and pulled close to my chest. My hair had begun to dry, that’s how long I had been in the bathtub.
“Yeah, just thinking.”
“Do you need me to get you anything?” Druig asked.
I simply extended my hand towards him, and he took it immediately, locking the door behind him.
“Are you sure?” He hesitated for a second.
I nodded. “I just need you close to me.”
As Druig undressed, I moved myself up towards the middle of the bathtub so he could sink in behind me. Large arms pulled me towards him, his warm chest pressing against my back. The tub wasn’t a large one so he had to raise his knees up while I had my legs stretched out, his fingers running up and down them.
Even more time had passed, the water now ice cold, but it didn’t bother us. As long as we were together, that’s the only thing that mattered.
“Anything you want to talk about?”
Druig’s lips pressed a soft kiss to my shoulder.
“What’s going to happen now?” I asked, leaning my head against his shoulder and looking up towards him.
He let out a deep sigh. “Thena and Makkari want to look for the other Eternals to warn them about the Emergences.”
“What about you?” I asked.
He brought my left hand up to his lips, kissing the ring. “I’m following you wherever you go.”
I kissed underneath his chin. “I’m with you till the very end, remember?”
We shared a deep but quick kiss. “Looks like we’re traveling to space.”
I kissed him once again, this time taking my time and deepening it by wrapping my hand behind his neck, bringing him down closer. Our tongues brushed against each other and I moaned into his mouth when Druig’s fingers brushed over my sensitive folds.
“I need you, sweetheart. Please,” he begged against my lips.
His cock that was pressed up against my back throbbed with his pleads.
The water sloshed around us as I raised myself onto his lap, pulling him towards me with his large shoulders.
“I’m all yours, Druig.”
Once he gained permission, his arms wrapped around my waist and lifted us both out of the tub.
“What about the others?” I asked.
He shook his head. “They're down by the lake, we’ve got the place to ourselves for a while.”
Not wanting to waste any time, I attacked his lips once more and felt him carry me effortlessly to the room we had been sharing together. With a quick thought of the bedroom door, the lock echoed throughout the room.
My body fell onto the bed with a soft drop and that was the first time my eyes drank in Druig’s bare form as he stood in front of me.
The muscles in his stomach tensed while the tip of his cock twitched with anticipation while he looked at me hungrily.
This was the first time that we would lay together since before I left and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous.
Druig crawled his way up my body by leaving kisses on almost every inch of skin. His warm breath fanned over my core and I raised my hips up towards his lips.
“Tell me what you want,” he demanded with a gruff voice.
“Dru,” I whined.
It had been so long and my entire body felt on fire with want. The last thing I wanted was for him to take his time.
His fingers pinched down on my nipple and I moaned out in pleasure.
“I need your tongue, Druig. Please.”
Druig, not wanting to keep me waiting anymore, began licking up the length of my folds and I gripped at his hair. With a pointed tongue, he pressed into my sensitive nub, massaging it, while slipping one finger into me, pumping it so tenderly.
A breathy moan fell from my lips. “I’m not going to last long if you keep that up.”
Druig hummed into me and my head fell back with pleasure at the feeling. With his free hand, he grabbed at my nipple once again only this time rubbing it between his thumb and finger.
He remembered every inch of my body, all of the things I liked and needed to chase my orgasm.
Blood rushed to my core and I panted his name a few times. “M’ close.”
“Let go, love. I’ve got you,” his mouth left between my legs for a split second before devouring me again.
His words were what sent shockwaves throughout my body, rising from the bed before his hands were placed on my stomach to keep me in place. I tightened my legs around his head to ride out the rest of my release while he lapped up my juices.
Once the bright light dissipated, I only had a few seconds to catch my breath before Druig’s lips were on mine, forcing me to taste myself on his tongue.
I moaned while wrapping my legs around his waist, the tip of his cock pressing lightly against my pussy. His precum dripped down my lips and I clawed at his back, needing to feel him; all of him.
“Druig, please.”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’m not going to waste any time tonight,” he promised.
Our eyes locked and for a brief second, the lust had evaporated and we stared at each other with affection. My old life in New York may have been no more but none of that mattered because I was always home whenever I looked into Druig’s eyes.
He could have turned his back on me when I asked for his help back in the Amazon or even after our fight but he didn’t. He forgave me for leaving when I expected him to get angry and scream. But he didn’t.
“I love you,” I mused.
“I love you, too. Till the end.”
With that, Druig buried his cock into my walls and we both screamed out our groans of pleasure, the once familiar feeling wrecking our bodies. I squeezed against him, swallowing his length in warmth and our hips began to move in sync.
His fingers wrapped around my neck while his thumb forced my jaw up towards him.
“I love you.”
I internally smiled at the voice in my mind and pressed my lips to his in a passionate kiss in a way to say it back.
Druig would pull his cock out, only keeping the head in, before slamming his hips against mine, a loud moan echoing through the house. He continued this a few times, the bed began moving along the wood floors and the headboard slammed against the wall with every snap of his hips.
I went to slip a finger between us but he slapped my hand away, a growl of arousal slipped through his lips.
“Mine.”
The pad of his thumb pressed against my bundle of nerves and with the fast and relentless pace he had chosen now, I felt the coil deep in my stomach begin to tense, my second orgasm so close.
Druig knew it as well, my body ques becoming second nature to him.
“Not yet. Wait for me,” he demanded.
I whined in displeasure. “I can’t. I’m going to cum.”
Our bodies slammed against each other, skin slapping against skin, and the wet noises that came from the place we were connected were so filthy that I was ready to let my body go, walls tensing around Druig’s cock.
“Fuck, sweetheart. I’m going to cum too,” he moaned.
He lifted his forehead from my chest and forced our gazes to lock again, my arm wrapped around his shoulder to bring him closer, thumb rubbing circles on his bicep. His eyes took in every inch of my face, burning the way I gasped silently when I felt the tip of his cock hit that spot. Druig removed his bottom lip from the tight grip between his teeth as he let out a deep but quiet moan, spilling his release into me, coating my walls.
I screamed out his name with my own release and bit at the skin of his neck, trying to keep my voice quiet, in case someone had returned.
“Marry me again.”
My eyes snapped open at the voice inside my head when I came down from my high.
“What?”
Druig grasped my face and placed a tender kiss on my lips. “Marry me, again.”
“But I thought we were already,” my breath was still uneven and erratic.
We didn’t make a move to release ourselves from one another, Druig holding tightly onto the warmth I provided him.
“I know,” he nodded. “But with our time apart, it only feels right to do it again.”
I broke out into a huge smile and pressed my chest into his as I kissed him, a silent way of telling him I accepted his offer.

