inside bo burnham review no one asked for
i enjoy other peoples commentary and i was writing down my first thoughts anyway so here it is
inside
first song/intro song
i like the phone screen on him, very reflective of how we have had phone screens on us
“roberts been a little depressed” osnskjdnfs
they were right “daddys made you some content so open wide” hjbfafn
intro
oh my god he looks awful
but like in a cute way
maybe
healing the world with comedy (second song)
the canned and queued laugher no exactly… is it a symbol or is it just funny.. who's to say.
it think its a good first song, establishing he knows what he is doing is kind of useless
“the indescribable power of your comedy”
he looks like marc maron rn
i like the synthed voice and synthesizer
the jesus allusion … yeah
“i'm a special kind of white guy”
this feels like he knows how he is perceived by fans.. Make happy was too much
his fucking dancing fksjdnfksj
i think he did a good job looking manic
the lasers lmao
Side 1
Bo made a huge gamble releasing this like,,, what if you just stumbled upon it and this was ur first introduction to him..
I bet its like when i comment dumb things on instagram comments and get that rush of hehehehe
NO NOT BO DEVELOPING BILLIE EILLISH VOWELS
Also this is exactly what he wanted like,, he just wanted to make his things and not deal with the crowds so..
To think i was like finding scraps of him performing at largo and stuff and now,, so much content
life imitates art
the way he's literally what he wrote hgbkdf
there is no authenticity with cameras
suicide ?
 facetime with my mom tonight
the blue light.. Yeah
o hblue like sad
i don't know how i feel about the electric music but i guess its no different than whatever else i listen to
this is sad wow
still catchy etc
side 2
i wonder if here will be any fart jokes
that is how the world works (songs)
the huge mess and then him in a sweater
this is reminiscent of that walmart muppets
he became tim minchin with a sock puppet
the “yes… yes sir” stoppp
jkgdsnfijwkensfosnf
qbejfnjne
nerjgnoejns
bo making a political statement and a metaphor for activism and then making it weirdly kinky
brand consultant (bit)
man bun
i have to believe he filmed it with the beard because quarantine vibes and also bc he was tired of being seen as a child
white womans instagram (song)
i did not like that intro
BO AND GLASSES THANK GOD
the daisies wow just wow
underwear
“white womans instagram” or “bo burnham becomes a girlboss”
i like that he didn't lose his cadence like the way the rhymes are you can still tell its him
i don't get the mom part sorry
is it like how people are very superficial but also very personal on their instagrams
this part was legit sad
side 3
i wonder how he felt with cameras constantly on him
Although this is the point hes trying to make
lol seinfeld moment (bit)
unpaid intern (bit and song)
“barely people somehow legal” was so smooth woW
omg he was scatting
he was a man who would scat
oh my god what great news
the react clip omg
i cant believe he did that oh my god
observation/critisism and response to the “can anyone shut the fuck up”
and as i realized what he was doing he was like “i have this need for everything i make to have a deeper meaning” oh my god
now the question is how long will this go on?
jeffrey bezos (song)
idk its catchy
and then theres him like sleeping and talking which kind of is part of the jeff bezos song
bug eyes salamanders hehe
sexting (song)
i do believe this is just a silly song
the earrings tho omg
sounds like post malone hbkjdsnfskj
idk its still about like intimacy in quarantine and that stuff..
the knife (bit)
i know hes copying like other youtubers but like,,, what
stuck in a room (song)
the intro is very funny and relatable
classic bo i love it
i will say this special has been more reflective but i suppose it has to be
“look whos inside again”
i like the end too, this is all a fabrication
this is the clip where hes staring at the projection of himself from his old youtube videos which is sort of more like an ending to the “stuck in my room” song
 sorry (song)
i love the 80’s style music and its like zumba
oh this is like an apology song
“father please forgive me for i did not realise what i did, or that id live to regret it” what a catchy line
i would say this is another more “classic” bo song where its self aware and funny
“my closet it chalk full of stuff that is vaguely shitty”
camera falling
this deserves its own bullet because its silly
i'm turning 30 (bit and song)
i remember him talking about this on a podcast and like,, damn i didn't know this also happened LOL
i really like how he did the lighting
“stupid fucking ugly boring children”
suicide talk (1)
this is interesting i like the use of the projection
this is something that could never have happened onstage
just like with the it being projected on him
i guess it could but it would have to be done differently and probably hed have to make it funnier to make it more engaging
intermission
i just checked this is about the halfway point.. Mh
i don't wanna know (song)
“i thought it’d be over by now”
i wish this was longer but i kind of like how its just a little snippet and then the cut
video game (bit)
“i guess i’ll cry again”
“is the dude big or is the room small” lol
hm depression
 feelin like shit (song)
ohh the lighting is fun again
this is the tone shift i suppose
the feels like supalonely and the new kind of music
atl
:(
panic attack
everything all of the time (song)
feels like brandon rogers
i enjoy this
this feels like “welcome to youtube” grew up
“a little bit of everything all of the time”
“apathys a tragedy and boredoms a crime”
ok olivia rodrigo
finishing the special (bit)
these feel like diary entries but as standup
interesting choice
jeffery bezos (2)
Why the seaweed suit
Where did he get that
the digital space (bit)
suit up, gather what is needed, and return to the surface
damn
pirate map anfdkjfnskjd
this was so stupid (affectonate)
that funny feeling (song)
the campfire vibes
kenny loggins
i don't get it..
is it about childhood, is it about the present?
i think its talking about the end of content?
“the end of culture”, to quote make happy
change and not liking it
“we were overdue, but it will be over soon”
if the second half of the special is like a panic attack this song is like a momentary pause before it gets worse
“so ive been working on this special”/breakdown
this was .. uncomfortable and genuine which i'm sure is why he kept it
all eyes on me (song/rant)
another sad thing to watch.. damn
me trying to tell if the audio was from make happy
i think he was trying to make it as if the audio was from make happy
this feels.. familiar
and obviously that is the point
“come on in the waters fine”
the use of autotune during the talking part... yeah
sad that he was gonna make another special… and it would have been totally different than this
i’ve decided i like the homage to make happy
It feels like hes made peace with it
the montage of him waking up and the “i think i'm done”
and then of course the ending where he's watching it over to remind us that its all fabricated
possible ending song/ “i promise to never go outside again”
ngl he looks good in the shirt with the haircut hehe
which i feel like is what he wants up to notice
and then like not think after we saw all his breakdowns
“i want to hear you tell a joke when no ones laughing in the background”
i really like the medley
Final thoughts
I want a blooper reel, but this doesn't seem like the kind of special
I also wonder if the songs will be on like apple music, but again, doesn't seem like the kind of special
I'm happy for him, he got to be honest and open and show us the sort of panicky stuff
this self aware comedy is exactly the stuff that i think will be making a comeback in the next decade.  John better be pulling up with more deconstructed comedy.
I hope this has given him peace

okay so i’ve been going crazy these past few days. all about cockles/jensmish and obsessively watching their panels or reading the transcripts BECAUSE. THEY ARE LOUD. LIKE. i saw some fancams on twt and i thought people were just exaggerating but noooooooooo!!!???? so, getting to the point. you said that how do we know that jensen is performing masculinity? because jared isn’t and THAT IS A BIG BRAIN MOMENT. ON POINT. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. a particular moment from gag reel that jumps out (which you’ve talked about) when jensen goes ‘cas, you are my baby daddy’ and misha goes, ‘i know i love you too’ and jensen goes, ‘i didn’t say i love you’ and misha goes, ‘i know you wanted to’ and jensen says, ‘i love you’ WHAT THE FUCK! that was NOT a joke. yes, people took it as a joke and had a good laugh BUT I HAVE WATCHED IT TOO MANY TIMES AND IT LIVES IN MY MIND RENT FREE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A PERFORMANCE. THAT WAS JENSEN. THAT WAS MISHA. jensen has a had trouble with the pda and being all touch feely (the breakup theory) and he gradually grew into it, accepted it and misha was right there all along, never pushed it. it was like a deancas au but tbh, 99% of destiel is because of cockles and we all know it. i just. jensen has latched onto dean as an emotional support because he tunes with it. understands it. projects on to it. yeah, i just had to say it and get it off my chest. (and what about those poetry pages on instagram? alma? what is your opinion?) btw, you have a lovely blog and your analysis are right on target.
so there is a LOT i’m going to address here(how dare you bring up [gunshot] i HAVE to talk about it now) so again!!!! under a cut it goes but i hope you appreciate my rambles anon it seems like you do :,)
1. jared vs. jensen and performing masculinity. hell yeah man. jared and jensen are both just ‘guys from texas’ but they are still so vastly different. today i actually had a revelation that i’m pretty sure has to do with me being bi. and it’s that i have a group of straight friends(that i love dearly but they care too much about hockey and pitbull imo could not be me) and i have a group of queer friends(who are also batshit[affectionate]). and it’s like whichever group i hang out with a different side of me emerges? they’re both me, it’s just that certain aspects of who i am as a person only surface depending on who i am around. however, i will say i feel like i watch what i say around my straight friends more. i see that very clearly in jensen as well. around jared during panels and on set, he’s definitely putting on an air of machismo and engages in typical guy talk. i do think an element of it is performative, because he wants validation from jared that they’re still just two dudes from texas taking on the world together despite his sexual identity. does that make any sense??? i hope so. but when he’s with misha he is an entirely different person and his sense of humour becomes wildly different. the machismo fades away, he’s way less caught up in what people think about him, lets his guard down, etc. to go back to my original point which is how j2 are different in that regard....jared does not do this. he is a constant. he does not flip a switch between ‘performing masculinity’ and ‘not’ because he isn’t performing any part of who he is. he just IS. so yeah these two are similar in many regards but there’s somewhat of a dissonance between them when it comes to how they perform masculinity because one of them is putting on a show and the other is merely being.
2. that crypt scene blooper(here just in case you need to see it again. do it. as a treat.) when i tell you i have easily seen this over thirty times??? since it first came out??? i mean it. it is such an overlooked(r*mantic) moment and it means so much more than people think it does. i’ve talked about the context behind it, and i think that’s why this blooper was so meaningful, so i’ll mention it again. jensen and misha had a LOT of trouble with this scene. the reason is that jensen couldn’t wrap his head around why dean would be saying these things, if i remember correctly, and both of them sat down and scoured over how they should play it for a while before filming(teamwork ;) teammates *ahem*). [to be honest we all know why jensen had a hard time with that scene and it is because it is blatantly romantic. rip to him but i would simply give in to it at that point but oh well] so anyway, their heads were scattered going into shooting, which is NEVER a good headspace to be in for a scene, ESPECIALLY not a pivotal one. but they had each other to help them through said weird energy on set that couldn’t possibly have invoked the best feelings, especially considering jensen STILL doesn’t think he played that correctly(but he praised misha on his performance :,) ). and with that context every single part of that video hits haRD
-’stop pulling my face towards your crotch’ i think this is objectively hilarious because it really really looks like jensen is pulling HIMSELF towards misha’s crotch. again, you’re fooling no one, jensen. misha’s wheezing laugh and the way he wraps himself around jensen is also,,,sweet??? like i don’t know how else to describe how i see it but this moment really reads as jensen, in his weird ‘constructing elaborate rituals’ way is asking for security through a physical touch from misha and he happily obliges and gives jensen what he needs. because i mean...watch it again. jensen ‘fights back’, but not really at all, actually. pretty wimpy counterattack. he literally lets himself be smothered by misha, and i would literally describe what they end up doing as cuddling.
-’i need you, cas. you’re my baby daddy’ i love having an actor’s perspective on things bc i think i can explain what’s going on here. jensen just delivered what was(in his own mind) a rotten take of the lines he’s most scared of delivering. so the scene was already messed up. therefore; ensuing fuckery is warranted to help him feel better. but there’s also for sure more than meets the eye for what he says here because of misha’s reaction after??? like he seemed genuinely touched. first of all, he’s saying ‘you’re my baby daddy’ as half-jensen, but not necessarily dean either(because he didn’t say the previous lines as true to his character...you get it), to misha, not cas. i think i’ve made this point before, but every single innuendo in the gag reels is to misha specifically, never once cas. therefore; logical conclusion: ‘you’re my baby daddy’ was for misha and it meant something deeper than we think because of what follows it
-this part. jensen’s giddy ass smile after he sees misha crack and then misha says ‘yeah, i know’ (can i just say his voice when he says this is so intimate???? like am i intruding guys??? sorry i’ll let myself out) also he is smiling SO BIG
- ‘i know’ ‘why are you laughing?’ ‘no i know i love you too’ this analysis is already so long but i still want to get into what THAT whole exchange means. ‘why are you laughing?’ to me sounds like jensen’s pretending to be affronted by misha laughing at something that is serious. and it’s serious because he quite literally meant ‘i love you’. he did. misha knows it. misha’s really REALLY good at cutting the bs and just getting to what people are actually trying to say. he has an innate sharpness to his sense of humour. so yes, misha is being 100% accurate when he says ‘i know, but you wanted to say it.’ misha isn’t lying here. jensen did want and mean to say ‘i love you’. and then he actually does say it(in a jokey way but not really).
- so yeah. it is actually so romantic??? like in a weird way jensen was professing his love for misha here?????? and that’s why this clip will NEVER. ever. get old.
3. jensen having trouble with pda and projecting onto dean: we can all call ourselves dean coded cas girls but NO one deserves that title more than jensen ackles himself. he is dean winchester but marginally less repressed because he actually did admit he was in love with his best friend and let himself be happy, and pretty early on too. one year and two months as opposed to twelve years. so. happy deancas au is correct. and yes about the pda thing: one day i want to write my own post about both of their body language when it comes to each other, but all i can tell is jensen, even in the early days, couldn’t help himself from flirting with misha, but if misha ever crossed a line, jensen would not be happy. clearly he’s come around, however. what i find sweet is that misha always follows jensen’s lead when it comes to how much affection they’re allowed to show each other onstage. it touches my soul
4. destiel is cockles fault. yeah. and the thing is everyone knows it, too. even non-cockles shippers will explain early destiel as entirely dependant on jensen and misha’s wild chemistry. and that chemistry is easily explained by the fact that misha and jensen are literally just wildly horny bisexuals who were crazily attracted to one another and were falling in love on screen before our very eyes. and when you have THAT insider info(which sounds cray doesn’t it!!!! the destiel actors are in love irl??? huh???) everything really does click into place. why destiel got SO popular when the show and actors never ever intended for it to happen.(i know some people think misha was playing cas as gay the whole time for shits and giggles, and i won’t deny that[especially considering he found out early on that destiel was why he was staying on the show], but i don’t think he really wanted it to amount to anything, nor did he care??? i mean he has the real thing with jensen, for one, so their characters aren’t really as important. for two, he loves joking about destiel because it’s a cultural phenomenon and it’s fascinating, and i’m sure he did ship it because he’s unhinged, but i don’t think it was vastly important to him either way.) destiel got popular because everyone was and is unintentionally reading into the real deal. i could pull up countless gifs that people have used as destiel proof that is actually just jensen and misha being messy. mainly jensen. if i’m being honest.  the symbiotic relationship between destiel and cockles is why i’ve stayed onboard the destielcule and shellerscape for three solid months now; because it is utterly fascinating to witness and kind of super beautiful, too.
5. alma(and others). so. i do NOT want to really REALLY get into this in its entirety here and now so i will just give you my opinion on if i think alma is misha or not. also; i don’t want to mention the other poetry accounts here bc i feel like that’s a bigger breach in privacy, but a lot of people do know about alma now. way too many, actually. this is why we can’t have nice things. anyway-to answer your question-there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that yes, misha is running that alma poetry account. i am 100% certain. some people think it’s actually three people and they’re all connected to misha in some way but that is so needlessly complicated. as it goes in psychology; the easiest explanation is probably the right one. it’s just one person running that account, and it is misha collins. i don’t know why it’s so hard to believe KNOWN POET misha collins(who is known to spend most of his free time writing poetry anyway) would have created a secret poetry account to write about his intense secret relationship under an alias and also get legitimate feedback since no one used to know it was him. oh and the handwriting is identical??? you are blind if you do not see that i am sorry. and a million other things prove it’s misha too but yeah all you need to know is yes. it’s him. it would take a literal livestream from a random woman on that account to convince me otherwise. and honestly not even that because a random woman could technically still log in if misha asked her too. so. it would take a hell of a lot to convince me otherwise, clearly. that said DO NOTTTTTTTTTTTT GO ONTO THAT ACCOUNT WITH A SUPERNATURAL RELATED USERNAME AND COMMENT THINGS THAT ARE COCKLES RELATED. ARE YOU BRAIN DEAD WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT’S OKAY. sorry i got heated but god please just don’t be dumb so many people have already gone way too far
6. thank you for your lovely compliment on my analyses!!! i love doing them but i don’t know if people actually like reading them so i really appreciate it

