Used my limited graphic design skills to make a chart of all the characters Rosalie has romanced in (almost) every farming sim I've played with her. Lol I'd always wanted to do something like this and I'm pretty happy with the result.
I made a free to use template of it on the right if anyone else wants to show off who they romanced. Feel free to decorate/doo what you like with it- just link back here if you use it so other people can find it o/
Brainrot Below<3
Now, though many of these games involved premade mcs- I've played as some variation of Rosalie in games for as long as I could remember.
I noticed there's a trend that popped up in her choices that I think is as interesting as it is amusing. Ofc, most of these choices were just my personal favorite bachelors of that game, but they were still used to devlop her, and I hadn't realized how much she leaned towards certain professions, personalities, ect. I've concluded my girl loves a hardworking boy whose brooding but sweet- or a golden retriever Marlin: Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life was my first Farming Sim. I didn't get to play the female version until much later in life. So my choice of who'd I/Rosalie married had been pretty decided lonnng before I finally got to play it. But honestly even though I like Marlin, he's kind of the default choice because I didn't care for Rock and Gustafa- and Rosalie wouldn't either. I think if I had ever gotten to play HMDS:Cute I might have liked him more- or she would have married Griffin-
Blue | Harvest Moon: Magical Melody / Friends of Mineral Town: Loved Grey/Blue. (Let's face it their pretty much the same character). Upset the remake took away his hat. Little off topic, but even though character customization wouldn't be a thing in these games for years- I'd used to imagine my character had pink hair like Popuri LOL
Vaughn | Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands: Vaughn was the first time I ever was head over heels for a character in one of these games- I just adored everything about him and I don't think it's hard to see why. Once she got to know him better, Rosalie def would have been hella smitten for this cowboy- (Also Vaughn walked so Logan could run-)
Owen | Harvest Moon Animal Parade: So Owen is an unexpected deviation. Most of these choices are also my favorites, but when I first played through HM:AP Gil was actually my favorite bachelor. I could have made him and Rosalie work, but it just didn't feel right. So after looking them all over I think she def would have preferred Owen
Dylas | Rune Factory 4: One of my favorite games from the genre- and I think the cast of romanceable characters was STACKED. Dylas was my favorite because he was seriously SO damned cute in all his events 🥰 Also think it's kinda funny he's a horse guy and Rosalie has a lot of horse motifs herself-
Alex | Stardew Valley: REALLY unpopular opinion incoming! I've put over 500+ hrs into SV 😭 but in all that time, I've just never clicked with any of the characters. Which really sucks because this is the first game I ever got to play as Rosalie. Alex and Sam were my favs, but I think Rosalie would lean more towards Alex.
Logan | My Time At Sandrock: Logan 😍💖🥰Just, guh- I LOVE everything about him and MTAS so damn much. Especially because the hyper fixation I had with this game/character was what led me to finalize Rosalie's design/character at long last. I developed so much content for him and Rosalie I never got to share 😭hope I can someday!
Mark | Coral Island: God I love big men who love animals- and Rosalie does too. 💦🥰 Honestly, even though he started out as one of my favorites (later to be replaced by Shark man hoo hoo haw), I wished more of his heart events focused on his relationship with the player instead of the dog. It was really cute at first but like 6 of the 8 cutscenes were about it and most of the time he never even interacted with your character. Was disappointing ngl.
Nokk | Roots of Pacha: Now- Nokk is not currently a romanceable character, but I'm hoping the future update will add him to the roster. 🫠💔Cause this is another case where I LOVE the game to pieces but none of the characters speak to me- aside from the one I can't have- Hayden: Fields of Mistria: and last but not least- Hayden. He just completely encapsulates so much of what Rosalie finds attractive, it's a little funny. I'm waiting until the game is finished to continue playing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
The following will include some honorable mentions that I didn't include because I didn't have anymore room on my template/they weren't a farming sim/ect.
First up! Nathaniel from Sunhaven!<3 Feel like this responsible captain of the guard would work well with Rosalie. Honestly, there weren't really any choices that felt right for her, but for once in many years my main playthrough of the game ended up being with a different character and I had someone pre-picked out for her. So there lots of great choices, just none that suit Rosalie well.