Thena is at a tournament and the club decides to fly Gil there to just to keep an eye on Olympia in case she runs away again. Towards the end Thena spots him among the crowd
For the dressage one please 🖤🖤🖤🖤💖
Thena accepted the bouquet, waving to the crowd. It was just a formality, and one she did not enjoy. Winning competitions was why the club kept her, but she was never good at the publicity aspect of her job.
The pictures were being snapped loudly, camera flashes bombarding her eyes on the already blindingly sunny day. She tried not to squint though, having been told by Ajak and Sersi not to.
A hand waved at her from the crowd. It was one of many, but this one actually mattered.
Thena beamed, waving back a little more enthusiastically. She knew he would come.
Well, she hadn't exactly phrased it as a question when she had mentioned this particular tournament requiring travel. And she wanted him there to care for Olympia, since returning victors were allowed to bring in outside help for their horses.
Gil had readily agreed, even offered to pay for his flight, which she had assured him was not necessary. He was doing her a favour, and it would count as overtime for his work, too. And, perhaps, in the deepest recesses of her mind, it felt reassuring to have someone there who she actually knew.
She wouldn't say she was nervous for a competition ever, but the solitude could be stifling at times when it was just her and equestrian reporters and photographers. And they didn't even allow the horses to roam free while they were there!
"Thena, as the returning champion, what was your preparation for this tournament like?"
She did her best not to seem like she was scowling at the microphone shoved in her face. She also had to resist the urge to state that her method was the same for this tournament as all the others; train and aim to win.
"Olympia and I trained for the highest jumps possible," she answered carefully, remembering the media training she had received. "She's cared for exceedingly well at the club, so I'm lucky to have such a reliable partner when I'm out there."
Other riders never credited their horses properly, and it always pissed her off.
"The club must have top of the line care!"
She looked out at the stands again before leaning down to the microphone. "It's not the club. It's Gilgamesh--he works for the club, but he's the best at what he does, no matter where he is. He's the only one I entrust with my horse's care."
She could practically see him now, blushing and waving off her compliments with a modest smile.
Reporters scribbled down his name. Perhaps he would finally get even a shred of the recognition he deserved.
"Do you have any well wishes for your fellow competitors in other tournaments, Ikaris and Eros?"
"No." The crowd laughed, and she never knew why they did that. She wasn't joking. But it might get her out of here sooner.
"So, who's here with you today?"
She shifted the awkward bouquet in her arms again. The lights were becoming too much to bear. "No one."
"Don't you have a personal jockey to assist in tournaments?"
"No," she shook her head, starting to look around. She was hoping to get a glimpse of Gil again but there were too many cameras and microphones in the way. "I brought care of Olympia, but-"
"You registered yourself and a guest, it was assumed-"
"I think that's all the time I have," she smiled, attempting to be polite about needing out of the hornet's nest right that second. She clutched the flowers tighter. She didn't care if they got squished.
"Thena, wait!"
She left the winner's circle, attempting to navigate the flock by herself. She didn't remember the crowd for the last tournament being quite so claustrophobic.
"If you'll excuse us, Olympia needs tending to."
A firm but gentle hand reached in and pulled her out by the arm. She stumbled faintly but Gil made their way back to where Olympia was indeed waiting for them. She smiled, "you're a life saver."
"I get the feeling the media isn't really your thing," he chuckled, turning just so he could walk beside her outside the thickest part of the crowd. He even took the flowers for her, careful not to crush them (the way she had). "Congratulations, by the way."
"Thanks," she smiled, finally able to breathe easier now that she was walking with him. it almost felt like any other day when she could see him at the club. "And thank you, Gil, for being here."
"I'm happy to," he shrugged at her. "And seeing you compete was pretty impressive. I can see why they call you the Goddess of War."
Thena rolled her eyes, attempting to downplay the warmth building in her cheeks, "oh, stop. It's a silly nickname."
"It's a title," he corrected her with a chuckle. He opened the gate to Olympia's stall, letting her in first. "What do you think, girl?"
Olympia whinnied loudly, still full of adrenaline from their event. Her tail swished and flicked, although the braids in it for show were holding up well.
"Were you good for Gil?" Thena asked her trusty partner, whose nose bobbed excitedly in her hold. "I should hope so. Neither of us needs the embarrassment of you running off again."
Olympia's ear twitched. She didn't need to be reminded of that.
"That's what I thought," Thena murmured, although she ran her hand down Olympia's nose lovingly. Her other hand patted the laurel of flowers hung around the poor creature's neck as well. "Shall we get this off you?"
Gil did the honours, and Olympia obediently lowered her head to let him. The tournament assistants who had placed it on her had not gotten away with it so smoothly, getting nipped at by her at the time. But Gil patted her cheek, "that's better, huh? Roses aren't really your thing."
If she could, the mare would surely be rolling her eyes just like her rider.
"It's just tonight," Thena promised her, still holding her head and smoothing down her fur as Gil brushed her properly, if briefly. "We'll head home as soon as we can tomorrow."
Olympia huffed, but nudged Thena's whole upper body with her massive head. She, too, was ready to go home after all the excitement.
"Don't worry girl, I've got your dinner all prepped," Gil added, much to her delight. He chuckled as her ears perked and swivelled. "And I swiped some apples from the hotel breakfast for you."
Thena laughed faintly as well as he pulled two golden apples out of his jacket pockets. "Gil, the breakfast is free, you hardly needed to smuggle them here."
"Well, I didn't know how they felt about outside food here," he admitted, even glancing around them nervously. "But I wanted her to have a nice treat after all her hard work."
"No one would say anything to you, surely," she murmured, also looking around them. No one had better dare to say anything to him, rather. Or they would have her exchanging some words for which the club would definitely have to issue a formal apology.
"I'll come back after dinner," Gil promised as he patted Olympia's nose, moving alongside Thena to take their leave. "Bring her some oat cakes to make up for all the carbs she's burned."
Thena shook her head. The previous caretakers at the club could barely be argued into attending to Olympia just before they left club grounds right as dinner was served. Gil's devotion to going above and beyond for her horse never ceased to amaze her. "Heracles will be jealous you spoiled her like this."
"Well, that little shit can get spoiled too if he learns to behave."
Thena laughed, following Gil out of the stable. "They're holding a dinner for the victors, are you coming?"
"Oh," he blushed, squeezing her roses faintly, "I-I was just gonna get the hotel buffet again-"
"Nonsense," Thena discouraged. She pulled at her hair to release it from its painfully tight bun. "I invited you here, the least I can do is see to it that you get a proper meal out of it."
She didn't have to request he come with her. But in truth, she had wanted a familiar face when she was facing one of the biggest tournaments of her career. She had wanted his smile, and his familiar face, and his wave to be here.
The least she could do was take him to dinner.

What are the Sersi thoughts????
LKAJDLFKJALDSF I rewatched the movie today so I'm still a jumble of thoughts. I have several on rotation right now.