Onision: IRL EP: 1 - Onision’s Response videos summary Part 8 (Final part for episode 1)
“Shiloh Exposed For MASSIVE Lies About Onision on Discovery Plus Documentary” (19 of 21)
Clip from the doc. They show the video “Garden Hugs” (re-upload) where it starts off with Shiloh trying to record a video. James interrupts her by yelling, “SHUT UP!” Randy asks how is this going to end and what’s the final chapter. James says they showed the clip out of context. He skips ahead to when he and Shiloh hug at the end of the video. He sarcastically says, “what an abuser.” In the clip, James makes faces while hugging Shiloh and noises while he kisses her. As he’s watching, he comments that he’s “funny as fuck.” He says that is obvious slander.
He’s playing the end of that clip out of context. What he didn’t show was Shiloh getting upset after he yelled at her. In the clip he even points out her eyes were getting teary. She tried continuing to record her video, but then it cuts to him cheering her up with a hug.
Clip continues, Randy says there’s no way this is going to end well. James says Randy sounded like Shane Dawson and that's why he’s so haunted by Shane. James says they played the clip of himself and Shiloh as if it were doom and gloom, but it was a literal make-out session. Doc plays again, Shiloh says he would shoot her and kill her in a lot of their videos. James sarcastically says if you ever pretend to shoot someone in a comedy sketch, you are now a predator. He plays a clip of Cyr pretending to accidentally shoot him in a sketch. He says he guesses Cyr abused him according to Shiloh and Discovery + logic.
The doc plays a clip from Shiloh and James’ fake prank video where he and his friends shave the side of her head while she pretends to sleep. Shiloh says she was an entertainer- he stops the clip. James shows a tweet from Shiloh to prove she was in on the prank. The clip continues and she says she was degraded for comedy. They play more of the fake prank clip. James says the documentary is framing that like it is real and people are going to think he shaved half of her head without her consent.
I think it’s obvious it was fake? She’s literally talking about how she was degraded for comedy and how she was an entertainer while they show the clip.
He says he doesn’t know how it’s possible to shave someone’s head during sex. He says you move too much.
She never said he shaved her head while they were having sex. She claimed during sex he told her he wanted to shave her head, then brought her to the bathroom and shaved it.
Tumblr media
He shows a snippet of an old blog post from Shiloh to prove she chose to have her head fully shaved. He points out she said she “made a stupid decision.”
That could be in reference to her allowing him to shave her head. It doesn’t disprove her claim.
He plays the clip where he licks her bald head and sarcastically says she’s clearly a person who didn’t want to be in that situation and points out her smile and says she has joy in her face. He goes through the “Greg Abuses Me” clips again, but I already summarized his points in a previous summary.
“Shiloh Scammed, Lied About and Cheated On Onision (PROOF) Discovery Plus Documentary SHAM” (20 of 21)
Doc again, Shiloh says it [Onision comedy sketch videos] was the only creative outlet that she had. James says that’s a lie and again uses the clip of her in a professional studio (at the very beginning of their relationship) to prove she recorded music during their relationship. They play the candy corn clip from “Greg Abuses Me.” He, again, proves it was from a sketch. He says they shows it out of context because they wanted to fit the definition of slander.
Again, I already talked about the studio clip and summarized his candy corn points all in this post.
Clip continues. Shiloh says because of her career and status, she think he used her. James pauses it to point out she slit his throat in the sketch the documentary played while she was speaking. Shiloh says she believes he was making $30,000 a month while they were shooting videos. James says that’s wrong and laughs. He says he was way more successful with his husband than when he was with Shiloh. He shows Google Trends for Onision to show his relevance go up during his current marriage. He says Shiloh was not a significant blip on the relevance radar. He shows it was almost nothing until Banana Song. He says Shiloh is a crazy ego maniac. He says UhOhBro was his most profitable channel and he didn’t start that until after Shiloh.
She didn’t claim he was at his most successful during their relationship. I’m curious about how much he actually made while they lived together. Surprised he didn’t drop any receipts on that. 🤔 Especially since he started publicly threatening suicide over his $1k monthly alimony payments shortly after his relationship with Shiloh ended.
Shiloh says she never saw any of the money James made off of Youtube. James laughs and shows their emails from when he sent her money when she was in Canada. He says he also paid for flights and hotels while she worked in studios. He says he paid for her rent and food while she was in Canada. He says he paid for all the restaurants they went to while she was recording in the studio. He says she’s a fucking liar. He also shows the emails where she said she would pay him back and gave him fake money transfer info. He says she never paid him back. He says she did make that profit.
When I watched the doc, I got the impression she was saying she wasn’t paid. Like, she never got a cut of the monthly paychecks from their sketches. Not that he never gave her money or paid for anything. Also, the emails he shows where he sent her money were from the very end of their relationship, when she went to Canada to receive medical treatment. That’s a yikes if the only time he gave her money was at the end of the two years they were together. Especially since she made so many videos with him.
Shiloh says you’re essentially his property, his slave. He shows the “I’m Sorry” apology blog post Shiloh made after she was caught cheating on him. He points out she apologized and said she wants him to be happy. He says that doesn’t sound like a victim. He says it sounds like someone who cheated and got pregnant with someone else’s baby, completely lied and betrayed someone. He reads another portion of the blog post where she says she still thinks about him and when she looks at his pictures she cries. She said she calls his phone just to hear his voice. She said she was jealous when he moved on. She said she loves him and she deserves what is to come.
So because she’s apologizing for her wrongdoings and still has feelings for him right after their relationship ended means he never could have done anything wrong to her?
He says she is out of her god damn mind. He points out she admitted to emotionally cheating in her blog post, but says she had a baby 9 months later. He shows a picture of her and her baby, the baby is blacked out, which he says he did. He says here she is with her baby who died of SIDs, “according to her.” He says as he proved, you can’t trust her. He puts the baby’s birthday in a date calculator. He shows an email where someone talks to him about Shiloh cheating. He points out the email was from February 8th, so he says the cheating happened on or before that date. He uses the calculator to say it was 283 days between. He shows the average pregnancy lasts about 280 days. He says her boyfriend also bragged about having sex with her, which is why he broke up with her.
I hate when he insinuates Shiloh lied about her baby passing away. It’s so fucked up. How could someone as infamous online as Shiloh get away with lying about a child’s death for 8 years? Does he think she is hiding an 8 year old child somewhere? Believe me, if she lied, we would have known by now. She made a lot of enemies online over the years that would have loved to expose her for another lie.
I’ve explained this before, but I’ll explain it again. Back in the day Shiloh was HATED by almost everyone who followed her relationship with James, not just his fans. There were many “anti-o’s” who continued to shit on Shiloh way after their relationship was over. By the time her child passed, the baby’s father was not on good terms with her. A prominent anti-o reached out to the father to find out if she was lying. He confirmed the baby passed.
“Shiloh Embarasses Herself and Destroys Documentary on Onision With More Lies (Discovery + Exposed)” (21 of 21)
Shiloh says James convinced her that wearing makeup was something that sluts do. James says that’s easy to disprove. He shows Shiloh wearing make-up in the video where they announce she is back with James after a 2 month break-up. He points out she shoots himself and Cyr. The clip continues, Shiloh says she had no way to contact the outside world and she wasn’t allowed to leave the house. James randomly shows this on screen with no context:
Tumblr media
It’s not relevant at all to what he’s speaking about. Also that’s not a message. It’s a public tweet. This was during the time when she was being civil toward James and refused to speak negatively about him.
He asks if she wasn’t allowed to contact the outside world, why did she have her own blog? He shows her Draculoh blog and says he clearly had no control over it because she would post when they were not dating. He says none of her statements are making sense. They show the “Greg Abuses Me” clip where he says everything she wants to put online goes through him first. James again, points out he was pretending to be the Joker and they were making a comedy sketch. He says in the blooper video, she was pretending to be sad and she was pretending to cry.
On screen, the doc says “after almost a year together, Shiloh and Greg’s relationship implodes.” He says it imploded far sooner than a year. He says he dumped her numerous times. He says he dumped her in Toronto and back in the States. He shows “The Truth” clips where she threatens to destroy him because he destroyed her. He says that’s pretty scary. He says the police showed up because she threatened to kill herself and make it look like he did it. He shows the clip of him speaking to the police. He tells the police she threatened to kill herself. He asks Shiloh what she said, that she was going to “make it look really bad.” A police officer interrupts James and asks Shiloh if she said she would kill herself. Shiloh says she did. Text on screen says, “there you go, she admitted I was telling the truth about her.” He said she was hauled away by the police.
The video does not prove James’ claim that she threatened to kill herself and make it look like she did it. She was asked by the police if she said she was going to kill herself and she says she did. That is not an admission to what James said.
While Shiloh speaks, they play the fake prank James and Shiloh recorded while he records her in the shower. Text on screen from James says Discovery + is a slanderous, corrupt company framing the clip like it is not a comedy sketch.
Again, they put this warning at the beginning of the episode. They don’t have to clarify which clips are comedic and which ones are serious. Fir the most part, it’s kind of obvious which clips are from sketches imo.
Tumblr media
Shiloh says she tried to leave a couple of times, but he would find a way to stop her. James laughs and says that’s literally not true. He plays more of the police clip where he says Shiloh refuses to leave his house. He high fives himself and says he love receipts.
In that particular video, one of the things Shiloh says while she was crying was that she had nowhere to go. It seems like he was trying to kick her out. She was in a foreign country with no friends or family. She didn’t have a relationship with her parents at that point. Like he said earlier, they had a lot of break-ups. This does not disprove her claim.

