p. 180 Miss Ulala's Changing Room
My Personal Favorites: The Sexy 7
Maybe this is a tad frivolous, but I compiled a list of my absolute favorites among the many outfits that I like. I hope that you'll enjoy this list.
Sexy 1: Total Darkness Miss Ulala Head-to-toe in crocodile leather, it's Total Darkness Miss Ulala. Her hair looks so cool in black.
Sexy 2: Camo Miss Ulala She looks strong but still has that dreamy look. I like the way she poses, so smooth and clean cut.

Sexy 3: School Days Miss Ulala There's a fad for wearing these kinds of outfits. It's not my thing, but she looks great, right?
Sexy 4: Sun Tan Miss Ulala It’s the just the Channel 5 uniform, but it’s a rare sight to see Miss Ulala so sun tanned.
Sexy 5: Shopping Miss Ulala Selected for its unique status as personal wear. Take a close look, there isn't a Channel 5 logo in sight.
Sexy 6: Refreshing Miss Ulala The blue and white stripes are refreshingly fresh. Looks cool and keeps her cool, too.
Sexy 7: China Girl Miss Ulala The China girl outfit! Ehem. It's perfect for Mahjong. Her hair looks so good, I like the way she styled it into buns.

~A Record of 120 Individuals Who Danced in Purge’s Master Plan to Make the Whole Galaxy Dance~
Concluding this book is a compilation of the known suspects and victims, interviewed by the officers assigned this case. Not all individuals who were abducted are listed, and, in some instances, details were added to the publication without permission. Rest assured, those indisputably involved in resolving the case are registered. Additionally, this book is an accumulation of testimonies from those involved. As such, we are confident in this book’s value as a historical document. It'll be a beneficial contribution to the Space Police Cultural Research Department's ever growing library, as requested by their history experts. –Pine
Mm, well, that’s all the profiles recorded. Below the registration number and the individual's name is the registration location, and below that is the text that appear on the profile screen. Then there’s the notes section. It works like this: you notice how the secret input note for character 002 says "(see 115)" at the end? That means you gotta check out character 115’s profile before character 002 will fess up the details. There are notes on how to receive certain outfits and items, too. Well, I'm outta here. –Texas