So I do have issues with how her leadership arc played out. But what it DID do was good. You know. Like from the first moment the Eternals touch down on earth, Sersi is set up as the eventual leader. She's the one to first make contact with them. She's the one who sets them up for not just being protectors of humanity, but one of them, which is so important for the story (which the others mostly aren't, which I've talked about before). So of course Ajak is going to choose her as their leader once she's gone. (Wish we knew if Ajak decided this after Ikaris betrayed her or before. But I'd like to think before.)
But Sersi has all of these smaller leadership moments too. She's the one in front when they get to Ajak's house, she's the one who stays with Ajak's body for however long. She doesn't get much interaction with Kingo or Makkari (RIP) but she does with every other Eternal they have to go to. She's the first to notice Thena is acting strange in the flashback, and isn't afraid of her afterwards. She talks with Gilgamesh and takes advice from him (this is directly after we see Ajak tell off Ikaris for suggesting something, telling him not to forget his place, too!). When they're all arguing over what to do about the reveal of their origins and the celestials, Sersi is the one who makes the decision for them! They're not going to let everyone on earth die! And then when they go to get Druig on board, Sersi is the one he's addressing first and foremost. And she's the one he listens to when she tells him to stop controlling the villagers - telling him he's better than this, and he listens to her. which, again, is in contrast to previous scenes, where Druig is treated mostly with pity (Ajak) annoyance (Kingo) or threats (Ikaris) (deserved tbh but not the point). and, once again showing how different she is from Ajak, Sersi listens to Druig's points about humanity and the deviants. And she llstens again when Phastos is telling her about his family, and when they leave she provides him comfort (ANOTHER PARELLEL TO AJAK, COMFORTING PHASTOS IN THE FLASHBACK-)
Sersi doesn't get to really show off being their new leader, sadly. she doesn't get a moment where they all just listen to her, where she is clearly in command of the group and they respect her as such. but she's clearly the center of them, the heart of the group, and she's doing all of these little things that show it. she comforts them. she listens to them. she respects them! she's doing a lot of what Ajak was shown doing, but unlike with Ajak, she 1) doesn't have a lot of control or command over them, but more importantly 2) she hasn't set herself apart from them. she's still one of them. her leadership is (and will, hopefully, in the sequel become more obviously so) the kind of leadership that is just calm. they are all on the same footing here. they follow her, but she doesn't command them. her kindness and compassion isn't at war with having to remain in control of them and the mission, like it was with Ajak.
again, Sersi's leadership arc isn't perfect, and tbh that's the fault of the movie having too much going on for any of them to get a fully fleshed arc rip (SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SHOW) but. I do like what it DID do. it's there in-between the lines.

So it’s been a week since I’ve posted my Khonshu/Marc/Steven x Eternal!Reader idea (seen here), and my mind has been wandering, crafting scenarios surrounding this idea. And I thought, why not share? Especially since a lot of people seem to like this idea.
I would like to note once again that these ideas are free for anyone to write about, I’m not planning on writing anything about this (at the moment at least), so if anyone wants to write a Moon Knight fanfic involving an Eternal!Reader, go ahead! I highly encourage it!
Moving on to my additional thoughts:
So after the reader reveals herself to Marc/Steven (how does Jake factor into this I’m just realizing?) after the deviant attack, and when she reveals her purpose for being on Earth and her past relationship with Khonshu, how would the Moon boys react?
I’d imagine they’d both be angry, Marc more so than Steven (at least in my mind). They’d question whether or not their relationship with the reader was genuine, or if they were just being used as a means to see Khonshu? And there’s the fact that she isn’t from Earth, and that she’s a being more than 7,000 years old sent by some cosmic power to protect humanity and helped shape the history of the planet, while at the same time not interfering with the atrocities committed by humans. So I’d imagine they’d be quite angry with the reader. She of course tries to explain this to them, but a fight breaks out (the Moon boys aren’t as understanding as Dane), and harsh words are thrown at the reader (by Marc, Steven is mostly quiet).
And then she has to go.
“Marc, Steven, I need to take care of this.”
Marc laughs humorlessly. “Of course you do.”
“Marc-” she sighs.
“No, you know what? Go. Take care of your ‘mission’, or whatever the hell it is that you were sent here to do, and leave.”
“……I’ll let you know when I’m done.”
“No, do both me and Steven a favor and never talk to us again.”
So the reader goes with Sersi, Sprite, and Ikaris to find the others. And as they progress along, she calls them when she can (they never pick up the phone) and leaves messages telling them about her journey.
“Hey, just landed in the States. We’re headed to Ajak’s place, I’ll call you when we get to her house.”
“Hey, um, so we got to Ajak’s. She……got attacked by a deviant and is…………Anyway, we’re flying back out again, probably going to find Kingo. Let me know if you get this, we’re in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m not getting any service.”
“So, I’m realizing that you’re both probably ignoring me. Which is totally fair, believe me. I should’ve told you guys the truth from the start, and I regret not doing that. But regardless, I’m going to keep sending you updates. Though you’re most likely not going to listen to them anyway. We’re heading to Australia to get Gilgamesh and Thena. I’ll be sure to update you on our progress soon…….I miss you, both of you.”
“Hey, sorry I haven’t called in a bit, things have been…..hectic. A lot of bombshells have been dropped and things just got much more complicated. I don’t want to bore you with the details, I’ll uh….tell you both all about it when I come back. Hey uh, when’s the last time you called you’re dad?”
“Screw the theatrics, I don’t even know if you’re even going to get this. We’re in the middle of the god damn Amazon, because Druig thought it would be a grand fucking idea to place his cult here of all places. He’s a stubborn bastard, but if we’re gonna pull this off we need him. I meant it earlier when I said you should talk to your dad, you uh, never know when he’ll kick the bucket, so to speak. I miss you guys, I wish I could talk-”
“We were attacked by deviants, Gilgamesh is dead……..he died protecting Thena. I’ve lost two of my family members in the span of a few days, and my friend is giving me the silent treatment. Are we even friends anymore? I know you said not to talk to you guys again, but frankly, I don’t know what I would do without you two.”
“……..I think this might be the last time I call you. I get it, I’ll stop contacting you. I just……I guess I was hoping that we could put this behind us and move on. But that’s obviously not gonna happen, is it? And frankly, I don’t blame you guys for ignoring me, you both have every right to hate and despise me. Just……yeah. Have a good life you two.”
“I know I said you wouldn’t hear from me ever again, but I just have to say this before the world is inevitably blown apart by a newborn celestial. I love you both, so so much. I just wish I got to tell you that in person, and not over the phone when I’m heading towards a live volcano to put a celestial to sleep. Regardless, I just wanted to let you two know. I’ll see you when this is all over, that is if you even want to see me. And if we don’t fail, and Ikaris doesn’t kill us. I probably should’ve mentioned that previously-”
It’s past 5am when I’m writing this, and I’m shit at writing dialogue (especially about feelings), but I just wanted to get this out before I fell asleep. If some of what I’ve described isn’t coherent, let me know, and I’ll discuss it further in length when I’ve gotten some shuteye 😂
I also wanted to add this kicker. I’d imagine it’s when Marc/Steven try to call the reader after (finally) hearing all the messages she left (it only took until they saw the Celestial emerge from the ocean on tv to hear them), only to get hit with this when they try to call her.