((really long sanders sides video theory warning))
So I mentioned earlier that this next Sanders Sides episode could be a Patton and Roman only episode.
However, I would like to bring this to your attention.
On Insta, Thomas posted this:
Tumblr media
This was posted on February 18th, 2020.
The most recent Sanders Sides video, which was "Sanders Asides: Are There Healthy Distractions?" (ATHD) was posted in November 2019.
This means that this was definitely not recorded during ATHD, which leads me to infer, with 99% certainty, that this was for the next Sanders Sides video (after DWIT). (I mean, the Sides wore onesies during ATHD anyways, which further proves my point.)
Now, could Thomas have just dressed up as Roman and Virgil for a 20-ish second clip? Probably. Would Thomas be willing to put that much effort into a small video? Maybe.
But it doesn't make sense. Why would a person dress up for something so small? Instead, why not just do it during something more important?
Bingo.
I presume that this tiny clip was recorded while they were recording for Sanders Sides. Like a side of fries that comes with a pizza. The lighting looks like how it normally would for a Sanders Sides video anyways.
Look at this tweet, posted on March 18th, 2020.
Tumblr media
He's editing the videos now. So if you think about it, recording a Sanders Sides video a month before makes a lot of sense. He's got a lot of projects in the making too.
Which means that Virgil is probably going to be somewhere in this next video. I'm definitely sure Roman's going to be in it; just look at the trailer! (from the bloopers)
Of course, Virgil and Logan's disappearance would be more than significant, but the most I could possibly guess is that Virgil is in this video. I don't know about Logan.
Maybe they show up at the beginning, then get taken out, like how Remus took out Roman?
But that's just a theory, a fander theory...
--
Note: I don't know for certain if it's a Pat + Roman only episode since I haven't watched the livestream. I just saw it on a post that referred to it.
--
If you're still sticking around after reading all of this, let me know if you think my logic is flawed in any way.

A Talk About The RWBY Community
I’m going on a rant, but I’m doing this because I care. So please...read carefully, think critically, discuss politely.
First, my history with RWBY. I love RWBY. I loved the work Monty did on several projects, both through RT and his own work. What caught my eye with RWBY at first glance was the badassery! When the Red trailer dropped, I couldn’t stop showing it to everyone! I thought it was so cool. Then White dropped, and it lured me in because Weiss and her trailer seemed so mysterious. Then Black dropped and I felt bad for the would-be Villian, Adam. Finally, Yellow dropped and it was so catchy, fun, and upbeat compared to the rest. Volume 1 came out and I was so interested in the world!! The animation had no real impact in my eyes, so long as it didn’t hinder the story.
Next, where I noticed issues. I don’t recall noticing any issues until Volume 3. Up until that point, I wasn’t really involved in the community. At most, I had seen some memes and silly compilations that came from bloopers. Volume 3 was where I saw people complaining about Bumblebee and starting ship wars. Nothing is WRONG with having ships, but we have to remember that everyone else has an opinion and that it’s all fun and game. I didn’t have any real issue with Bumblebee, but I wasn’t crazy for it either. I recall seeing several posts talking about “yes” or “no” to if bumblebee was actually a thing, and it got intense. We’ll never know unless we saw the RWBY bible for ourselves in its unmodified, original state.
As time moved on, I got less and less involved with the community. Between attacking other shippers, demanding things from RT, bullying other fans of the show, controversies behind the scene, I got exhausted from being a part of the RWBY community. I still watched the show and had my own thoughts on things, even if they were never shared. If anyone attended the Volume 5(6?) Theatre premier, I’d like you to recall a small clip that played before the first episode where Kerry had come to tell us that they heard our feedback about the fighting and choreography from Volume 4, and they were fixing that. I remember a lot of people demanding more action and better scenes, but not offering full critiques on what was good and bad. Volume 4 was slow on combat, fair enough, but the combat was done fairly well considering they lost their lead animator and hardest worker. On top of that, I thought the quality of the story skyrocketed in volume 4 because of all the little details we saw. An overarching goal, character growth, etc.
Where is this all coming from? Well, after volume 4, I’ve tried to stay as far away from the RWBY community as possible. Despite this, I met my closest friends through RWBY. Aside from the Vic incident, I stayed away until today. I was browsing YouTube where I saw a video of someone covering drama that happened because an artist put Ruby in a maid outfit. It sounds silly, but this actually kinda hurt me. People were fighting tooth and nail, even trying to get the artist’s twitter account taken down. I’m ashamed to want to be engaging with people about RWBY if this is how they act. Monty always stressed to be kind to others and enjoy life, instead of fighting.
Why is this important? Guys, at the end of the day, it’s a fictional show full of fictional characters in a fictional world. We love these characters, some of us heavily relate to them. I know I relate to Weiss more than I was comfortable with at first. We see something in these characters and may often forget that they aren’t real. This community should be positive. It should be upbeat and happy, supporting one another. We all come here because we LOVE RWBY, not because we get to bully others or move the show in a way we want. I hate seeing people fight. I love the show, and I want to find so many friends that love it for what it is. I’m not saying they have to share all my views, I’m not saying they can’t critique the show. What I’m saying is that I want to know there are fans out there that accept the show for what it is and are kind enough to others that open discussions about the show won’t divide us.
Closing thoughts? Art is tricky. It’s a creative medium where people go to express certain ideas. Beyond that, I don’t want to draw lines in the sand between “good” and “bad” fans, but I’ve never wanted to accept that some fans weren’t open to discussing the show in a fair, open way that allows for both parties to walk away with new perspectives. For instance, if I post that I really love the idea of White Rose being a ship, I’d like people to just be silly and laugh with me about “what-ifs” and share their own ships. If I post a critique of a character, I would expect it to be a thought out and meaningful evaluation of the character. And I would PRAY that any responses are also well thought out and meaningful.
Please, be kind to others and keep moving forward.
Edit: There are some details about my life and involvement that I’ve left out for the purposes of remaining anonymous, so if there appear to be things that don’t exactly align, that’s probably why. Otherwise, feel free to ask as long as it helps understand the bigger picture