For the 11th anniversary of Project X Zone's NA release, today's useless PXZ fact is going to be a very special one.
I'm going to be talking about...licensing! I'm pretty sure you know where this is going.
That's right, I'll be talking about the songs from the first Project X Zone that were removed from the international releases due to licensing issues.
There are 10 songs that were removed from the international releases of Project X Zone, and here they all are:
Wing Wanderer (Opening theme)
Galaxy (Ending theme)
ROCKS (Super Robot Wars: Original Generation)
Over the Clouds (God Eater)
Ring a Bell (Tales of Vesperia)
Cathedral ~ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground (.hack//INFECTION)
Mexican Flyer (Space Channel 5)
If You Wish For It (Valkyria Chronicles III)
World's Love (Shining Force EXA)
High Rise to Hell (Die Hard Arcade)
First up are the original songs, Wing Wanderer and Galaxy, the former being the opening theme and the latter being the ending theme of Project X Zone.
Both were removed in the international releases, with Wing Wanderer being replaced with an instrumental song that suspiciously sounds like it, while Galaxy is replaced with a rendition of the opening theme from the international releases of PXZ.
The orchestral version of Wing Wanderer was also replaced for the same reason in the international releases.
ROCKS by JAM Project is the opening theme of Super Robot Wars: Original Generations, a remake of the first two OG games.
In Project X Zone, ROCKS would play during the 2nd half of chapter 27, as well as in Haken and Kaguya's multi-target attack.
In the international releases, ROCKS was removed and instead, the main theme of Endless Frontier, which is In the Land Beyond Endless "Time", would play in the 2nd half of chapter 27 as well as in Haken and Kaguya's multi-target attack.
Over the Clouds is the opening theme song of the first God Eater game, and it was remixed in Project X Zone for Soma and Alisa's special attack, which is appropriately called Over the Clouds. The song also plays during their multi-target attacks.
The song was completely removed in the international releases and as a result, Endless Erosion would play in their special and multi-target attacks instead.
Aside from that, but the song God and Man -Shall We Meet Again-, the theme song of Lindow both in God Eater and Project X Zone, became one of Soma and Alisa's theme songs in the game.
Ring a Bell is the main theme of Tales of Vesperia, and is one of the theme songs of the Yuri and Estelle in Project X Zone.
In the international releases, their theme songs are Fury Sparks and The Cold Morning Star Passes By instead, with the former song also playing during their special attack and the latter song also playing during their multi-target attack.
This was completely averted in the sequel, Project X Zone 2, as Ring a Bell was kept in the game's international releases.
The Cathedral theme from the first .hack game is the song that would play whenever Aura would show up in Project X Zone, but that was removed in the international releases. So whenever Aura appeared, Stairs of Time, .hack//LINK's theme song, as well as Kite and BlackRose's theme song in Project X Zone, would play instead.
Like with Ring a Bell, this was also averted in Project X Zone 2, as the Cathedral theme has been kept in that game too.
Mexican Flyer serves as Ulala's theme song in this game. It's the song that plays in the first level of Space Channel 5.
In the international releases, it's been replaced by Coco Tapioca's theme song.
And just like with Ring a Bell and the Cathedral theme, this was also averted in PXZ2, as Mexican Flyer was kept in the international releases.
If You Wish For It is the opening theme song of Valkyria Chronicles III. In Project X Zone, it serves as Kurt and Riela's main theme.
In the international releases, it was replaced with the Valkyria Chronicles theme song, Valkyria's Awakening. It also serves as the theme song of their special and multi-target attacks.
Their other theme song is Open Fire! which is also Imca's theme both in Valkyria Chronicles III and Project X Zone.
World's Love is the opening theme song of Shining Force EXA, and also Toma and Cyrille's theme song in Project X Zone.
In the international releases, their theme song instead is Hope, the hub world song in their home game, Shining Force EXA.
And lastly, High Rise to Hell, the song that plays from Die Hard Arcade, which is obviously based on the Die Hard film.
Obviously, this was removed in the international releases to avoid any sort of association with the Die Hard franchise.
That's also the reason why Bruno's design got changed in the international releases of Project X Zone, so he wouldn't resemble John McClane, the main protagonist of Die Hard, who is portrayed by Bruce Willis.
This would mean that Bruno no longer resembled John, and to an extent, Bruce Willis.
Now as for Bruce's theme song in the international releases of Project X Zone, his theme song is now a remix of one of the songs from Dynamite Cop, the game where he came from.
His theme song in Project X Zone is now Poop Deck Pursuit. I kid you not, that's the actual name of the song.
And that's the end of the thread! Well that was a lot to unpack. I have nothing else to say except...happy 11th anniversary to Project X Zone's NA release ❤
I'll be celebrating again this October, because the game will actually turn 12 years old this year!