“We’re sorry, you have reached a number that is disconnected or that is no longer in service…..”
So…..do with that as you will 😈
Once again, anyone is free to write anything regarding what I’ve given out. As long as I get a shoutout, I’m content with anyone taking what I’ve said and writing their own story.

I was wondering if I could request either a small fic or even headcanon of Druig or Clío, Melody gets sick for the first time as a baby and one of them is kinda freaking out about it but the other is like “its fine honey, just a small head cold.” I would really like to see this with Drío please! 🥰💗
A/N: AWWWW This is beyond cute and perfect! Thank you SO much for requesting this, my dear!
Worry
Summary: Who knew the stoic and always cool mind controller would loose his mind when his infant daughter gets sick. Clío did of course.
Tumblr media
*This is a cute picture of actor Barry Keoghan (who plays Druig) with his son Brando, I HAD to use this since it looked perfect as an image of Druig and baby Melody.*
Warnings: Angst and fluff rolled into one.
Part of the Melody Series
Tumblr media
Druig never thought he would be worried.
No, petrified was a better word.
It started with sniffles and a few coughs here and there, Druig noticing it when he held her first thing in the morning. She would usually be happy to be held by her father, opening her crystal blue eyes at him and having a sense of peace on her infant face. Druig loved seeing her eyes on him the first thing in the morning, it made his day already ten times better.
But on this morning, he could see she wasn't herself. The fussiness was evident, not finding the perfect way to hold her to calm her down from the sniffles and tears as she wiggled in his hold. He saw it in her face too, contorted in uncomfortableness and uneasiness. Melody was always an easy and happy little baby, so seeing her in such a state made Druig feel petrified.
His daughter was sick, and he had no idea what to do.
"I got ya, baby girl. I got ya," Druid hummed over and over, walking back and forth along the living room floor with his daughter fussing in his arms and crying with a whimper on her lips. Clío was on the phone with the doctor, it was better to call ahead than to drive into town which seemed so far away. Druig was focusing on trying to ease his little girl, who was red in the face and wiggling so bad in his hold he was afraid he would drop her. He felt as though he was being tortured from the inside out since he didn't know what to do or how to help her. She had no temperature, they checked already when she started to fuss. But she did sound congested from how she was breathing, making Druig panic not know what to give her.
When he was back in the jungle with Clío, there were healers that were present to help anyone and everyone who got sick. Neyli, the head healer of the village for about 40 years, knew just how to ease any fevers or colds that came upon the young and old. Druig never having to lift a finger to help since she knew anything and everything when it came to natural medicine. But those were natural remedies from herbs and roots, nothing too modern unless it was intense to extreme.
Now he was here, out in the middle of nowhere, and it was his daughter who was ill.
His infant daughter.
"I know, baby. I'm so sorry, Mel. It's gonna be okay," Druig hummed to her over and over like a mantra as she was letting out a new sniffles and sneezes against his chest. He felt useless, only being able to hold her to give her some kind of comfort. She was far too young for him to do some kind of mind control, and he swore he would never do that to his child in the first place. Maybe he could cal Thena, she might know something that could help since Thena and Gilgamesh fended for themselves for some time out in rural Australia. Or maybe Sersi, she might know a thing or two about healing children since she was good with them.
If only Ajak was alive and there to help...
"Alright, I just got off the phone with Dr. Morris," Clío glided into the room over to Druig and Melody, Druig shooting his eyes to her in panic as she gave him reassuring smile and placed her hand under Melody's head and the other along his arm, "I told him what's going on with Mel and he thinks it's a head cold."
"What in the hell is a head cold?" Druig asked in worry and in a panicked tone.
"It's very common, Druig. Especially this time of year since the weather is getting colder," Clío calmly replied to him, looking down at their fussing daughter who had fat tears in her eyes, "He's going to get some antibiotics together and come here to the house within an hour,"
"An hour?!" Druig seethed, his eyes almost bulging out in shock. Clío moved instantly, framing his face in her hands to have him focus on her and her bright eyes.
"He's coming with the medicine, sweetheart," Clío reassured him soothingly, "All we can do is wait, okay? But you need to take a breath before you work yourself up. Come on and breathe for me, babe,"
Druig paused and took in a forced breath, trying to calm himself down since he was still holding his daughter within his arms. Clío kept her stare at him, taking a long breath to almost show him how to breathe. Druig tried again, this time it was a bit better and calmer as he tried to re-center himself. All he could think about was panic, panic of not knowing if this head cold was serious or mild. Panic of waiting a full hour for the doctor to come with the medicine.
Panic over his little daughter, the light of his world.
"You good?" Clío asked, seeing how Druig's shoulders were a bit relaxed and his eyes were no longer rigid. He nodded his had slowly as he looked from his wife down to Melody. She was a bit calmer too, looking between her mother and father and the fussing was dying down a bit. Almost like she was mirror what her father was doing. Druig sighed, pulling her up to kiss her head over and over and keep her close.
"You need to be calm for her, Druig," Clío reminded him as she rubbed Melody's back and rang her other hand in Druig's hair, "I know you're scared, I am too. But honey, she's going to be okay. I know she will be, but Melody needs you to be calm for her so she can feel better,"
Druig could do that, he could be calm for the sake of his child. Melody was everything to him, nothing else mattered to him than the baby he was holding close and his wife who bore the same baby. Those two were his world, and when one was in pain, he was in pain. Anything he could do for either one of them to ease their worries or pain, he would do in an instant. So if he had to be calm, if he had to hold her close for the next hour while they waited for the doctor to arrive, he would do it.
He would do anything for his daughter.
Tumblr media
"Thank you again for coming out and for the medicine, Dr. Morris,"
"Anytime! Give the antibiotics a day or two to kick in and she'll be good as new before you know it. Just give her lots of rest and let me know how she takes to the medicine. I'll call in the morning, take care!"
Clío waved as the trucked rolled away down the paved road, Dr. Morris waving his hand out the window as he went back towards the main highway. The cool air that was signaling the evening picked up. Clío sighed in relief, feeling a bit better was she walked back into the house over to the study where she knew she left Druig and Melody.
The doctor arrived within the hour, coming a bit earlier than expected with a big bag with medicine and antibiotics for his sick patient. Druig was still holding Melody, almost protectively until he had to release her over to Dr. Morris, watching with worried eyes as the doctor examined his daughter. Clío was still cool and calm, holding Druig's hand in a sense of comfort as the prognosis was in fact a common Head Cold.