Request: Both Addictive and Electric
Summary: After finishing filming for the final season of the fantasy series Fairy Tail, Laxus finds himself at a party. Across the dancefloor is Freed, a co-star and a man who Laxus respects more than any other actor. But his feelings are more than just respect, and the space separating them is an ocean, but Laxus wants to change that. He just needs some time. And courage. [Fraxus One Shot]
This was part of a prompt based request thing I'm doing, based off of a request to have a Fraxus Actor AU made by @veikari. I hope you all enjoy and if you have a request please leave a comment or maybe talk to me tumblr.
You can read this on FanFiction, Archive of our Own, or under the cut. Hope you enjoy it ^.^
Both Addictive and Electric
"Well, I'm sure you were bored of my voice before this even started," Makarov spoke into the microphone, getting a chuckle from the crowd. "So I'll end it here. Have a fun night, drink well, and don't do anything that'll get you in tomorrow's papers."
A cheer went through the room, and Laxus raised his glass of champagne into the air in solidarity. He was attending the wrap party for Fairy Tail's latest series, in which Laxus was a main actor. The show was a high budget, large scale fantasy drama that had been on the air for years. It had managed to shake off the comparisons to Game of Thrones and was standing strong with its own passionate audience. It was one of Laxus' largest rolls, and he was proud of the show and what he had contributed to it.
Laxus had been relatively famous since he was young, thanks to his grandfather being a well-known producer. He had been the embodiment of spoiled celebrity kid, so his grandfather had ended up refusing to give him parts based off his behaviour. After years of getting smaller parts on crappy shows, he and his grandfather made up and Laxus got an audition for a small part in Fairy Tail.
His part sort of… exploded.
Originally he was just a war general. Not overly important, more of an antagonistic rival character for the protagonist to overcome. The character got peoples attention in the first season, so he got more screen time in season two. This came with a narrative arc focused around a member of the royal family, who his character had a rivalry with. People responded well to this, and both his character and the prince were promoted to the main cast from that point. It was the best roll that he had worked for himself, and he was proud of his work.
Although he couldn't claim all the credit. He wouldn't have gotten there without Freed.
Freed played the prince and had done so perfectly. The antagonistic rivalry between the two of them – ranging from butting heads on small things to full on fights – were some of the best acting Laxus had done. When together, they dominated any scene, and somehow had managed to get along well behind the scenes without difficulty, which apparently showed in their performances. One review claimed they had an electric, addictive chemistry together.
Even thinking of the man, Laxus looked towards him.
Freed was on the other side of the dance floor. He was speaking with Mirajane – one of the lead directors of the show – and looked amazing. Laxus rarely saw him in formalwear, as both their characters mainly wore ruined clothes and were covered in dirt and blood for their story this year, and to see him so clean cut was amazing. The blonde had forgotten how good his co-star looked in a suit, and now was a cruel reminder of the fact.
His attraction to the man wasn't ideal. Laxus wasn't insecure about his sexuality, he couldn't care less. But he and Freed had some scenes that put them in less than brilliant situations if one had a crush on the other. Lots of intense arguments where they ended up face to face, quite closely; occasional falling against each other in battle scenes in positions that were somewhat compromising; and on one occasion they had to bathe in a fairly small river beside one another. That was not Laxus' favourite scene to film.
Mirajane didn't help, insisting they needed a tighter shot and that they should get closer. She knew – Laxus wasn't sure how, but she knew.
But now, their work relationship was over. The season marked the end of Fairy Tail, and therefore he and Freed would no longer be working together. It was inevitable, and it wasn't as if they would never see each other again. But they weren't going to be spending most of their days together anymore. And that wasn't the nicest feeling in the world.
As if to contrast his melancholy, a burst of laughter filled the room.
Laxus looked to the source and saw most people watching a large screen, wherein Gildarts was waist deep in a decorative fountain, and Natsu was laughing madly at him for falling in. The blooper reel had begun then; Laxus hadn't realised. He shifted his seat so that he could better watch the screen – it was cheap entertainment, but funny.
For whatever reason, the editor had put the bloopers in order of plot lines. First all the clips containing Natsu and Lucy, the main characters; then the side plot surrounding Gajeel's character; then Levy's. As a clip of Jet stumbling over a line for the fifth time ended, Laxus had finished his drink and was picking at a plate of nachos that were on his table. The next clip was familiar to him – it was located in the castle set that he and Freed had done some of their scenes in. So it was time for their bloopers now.
The first few were fairly conventional. A side actor unable to get out a line, the camera operator accidentally walking backwards into a wall during a shot, and a few other small things put in there to fill in time.
When one scene started to play, Laxus rolled his eyes but grinned. He knew the clip, it was from a scene shared by both he and Freed, where their characters were arguing viciously. On cue, with their face's inches from each other, Laxus made the mistake that Freed still refused to let him live down. Saying Freed's actual name rather than his characters'.
The second Freed heard his own name, his face quickly turned from his character's anger to his own smugness. He raised his eyebrow, smirked, and Laxus' heartbeat increased. This happened both when they filmed the scene as well as when Laxus watched it back.
"Excuse me?" Freed had said, smirking as Laxus groaned.
"Shut up," The blonde grunted.
"No, I don't think I will," Freed continued, not stepping back from their close position. "Because Laxus Dreyar- my apologies. Award winning actor, Laxus Dreyar."
"You're such a dick," Laxus chuckled.
"Has forgotten the key principal of acting," Freed kept going. "That there's a little difference between actors and their characters."
Laxus watched as he pushed Freed's face away on the screen before the clips went to whatever the next blooper was. The blonde paid no mind to it, letting his gaze drift to Freed again, who was laughing as he watched the clips with everyone else. The light was hitting him just right and he looked practically angelic, and it left a dullness in his stomach. Even despite the music and the sound of the video, Laxus could basically hear the sound of Freed's velvet laugh. Maybe he was imagining it.
With a small sigh, he picked up the half-drunk beer he'd abandoned when the champagne had been handed out and stood up. He looked to Bickslow, who was sitting on the table with him.
"I'm gonna get some air."
"Sure," Bickslow smiled, and it was perhaps sympathetic. Bickslow was one of the few people Laxus had told about his attraction to Freed.
The blonde gave him a short nod and made his way out of the event room. He followed the signs to the fire exit and opened the door, walking out onto the metal balcony that made up the fire escape. He leant on it, cradling the beer in his hand and looking up at the sky. It was a cloudless night, meaning he had an unhindered view of the stars that hung above him. It looked pretty nice, even Laxus could admit.
Somewhat melodramatic though.
He drained his beer, a sense of sadness filling him. It was an odd feeling. Not only was he not going to see Freed as much as he would like, he was saying goodbye to the show. He'd been working on it for years, had gotten close to both the cast and crew, and it basically all over now. This hadn't happened in Laxus' career yet, and he didn't really know how to deal with it.
But, after draining his beer did nothing, he turned to the pack of cigarettes in his jacket pocket. A habit he really needed to stop.
"You do know the tabloids will destroy you if they find out you do this."
Laxus' head shot around at Freed's voice, and he saw the man walking towards him with a small smile on his face. Equal parts teasing and soft; an expression only Freed could manage to create. Laxus took a single drag of the cigarette before stubbing it out and flicking it into a drain; it was just rude to smoke in Freed's face.
"I barely have one a month, hardly news," Laxus shrugged, looking over the balcony again. Freed joined him, leaning against the railing beside him.
"I think the people who wrote the multiple articles about you in men's health would disagree," Freed chuckled, and Laxus flushed a little. He'd been forced to model for that magazine five times now, being on the front cover three times. "What's wrong, Laxus?"
There was no point in arguing, but he would anyway.
"Who says anything wrong?"
"There's an open bar which you've barely used. You've smoked, which you only do when you're either stressed or sad, and you're leaning on a railing in the middle of winter when you could be inside watching a video of your co-workers making asses out of themselves."
"Smartass," Laxus muttered.
"Yes," Freed agreed, and Laxus chuckled. "So, I ask again, what's wrong?"
"Just feeling a little shit, you know," Laxus sighed. "First time saying goodbye to something I actually cared about. Not really sure how to deal with it properly."
"I can understand that. It's not a pleasant prospect," Freed nodded a little, then looked towards him. "But we still have some time left. And I've no doubt you'll be redubbing your lines when it comes to ADR, because you still haven't learned not to mumble half of your lines."
"Fuck off," Laxus grinned, but didn't deny the claim. "But yeah, I guess so. Just won't be the same, though."
"In what way, exactly?" Freed asked, and Laxus sighed.
He wanted to tell Freed. Tell him that he was going to miss spending time with him. Wanted to tell him their time in makeup was a highlight of Laxus' days for months because they got to be themselves and have fun with each other. Wanted to tell him that if he had even a little bit more confidence that he would be taking him out to his favourite burger place or sushi bar or whatever right now on their first date. Of course he couldn't say all that, so he just shrugged.
Freed looked at him for a little while but didn't say anything. He looked over the balcony with a content expression on his features, and it took a lot of restraint on Laxus' part not to ogle him. Because he really was a handsome man; unfairly so.
"You know, given your fame for playing stoic characters," Freed began, seemingly out of nowhere. "You're awfully easy to read."
"What does that mean?" Laxus asked, a little cautious.
"It means I'm going to miss you too," Freed said, tone a little soft. He shifted slightly and Laxus could feel his forearm resting against Freed's. That must have been intentional. "But if you think I'm doing the press tour with anyone but you you're incredibly mistaken."
A sense of giddiness filled Laxus, and he blushed a little at the sensation. He smiled a little but continued to look forward.
"And what if I wanna do it with someone else?"
"Well they pair us up by storyline, so the only other people you could pair with would be Bickslow or Ever," Freed chuckled. "Could you handle spending days alone with them in an un-air-conditioned room answering the same question hundreds of times?"
"And you can make it more tolerable, huh?" Laxus nudged Freed with his shoulder. "How d'you plan on doing that?"
Freed seemed to think for a moment. "How willing are you to piss off your grandfather?"
"Spent most of my teenage years doing it, why?" Laxus asked with a frown.
"Because he explicitly told us not to do anything that might get us in the tabloids," Freed had a small smirk on his face, and Laxus couldn't help the small thrill that ran through him. "And, I imagine that this would make the papers eventually."
"You gonna flash the cameraman or something?" Laxus chuckled, and Freed laughed.
"Get me another beer and I'll consider it," Freed grinned. "But actually, I want to take you to dinner tomorrow night."
"To dinner?"
"As a date, Laxus," Freed clarified, now looking directly at Laxus. The blonde felt his heart stop at the words. "Because, as fun as it's been dancing around it, the fact is I like you. I had made enough excuses as to why I shouldn't ask you out, and I'm done with it. So, Mr Dreyar, would you like to attend a press tour with someone you've been on a date on?"
Laxus waited a moment, to process, before he grinned. "Fuck yeah I would."
"Good," Freed said, and he was smiling. No smirk or grin in sight, and it made Laxus warm inside. "Now, are you still planning on spending the rest of the night out here. Because if you are then I'll inevitably be the one tasked with brining your slice of cake to you and I don't think I have the energy to fend Natsu off while doing it so you might not get any."
"Wow, you ain't willing to fight a guy so I can have some cake huh? Maybe this date ain't a good idea," Laxus teased, and Freed laughed. When he spoke again, Laxus' voice was softer. "I'll go back in a minute, fucking boiling in there, and there's too many people."
"Of course. Take your time," Freed smiled.
Freed went to walk away, but Laxus felt a sudden burst of courage flow through him. He took Freed's hand in his own and intertwined their fingers, making Freed pause and look at him with a slight cock in his eyebrow. How he had that much control over his damn eyebrows Laxus still didn't know.
"Y'know, if I'm gonna piss off Gramps, I'm gonna do it right," Laxus said in explanation, standing up and facing Freed.
"Meaning?" Freed asked.
"Meaning this," Laxus grinned.
He tugged Freed towards him, so that they were chest to chest again. Freed grinned back at him, still with that cock in his eyebrow, and Laxus didn't say anything. He placed his hand on the back of Freed's neck and pulled him that little bit closer. He leant down and closed the distance between them both, bringing their lips together in their first kiss.
It was fucking electric, and Laxus found himself addicted within an instant.

It’s recap of the end of the year party time (with pics)! under the cut because I ramble a lot as usual.
First they gave us SKAM France pillows when we got there so we could sit as comfortably as possible on the floor of the venue. There were about 400 people and it was a tight fit! While we were waiting, they played songs from s3 and 4, everyone was already getting emotional.
The afternoon started with speeches from the execs and David as usual before getting the cast on stage - Assa, Coline, Lula, Maxence, Philippine, Théo, Léo, Robin, Gigi, Moussa, Edouard, Aliénor and later Laïs who was late - and then they showed us a tribute video with iconic scenes of season 3 and 4, in which they included tweets and fanarts by the fans, like testimonies, reactions, etc, everyone was a mess of tears after that.
Then David asked every member of the cast how had their lives changed because of Skam. I filmed this part, link to the video is in the source at the bottom of this post. David hadn’t warned them they would have to answer that question so they weren’t prepared and many got emotional - poor Maxence who went first was a mess. Niels finally got here so he was asked the same question, Antonio too and David answered his own question. A lot of thank yous were exchanged and I’m sorry not sorry about my sniffling in the background of the video but I can’t see people cry and not cry too. The overall message was that they are all proud of what they have done because they can see what an impact the series had just by seeing us in front of them half crying half smiling, as well as with the overwhelming amount of messages they’ve been receiving for months. I really loved what David said about refusing programs that don’t show diversity, that we should stand our ground on this and say no to programs with only white characters or straight couples. That they told one story, but we can and should tell all the others.
Then the crew was called on stage, Jérémy and the editing team to talk a bit, before they showed us the bloopers. That’s when I stopped filming, the room was in the dark anyway and you all saw the bloopers on Youtube by now. Assa tried to leave the stage completely and hide ahah. The cast hadn’t seen them before and there must have been some inside jokes going on because they would laugh WAY LOUDER than us at some stuff. Maxence got so shy about the “I’m ticklish Daviiid” part while everyone was so fond :’) there were a few fond headshakes at Axel’s laughing too.
Then we played a game, a fan would go against one member of the cast and the first to answer the question would win the point. The questions were about the 4 seasons and David called actors who weren’t necessarily in the season just to check if they had paid attention / watched it at all but we DESTROYED THEM. We won so easily, it was hilarious. They got 4 questions right first. The questions ranged from who was Emma dressed as at the halloween party in s1 to what day and exact time did the trailer for s3 dropped. Theo is the worst loser in history, Lula is SO COMPETITIVE, Moussa tried to intimidate the fan that went against him and Coline tried to take her mic, while Niels got his question right and literally jumped in the air, he scared me sdfghjklkj. I was really into it so I didn’t film. But here are a few pics - I haven’t posted them anywhere else so DO NOT repost them. Please.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then there was a little Q&A, questions were about if they had watched other remakes, why is Arthur’s ig on private and Maxence’s role in The House Of Gaunt - can’t believe there’s going to be a screening at the Grand Rex, I’m so fucking proud, this is HUGE!!!! I filmed parts of this too but not everything because it was questions we had heard before.
We took a lil break to drink and get a bit of fresh air after that before coming back inside. Laïs and Assa were on stage in the dark - keep in my mind we hadn’t seen Laïs before then so we were like ???? IS THAT LAIS?? When did he get here, what’s happening? - and they danced. Beautiful, adorable, show stopping, spectacular, emotional, out of this world. David teased Laïs for being late and asked him the same question about how Skam changed his life or not. I filmed all that.
David then called a fan on stage to share her story. Skam France saved her life. Really. It was extremely emotional. She was so strong, despite shaking so bad. We kept asking that they gave her a hug but David, Niels, Assa and Laïs who were on stage said they would hug her only once she was done talking. They wanted to let her say everything she had to say. Lots, lots of tears then. Niels took Assa under his arm because she was trying hard to keep it together for the fan’s sake. They gave her the biggest, tightest hug when she was done. I didn’t film because it was almost too personal, y’know? Sure she went on stage but her story still feels private, so I felt wrong about filming. I took a few pics though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then there was the concert! Coline was singing and playing the piano and guitar, while Léo and Edouard were playing the guitar and the bass. Lula and Gigi joined for the harmonies during Get Lucky and Remember. They sang Get Lucky by the Daft Punk, Fête de Trop by Eddy de Pretto (featured in s3), Unknown by Jacob Banks (featured in s4), Remember by Seinabo Sey and Jacob Banks (featured in s3) and an original song called Menthe à l’eau inspired by Demi Lovato’s overdose (Coline is a big fan). Most of the cast was standing/kneeling to the side of stage to watch and then you had Maxence right in the middle of the fans, hyping the crowd and jumping around. I didn’t film more than my ig stories because my hands were shaking too much but I’ve posted a few pics before, have some again
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then came the last goodbyes with everyone on stage, including cast and crew and I filmed all that. We were all holding our breaths for a potential announcement but they only said thank you, we love you, we’ll be in touch. I could barely hold my camera. And then Zina by Babylone, the music from the last clip of s4 started playing and Coline melted into Maxence arms crying, Assa was holding back tears, they all started hugging and then leaving the stage one by one, the lights went up and we all looked at each others like…  so this is it uh. We were not fairing very well, let me tell you. Fans were hugging and drying each other’s tears, I was hugged so tight by people I didn’t even know two months ago and it was just… It was a lot of love. So much love.
Before going outside, they gave us a poster signed by the cast. I stayed in the lobby a bit to look at the BTS pictures I posted before. There was a stand thingy where we could take pics with the Skam Logo and quotes. Maxence saw fans were taking pics there and just jumped in the middle to photobomb them azedfghjk
Tumblr media
We then went outside to talk with the cast and crew for a while but the security whisked them away quite quickly so we didn’t have that much time. We had maybe 30 minutes outside with everyone. I went around to take pics and thank them a last time. I’ve posted most of those already.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Niels, David, Jérémy, Coline, Robin, Moussa and Gigi stayed longer, I don’t know why the security didn’t asked them to leave. I had a chat with Jérémy that I want to share because it really struck me. He was wondering if it was true that Skam France was the only remake that does this kind of event. He was so surprised, because and I quote “but how can we not give back just a little bit when you give us so much? I’m just the editor, and you’re here talking with me.” According to him, it’s a feeling shared by everyone in the cast and crew, no matter their role on the show, fans are always happy to see them and talk and ask questions, and they are deeply appreciative of that. Not just the actor, but the crew too. He was extremely grateful and appreciative. And I loved that, because it’s so true, they don’t have to. I’m not saying they other remakes should do this. I’m seeing that I’m baffled the Skam France team considers this normal. They didn’t have to do all this, the screenings, the party. It was for us. Because they don’t know how to thank us.
I took the bus home while holding the pillow they gave us against my chest, not a care in the wolrd about who would see me. I was completely emotionally drained, but happy, and thankful for this amazing cast and crew, all the love that kept pouring out of everywhere during the afternoon. They gave us so much. I saw people on Tumblr and Twitter who were disappointed that they weren’t announcements or more bts content but… this was a party for the fans, a way to celebrate the success of seasons 3 and 4, the only way they found to tell us thank you. It wasn’t a press conference. It was magical. So many smiles. So much laughter. Such tight hugs. It was way more than enough for me.