1, 2, 13, 16 for the gaming asks :3c
HI MALEX :D
ask 1 ive got answered for brostateexam on some that he sent me, this is what I wrote
1. Last game you finished
i am like pretty sure it was dark souls. ive been playing a Bunch of stuff on and off for the past 3 or 4 months but dark souls was one that i stuck to and i beat it with my caster character naomi in like early march
2. Game(s) you’re currently playing
ok oh god. okay i SAID i was playing a bunch of games on and off but truthfully i have Started a bunch of games and have not finished them and my heart isn't too set on touching back on them. some im ok with that and others i feel like i should get back to them
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (JP) [dead/i should get back to it]
i stopped playing this in like late february and i definitely want to start playing it again. it has been more constructive for me for practicing japanese because it is just a bit less dense than other games like path of radiance. i think i like only finished the first little arc though LOL in the forest w the caterpillar boss
Super Mario Galaxy (JP) [dead/i should get back to it]
i got pretty far here! i think ive 100%ed everything up to the bedroom. there's not much i can say about what ive practiced with this game besides it was a nice refresher/maintainer; there's furigana for the kanji and all the characters speak in unique ways that are still digestible
Dark Souls (again. as a cleric) [dead/its ok i got like more than halfway through so it'll be fun to pick up again whenever i do]
after i beat the game with naomi i like immediately started another file as my cleric madeline. its been really fun with her and ive been enjoying using ultra great swords/lightning magic with her. iiiii got the lordvessel and i saved the cleric in the tomb of the giants, and i made it to the ash lake and the painted world for the first time this playthrough
Sonic Riders (JP) [dead/its ok i unlocked aiai&nights&ulala]
it is very very interesting playing japanese sonic because some of the characters have like very different personalities. sonic is more like, Cool Dependable Upstanding guy who like shouts stuff in english sometimes (ALL RIIGHT/Hey !), where I feel like english sonic is a little bit more of an rascal
amy is like a LOT more "cute". like english amy is like scary and Her Own Girl but jp amy is just like more sweet (for the record i feel like english amy is a lot more engaging and fun (I love lisa ortiz amy))
WAVE is like SO interesting, i feel like english wave is so bitchy and mean (love and respect to her all the same) and jp wave is still Mean but she's so much more cordial and polite, she's kind of like a gentleman about it and still offers respect to the people she speaks to
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic [dead/IM SAD ABOUT IT BUT I CANT DO ANYTHING]
i had been playing it for joey and he was Loving it and i was loving it too because i just love that game, but after i saved bastila the game started like crashing non stop. i did some troubleshooting/research and it turns out discord streaming and kotor just Do Not mix well. we had to give it up and im so sad. i had a demolitions/security dual wielding blade girl named DYNA BLASTER and she failed every single speech skill check
Stardew Valley [alive]
me and joey have been touching on this with our collective farm the past few weeks. its hard because his work and where he lives tires him out so bad, so he just needs to sit back and rest more than he can play games with me, but were in the beginning of the summer right now and things are going well. i am like being a spreadsheet farmer making max profits while he's got his strong variety of crops at his place so we can actually complete the bundles. we didn't realize we had access to the mines until the end of spring though LOL
Valkyria Chronicles [alive]
I will have joey fall asleep to me playing games and after kotor stopped working this is what i picked up. i like this game a lot, a lot of the uh.. the voice acting can annoy me (SOMETIMES i really like it) and how lightheartedly the game depicts war and racism irks me, but i love love love love how the game plays. its fire emblem but you're down On The Field doing the work and its very engaging
13. Quick, name the first song from a game that comes to mind
oh fuck ok well the first thing that came to mind was the metroid prime theme LOL
16. A game you’d like to replay that you haven’t
oh oh oh omg??????? I wanna replay crash bandicoot 2??!!!! i played it all the time as a kid when we still had our playstation like 1999-2001 and i remember the girl with her tiger and there was like a level with hot air balloons. i have slowly been building more and more motivation to get to it and this is like doin smth. time to add another game to the currently playing list
THANK YOU BRO bitch im gonna send u some........

Here's a headcanon for you. I'm planning on making a bigger post about this, but here's the idea to digest: Ulala herself has actually been affected by the Dancing Beam all this time.
THIS IS REVOLUTIONARY...
ive always thought it was interesting/suspicious that she was able to convince ppl who she Just rescued from being dance hypnotized to Keep dancing, for the sake of making her station look hip and fun, when like... idk theyre on vacation and have plans?? or were at WORK?? WHY DOES THE CAPTAIN OF THE GALAXY LINER LEAVE THE COCKPIT WITH HIS WHOLE ASS STAFF LIKE THEY NEED TO FLY THAT SHIP... why does the space tour guide go with ulala??? the list goes on. its shady. at the end of the day i dont trust channel 5 and i think the game goes above and beyond to make you think theyre cool and fun bc it is a story specifically from their point of view [literally, youre watching a broadcast of theirs,] so that you dont question how frequently theyre the villains of the series. if blank or fuse [or uhh *squints at notes* Mr Gentle ...] were influencing ulala in some way to make her more of their cute fun spokesperson i wouldnt be surprised for one minute