There is no 'I' in Team
Summary: Based on this request.
Warnings: Panic Attack, Mentions of Abuse Father (reading also asking not to be hit etc)
A/N: I hope you like it.
Tumblr media
The media was relishing your appearance, every reporter had thrown your name out in whatever interview they were doing, you were in stories on the front cover of the news.
“The 14 year old power house” “Some of football's greatest legends have honoured this youngster” “Beckham: That kid is insane, a star”
______
“And she missed, straight over the crossbar. What a rare sight to see,”
“Yes, yes, yes, ohh, missed opportunity again, it went wide”
“Fantastic save by Mary Earps”
"Wide yet again. She has had 40 attempts this game and only 2 on target, both of which Earps has saved,"
Australia lost the world cup to England, you felt like it was your fault, the media decided it was your fault, you were still plastered all over the media, however in a different light this time.
"Has the wonder kid lost her Wonder?" "A gold medal gone, was Y/F/N Y/L/N the right choice?" "Wonder if Beckham still thinks she is a star"
After the game you were incredibly disappointed in yourself and upset, and angry with yourself, you really questioned whether you were the best player of the team, the night you recieved a silver medal at the world cup was not celebrated by you. You were upset and so was the rest of the team, however they all still celebrated, but how could you when you were the reason the heavy disc that hung round their necks was silver and not gold. You were the only one that night who still had tears of sadness falling from your eyes as you went up to collect your medal, you still had sad tears in your eyes as you arrived back to your hotel room. Most of your teammates had left the celebrations to talk to you and comfort you at some point during the night. starting with the obvious ones, Caitlin, then Steph, then Sam, and ending with the not so obvious pick, Kyra, you and Kyra were very close friends it was just that the girls didn't think she would be able to help you in the way you needed. You didn't say a single word to any of them, you just continued to cry, as you remained in your tight coil on the bed.
You didn't talk to anyone about football for months, or even just in general, you tried your best to avoid everyone, you couldn't kick the feeling of knowing you had disappointed them. After training you would just go straight up to your room and lock yourself in, only appearing for dinner. Katie and Caitlin your newly adoptive parents were growing concerned, and were trying to figure out how they could discuss what was going on with you.
______
The opening match for the season hadn't gone that well for you, your shots weren't going in, which made you frustrated and with every off target shot your frustration grew. You couldn't wait for the final whistle to be blown, you just wanted to get off the pitch.
You were near the commentators as the whistle was blown, you could hear their debrief and opinions on the game, the players, more specifically you “As a coach you would be starting to think about changing your go to line up, off days happen, but this, this is different, from being up there with the best of the best, to missing the most basic shots, the shots that should 100% go in. Shots that caused your country to come second.”
You felt your breath hitch at that moment, the reminder you were the reason you came second, the reminder of how you let down your team, your whole country. Suddenly you could feel every single beat of your heart, you could hear blood rushing past your ears, you ran down the tunnel through the locker room and into one of the bathroom stalls, quickly locking the door before sliding down the wall. Curling yourself in a tight ball, hiding yourself away from the world.
Your Dad’s words racing through your mind “You’re a let down, a failure. A complete waste of space.” You never believed him but maybe he was right, maybe the abusive bastard was actually correct, what if you were wrong, what if you didn’t deserve a new life. What if Katie and Caitlin didn’t actually want you, what if they weren’t actually proud of you, what if they were ashamed of you, what if you were a waste of their time, what if they hated you.
Out of the corner of your eye you saw someone standing near you. How did they get through the locked door? Were you so incredibly hopeless that you couldn't even lock a door? They took a step forward, and you felt your body start shaking slightly, coiling yourself into a tighter ball.
“Please don’t hit me, I’m sorry, I know I'm a waste of space.” you felt a hand on you, however it wasn’t a painful touch, it was a soft comforting hand, but you couldn't risk it, trying to move out of the grip of the persons hand, however soon they had both hands on you, slightly gripping onto you so you couldn’t move away.