Jinx | Jeff Wittek
Description: Jeff and y/n's relationship gets exposed in the back of a vlog.
Requested?: yes by @obesionoffandoms and anonymous : could you do a imagine of have just a really pure/ fluffy relationship with jeff! (y/n being his gf) it could be them being cute in the back of david’s and then whatever you can come with! - thanks😊
i saw a while back that someone wanted another jeff & y/n being exposed and i think itd be brilliant if you did one where theyre caught in the back of a vlog and nobody realizes until say like davids editing
A/N: im sorry this was so short omg all my stuff is short recently i feel bad about it
_____
"Matt, you better stay away from us tonight." Y/n jokingly pointed at him, causing him to fein a shocked expression.
"And why is that?" He asked and followed her outside.
"You expose everyone's relationships on your Insta story, and Jeff and I have actually done a good job of hiding our relationship, so we don't want you to ruin that." She smiled at Matt as she climbed into the Tesla and sat next to Jeff.
The party was fun. Y/n and Jeff danced on eachother and drank and made out, all the usual stuff. Matt deleted a video where they could be seen in the background, and other than that, nothing went wrong. Back at David's, the couple was very intoxicated and all they wanted to do was cuddle. They laid on one end of the couch, Jeff was the big spoon.
"I'm honestly shocked we've been able to keep it a secret this long." Y/n said to her boyfriend as he snuggled into her neck.
"Shhhh, you're gonna jinx it." He teased her. She glanced around, looking for cameras, none could be seen so she relaxed and rolled to face Jeff.
"Do you think we should tell them?" She ran her hand through his hair. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment before squeezing her tight.
"No, you're my 'lil secret." His lips made their way to her neck and quickly found the sweet spot he knew so well.
"Why do you guys have to do that on my couch?" David walked past them into the kitchen.
"Hey, I'm just laying here." Y/n acted innocent as Jeff continued to give her a love bite. David rolled his eyes as he sat down on the other end of the couch to edit.
"Can we sleep here? I'm too lazy to get an uber." Jeff asked Dave when he came up for air. David raised his eyebrows and looked at the couple.
"Yeah, as long as you don't go further than kissing." He joked. The couple grabbed some blankets and before long y/n fell asleep on Jeff's chest. Jeff was almost asleep when a very drunk Zane came running out from the hallway dressed very tightly in Natalie's clothes.
"Zane, you're gonna rip my skirt!" Natalie chased after him and David turned on his camera.
David was fast asleep in his bed by the time the couple woke up. Y/n was up first and she checked her phone while still laying on Jeff. She checked Instagram first and noticed an abundance of extra comments on her recent photo.
so, you and jeff, huh?
how'd you get your start?
david exposed yall!!!
you and jeff are sooooo cuteee!!!
i think you can do better than jeff oof sorry
"Jeff." She attempted to wake him up as she switched to YouTube and clicked on David's new vlog. Her heart started to race as she watched the clips, some familiar and some not. She kept pausing and looking in the background for any sign of her and Jeff. Confusion set in as the credits started to flash, and then the little blooper clip at the end started.
Natalie chased Zane into the living room, and on the couch was y/n and Jeff all cuddled up and asleep on eachother. Y/n scrolled down into the comments and noticed that nine out of ten of them were about her and Jeff.
"Jeff, get up." She nudged him and watched him open his eyes.
"What?" He asked through a yawn. She rewinded the vlog and showed him the clip. "Oh, shit." He woke up a little bit more as he noticed them in the bottom of the frame. He took her phone out of her hands and scrolled down to the comments, just like she did.
"People are commenting all over my Instagram, too." Y/n informed him. He took out his own phone and opened Instagram, noticing all of his comments were about y/n.
He sat up and stretched. "Ima go kill David, you wanna come?"
"Hell yeah." She joked as she stood up. "Wait, let me pee first." She giggled and hurried into the bathroom. She washed her hands and they ran down the hall and burst into Dvaid's room. He was knocked out. "Aw, he looks like a little bunny!" She whispered as Jeff got closer to him.
"He's not a bunny, he's a dick." Jeff ripped the blanket off of David and shook him awake. "Aye, Dickhead!" Jeff scared David, causing him to jump up abruptly.
"What, what did I do?!" He screamed and scooted away from Jeff.
"You put a clip of me and y/n in your vlog."
"Shiiiit, I'm sorry." David wiped the sleep from his eyes. "I didn't even notice, but hey, at least you don't have to worry about telling people now." He looked for a positive as he started to cuddle up with his blankets again.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. We couldn't keep it a secret forever." Y/n grabbed Jeff's hand and started dragging him away from the bed. He playfully glared at her.
"I told you not to jinx it."

Looking Back at iCarly
In...5...4...3...2...
Tumblr media
Hello internet! This blog lives on, and so do I! My Nickelodeon heart still beats, and here I am in 2019, having recently finished re-watching iCarly…again. Admittedly, there is a part me still clinging to this fandom and I don’t think it will ever go away. So, I recently sat my grown ass adult-self down to re-watch the series, and I feel the desire to just talk about it.
Let’s preface everything with an acknowledgement to nostalgia and the impact it has on how we view things we enjoyed in the past. Nostalgia is typically viewed through rose colored lenses that disguise the truth about whatever it is we remember so fondly. I realize this, and fully acknowledge that nostalgia is probably the biggest reason for my enjoyment during this re-watch; but whether it was nostalgia or not, I have no shame in saying that I loved it. I loved every single second of it. Yeah it was a little cringey at first, (Honestly, that’s to be expected when looking back at shows like these with more mature eyes) but that feeling settled pretty fast, and it didn’t take long for me to fall right back in love with the show.
I love this show. I watched it frequently as a preteen into my teenage years (Around the ages of 11-15 I’d say). I watched until about Season 3 but I ended up falling off with it as I grew older; so I never saw anything from Season 4 onward during its initial run. Fast forward a few years later, and somewhere around 2013 an iCarly clip found its way into my YouTube suggestions. I don’t remember the specific clip, but it had something to do with Sam and Freddie (It may have been the elevator scene from iLove You). It caught my attention because I always remembered thinking that Sam and Freddie would end up together. Curiously enough, I clicked it, and that served as the impetus to make me watch the entire series. I watched it all, and I loved it. I loved it so much that I even made this blog dedicated to it, and other shows cut from the same cloth. I had my heart stolen by Sam and Freddie, and obsessed over the pairing like many others had done before me. I became so attached to the characters, and as corny as it sounds, I felt like they were my friends. I just loved it all. I was hooked, and the series known as iCarly ended up leaving a lasting impression on me. Going on that journey was such a blast; but like all good things, it eventually came to end. After a while I started using this blog less and less. I slowly stopped watching reruns of old Nickelodeon shows, and I eventually fell off completely. So now, we fast forward one more time and here we are in 2019, I have watched the series again, and it turns out that I still harbor that deep connection to it that I had before. The fandom still lives within me, and I’ve realized it will never go away. It is always going hold a place in heart.
Now that my long-winded introduction is over, let’s move on to talking about the show itself. Upon this most recent viewing of the series, I will say that in my humble opinion, the show peaks in Season 3. While I may love the series as a whole, I cannot deny that its glory days are definitely in its earlier years. During this re-watch, I noticed a subtle dip in the quality of show from Season 4 onward. It’s not like it falls off a cliff or anything, it was still very enjoyable, but it definitely felt like they were losing control. This trend continued in Season 5, and parlayed right into the final season as well. By the time you reach the end, it’s apparent they were desperate for ideas, or were just ready to move on. Again, it’s not awful, but it’s not firing on all cylinders like it was in the earlier seasons. There are a plethora of issues we could point to when discussing this, but I think the biggest culprit to the show’s decline in quality was the “ships.” That entire craze definitely had a negative impact on the series overall; even as a “Seddier,” I can admit that. I’ve actually previously, briefly discussed (Here) how I believe “shipping,” directly changed the original, intended story of Sam and Freddie; and I still believe that. The creative direction was undoubtedly influenced by the divide in the audience, and I don’t think that can be disputed. But regardless of the slight dip in quality, I will say that iCarly is still tremendous overall, and Seasons 4 through 6 still have their moments and some great episodes. Season 6 itself recovers wonderfully by the end, with the last five episodes of the series serving as a splendid return to form for the show.
iCarly was one of the most successful Nickelodeon shows for a reason…because it truly is great. In many ways it was a glimpse into the future when you think about the power of the internet and its ability to influence and create success nowadays. It capitalized on that ever growing popularity of the internet, and did so wonderfully. Who didn’t want to have their own version of the iCarly web show? Everyone did, it was the coolest concept. Couple that with the amazing cast they gathered to play the character’s we all came to love, and the show had a recipe for brilliance.
Let’s actually talk about casting on this show because it is absolutely tremendous…
Miranda wonderfully transitioned from the devious little sister, Megan, on Drake & Josh, to the lovable protagonist known as Carly, and she was perfect for the role. Carly is portrayed as the best friend that anyone could ever ask for, and Miranda fills that role so believably well. You truly feel that she cares deeply for all of her friends, and honestly, I think that’s just an extension of Miranda herself. All you have to do is listen to any of her fellow cast member’s talk about her, and it’s not hard to understand why she played Carly so well.
Then there is Jennette; what else can I say about Jennette McCurdy that I haven’t already gushed about on this blog? I adore her to pieces, and her on screen counterpart known as Sam Puckett, I adore even more. I’ve heard Jennette be critical of the show and the role she played, especially as she’s gotten older and distanced herself from the Nickelodeon bubble, but I honestly think she doesn’t give herself enough credit for pulling off Sam the way she did. There is nobody else they could have cast to play that role better than her. There are many layers to Sam Puckett, and while the show tends to shy away from truly fleshing that out, we still get glimpses of it throughout the series. It’s the biggest reason why I love Sam so much, and Jennette excellently captures that contrast within the character. Sam is a tough as they come, and rarely displays compassion or vulnerability, but underneath her rough exterior is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Much like that character, it often seems that there is a lot more than what’s displayed on the surface with Jennette as well, curiously enough. She herself, is somewhat of an enigma (which I plan on discussing one day as well). The character, and actor are very similar in that regard, and I think that’s why Sam was so great. For the purpose of comedy, Sam is a totally over-exaggerated character, and much more of a tomboy than Jennette is in real life, but beneath all the comedic hyperbole, there are some striking parallels between the character and the actor.
Of course, there is Nathan Kress, who played the role of Freddie, and did a splendid job capturing the loveable tech nerd Freddie was; especially in the earlier years. Nathan also deserves major props for continuing to pull the Freddie character off as time went on because let’s be honest, Nathan matured into quite the handsome young fella right in the midst of this show airing. It was funny juxtaposition to see him still have to portray Freddie, as Sam might say, a “nub,” when he very clearly wasn’t. So again, props to him because he still made it believable that Freddie was just a big dork who struggled with girls and whatnot despite his dapper, physical appearance.
Who doesn’t love Jerry Trainor? He comes across as the most fun person to be around, and I have to imagine that working with him is a total joy. All you have to do is watch the blooper episodes, iBloop and iBloop 2, and you can see just how much fun he makes the work environment for all of his fellow actors. He, as Spencer, is low key probably everyone’s favorite character. He was the perfect choice to portray Spencer, and while he does all the whacky humor and eccentric behavior perfectly, he also captures the moments where Spencer needs to be a responsible adult, arguably even better.
And last but not least, Noah Munck as Gibby. From starting as a reoccurring character with a strange quirk where he persistently took his shirt off , to transitioning into the main cast where announcing his own name in exaggerated fashion became a staple of the show, Noah took this peculiar character and brought him to life in the most entertaining way possible. To quote Gibby himself, Noah made the show, “a lot of fun,” and provided some of the best laughs in series.
I cannot say enough good things about iCarly. It is an all-timer as far as Nickelodeon shows are concerned, and those who were part of the fandom know just how special it was. I’ll forever hold it in my heart, and remember the joy it brought me whenever I “need a laugh, cheer, or random dance.”