A procedurally generated oneshot selfship fic (with some changes on my part)!
What was it that brought them together, to be united in this perfect love?
It started on that day, when she had found herself facing great despair, desperately in need of a savior. That savior came in the form of Ulala, who comforted her from what pain she could and promised to stay by her side through the rest. From then on, they were inseparable. They shared every part of their life with each other. That was how it was to this very day.
Yes. She often reflected upon that day with fondness. It was a day that had changed her life, after all.
Otogi, a spotless lady in the full bloom of youth, stood alone on the beach, gazing over the aquamarine water with her angelic multihued orbs. Her cinnamon hair danced lightly in the ocean breeze. She smiled to herself with anticipation, resting her cheek against one hand as she clacked the heels of her strawberry-red boots together. She wore a frilly coral dress with a wide bottom and puffy sleeves complemented by a pair of tights. Her bronze locks flowed out in pigtails from either side of her head, complementing her guileless fair, russet-tinted visage. For a moment, she absorbed herself in these thoughts, of her, and Ulala.
"Otogi," Ulala said simply with an admiring look-over and a beaming grin. Her sapphire eyes complimented her cherry-blossom pink hair, tied in pigtails on either side of her head, belying her incorrigible heart. She was dressed in her own unique fashion, a style unlike that of anyone else Otogi knew. She had a toned but slender body covered with blush-colored-flushed milky skin. As Otogi drew nearer, she caught a note of Ulala's familiar perfume: a sweet, rich lavender. She smiled to herself. It always reminded her of the time they shared.
"Oh, your radiance! You came!" Otogi said breathlessly, reaching out to take her into an embrace. Color rose to Ulala's face as she returned her hug with awkward enthusiasm. With that, they began to walk along the beach.
The air was salty and warm, the sun sparkling bright and the waves foam-crested and royal blue, and yet Otogi could not let herself be happy. She wanted to reach for Ulala's steady hand, always a comfort, but it was her sadness -- who was she to burden Ulala with that? Although she tried to stop them, her lips trembled, gemstone orbs filling with unshed tears.
"What's wrong?" she asked. "You look so sad!"
She tried to smile, to show her that she was happy there, with her, but her peach-pink lips would not budge from their slight frown.
"I'm sorry," she lamented softly, ducking her head. Ulala's fingers, soft but gentle, tipped her chin up.
"Don't be!" she interjected worriedly, warm eyes searching out Otogi's own. "I don't ever want you to be sad! I know, I'll tell you a joke! A dragon rider, a mage, and a bard all walk into this bar..."
"Please," Otogi sighed. She shook her head violently, sending her hair whipping back and forth in the sea breeze. "No. I can't take it. You're so kind to me and so good and I ... and I..." She turned away as the tears came anew, spilling like pearls over her cheeks. Ulala was quiet for a moment. Her arms circled around her and Otogi let herself lean back against her strong, lean chest. She always felt safest when she was with Ulala.
"I don't want there to be anything between us," Ulala said softly. "I love you, Otogi."
"Oh, your radiance," she sighed adoringly. Otogi turned in her arms and caught Ulala's face between her delicate hands. For a long moment, all they did was gaze into each other's eyes, each filled to the brim with emotions unspoken, deeper than the ocean all around them.
After a few moments, they found themselves walking down the beach again. Something rose to the front of Otogi's mind -- something she had been trying to beat back all this time. It was so special to her to be with Ulala, and she didn't want to pass that time making them both feel horrible. But it just wouldn't leave her alone.
With concern, Ulala turned her resolute pools toward Otogi. "Otogi? What's wrong?"
"Ulala... it's..."
And at that moment everything came together, all of the magic and the hurt that had been building that day, and Ulala locked eyes with her and whispered, "You can tell me, space cat."
It was like a floodgate burst, or some barrier of fear had been struck down. Otogi shook her head and everything came out at once. "I keep thinking about her. You know, we... were together, in our own way.... I didn't want to talk about her all the time with you, Ulala. I want you to know... it's not the same. But, no matter what... when I think about her, it hurts, Ulala. She... isn't someone I'm going to forget."
Ulala listened silently and solemnly. At last, when all the words had left Otogi and she was at a loss for words, Ulala reached out to her and took a deep breath to whisper back, "Otogi... that's awful. It wish that weren't how it is. I wish I could say more. Otogi...." Otogi's eyes began to burn, and she abruptly pulled Ulala into a fierce embrace. Ulala's spheres widened at first, but then she too felt overwhelmed by emotion and succumbed to the warmth of Otogi's touch.
"You," Otogi whispered, her breath hot on Ulala's ear. "As long as you're here, I'll be all right." They held each other as tears trickled down cheeks and dripped onto the shifting sands to be carried away into the sea. With time and soothing embraces, their pain dissipated into a mist swept out by the ocean breeze and into the setting sun.
They basked in each other's quiet companionship for a few moments.
"Look... it's the sunset."
Otogi lifted her head at Ulala's words to behold the dying sun's flaming radiance. "How beautiful."
After a moment of silence, Ulala said quietly and seriously, "It's destiny, isn't it. Us, together."
Otogi clasped Ulala's soft hand and murmured in response, "A love this true must be fated to be."
Ulala brought their clasped hands to her lips. "As long as the world goes on, as long as time flows... we will be together."
Otogi sighed with contentment and brought Ulala closer. She gazed at the beautiful blonde rays of the falling sun, thinking about everything that had transpired on this day and all that would pass between them.
"I love you, Ulala."
"I love you too, Otogi."
Their lips met, and brunet strands met bubble-gum ones, aflame in the dying light. The sand was their witness and the rumbling ocean their approving audience, and Ulala, her eternally faithful lover. Otogi thought to herself that nothing could be more perfect in the world.