Dr. Morris too was calm, even laughing as Melody sneezed and scrunched her nose at him as he gave Melody the medicine along with the antibiotics while he checked her temperature. Druig felt a wave of relief off his shoulders, hearing it from the doctor himself that Melody was going to be okay. Perhaps he too overreact a bit, hearing that plenty of babies would be sick and get over it within a day or two with the amount of rest and medicine.
Clío poked her head into the study, seeing none other than Melody and Druig. Both fast asleep with Druig leaned back against the loveseat he was in and Melody in his hold, no longer fussing or crying but at peace. She was snoring even, which showed Clío she was in a deep sleep finally for the first time all day. There was peace along Druig's face too, his hair disheveled and the bag under his eyes were evident enough to show all he went through.
But all Clío could think about was the immense love her husband had for their daughter, for the little light of his world, that he would do anything and be anything to bring her happiness and safety. She never saw him scared to that caliber before, and it showed in his love for her and how he wished to take those woes away.
She took a picture on her phone of her husband and daughter asleep, sending it to the group chat and getting some responses moments later:
Phastos: Damn, someone had a rough night.
Clío: We got a sick little one on our hands, and a worried daddy too :)
Sersi: Oh no! Is Melody alright?
Makkari: What happened?!
Thena: How sick is Mel, Clío?
Clío: It's just a head cold, guys. She's okay now. The doctor gave her medicine and she'll be well before we know it. Her dad, however, is another story.
Kingo: Druig looks like hell.
Sprite: Way to be supportive, Kingo!
Kingo: I state the truth!
Sersi: I think he looks like a worried father. How is Druig holding up?
Clío paused from her texting, seeing Druig hum with a small smile on his face and a look of peace there etched along the smile. Such a small scare would bring the mind controller to his knees, to have him feel useless in caring for such a little one. But now that fear was gone, that worry dissolved in the air and all that was left was peace again. Clío grinned widely.
Clío: He's got his little girl safe and sound now. He'll be alright.
The End.

1520 CE ; Aztec Empire
Loving Druig was easy. So easy, in fact, that after a millennium, it felt like no time had passed at all. As if you had only just met yesterday. Civilizations came and went, rules and customs changing along with them. But your love for each other stayed consistent through it all, only growing in passion, lust, and vigor. Your once stolen kisses turned public as you no longer wanted to hide your affections towards each other. Your once secret affair was now a very much public one, a love that inspired the civilizations to write stories of romance.
To mere humans, a millennium was a fantasy, something that brought about stories of a “cure” for mortality. You were aware of the tremendous luck you had to have known your lover for so long; to have eternity with him. Throughout time, you were made constantly aware as friends you made discovered love for themselves, only to pass what felt like moments later. Every time Druig would hold you close, knowing your affections for the humans surpassed anything he ever felt.
But within that same millennium where your love with Druig grew, your tense relationship with the eternals only deteriorated. Thena’s visions worsened, causing sporadic attacks from her which you easily defended yourself against. Druig always ended it though, flooding Thena’s mind with a peaceful lullaby he found to be successful. One of the more recent times, Druig had slipped into Thena’s mind, only to hear the same whispers that once plagued your mind, afflicting hers. He brought it to Ajak’s attention who just brushed it off. This infuriated him, but he kept quiet, thinking Ajak had a reason to keep it discrete.
So he vowed to always make sure he was there to help Thena come back to herself. Only a small part of him did it to protect you- he knew you could take her on your own now without help. His main reason was to protect Thena- not wanting her to ever feel like you once felt- especially knowing he was the only one that could stop it. That guilt would have been too much for him to handle, and he knew Thena was always grateful for his interference- even if she didn’t directly say so- he could hear it in her mind; the whispered ‘thank you’s’ in her own voice.
By this point, the eternals hadn’t seen a deviant in centuries and had started to turn their attention to helping civilizations grow. Phastos created exquisite creations as gifts to the humans, wanting to help them progress as much as he could.
The eternals had also officially moved back into the Domo instead of residing in the villages and empires they were helping. Since they travelled so often, it just made sense. However, there was not a spare room for you since Phasto’s didn’t want to give up his second office. But you didn’t mind, you preferred to share a room with your lover anyways.
The last millennium had been alright- you became used to the distrust from the others, and while it annoyed you, you just kept to yourself, letting Druig take up every thought and feeling in your body.
——
“Phastos, give it a rest. They’re okay at the moment with what we’ve already given them,” Ajak said, placing a firm hand on Phastos’ shoulder, who merely sighed in defeat.
They were all gathered in the Domo hanging out for the day. There was little the Eternals could do, seeing as the city was at a crucial turning point: civil unrest spreading as the recent change in leadership created insecurity in the empire. Ajak’s strict rule of not interfering with their quarrels meant you were helplessly watching as they grew hungry- both literally and metaphorically- as they demanded something be done. It hurt your heart to see them like this.
“Ajak, has Arishem said anymore about what we’re supposed to be doing?” Kingo asked, watching out the window as a fiery protest went on in the city. He felt sad, useless as he just sat and watched the humans attempt to break down the gates of the empires’ palace.
“No, he has not.” She answered curtly, growing a little frustrated at the Eternals curiosity with their mission. She could sense their distrust in her and Arishem growing.
“We haven’t seen a Deviant in centuries, is our mission over?” Druig asked before biting into one of the fruits a woman in the city had given him earlier in the week.
“No, our mission is not over until he tells us it is.”
“Big shock,” Druig muttered under his breath, before getting up to go find you, tossing the apple aside.
You hadn’t joined the meeting, not wanting to create any disturbance with Thena seeing as she wasn’t having a good day. Instead, you were in your room, cuddled under the blankets, a book in your hands that one of the humans had written just for you. She had even taught you their language so that you could read it.
A soft knock was heard at the door, before Druig peeked his head in, smiling when he saw your figure under the blanket.
“What’re you doin’ in here m’lady ?” He asked, jumping in the bed next to you, his arms snaking around your waist before he rested his hand on your breast. You smirked at his cheeky actions before answering.
“I knew Thena was having a bad day, so I just came in here. Didn’t want to disturb anyone.” Druigs face softened at your explanation. He hated that you had to walk on eggshells, careful not to say or do the wrong thing around everyone. He wanted nothing more than for you to just be yourself around them, like you were with him.
He nuzzled his head into your neck before whispering, “you’re too patient, darlin’.”
“I know I know,” you responded, snuggling deeper in his embrace. He placed a soft kiss to your neck, then another, and another, as he made his way up to your lips. He kissed you passionately, swiping his tongue along your bottom lip. You deepened the kiss, setting the book down on the night stand before tangling your fingers in his hair. He repositioned you under him, his hands roaming your body, over your curves and soft skin, before dipping his hand between your thighs.