Linkara’s Kamen Rider Fourze review
youtube
@atopfourthwall
REVIEW KITAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Hello, Channel Awesome fans! I am one of the many western representatives of this little fandom Mr. Lovhaug is about to encounter in the comments section of the video you see before you.
Now the first thought that some annoyed fans of his unfamiliar with KR might ask is…”Why this? This isn’t a comic!”
Ah, but a comic book creator is responsible for its inception, or in this case a manga creator: Shotaro Ishinomori. He was known for creating a lot of superheroes in Japan among other things. Plus, Kamen Rider has been adapted into superhero manga stories like Kamen Rider Spirits or Futo Detectives and its original incarnation’s main character was a manga drawing concept first before becoming a TV star.
And for those disappointed that Secret Origins Month was cut short, well this counts as an origin of a super hero, just one you are not familiar with. So ..you get three origins to heroes this year instead of four *shrugs* Plus, Lewis deserves a break and a honeymoon after all that non-stop work. :)
0:33-0:34: “Known for having an insect-like look” Hmm… fair enough. The core trait of a Kamen Rider is that they have detailed and round compounded eyes on the mask. (most of the time, some play with that aesthetic or drop it altogether). The original 15 Riders were themed after different insects and this bug theme carried over on and off again until Double. (OOO briefly brought it back with the Gatakiriba Combo). The producers, costume designers and staff also decided to play around with various costume themes aside from bugs like Oni, Japanese folklore with trains, a Vampire with a stylized pumpkin head, chimeras, wizards, video game genres ..and cars. This season’s hero as of late 2017, is organic things like animals fused with inorganic objects! (A Hawk mixed with a Gatling gun for example).
If one were to ask me personally about what the draw is, it is the slightly heavier focus on characters than fluff and a balancing stance on being as over the top and crazy as possible or having dramatic and quiet moments that invest you in what is going on….also crazy-awesome weapons and karate cyborgs and/or men in belt activated power suits who can stop/destroy evil by kicking and punching them really hard!  And bikes! Cannot forget the cool motorbikes!
Fun fact, the original Kamen Rider’s actor also played Segata Sanshiro!
0:57-1:02: “Patreon sponsors will get a KR: Dragon Knight review if they donate enough $$” Given the pattern I’ve seen so far based on this and the preceding Gokaiger review, odds are you are more likely to encounter/collide into a request for either another toku series from 2011-2012-2013 or an anniversary event of media like Gokaiger vs. Gavan or Ultraman Mebius. Am I the only one noticing that he has done anniversary seasons of different franchises and both are from 2011?
1:03-1:25 GAH! MASKED RIDER! *DEMONIC HISS* Yeah, some KR fans can agree this was a horrible mistake as Saban tried too hard to force Kamen Rider into a Power Rangers mold…which doesn’t work because there are tropes and elements that separate the two that cannot be removed to fit that format. Also the fact that KR was absent from TV for most of the ‘90s aside from clipshow specials and a 12 minute crossover with Ultraman in one said special. Using clips from the darker Shin Kamen Rider movie and the two movies directed by Keita Amemiya was just a hodgepodge mess when blended with Black RX.
1:26-1:28: Ah, Dragon Knight! A good series adaptation screwed over by 4Kids execs for those wondering why it was cancelled despite winning an Emmy.
1:43-1:53: Even Linkara dislikes Ferbus, the Jar-Jar of our fandom.
1:55-2:36: Four-Zay. It has to do with Japanese pronunciation of the “e” sound. Don’t feel bad about the complaints though, we are getting drama right now here about the correct pronunciation of the current secondary hero Kamen Rider Cross-Z. It is just one of the pitfalls of being fans or observers.
The reason for the space theme was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of man’s first flight into space, hence the astronaut motif of Fourze’s costume!
4:10-17: It’s a Space Station. Though it would be easier to identify as such if Sir Alec Guinness was present.
4:35-37: It is a kind of male cowlick pompadour, he is reflecting the style of a high school Yanki in popular Japanese fiction. But, unlike them, he isn’t a jerk. Also, I really like saying pompadour. Pompadour, pompadour! Pooom-paa-douuur!
4:50-58: “Better to be an idiot than a tool” I want that phrase on an arts and craftsy bathroom sign that you get at a flea market to hang on my wall.
4:59-5:30: I can accept you not liking the visuals and critiquing the opening but sorta liking it, that’s fine. But... this is our jam, so let’s crank it! Ladies and gents of the uninitiated to Kamen Rider, for your possible audio pleasure I give you...SWITCH ON! by Anna Tsuchiya! Woooooooo!
5:36-42: Don’t tempt fate man. Toei is a vicious beast when it comes to Kamen Rider related materials on the interwebs, ask Des or anyone in the toku community. Also since you mentioned the complaints about subbing: *Queen music* Another one gripes the subs, another one gripes the subs, and another logs on and another logs on. Another one gripes the subs! Hey, he’s trying to do a review, but another one gripes the subs!
... Sorry.  Also, fans, be thankful he took time out of his busy (and now married) life to even do this. He could have ignored the request to do a Rider series and gave you nothing...just sayin’.
5:43-50: heheheh....Setup.
6:19-29: aaaand pay off of a man surprised by a burger toy being in a show when he was only being sarcastic about one being there. This burger thing actually has some possible explanation behind it. See Kamen Rider had changed TV sponsors in the start of the 2010s. One of those new sponsors? The American fast food giant, McDonald’s. Yeah, as part of a deal with the toy company Bandai and TV Asahi, the mighty Golden Arches could sell Happy Meal Toys (or Happy Set toys as they are known in Japan) of Kamen Rider characters and promote Bandai’s Ganbaride and later Ganbarizing arcade game by handing out special collectible trading cards in the kids meal. The Foodroids, as the assorted mini bots are called, are all coincidentally based on McDonald’s food products like McNuggets, burgers, a milkshake, french fires and the Japan exclusive McHotDog Classic. Still, not as cool as the McMegazord or a Mr. T Holographic Trading Card.
6:45-48: “Always follow the nice one talking about friendship and stuff, that person will become an all powerful god or something.” Wait....is that a Madoka reference? Hehehehe...should I tell him?
7:16-22: Well, the idea is that Gen wants to be a good friend to everyone by reaching out to people and trying to help them, even if they won’t admit that they have problems. He’s just that nice of a guy. And...it works. There is an excellent article that the now defunct Comics Alliance did a while back on Fourze that explains it better.
7:41-55: Amanogawa High School (shortened to AGHS by some fans) is a Japanese education structured school but has an American high school aesthetic, especially with social cliques and the environment reflecting one.
(Minus the budget cuts and selfish parents and politicians refusing to pay more taxes to further improve learning and engage in creative activities, increase a teacher’s pay or failing to maintain the building and spending all the special education and tutoring money on a new football stadium)
8:01-05: That is the power of Koichi Sakamoto at work. Yes, THAT Koichi Sakamoto.
8:28-30: Powder-izer? Sounds like an Avon product, what is this... Powder-izer you speak of, stranger of our ways? I kid, I kid. I know that one’s going in the New year’s bloopers. Go easy on him folks, to err is human.
9:10-13: Yuki is useful at times and is a good friend, it depends on who’s writing the episodes how the characters act. Sometimes a Rider series can have up to four writers working on it, hence why some shows suffer in quality while others are more consistent.
9:53-10:00: “It’s a Bomb!” Ha!
10:24-26 Saw that coming a mile away...and still a good reference joke.
10:27-30: Fourze’s suit design is loosely based on another creation done by Shotaro Ishinomori, Skyzel from the Space Ironmen Kyodyne show of the mid 1970s. Fans of Lucky Star already know of that series thanks to the humorous karaoke of Konata singing the opening theme song. It took a bit of getting used to when fans first saw the suit, but most of us grew to love it!
13:07-17: That is Tomoko Nozama, a precious little cinnamon roll who is a geeky goth that is into the occult and urban legends. She will be an important thing later, but that comes past the point where he stops.
13:28-47: No surprise, this show is about the younger Millennials and the Japanese writers actually do research on subjects beforehand in some cases. Unlike the luddite schlock kings of tinseltown, who think com-pew-tors are magic boxes or write them as such thinking the audience is stupid.
14:05-08: *Driver.
14:24-30: Well, if that didn’t shock you, I know a scene in a little show called ToQger that will make you yearn for the days of seeing a bike go into space. Or a Shinkenger V-Cinema or even...Amazons.
14:40-46: Ah, legacy. The original plan for this series was that the kids would investigate the Kamen Riders and their legends and gain the powers of past Riders in switch form...which was turned down by execs due to Decade doing something like that a few years back. The idea in some ways was salvaged in expanded non-canon materials, Legend Rider toys and the Ganbaride game. Since Linkara went a bit fast on that shot, the Riders you see before you in the footage are Kamen Rider 1 (the first Rider if the number didn’t give that away), Super-1 (Rider #9 from 1980 and also astronaut themed like Fourze, only mixed with a hornet), Black RX (Evolved form of Kamen Rider Black from the late ‘80s) and Kuuga (first Kamen Rider of the new millennium) and a scanned newspaper photo clipping of Futo Tower’s destruction by the evil Kamen Rider Eternal from the Kamen Rider Double summer movie. (great film, check it out after you watch a bit of Double!)
14:50-53: Behold, the most Redbubbliest logo in our fandom!
16:40-44: *spits drink and laughs* Does....does he know what KR Ghost is? Even if he doesn’t, that is too surreal, given Ghost’s poor reception among some fans after a certain point punctuating the joke.
16:50-56: Well, Japanese Superheroes don’t really always go for the secret identity thing. It is admirable that they are willing to risk their own privacy and lives just to save someone. They don’t do the dumb thing some comic book heroes do where they have to choose between their secrecy or saving a life, they just suit up and go right to it! Plus, with such a large community of heroes with them or the confidence they can defeat their foes, risk of death is minimal in most cases unless a “defeat flag” is triggered.
18:30-34: Miu grows as a character, she does become a little nicer and realizes the value of true friends later.
19:05-08: Shun is a jerk at first, but there is a good reason for that involving his life at home.
Yeah, the fourth episode is a bit weak.
Happy you like Gentaro!
21:40-22:04: Well, it depends on the suit and Mr. Seiji Takaiwa’s direction by the film crew. Some fights are fastpaced, some slowly build and others fizzle out with a beatdown or curbstomp. I’d argue that it is more Gentaro being new to fighting in-suit as he later learns things like kick boxing, gets better at using his Astroswitches and mixing his fighting style with the use of his jetpack. Koichi Sakamoto did a good job on the out of suit fight action and the battles got more intense in the movies due to a higher budget.
All in all, a fun time for everyone! Now I did see the comments of those who were curious about where to start with Kamen Rider and I’ll answer with the usuals that most recommend: Black, Amazon, Kuuga, Den-O, Double, the original 1971 show, OOO, Ex-Aid, Drive and Gaim.
Before leaving this post, I have something to personally say to Mr. Lovhaug and the KR fandom will agree this is a good choice…
Tumblr media
That quote from Mr. Belt is useful when somebody ties the knot!
Count up your sins and make amends. Believe in hope and your friends. Let the desires of a bright tomorrow, overcome every sorrow, and may you love each other ‘til Diend!
May your love for Viga always be in top gear and your lives together burn bright!
The Kamen Rider Fans of the USA, UK, etc.
Thank you for your time Lewis and giving our heroes a moment in the spotlight! We are grateful!