Most people would make a cast list. I make basically an outline.
The movie will begin to set up the setting. Since its in the future, you show off the location being futuristic. Then the aliens invade. They being to threaten and attack people (not force them to dance) and it ends with a close up to their face with static and a symbol flashing briefly over it. A rocket ship flies over it with someone worried about the female being in danger and the female being confident she can handle it. She jumps out of it, with a small camera robot following it. You hear music and someone saying “Ulala’s Swinging Report Show”.
This is where the intro and opening credits go. While that happens, the scene (I’m going for a vibe similar to GotG2 opening) where we see Ulala handle the aliens and save people. She’s going to be more action driven though her moves will me more rhythmic. Also the music will be Diegetic, Ulala hearing it via her headphones. This is because I wanted to add something to help bring the movie closer to the game: when she hears music she gets visions of the next action. So before they “shoot, shoot, shoot”, she’ll know when to counter attack them. Also, Ulala stuns them, not kills.
After the opening credits, we get to see Pudding. Through their dialogue they’ll explain that reporters in this world not only report the news but participate in it. But before Pudding could challenge Ulala to a Dance off, Coco★Tapioca appears and captures Pudding. So Ulala has to fight it and defeats it, saving Pudding who leaves in a scuff.
One thing I’m going to do that the game doesn’t is introduce the Station Chief Blank sooner. When Ulala returns to the station he’ll congratulate her on getting the ratings but Ulala will get a feeling something is wrong. This is because the Morolians act differently (and humorous) when not attacking. Blank allows her to investigate but warns her that the ratings are more important. Fuse I am also going to make him an AI. Since he’s never seen in game, I feel this would allow him the freedom to interact with Ulala via being the ship and the Camera Robot while keeping anonymity. It’ll be here that we see the flashback of 10 years ago when she was saved. This is because she fell asleep during the research.
She wakes up to find a signal on her computer. Its about the aliens that attacked. She takes the scoop and heads towards the Luxury Spacecraft G. On the ship she is confronted by Jaguar, a self-proclaimed space pirate that does more good than bad. But before he gives Ulala the information, he challenges her to a dance off. This is basically a hand to hand fight but two key differences: it is a lot more dancey than a typical fight and when they do a big move they create a gust of wind. Jaguar is defeated but is impressed. He thinks Ulala will find the truth and gives her the information.
Back at her office she looks at the information Jaguar found. She discovers that the Morolians are under some kind of mind control and a signal is behind it. Jaguar couldn’t figure it out but Fuse would be able to figure it out. Before Fuse could start, Blank enters to inform her that the Morolian Headquarters was discovered. Ulala feels what she’s doing is more important but Blank reminds her that the ratings are the only thing that matters now. So Ulala reluctantly goes, thinking at least she could break the mind control.
Its a race to get there as Ulala surfs the space waves to beat Pudding there. Jaguar and his gang is there helping people and fighting off the aliens. But as Ulala races, she noticed a little girl floating in space and no one noticing her. Ulala flashes back to when she was in that situation and goes to save her. Pudding is the first to be in the headquarters, but she is soon under the same mind control as the Morolians. When Ulala enters, Pudding makes her do a Dance Off, only guns are being used as well.
Since Ulala knew about the Mind Control, she came in prepare to stop it from effecting her. While she could easily defeat Pudding, she doesn’t want to hurt someone who isn’t herself. But every time she tries to take aim at the big screen, Pudding interrupts her. It gets worst as Morolians come in to help Pudding. But Jaguar and his robots comes in and gives Ulala the opening to destroy the TV, freeing everyone.
But it turns out there was a self-destruct bomb counting down. This whole thing was a trap. So moving as fast as they can they all escape the exploding headquarters. Its then Fuse reveals he was analyzing the signals and found it matched Space Channel 5. When they arrived to the location, it turns out there are still Morolians under mind control and fortifying the station. So Ulala, Jaguar, Pudding and Fuse sneak in to find what’s up.
Despite their sneaking, Blank reveals his master plan. He sent them there to die but since they came he figured that the ratings will skyrocket if his robotic Ulala can beat the real one. Another dance battle only guns are involved as well. Of course Ulala wins. But soon the entire station, with Evila in the center, create a giant robot. Ulala and the others try to fight it but it takes them out one by one until Ulala is the last one standing. Then Blank decides to turn off the music. Now without her precognition, she gets knocked off her platform.
Jaguar saves her, making her realize he was the one who saved her 10 years ago. With a second wind, Ulala fights again. But soon one of the Morolians begin to do acapella. And then more. Now with music, she can see the rhythm of the fight and make it to the center of the robot. Blank uses televisions instead of being in another dimension to hypnotize her. But she shoots the TVs to change into herself instead. All the while the ratings increase as people begin to watch her fight. They get so intense her precognition is infecting them, so they go along with her when she does so. Fuse hacks into the music and brings it back and with one final combined blast, they destroy the Robot and defeat Blank.
After reporting the news, they wonder who is going to run Space Channel 5 now that Blank has been kicked off. Ulala recommends Fuse. She also offers Pudding and Jaguar positions in Space Channel 5 but they refuse for their own reasons. And to lead to the end credits, an animated version of the cast walking down the end of the galaxy. It ends with a cliff hanger of one of Blank’s TVs landing close to the headquarters of someone named Purge.
And that’s how I would try to make Space Channel 5 into a movie. Basically covering the important stuff and adding a few things. Do you think it would be a good movie?