“Already so wet for me my love,” he whispered against your lips, his fingers slipping around your folds. He moved his digits back and forth, drawing a whimper from your lips. Your hands tightened in his hair, tugging ever so slightly as he increased his speed.
“Feels so good,” you said, pulling him closer to you- as if that were possible.
He smirked, before slipping a finger inside you. He slipped in another, moving faster as he dipped down to your neck, nibbling at your skin.
“Think ya can handle more?” He asked, teasing your entrance with a third finger. You held back a chuckle, knowing he knew damn well you could handle more then three fingers.
“I want something bigger,” you whispered, smirking, while pulling at the hem of his pants.
“Well, well, well, aren’t we eager.” He pulled back. You frowned at the sudden lack of contact.
He threw his pants off to the side, his underwear tight against his body as his erection grew bigger at your pleading eyes.
“Lay down,” he ordered. You did as he said, moving to lay at the foot of the bed, your head hanging slightly off the edge. He came closer to you, releasing his throbbing cock from the restrictive cloth surrounding it.
Without warning he shoved his cock into your mouth, his hand gripping around your throat to steady himself as he pumped mercilessly into your mouth, sparing you little air to breathe.
“Just like that my pet,” he grunted, his grip tightening slightly on your throat. You began to choke as he hit the back of your throat, the feeling almost too much for him. He pulled out, leaving you gasping for air as your spit strung off his dick, pooling on the floor below.
“Such a good girl,” he said, before leaning down and kissing you sloppily, his tongue dominating yours. He helped you sit up, grabbing your hips to help position you on the bed.
“I need you Dru,” you pleaded, grabbing onto his arm to pull you closer.
He smiled in response, before plunging his cock deep inside of you, hitting your spot almost instantly. His hand quickly covered your mouth as you yelled out in pleasure, the feeling of his dick filling you up intoxicating you.
“Shhh,” he whispered in your ear. “Ya want them to hear how good your master is fuckin’ you?” He asked, as he pounded into you. You shook your head no, tears brimming your eyes as you felt your core grow hot, your orgasm coming too quickly for Druig’s liking.
“Not yet darlin’.” He flipped you over, giving your ass a rough bite as he placed a pillow under your belly to help give you support. You were going to need it. You turned back, giving him a smirk as he readied himself behind you, gripping your hips again, bringing you onto his cock. A loud moan escaped your lips and you gripped the sheets as you felt him push into you.
“Fuck, baby, ya feel so good,” he moaned. He pushed you down forcefully until you were flat on the bed, his right hand finding its way to your shoulder for extra support as he continued to plow into you. He moved his other hand to find yours, gripping them tightly as he tried to keep himself from screaming- something you were on the verge of doing.
“Let them hear you,” he threatened, slowing his pace but increasing the thrust. He was trying to get you to scream. He moved his hand from your shoulder down to your clit, rubbing it delicately. He knew you were on the verge of overstimulation, and wanted to push you just over the edge.
“Fuck, Druig!” You screamed, coming undone, causing him to also come undone with a loud moan. You couldn’t help yourself. He smirked, knowing damn well the others heard from the other side of the wall, as a muffled, collective groan could be heard. You let your head fall to the bed, panting heavily as your orgasm moved through your body, the euphoric tingling feeling spreading. He leaned down, placing soft kisses to your shoulder as he slowly slid out. You moaned again, the feeling leaving you empty and exhausted.
He felt proud as he stared at your limp body on the bed, drenched in sweat. He moved your hair our of your face, placing a gentle kiss to your temple, before falling behind you in the bed.
“Nothing better than an afternoon delight,” he whispered, pulling you into him.
There was a bang on the door, causing you to jump slightly.
“Go away,” Druig yelled, placing a hand over your ear as he did so, not wanting to disturb you.
“You guys, it’s important.” Sprites voice carried through the door. She sounded hesitant, clearly aware of the position you were both in. You looked up to Druig, a sudden anxious feeling washing over you.
“Give us a minute,” you yelled, hopping out of the bed to pull on one of the dresses the villagers had mad you. Druig hurriedly thew his clothes on from before, not caring how wrinkled they were from laying on the floor.
You threw open the door, untucking your hair from the collar of the dress and walked into the common area. Everyones eyes were on you, an uncomfortable tension hung in the atmosphere. You rolled your eyes, wanting to just be mature about the situation.
“What was so important that you had to disturb us,” Druig said, irritation evident in his tone.
“Okay, first of all, never do that again,” Phastos said, clearly disgusted with what he had heard. You and Druig both smirked while looking at each other, a small giggle coming from you.
“Oh come on, really?” Phastos murmured, turning away from the both of you.
“Enough. I think we need to step in…” Ajak said timidly as she stared out the window.
“Great, Druig can just do his thing… well his other thing,” Kingo offered, nodding his head at Druig, flashing him a cheeky smile. Druig chuckled in response giving you a smirk. You rolled your eyes.
“No. We can’t interfere like that,” Ajak responded, turning to face the rest of the eternals.
“So how do you suppose we help them?” You asked, confused at what she expected of you.
“I don’t know.” She whispered. Ajak was clearly defeated, unsure of what to do next. It had been centuries since Arishem had spoken to her, and anytime she reached out, she was met with silence. She could feel the Eternals growing restless as well, especially as Thena’s mind continue to fracture, her attacks growing more frequent.
“What do you mean you don’t know?” Druig asked, clearly frustrated with his leader. You placed a hand on his arm to tell him to chill out. He pushed it off. You glared at him, unsure where this sudden attitude came from, as he took several steps away from you. What the fuck?
“I mean that I do not know Druig. I need to figure it out. Excuse me.” She said timidly, dismissing herself to head to her room.
“The fuck was that?” You asked, turning to Druig.
“What?” He spat. You had never seen Druig act this way toward you. You could feel part of you break at the way he spoke to you. In the past millennium Druig had spoke with nothing but love and admiration in his voice. This sudden appearance of his temperament direct at you left you stunned.
You shook your head in disbelief, scoffing as you turned to head out of the room.
“Where are you going?” Sersi asked stopping you in your tracks.
“Does it matter? Not like you guys trust me enough to be in here.” You said, annoyed. You shot her an apologetic look, knowing she didn’t deserve the way you spoke to her, before leaving.
“Dude, what’s wrong?” Makkari signed as she slugged Druig on the arm.
“I don’t know,” he signed back, before sitting on the one of the ledges overlooking some celestial flowers.
“Okay, well you need to figure it out,” Makkari responded, giving him a weird look. He rolled his eyes in response, which pissed her off. She went and sat on the ledge across the room, giving him his space.
Everyone was quiet, the tension in the are was uncomfortable. Thena slowly made her way to leave the room, everyone too caught up in the awkwardness to notice as she slipped out. She was on her way to find you, the thoughts becoming overwhelming loud in her head.