Honest Spoiler-free Ninjago Movie Review from a Big Fan
a.k.a myself :P
Also I TRIED to keep this as spoiler free as possible, as in no major plot details, but I still vaguely describe scenes of the movie so keep that in mind before reading!
The first thing I want to mention is that yes, there are live action scenes at the beginning and end BUT they do not interfere with the story. My problem with the Lego Movie is that everything ends up being controlled by the humans and that kinda distresses me out and lose connection to the characters feeling real ;; Lego Ninjago Movie did not have this problem, so that's a big plus for me! The next thing is that, like many movies, some scenes from the trailers weren't in the movie at all and a lot of others were altered. But that's fine.
Ok, onto the main points of the review! This movie mainly excels in fight cinematography, the soundtrack, and the emotion. Expect a good amount of fast-paced action, but also some of the most tender, tear-jerking emotion ever. This movie has more feels than the Lego Movie and Lego Batman Movie in my opinion, even though it’s less concerned with humor (it’s still super funny but places action and emotion as priorities). The family and relationship related feels are mega powerful, somehow provoking more emotion than the tragic-toned sad parts of the previous two lego movies. There aren't really many high school scenes (in fact, I think we already saw all of them in the clips and trailers) but we do go through a few cool and unique settings! Another thing to point out is that this is a Lloyd-centric story, focusing on the relationship between Lloyd and his dad. The other ninjas don't get much development, but the movie still does its job of making the characters appealing enough to draw attention to the main Ninjago franchise. So, even though none of the ninjas besides Lloyd get a chance to shine in the movie, I think that was intentional so people can check out the series to learn more about the other characters. From this movie you can tell that Lloyd really cares about his team. I won't go too much into detail because this is intended to be a spoiler free review but there is more than one scene where Lloyd sees his teammates in danger and you can see the DEVASTATION in his eyes. I know I already said this but this movie does even better at tugging at your heartstrings than the other Lego movies in my opinion. There are feel-good scenes of the team working together and Lloyd encouraging them, which I think would really delight Ninjago fans. Most of the interactions in this movie are between Lloyd and Garmadon, and though they’re super touching and important to the film, I think the blooper reel and Behind the Bricks have more satisfying interactions among the team itself. The movie has great themes of forgiveness and appreciation for people in your life. I think it does its job of pleasing already-existing Ninjago fans, intriguing newcomers, and conveying it's family-built messages. The movie really makes you feel. It really makes you care about the characters. It has its share humor, action, adventure, and emotion. So to sum it up, if you like awesome action and family feels, this is the movie for you! As a Ninjago fan I can honestly say I absolutely LOVED it, ranking above the Lego Batman Movie now. I think I can see why a non-Ninjago fan would prefer the Lego Batman Movie due to it being more hilarious and having a more detailed plot, but Ninjago fans? You're in for a real treat that will surely leave you feeling good in the end... especially if you like Lloyd! It has similar tones to the show I think; being about action, featuring a lot of feels, but still having the humor of a comedy.

It’s a Love is Blind family reunion!
A post shared by Love is Blind (@loveisblindnetflix) on Mar 6, 2020 at 1:20pm PST
The couples aren’t in the pods anymore and things got REAL…fast during the “Love Is Blind” reunion show.
Along with Lauren & Cameron, co-stars Amber Pike and Matt Barnett (known as Barnett on the show) also tied the knot. However, there was drama leading up to the alter. Jessica Batten had the most cringeworthy storyline as she was seen throwing herself on Barnett in Mexico AFTER they both were engaged to someone else. She was super flirty with Barnett and kept asking him if he was SURE he picked the right woman.
On the show, Jessica tried to convince Amber that they were cool, but in all actuality, Jessica was after Amber’s man – which Amber wasn’t fully aware of during filming. However, after watching the series, Amber saw how Jessica was doing THE MOST, so she didn’t waste any time to CHECK her during the reunion show.
"You're so fake, coming to my face like we were cool,” Amber said to Jessica. “You were engaged to another man that you were leading on. I think you are a very disingenuous person and I hope, seeing this, you do grow from it, because this is not what the world needs, women who go behind people's back like that."
Where’s the lie? Peep the fiery clip below:

Honestly, she deserved every bit of this.
Jessica offered up an apology to both Amber and Barnett for her actions. She blamed her actions on having a history of going after men that are not available. She also apologized to her ex-fiancé Mark Cuevas. Jessica decided at the wedding NOT to marry him. Peep her apology below:

On the show, Barnett got caught up in a love triangle between three women, but he ultimately chose Amber as his wife. During his time in the pods, he did casually tell Jessica he would propose to her and that's where things got messy because Jessica went back and told Amber what he said. At the reunion, he said he threw out the "I want to marry you" statement to gauge how the ladies would respond, however, he didn't actually mean he was going to propose and he regrets Jessica took it that way.
After the show aired, Amber and Barnett were on the brink of divorce. Amber admitted that they're both really stubborn and headstrong individuals, so they've hit some rough patches in their marriage. At one point, it got so bad, Amber sought out a divorce lawyer because they didn't meet each other's expectations of marriage.
"There was one point where we almost broke up because we had such expectations out of what we wanted out of a husband and wife," Amber explained. "We knew we were married and we knew we were in love, but also we were still learning each other."
She also revealed one of their main issues was the fact that she wasn't working and had to be "financially dependent" on Barnett.

Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers didn't get married on the show after Damian called it off at the wedding. BUT, they've since reconciled. Gigi admitted it hurt like hell when Damian said he didn't want to get married at the alter, but said it was the best decision for them. Peep the clip above.

Carlton Morton faced his ex-fiancee Diamond on the reunion show, following their explosive fight in Mexico after Carlton revealed he was a bisexual man. The fight went viral and started several conversations and hashtags on the Internet. Both Carlton and Diamond admitted they have been receiving death threats on social media. Diamond said she's hurt that people would attack her so viciously when her goal that day was to get more understanding.
By the end of their segment, Carlton got down on one knee and offered Diamond the engagement he originally gave to her as a symbol of their friendship. Huh? (You'll recall, he threw it in the pool during their argument in Mexico, so he had to go back and get it). Diamond accepted and said they both can move on as friends. She's better than us. Peep the clip above.
By the way, Diamond said she's currently working on her PhD in Optometry. She graduated from Hampton University with a degree in biology.
In happier news, Lauren and Cameron revealed they now have a fur baby named Spark, which is symbolic of the "spark" that kicked off their relationship in the pods. So, what about kids? Lauren said they'll have kids "one day" with Cameron chiming in, "Hopefully soon."
Lauren said she was super nervous to introduce Cameron to her father as her fiance, especially since she had never introduced any of her boyfriends to him. Papa Speed and Cameron are doing good and are building their father-in-law/son-in-law relationship. The Hamiltons said they spent their first Thanksgiving with both of their families last year and it was incredible.
"It was just like WOW. It was such a beautiful moment," Lauren said.

Lucy Meets the Berles
S6;E1 ~ September 11, 1967
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis
Lucy needs to earn extra money, so she takes a job working as a secretary for Milton Berle.  When Lucy hears overhears Berle rehearsing a love scene with Ruta Lee, she jumps to the conclusion that he is being unfaithful to his wife.
Regular Cast
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball (Lucy Carmichael), Mary Jane Croft (Mary Jane Lewis)
Roy Roberts (Mr. Cheever) and Gale Gordon (Theodore J. Mooney), do not appear in this episode, although Gordon does receive screen credit at the start of the episode.
Guest Cast
Tumblr media
Milton Berle (Himself) was born Milton Berlinger in New York City on July 12, 1908. He started performing at the age of five. He perfected his comedy in vaudeville, early silent films, and then on radio, before taking his act to the small screen, where he would be proclaimed “Mr. Television” and later “Uncle Miltie.” He hosted “Texaco Star Theater” on NBC from 1948 to 1956. The variety show was re-titled "The Milton Berle Show” in 1954 when Texaco dropped their sponsorship. The program was briefly revived in 1958, but lasted only one season. In 1959 he played himself in “Milton Berle Hides out at the Ricardos.” Berle continued to perform live, in films, and on television specials for the remainder of his career. One of his classic bits was to dress in drag, something only hinted at in this episode. Berle previously appeared on "The Lucy Show” in “Lucy Saves Milton Berle” (S4;E13) and did a cameo in “Lucy Meets John Wayne” (S5;E10).  He also did two episodes of “Here’s Lucy.” On all but one, he again played himself. He died of colon cancer in 2002.
Tumblr media
Ruth Berle (Herself) was born in 1921 as Ruth Cosgrove.  Her only other 'acting' credit was playing herself on a 1962 episode of “The Jack Benny Show.” She married Milton Berle in 1953 and the two were together until her death in 1989.  They had one child together.
Milton and Ruth are credited here as ‘Mr. and Mrs. Milton Berle.’ In “Lucy and Art Linkletter” (S4;E16) Doris Singleton played a character named Ruth Cosgrove.
Tumblr media
Ruta Lee (Herself) returns to the series after playing Audrey Fields in “Lucy's Substitute Secretary” (S5;E14).  She was born Ruta Mary Kilmonis in Montreal, Quebec. Her first big film was as one of the brides in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in 1954. She started on TV in 1950 and has continually made guest appearances on dozens of series. Lee also plays herself in the TV film “Lucy Moves to NBC” in 1980. As of this writing, Lee is still acting in films.
Tumblr media
This is the first episode of Season 6, the final season of “The Lucy Show.”  It is the last episode directed by Maury Thompson but was filmed on June 8, 1967 before the show went on hiatus.  During the break, Lucille Ball heard that Thompson wanted a raise and decided to dismiss him and bring back the show's original director, Jack Donohue.  Having made Desilu profitable again, Ball decided to sell Desilu to Paramount, dissolving the company by the end of 1967.
Tumblr media
In Season 6, Gary Morton (Lucy's husband) became Executive Producer of the show. The kaleidoscope opening was used once again, but the theme music was re-orchestrated.  Also the 'glamour shot' (above) of Ball at the end of the opening is a different clip than Season 5.
Tumblr media
This episode was screened at Lucy’s 2008 Birthday Celebration in Jamestown as part of “An Evening with Ruta Lee.” Lee talked about her work with Ball and shared anecdotes about the episode. Lee first met Lucille Ball at Del Mar Racetrack. They bonded over their love of polka dots! In 1974, Lee presented Ball with the Thalians Philanthropy Award for her support of mental health awareness, the first female every to receive the recognition.
Tumblr media
The same evening this episode first aired (September 11, 1967) NBC broadcast “The Danny Thomas Wonderful World of Burlesque IV.”  In addition to Thomas, the variety show featured “Lucy Show” guest stars Tennessee Ernie Ford, Mickey Rooney, and Phil Silvers. The second edition of “The Wonderful World of Burlesque” in December 1965 featured Lucille Ball.
Due to the cancellation of “Mr. Terrific,” “The Lucy Show's” new lead-in was “Gunsmoke,” one of CBS's biggest and longest running hits.
Tumblr media
The evening also saw the premiere of “The Carol Burnett Show” on CBS. Burnett had previously made two appearances on “The Lucy Show” as Carol Bradford.  The premiere episode of Burnett's now-iconic variety show guest starred Jim Nabors, who had done a cameo appearance as Gomer Pyle in “Lucy Gets Caught Up in the Draft” (S5;E9).  Lucille Ball herself would make four appearances on the show, one during each of its first four seasons.
Tumblr media
On September 10, 1967 CBS censored Pete Seegar's anti-war song “Waist Deep in the Big Muddy” during “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.”  The network claimed the lyrics were an insult to President Johnson.  Lucille Ball had also had her run-ins with the CBS censors during “I Love Lucy.”  They asked that the writers find euphemisms for the word “pregnant” and once edited down a closing kiss between Lucy and Ricky that they claimed went on too long to be in good taste.
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball gets entrance applause in scene two, indicating that the episode may have been shot out of sequence.
Tumblr media
Lucy says to Mary Jane that Milton Berle doesn't have his television show any more and is now producing pictures. Berle started on TV on NBC in 1948 with “Texaco Star Theatre” which continued to 1956.  In 1958 he hosted “The Kraft Music Hall starring Milton Berle” (also on NBC) which ran until 1959. It was at this point that Berle appeared as himself on “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” writing a book (Earthquake, a real-life novel) because he no longer had a series to film. In 1966, Berle attempted a prime-time TV comeback with a new comedy-variety series on ABC. Unfortunately, high budgets and big-name guest stars couldn't lure viewers away from competing shows and the program was canceled after one season.  Berle never had a regular series again. When this episode of “The Lucy Show” was filmed in June 1967 Berle had been absent from weekly TV for just 5 months.
Tumblr media
Lucille does her impression of a seal again.  This is something that Ball started in her road show with Desi Arnaz before “I Love Lucy” and then repeated on the show itself as 'The Professor'.  She most recently did it (with real seals) in “Lucy at Marineland” (S4;E1).
Berle says that the director of the movie he is producing, The Friendly Sky, is named Lou Jackson.  In real life that is the name of Berle's agent.
Tumblr media
Milton: Do you understand, Ruth dear, I want to grow.
Ruth: Then you ought to stop smoking.
Milton (an inveterate cigar smoker) is referring to artistic growth, while Ruth is referring to the dangers of smoking. Although there is little concrete evidence that smoking stunts growth, the claim has been around a long time.  The US Surgeon General issued its first report on the dangers of smoking in 1964.  In 1965, Congress required all cigarette packages distributed in the United States to carry a health warning.
Tumblr media
Berle and his director want Robert Wagner to play the philandering pilot in The Friendly Sky. Wagner's screen acting career began in 1950.  Three weeks after this episode first aired, Wagner's new film  Banner premiered.  The film wasn't in general release, however, until December 1967. In January 1968 Wagner appeared with Berle on “The Joey Bishop Show,” which also featured Desi Arnaz.
Callbacks!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Confusion caused by a conversation overheard on an open intercom is the basis for the plot of  “Housewarming” (ILL S6;E23), a 1957 episode of “I Love Lucy.”
Blooper Alerts!
Tumblr media
Two seasons earlier, Lucy Carmichael also met Milton Berle for the first time in "Lucy Saves Milton Berle” (S4;E13).  The writers obviously did not think audiences would remember (or care) that Lucy had met the TV star previously. The earlier episode also featured Mary Jane Croft and was directed by Maury Thompson.
Tumblr media
Berle calls his new project The Friendly Sky, but the title on the scripts is The Friendly Skies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Lucy dumps the salad on Milton Berle's head, Ruta Lee cracks up so badly she's unable to say her lines. Ruth Berle also finds herself laughing uncontrollably.  Lucy (the consummate professional) is the only one who doesn't start laughing.