I can see the trailer now...
Rosalina is telling the same story to her Lumas, the one from Super Mario Galaxy, with Peach and Daisy also present.
But the Lumas aren't really paying attention, as a familiar tune is distracting them from the story.
Peach, Daisy and Rosalina all go see the source of the music, and then the Observatory is attacked by monsters.
Only for Ulala to show up and both fight and report what's going on!
ULALA REPORTS THE NEXT HEADLINE!
The trailer ends with her dancing with Peach, Daisy and Rosalina on Space Channel 5 live.
In the Smash Fandom they're all like Geno this, Sephiroth that and Sora here and there
But where in the god damn hell is the most expected character in all of gaming?
Ulala?

Space Channel 5 Part 2: Sugoku Sugoi Guide Book p. 160-169 (Translations by @lavoszero and myself. Edits and typesetting by myself)
Last part of Report 6 and the beginning of the bonus content.

p. 160 Noize's Evaluation: The Curtain Falls on the Rhythm Rogues' Attack
Whereabouts of the Blown-Away Purge Thanks to the Astrobeat Jr., I was able to watch, firsthand, as the dance energy of 86,429 individuals combined into something truly spectacular. But I wonder… what happened to Purge? I don't recall Ms. Pine arresting him… were you content with him being blasted away? I dunno. Looking at the lyrics, "All the whole wide galaxy dances for me; yes, I'll make each one of you very happy," maybe he really thought he was the good guy here. Near the end, I think he said something like, "I won't forget this!" Or maybe it was, "See you next week!" Honestly, I’m a lil' worried. Even Mr. Blank was able to covertly return, so…
Ms. Ulala Marching On Anyway, the last was really cool, wasn’t it. Just wow… The Super Ulala Dimension dance and melody was so powerful I could see and hear it from the outside, too. It felt like something straight out of “Ten Billion Days and One Hundred Billion Nights.” It was like a holy cosmic showdown! It really was… I wonder if the “power of love” did all that. To cap it all off, everyone joined in to do the Space Channel 5 pose. I was so relieved everything was finally over. After that, as you know, we marched away like it was a regal procession. I couldn’t just leave after Ms. Ulala cheered, “Let’s march to the ends of the galaxy!" so I ended marching about 24 more space kilometers.
That’s where the report itself ended. Ms. Ulala, though, she was still so full of energy, even after marching, that she went off to dance somewhere else (laughs). The day after that, my team had the day off. Not that we had much to do in the first place. By then, the incident became a huge story picked up by all the regular news shows, rather than special report teams. Despite the whole fiasco, the government didn't really give us anymore commendations, and everything soon went back to normal. Ms. Ulala is still being routinely scolded by Mr. Fuse. I don't think that will ever change.

