So you know how Kishimoto said he was rooting for Kurama in the NarutoP99 poll?
And you ALSO know how Minato, who got first place, got his own one shot as a reward?
Having known this, does that mean Kishi had a short story in mind for Kurama had he won?
#I WOULD PAY SO MUCH MONEY#TO READ THIS#YOU DONT UNDERSTAND#KURAMA IS MY BOI#that’s my favorite grumpy fox#PLEASE KISHI#IM BEGGING#I NEED MORE TO COPE WITH HIS DEATH#naruto fandom#naruto#Kurama#naruto kurama#nine tails#kyuubi#naruto shippuden#just a thought

Among other things, I have a Chris Evans-related reason as to why it's taken me forever to finish What You Can See Now
I play The Sims and some things happened to my sim of Chris. Short version? I accidentally have DILF Chris Evans in my game. Cuteness below the cut.
It's a good sim, right?! He was made by Galyhawhaw. I miss his tattoos though. It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize he was missing the tattoos. I make tattoos for this game so I'm gonna see if I can fix that. Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna have to search for pick of Chris shirtless. It's a hardship, hehe. I'm not in love with this hairstyle either but I'm a fan of long-hair era Chris. You know cause it's best for activities that require hands to grasp things with passion. [Pauses for emphasis and stares at reader knowingly] I was honestly trying to not have this happen. If you don't play this game, the player can control almost everything. Especially with customer content and modifications created by other players added in. When I first put him in the game, he adopted a child (there is a story progression system for households you might not be playing). I, unfortunately, returned the child because he has no kids in real life. I almost unbaby'd the baby but I felt bad. I know it's just pixels and code but I use my game for writing inspo. Not that I'm gonna write about this. No, no do not expect a story about the reader finding out she is pregnant. I'm not doing it, hahaha. There are so many already! This is basically a throwaway save but come on. Is cuuuuuuuute! If you want the full details, check out this post on my other page. I wrote that post with you all in mind but I wrote it as a sims player. If you have questions feel free to ask.
Bonus photos of sim Chris and Dodger.
#chris evans#the sims 4#chris evans fandom#sims scenarios#sims screenshots#show us your story#i said this on my other page#its just pixels and code#if you have a problem with something here you need to move one#its just a game#its my game#its not yours#i will play it how i like#i will make my sims how i like#no one is forcing you#to like this#to read this#to agree with this#last thing#please just be nice to each other

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
#also theres no one good place to learn this generally ive picked up yhe knowledge by asking questions#or reading through catalogues. paying attention to the words used to describe clothing styles i like

bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental

"it's concerning if university students are genuinely struggling to read full adult-level books for class" and "don't overstate the reporting of a single news article" and "if this shift is genuinely real, it's reflective of broad curriculum changes in lower education levels, probably at least in part due to remote schooling during COVID, and doesn't mean the new generation is being willfully Stupid and Vapid" and "when reading for personal pleasure people should read whatever they like without shame" and "reading from a broad variety of genres, styles, and authorial backgrounds will improve your understanding of both literature and the real world" and "actively mocking people for their tastes in books does not encourage them to become more adventurous you're just being mean" and also "but seriously adult books are not just boringly pretentious nothingburgers padded with pointless sex scenes, and claiming they are just shows how little you've read" all can and should co-exist.
#reading#since that Atlantic article got shared i have been seeing the Worst takes over and over#and i am going to scream

wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???
Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.
First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.
#reading#writing#writblr#writeblr#isn't second person the one more likely to be projection#because it's involving you in the story#unless it's told in a more artistic way#like dislike a pov style if you want idc#I just don't understand this specific reason

There was a reviewer or commenter who said "I always keep track of how many mistakes the protagonist makes and after three, I stop reading the story and never look back".
I think about that person pretty frequently. We read for our own enjoyment, and therefore there's no wrong way to read a book so long as you're enjoying yourself, but ... maybe I don't actually believe that. Maybe there are wrong ways to read a book, and this guy found one.