“Lucy Meets the Berles” rates 4 Paper Hearts out of 5

she just does it because she likes you
@monkshoodr: Mike makes a hilarious blooper at first base and Ginny won’t let him live it down
Listen, mike’s not the only one who can be juvenile.
Read it on ao3
“That was number two on this week’s Not Top Ten, now let’s see number one.”
Ginny stifled a giggle, though she knew exactly what was coming next. She’d already watched the clip ten times. She could practically recite it word-for-word.
“Game two of the Padres-Diamondbacks series, Mike Lawson out at first manages to snag a line drive, only for the ball to fall right out of his glove. As if that’s not bad enough, he loses track of where it goes! Watch him turn around twice looking for it!”
A new voice cut in, clearly trying not to break on air. “Unfortunately, his feet do his glove’s work. The veteran catcher trips on the ball and goes down hard. Thankfully the play ended before he could hurt himself much more.”
She watched as Mike on the screen flipped the ball to Sonny covering first, all without climbing to his feet. He sat in the dirt for a few moments before making his way upright again. The camera panned to the dugout, where it caught Ginny practically doubled over in laughter.
One of the SportsCenter announcers pointed her out.
“Looks like we’re not the only ones enjoying this play. That’s Ginny Baker, Mike Lawson’s teammate, finding the humor in the situation.”
The voices buzzed for a few more moments before cutting out, but Ginny was too busy remembering the way her sides had ached, that was how hard seeing Mike stunned in the dirt had made her laugh, to notice.
When he’d come back into the dugout, she couldn’t help but stare at the dust caked to his ass. That quickly led to several not-so-idle thoughts about whether or not he was hurt and what it would be like to kiss him bett—Nope. Not going there.
Off-balance, she’d blurted, “You break a hip out there, old man?”
Salvi had snorted and Dusty offered her a fist bump, which Ginny took gleefully.
Mike just rolled his eyes, as he stashed his glove in favor of his batting helmet. “Hilarious, Baker,” he tossed over his shoulder before climbing out of the dugout again. He was on deck.
The fact that his next hit was a smash deep over the right center wall meant most everyone forgave and forgot the error.
Not Ginny, though.
She asked Eliot to look out for any tweets about the error, and sent all the good ones straight to Mike’s official account. Ginny wasn’t sure that he checked it that often, but it’d be a nice surprise when he got around to it. She even pinned a tweet with a gif of Mike endlessly turning in confusion, like a dog chasing his tail, to the top of her feed. Every time she saw it there, she’d giggle and make sure to show it to Mike again. He, inevitably, would just roll his eyes and try to change the subject.
Now, more than a week later, Ginny’s still left a King Size Butterfinger in his locker every day. Mike’s played first a couple of times since without incident, but Ginny made sure she ribbed him every single game.
She got fewer laughs from the guys every time, but it felt good to tease Mike again. Felt good to even talk to him at all.
Things had been... weird this season. Stilted and awkward.
To be fair, she knew exactly why things were stilted and awkward. She wasn’t stupid. But Ginny’d found it was much easier not to talk about it if she didn’t think about it, either.
But of course, trying not to think about something only guaranteed that it would be on her mind. Like all the damn time. Every other thought, it seemed, Ginny had to yank herself out of before it could lead her down a dangerous path.
Which certainly didn’t make things any less awkward. She felt completely out of step with Mike and knew it was only a matter of time before other people started to notice.
Before it could come to that, though, Ginny made a discovery.
Laughing at Mike, making fun of the stupid errors he made out at first, made it much easier to focus on him as her teammate rather than some ridiculous, hypothetical... something.
Better to be breathless with laughter than with wanting what she couldn’t have.
So, Ginny had reason to be in a good mood. She could finally look Mike in the eye again and things were slowly inching back towards normalcy. Maybe they’d be able to have an actual conversation in the near future without Ginny needing to either A) say something teasingly mean to distract herself or B) run away rather than do something very very stupid.
She was feeling so pleased with herself that she didn’t even notice Blip’s presence at her dressing room door.
“Are you watching that SportsCenter clip again?”
Ginny shoved her phone in her pocket and whirled to face him. “No.”
It wasn’t really a lie. She wasn’t watching it anymore.
“You need to lay off him, it’s getting old and it’s starting to bug him.”
Ginny frowned. Mike’s reaction to her teasing hadn’t really changed since she first busted a gut laughing at him. He’d roll his eyes or flick the brim of her cap, but didn’t bother responding much beyond that.
Which. Now that she thought about it, was weird in and of itself. Mike Lawson passing up the chance for a smart-mouthed comment?
Last season, it would have been unimaginable.
Now, though...
“Mike’s a grown up,” she protested, more to silence the blooming doubt in her mind than in response to Blip. “If he couldn’t take a joke here or there, he wouldn’t have made it this far.”
“Yeah, a joke or two. But when your favorite teammate suddenly can’t stop ragging on you? That’s gotta be pretty hard to deal with.”
“I’m not Lawson’s favorite.”
Blip looked at her as if she’d suddenly sprouted a third arm. “I know it must be hard for you to see a world where I am not everyone’s favorite,” he said, laying a hand dramatically against his heart, “but you’re clearly his favorite, Ginny.”
“No, I’m not!” she insisted, though she wasn’t sure why it was so important that Blip agree with her.
Maybe because it was much harder to not think about things with the added knowledge that she and Mike were each other’s favorites.
Blip’s eyes narrowed, and Ginny had the irrational fear that he could read every single racing thought in her head. It wasn’t fair that in return, he had such a good poker face. She had no clue what was going on in that brain of his, just that he probably knew too much for his (and her) own good.
Finally, he sighed. “You know how when you were a kid and you saw a little boy chasing after a little girl, trying to pull on her pigtails?”
“Yeah,” she replied, in the dark as to where this was going.
“And you know how everyone always said it was just because the boy had a crush on the girl and didn’t know how to tell her?”
She nodded, mortification setting in as she realized what Blip was driving at.
Of course, he couldn’t just leave it up to her to figure out. No, he had to be crystal clear.
“Stop pulling Mike’s pigtails, Ginny. You’re not being subtle."
A semi-hysterical giggle threatened to well up at the thought of Mike with pigtails, but she managed to keep it together. Still, Blip gave her one last significant look before leaving her in peace.
She thought she’d been so slick, but if anyone was going to figure her out it would have been Blip. Out of everyone on the team, he definitely knew her best and probably held that honor for Lawson, too. It didn’t help that he loved a good mystery and was too observant for his own good. Ginny buried her face in her hands At least he had the decency to tell her in private and she knew without a doubt he wouldn’t spill what he knew to anyone else.
(Well, almost anyone, Ginny realized not five minutes later as her phone buzzed with a bombardment of over-excited text messages before lighting up with a call when she didn’t respond fast enough.
After all, a smart man didn’t keep secrets from his wife.)

Song of the Week
Let’s do it!
Honorable Mentions:
Shout out to Thama for having one of my favorite indie artists on a track that seems as off beat as some his earlier stuff in presentation. While the style of Do It For Love is a little bit too chill for me on the whole, Thama sounds solid, and george . . . frankly he could just show up and I would be happy, but it is nice to also have him sound great. And if the style of artists like Heize and Dean is something you are drawn to, I bet you will like this too.
The more I see of the previews for mnet’s newest competition show, the more it looks like good tv. Because, regardless of how the Produce stuff was run, and all of it’s issues, it was almost always great tv (once you got past some of the jarring cuts). I-LAND released another version of the into track after last week’s IU version, and it again shows some of the show. And from the clips, it focuses on the relationships between the trainees way more than produce ever did, and the bond they should be making in the show. The video may be exactly the same (I didn’t actually check), but I like the image they seem to promoting with this one.  It even shows in the song, that is hopeful, and sweet in a way that the previous. Instead of a song desperately asking for the approval of the people, Into the I-LAND is about running towards a dream with friends at your side. If that ain’t inspiring, I’m not sure what is.
AN: I just saw a comment that they vote amongst themselves? I’m hard out if that is true. You don’t breed good relationships by promoting betrayal.
I was right last week, it is a fun era for Seventeen. While I don’t like this style from them as much, it still sounds like Seventeen in all the ways you want, and the whole video seems like they are having a great time (y’all, I assume the bloopers of all the dancing with straight faces are great). Left & Right is never going to be a favorite for me, but I’ll probably have it stuck in my head for a lot of this summer.
Blackpink sounds like Blackpink. If you like their music, you will like How You Like That. I’m not really a fan, so it doesn’t hit for me. I’m obviously not part of the majority though, with 67 million views in 19 hours. And I’m not here to come for anyones taste. We all like what we like, this just isn’t it for me, which I was mostly expecting, since I haven’t liked them all that much before (except Boombayah, love me some debut blackpink).
The intro of Golden Child’s ONE is the only thing in the track I’m actually struggling with, because it has the harsh, raspy synth at its loudest point in the whole song. And while intellectually I love the contrast to the much sweeter vocals, in reality it is a bit too harsh for me. I do like that it feels like a continuation of the influences they have had more recently, namely Infinite, with orchestration that actual has what sounds like orchestral instruments, mixed with synth pop. And it is a stroke of brilliance by their team to put out a track right as Kingdom is ending. I will have to give it a few more listens to see if I like it.