When Mr. Fuse Returned Sometime after I landed the Astrobeat Jr. to watch Ulala and the other’s grand march, Mr. Fuse came down to join me. While we were watching, I said to him "Nice job, Mr. Fuse. I can't believe you're alright." I really thought he met a gruesome fate after the Astrobeat was blasted down. Apparently, he was able to escape unscathed due a number of factors (you can hear the details right outta Mr. Fuse's mouth on the soundtrack CD released on April 24, 2002). I guess it was a traumatic experience regardless, since he went to his usual drinking spot as soon the show was over.
What Did I Do Next? Right now, I'm being interviewed by the Space Police… I don't really mind, they're being nice. But after the incident, I had my hands full! I was involved in the major project to recover all the antennas that had been modified by Purge; it happens when you’re a Technical Development chief with deep connections in the industry. At least the huge dance floor Purge constructed made it easy for all of us to work simultaneously. After about three days, we finally finished and I returned to modifying microphones for Ulala to use while incognito. I made some that look like an ice cream cone, an ear of corn, and a couple of other things.

Report 6 & Repeat 6 Last but not least, here are the final instructions prepared by director Fuse for the live broadcast of "Ulala's Swingin' Report Show," presented in an easy-to-read fashion. Its contents show useful tips for succeeding on the secret input locations. Modifications made for the rerun broadcasts for "Ulala's Swingin' Report Show" (Reruns have unique features from the first airing) are also included. Note, the timing and locations of the secret inputs are exactly the same between the main (Lap 1) and rerun broadcasts (Lap 2).
The Hidden Inputs
[1~2] Return of Mexican Flyer It’s finally back, the last "Jan, Jan, Jaaaan!," featuring the fan-favorite second and third beat of "Mexican Flyer." After Report 2,"Mexican Flyer" took a long hiatus, but these "Jan, Jan" timings haven’t changed one bit! Let's go, all together now! "Jan, Jan, Jaaaan!"
Jan! Jan! Jaaan!

[3] Ulalaaa! U! La! La! Purge the Great had overwhelming power in the confined space of Dance Dimension X. Ulala skillfully dodged the volley of beams, but even she couldn’t outmaneuver an all-out attack, and fell unconscious. However, Ulala came to her senses once she heard the rhythm of her friends calling to her in her mind. But, there was only three seconds left before the Ballistic Groove Gun fired! That would've be the end of the report! What was your quote, Ulala? That's right, it was "when have I ever lost at dancing! Get the secret input "pikoon" right after "lost!"
When have I ever lost [beat] at dancing!
[When Ulala's face pops up, that's the signal that she's ready to shout. The ratings are almost at 200%, rise up and give it your all!]
Flub the Final Finale and Face the Staff Roll Be careful not to miss the final "Chu! Chu! Chu!" mixed in with all the hype. A few mistake here and there before then is fine—reasonable, even—but the ending of the game changes if you flub here. This ending is a not-so-special shortened staff roll against a pitch-black screen, devoid of President Peace’s song. Needless to say, there's no group "March to the End of the Galaxy" either. And on top of all that, Purge won't perform his last hurrah (an input that can increase your ratings by one percent) at the end of the credits! So, if you screw up right at the end, you'll have to redo the entire report again, no matter what! Try again!
[Here’s the rundown on the failure ending; Mexican Flyer plays and the credits roll by super fast. The ratings? 149% at the most.]
[Now, the successful ending. We get to march to the ends of the galaxy and you get to hear the full lyrics of President Peace's soulful song. You get the complete credits roll, too.]