You had left the Domo, entering the village. The protest was getting rowdy, cries for justice ringing in the air as they pushed further to the palace. Women and children cried in the streets, their frail bodies bringing tears to your eyes. You turned, heading to the forest just outside the village, wanting to be alone.
The forest was dark and damp reminding you of the light rain from earlier in the day. A low fog was rolling in from the lake just up ahead- the exact direction you were headed in. As you walked deeper into the forrest, the fog thickened, reducing your visibility.
A twig snapped behind you causing you to turn abruptly, eyeing what little of the forest you could see. A speck of gold caught your attention on your left just in time for Thena to pounce, swinging her golden sword above your head. You ducked quickly while groaning internally. You were not in the mood to deal with this bullshit.
“Really? Of all times?” You mutter under your breath as she lunged for you again, her sword going for your stomach. You moved just in time, cursing as she nicked you slightly. You yelped, stumbling back. She came towards you again, and you dodged her attack, rolling out to the side. She groaned, twisting her sword as she turned to find you.
“You can’t fool me Fulgora.”
“Oh my god, seriously Thena! I… am not… Fulgora!” You yelled in between hits, your anger getting the best of you. You were trying not to summon a storm, not wanting to cause more chaos in the village.
Instead, you slammed your fist on the ground, the trees falling around Thena from the earth quake you conjured. You ran over to her, straddling her lap. The once hanging vines from the tree now wrapped themselves around her wrists, binding them above her head.
You fist repeatedly connected to her face as you yelled, “I am Y/N. I am an eternal. I am not-”
“Y/N!” Sersi yelled, cutting you off. Your eyes met her shocked ones as the rest of the Eternals fell in line behind her, staring at you in horror. You looked to your fist, Thena’s blood ran down your wrist. It took everything in you to move your gaze to Thena’s face, badly beaten and already bruising.
Druig ran to you, knocking you off of Thena and to the ground. You let your body fall limp on the ground, exhaustion and depression fully consuming you as what you just did began to register in your mind. Druig was whispering your ear, but you didn’t hear a word he said, too numb to pay attention.
“Y/N, what happened?” He asked, but he was met in silence as you continued to stare at the sky above you, a single tear rolling down your cheek. The faces of the Eternals were replaying in your head, the look of shock, horror, and disgust.
Ajak was already healing Thena’s face as she laid unconscious on the ground, Gilgamesh right by her side holding her hand.
Makkari slowly walked to where you and Druig were, kneeling down at your side. She placed a hand on your cheek, pulling you towards her. It was her gentle touch that finally made you break. You began to sob, rolling over to face her, her arms instantly wrapping around you, holding you tight against her.
You sat like that with her for the next two hours, your trembling body pressed up against hers. Her silence was comforting as she gently rubbed your back, waiting patiently for your sobs to stop.
When they finally did, she looked down to see your eyes shut tight, your tear stained cheeks swollen from releasing all the emotion fro your body. A tear fell from her own eyes as she looked down to the dried blood on your wrists. You didn’t deserve to feel this type of pain. The rest of the Eternals had left already, each of them giving you a disturbed look as they left.
She kicked Druig awake. He never left your side, but eventually fell asleep. He didn’t want to, he wanted to stay conscious by your side until you stopped, but exhaustion overcame him.
Makkari kicked him harder and he snapped awake, sitting up immediately. He looked to where you were and found you asleep in your arms.
“I’ll take her back to the Domo,” Druig signed, moving to grab you out of Makkari’s arms, who nodded as he did so.
He gathered you in his arms, lifting you up as he headed back home, Makkari following at his side. The walked in silence, neither of them really wanting to talk about what they dealt with tonight.
When they reached the doors of the Domo, they walked down the hallway together, before Makkari touch his arm gently, signaling she was leaving. He mouthed a ‘thank you’, and she nodded her head before disappearing down her own hallway.
Druig walked a little further, before stopping in front of your door. He struggled a bit before gettin it open, kicking it closed with his foot. You were still asleep, nestled against his chest. He looked down at her, sighing softly as he noticed the dried blood.
“What did you do, Y/N,” he whispered, placing a kiss to your temple. He still was clueless as to what provoked you to beat Thena that badly. But he knew you wouldn’t have done it had it not been needed. Druig laid your body down on the bed before grabbing a bucket filled with water and a rag. He went over to your side of the bed and pulled up a chair. Dipping the rag in the water, he squeezed the excess water out and then placed it on your wrists, scrubbing gently, attempting to get the blood off.
It was a time-consuming task as dried blood didn’t come off easy- especially when he couldn’t scrub super hard, not wanting to wake you. The moon was already settled high in the sky by the time he finished, placing the bucket against the wall and climbed in the bed with you.
Tomorrow was going to be rough.

Y/N looked at her girlfriend with a blushed face, but she just took her by the hand and ran after the others. They decided to go to a bar near the bookstore.
Makkari had recommended it, she had been there several times and loved the atmosphere. Y/N had always admired the small bar, but only ever from the outside. It was an old brick building. The windows were darkened and only the candlelight from inside could still be seen through them. If she had known at that moment how the evening would end, Y/N would have turned around immediately and gone home. But even though she was exhausted, tired, and a bit overwhelmed with the whole situation, she had still gratefully agreed when Makkari tickled her to convince her to stay.
Makkari's hand was in hers as the two stepped through the small entrance into the bar. Phastos was visibly having trouble stepping through the small entrance behind the two. Y/N could still hear him complaining. The big man was the last of the group. He was late because he had been on the phone with his husband, so he was the last to make his way to the bar. Makkari held her hand tightly and looked around the room searching for the rest of her family. The Eternals were seated at a large table in the back room of the bar. All but Sprite already had drinks in hand and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Especially Ikaris and Sersei were in a good mood and looked longingly into each other's eyes the whole time. Sprite sat annoyed at the other end of the table, building a tower of beer coasters with Kingo. Karun was cheering for the two of them and at the same time trying to keep his camera straight, which he visibly failed at. Makkari and Y/N went to join the others at the table, Thena slid a bit on the sofa to make room for them. Phastos joined Druig and Ajak and immediately began to talk about his family. "Can you believe that next week is my son's birthday again?"
Ajak looked proudly at Phastos. "Of course, of course, as if we could forget. We'll pay you and your family a visit if that's okay?"
Y/N listened intently to the conversation. Phastos had been the most kind so far. He had proudly told her about his husband and child and how difficult it was for him to be openly queer at first. Y/N loved listening to him. She hadn't often met other queer people and especially hardly any who could actually live a happy life. Too many still faced hate and ignorance on a daily basis. Even though she and Makkari hadn't been together long, she had caught herself thinking what it would be like to marry her one day. And maybe to live in a small family home with her, children and a pet.