~Tachibana, interviewing Space President Peace~ Hey, Texas here. The following is an interview conducted by Tachibana of Channel 01. But really, I’m sneakin' this in 'cause Piney, who was with me during this, was being so adorable and hilarious while we moved through the crowd. After the battle with Purge was over, the press started surrounding President Peace, so the president had to walk with Pine leading the way.
Pine: Attention, all members of the press, Space President Peace is very tired at the moment. Reporters, please get out of the way immediately. Reporter 66: Mr. President, a word please… Pine: Please, move out of the way! Reporter 59: Mr. President, do you have any comments… Pine: Get out of the way! (The press still are pouring in) Pine: I said outta the way! Tachibana: Excuse me, Mr. President, may I have a word? Pine, who's heart skips a beat: Oh my gosh! It's Tachi, (Pine's nickname for him), my ideal man, so full of reason and intelligence aaaah!) Pine: Alright (ba-dump), Tachibana from Channel 01, you may approach. Tachibana: Mr. Peace, I hope you're in good health. Peace: Thank you, I'm as healthy as I can be. Tachibana: Could you comment on the recent disturbance? Peace: I believe I can disclose this now, since the case has been successfully and safely resolved… That being said, please, don't hate Purge too much. I don't think his goal to make the galaxy happy was overtly malicious. I think it was just… over the top? He meant well, but went about it the wrong way. Tachibana: I see, thank you very much. Reporter 21: Mr. President, may we have a comment? Pine: Shut up! Tachi is still talking! Reporter 21: Oh, my apologizes… wait, "Tachi"…? Pine: … (I'm done for, I wanna run away). Tachibana: I can ask the question for you, if that's alright? Pine: Ah, alright. (Angrily turns to Reporter 21) Since Mr. Tachibana also asked, I'll allow you to do so, too. But please, limit it to just one question. Reporter 21: Right. Mr. President, what do you make of Ulala? Peace: When I saw the live report of the "Morolian Incident" I was honestly so moved. The fact there are still youngsters who can deeply inspire others, it reminded me that how much good is still in the universe. Disregarding my presidential status, I cannot help by appreciate the fact she saved so many people, including myself, who were under the influence of dance beam. However, I'm not judging her solely as a reporter, but her nature as a person. That is all. Reporter 21: Thank you very much. Pine: Mr. Tachibana, would you like to ask one more question? Tachibana: Yes. Mr. President, what are your thoughts on the current security? Pine: (ba-dump) Peace: Even though I was abducted, I was saved and guided to safety by Miss Pine here, so I think she gets a passing grade. Aha ha ha ha ha! Now then, if you'll excuse me. (Pine shakes Tachibana's hand and slips him a piece of paper) Tachibana: … A phone number??? Pine: (Tachi…)

Costumes Cleaning isn’t in Miss Ulala’s repertoire, so the burden of tidying up the Changing Room always falls on us. She'll swear she’ll pitch-in but she never follows through. It’s kinda irritating. Most outfits are returned as soon as the report ends, but some aren’t collected until a few hours after. So, it’s not unusual for some to go missing during that gap. Ulala’s Hearts: 17 Moving on to Fountain Square, ugh, there she is…This is where you start the guitar duel with Pudding from Channel 42. The hidden input spot is right when she introduces herself. She say's "It's me, Pudding." You have to time it right at the "it's" and you'll get it.
Pine’s Comment The newsflash mentions to press the down button to play the guitar, but really, any directional button will do. You can see this with Pudding, she uses up, left, and right to move around while playing the guitar. Honestly, there's no need to imitate her. It's all up to you, if you care about keeping up appearances or not.

Pudding: Good afternoon everybody, it's me Pudding! Peace: Good afternoon everybody. It's me Space President Peace~. Pudding: Hello, hello people. Let's start right away with the questions. You use your singing voice to spread happiness around the galaxy, but for what reason? Do you do it for the quid pro quo, or any other ambition in mind? Peace: No, no, not at all. I simply want to make the entire universe happy with my singing voice, that's the greatest reward I ever ask for. Pudding: Ooh, you know, you sound like a certain salesman from 500 years ago. Very similar. Peace: Ohohohoho! Speaking of sales, there’s manga out now that has my official President-Peace seal of approval (serious)." Pudding: Oh, is that so? But you're not that pushy and guilt-trippy about your merch, unlike certain salespeople. You're, like, the complete opposite. Peace: Ohohohoho! I guess that's what happens when you compare a president to a salesman. Pudding: By the way Mr. Peace, how did you get your singing voice? I heard it can "bring tears to even those with the coldest of hearts," how did you even train for that? Peace: How? Hohoho, I was born with this voice. Ah, but if I had to guess, I'd say the thought of 'being kind to people,' having that sort of drive, is what improved my singing. Other than that… it might be the result of me drinking so much space alkaline ionic water. Pudding: Last question. Mr. Peace, do you have a type? Peace: Ohohohoho! I belong to the whole universe, I can't dedicate myself to just one person. Regardless of gender, whether it's an insect, a flower, or plankton, everyone and everything is deserving of my love.

Singing
Ulala’s Stars: 7 Ulala, President Peace, and everyone else here joined together in a chorus. In our effort to save the galaxy, our song was projected across time and space. Purge's plan had finally run its course. The finale is almost here.

Pine’s Comment: I’m sure you already know, but you sing by pressing any of the direction inputs, not just down. Additionally, after Ulala says, “let’s go,” you can sing along using any button you like, provided that you can stay on beat. Match the vocals to the beat until the very end!