Makkari unexpectedly snapped her out of her thoughts with a kiss. " isn't she cute?" she signed to Druig and Gilgamesh who were just talking on the other side of the table, enjoying a shot of tequila. Confused, Y/N looked back and forth between the two. She would have loved to know what they were talking about. "Everything's fine? you look like you're worried" Makkari signed.
Y/n couldn't really answer this question. But she didn't want to lie, she couldn't think of anything better than to flee from the situation. "I'll get us something to drink at the bar" she said instead and went outside the room without waiting for an answer.
She felt horrible as she waited at the bar for her drinks. She had been acting terribly out of line since druig showed up. Makkari was just being friendly and Y/n was ruining everything. Someone behind her tapped her shoulder.
"Hey you, Makkari's friend !, sorry forgot your name. Will you order me one too? I know I look young but I'm old enough. Honestly. I'm not lying, I promise. But I really can't stay sober with those two back there." Sprite pointed to the couple cuddled up on the sofa. Ikaris and sersei were now sitting in the same spot she and makkari had been a few minutes ago.
"I don't know if this is such a good idea Sprite."
"oh come on, please, I really thought you were cool. I really don't feel like seeing Ikaris like this all night."
Y/n briefly wondered if she should ask why Sprite was so Stressed out about the two. But without knowing her, she still kinda knew. Sprite felt much the same way she did.
"Alright, but just one beer! If you want another one you'll have to beg someone else." Sprite looked annoyed, but was still satisfied that she got what she wanted.
"I'd ask Kingo if I were you" Y/N pointed in the direction of the movie star. He and Karun had already emptied a few beer glasses and were now singing a birthday song for Phastos son for their somewhat strange documentary. Phastos just tried to get them from climbing on one of the tables. Even though this situation was funny and somewhat absurd, Y/N preferred to look past the two very drunk men. On one of the other sofas, Druig and makkari were now sitting and talking excitedly. The two of them looked so happy, she thought. Druig had put his hand on Makkari's arm while he was laughing. Y/N thought they looked beautiful together. They were the perfect couple. She felt a different feeling slowly spreading through her. Quite different from the angry jealousy of the afternoon, now she felt only anxious. What if Makkari would leave her. What if Makkari would rather have him? Druig was handsome and strong. And apparently he even was funny and friendly, even if he was only that way to Makkari. Fuck he was perfect for her. Even Y/N had caught herself thinking about his fucking ocean eyes over and over again throughout the day. And when he had taken off his leather jacket, she had to force herself not to look too long at his trained bizeps. The two of them would be better together than Y/N could ever be with anyone. Her hands began to shake and tears formed in her eye. "Excuse me, I'm going to step outside for some fresh air. Y/N picked up her glass and left the building as quickly as possible for the second time that day.
Y/N stood there for quite a while. She already finished her drink and also the one she had ordered for makkari. The alcohol helped, she told herself, while she thought about going back to the bar and getting another drink. But she also knew that she wouldn't be able to drink very much. She had hardly eaten and had been a bit overtired all day, all these factors were not a good basis for drinking away your sorrow. The wind was blowing through the streets again and she was annoyed not to have taken at least her jacket from the sofa, where sersei, Ikaris and Thena were sitting. But she refused to go inside like that. She had been gone from the table for half an hour already and makkari probably hadn't even noticed. She couldn't imagine her pretty girlfriend wandering around the bar looking for her. She was probably still sitting in Druig's arm laughing. Why did he have to look so good? Why didn't Makkari have any ugly, annoying or boring college friends?
"Well, Y/N, are you thinking about me?" said the voice with the thick Irish accent.
"What? Me? No, why should I?" she said, perplexed. She hadn't noticed how the man had opened the door and stood next to her.
"I was just kidding beautiful beautiful Y/N" he said as he lit a cigarette. He held the pack out to her, but Y/N just shook her head.
"Makkari likes you very much. She told me a lot about you before our visit. She even said that your book taste was better than mine." He laughed softly. "And to be honest, she's really right about that." Y/N had to smile. She turned her head and looked Druig in the face. His smile was beautiful. Why couldn't she stop staring at him.
"Makkari always said you were as loving as Sersei, as caring as Ajak, as stubborn as Sprite, and as beautiful as Thena."
Makkari had said something like that about her? Y/N hardly believed what Druig was listing. Did her girlfriend really think so well of her? Perhaps the doubts from before had not been necessary.
"Of course, I didn't believe her at first, how could a human being ever fulfill exactly that? But to be honest, I changed my mind. She forgot to mention how clumsy you are, but I think she was right about everything else."
Y/N's face began to glow. He was just being friendly after all. But then why was this warm feeling spreading through her stomach.
"Wow, you seem to be really cold, you are probably too stubborn to get your jacket.“ he winked“ Well wait, here put mine on." he held his jacket in front of her face.
"No, no, it's okay, it's not that cold."
"Don't talk such bullshit, take my jacket before you freeze to death. Or are you afraid that if you smell my good scent you'll fall in love with me right away?" teasingly he leaned a bit towards her. She was still looking into his blue eyes when he put the jacket around her. The two were now standing very close to each other. All the anger she had felt all day was gone. Maybe she wasn't mad at Druig at all. Maybe she was just mad at herself, how could she dream about this man all day long even though she was in a happy, loving relationship. A man who was a complete stranger. Y/N felt like Druig was a magnet that attracted her, and as she lowered her eyes and they caught at his lips, she couldn't help but imagine kissing him.
"Is that okay?" he asked. Without knowing what exactly he was getting at, she agreed by nodding.
He kissed her like it was all he ever wanted. Y/N had no idea what was happening to her, she just knew she wanted more. Their lips touched gently at first and then with more and more pressure and passion. His lips were warm and soft. They felt so similar to Makkaris. Makkari…
"Fuckkkk. What the hell did we just do." Y/N broke away from Druig aprubtly. She cursed over and over. And paced back and forth in front of the bar.
"I thought that was okay? I'm sorry I definitely didn't mean to pressure you, I thought we felt the same." Apologetically he took another step towards her. Y/N just pushed the jacket into his hand.
" I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. I love Makkari. We are really happy. I can't just ruin my relationship like that. I..."
Y/N gestured wildly. What the hell was she thinking. She really had to destroy everything. She hardly realized how drunk she was after all when she tripped over the sidewalk the second time that day.
Before she could fall onto the street, Druig held her by the wrist. "I got you, love. Please stay. Let's talk about this…“
But Y/N didn't want to talk. "Sorry I...I better go home." she said. He let go of her wrist and she ran across the street between the parked cars. Past the bookstore towards the Train station. Tears flushed her face and blocked her view.
An hour later, she sat in her kitchen, somewhat calm. She had just thought about todays events. It was like an awful nightmare.
Y/N made her favorite tea and sat on her bed. When she got up early in the morning, she definitely didn't think that the day would end like this. She took another sip. And her thoughts went from the beginning through the whole day again.