“I’m sorry, I’ll do better, I’ll leave, I know you’re ashamed of me”
“Baby girl it's okay, it's just me, I’m safe, I’m not going to hit you, I love you, it’s okay, everything is alright,” They said in a very soft, calm voice as they moved you into their lap. A familiar scent met your nose it was Katie, you slightly relaxed at her presence, but quickly tensed again, what if she thought you were a burden, you felt like you were swaying, your head felt foggy, you felt sick, your body was shaking, your face was wet from your streaming tears.
You felt the hands wrap around you tighten, “I’ve got you, you’re okay, can you take some deep breaths for me? Like we practise.” You took some deep breaths. “Good Job,” you sat there with Katie for a few minutes.
“How about you have a shower and then we can talk. Okay?” you nod, “But just know that Caitlin and I love you so much, and we are very proud of you and we are so happy you came into our lives, and I promise that is not a lie” you stand up with her and give her a big hug before going to shower, you almost hated the way she knew what you were thinking, almost always. While you were showering no one came into the shower, which you thought was weird, until you walked out of the showers and saw everyone standing there huddled around Katie.
Katie noticed you were standing there. “You ready to talk?” you nodded slinkishly, “come here” she sat down and gestured for you to sit down on her lap, you willingly went over, and sat on her lap. Caitlin sat next to the both of you.
“What’s wrong?” Katie asked you “I’m not good enough”
“Why do you think that?” Caitlin queried.
“We lost the final because of me. And now we lost because I couldn't shoot,” you took a deep breath and paused for a moment “Maybe i shouldn't have become a footballer” you sad before a small sob left your body.
“Hey, we came second because of you, we wouldn’t have been in that match if it wasn’t for you. It doesn’t matter what they say, if you weren’t on our team we wouldn’t have been in that match.” Steph told you.
“You know, you are amazing kid, it’s okay to have off days, off weeks and off months, its okay, and it’s not fair for anyone but especially yourself to blame losses on yourself, its a team sport, we win as a team and we lose as a team” Leah told you and you just nodded your head, the whole team reassured you that you were still good and an excellent player even though you were having some off days, you had calmed down but the team stayed where they were for a little longer, to show you that they were there for you.
The team went off to shower eventually, but Katie did not, you just stayed sitting in her lap, soaking up her warm embrace. “What if we invited some of the girls over for a movie night tonight, would you like that? They could even sleep over.” You nodded your head.
That evening you found yourself surrounded by your teams as you watched a movie, they all really cared about you and supported you, so you made yourself a promise that you would start to try and open up to them more.

Prompt List
------------------------------------
Tumblr media
It was a normal day for Sam and Colby. They had posted a new video recently and were going through the comments.
The comments on this video, however, were particularly negative for no reason. They also seemed to be mostly targeted at Colby.
Needless to say, both boys were a bit upset and wanted comfort. Sam had Kat up in his room with him, but Colby's girlfriend Y/N was still at work. Seeing the state her own boyfriend was in, she could only imagine what state Colby was in, seeing as they were practically targeting him.
So, making a decision to help her friend, she sent Y/N an SOS text. This was a message that the girls of the trap house had started using when the boys were all still staying in the first traphouse. It was a message that said there was trouble and to get there ASAP. She got a response telling her her friend would be there soon.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Y/N walked into the dimly lit house. It was way too quiet for the people who lived there. Now she understood why she had received the SOS from Kat. She walked up to her boyfriends room, figuring out that's where she would find him. Her heart ached as she saw her boyfriend, Colby, slumped on the ofice chair by his desk. Colby had always been a strong and resilient person, he almost always had that beautiful contagious smile of his on his face, but today, the weight of negative comments on his and Sam's video had taken its toll, dragging him into a whirlpool of doubt and self-criticism. She had seen the comments on the video. She had been absolutely furious when they had attacked the boys who worked so hard to make content for the fans who they loved. She had been beyond furious when she saw the ones targeting her love personally.
She couldn't fathom how these people could be so cruel to a man who gave his everything to give them content that they would enjoy.
Seeing this man, the man she absolutely adored, the man who had unkowingly saved her life, like this, slouching in his chair with his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking ever so slightly, didn't just break her heart, it shattered it into millions of tiny pieces.
Y/N aproached him softly not wanting to startle him too much, she knew he had noticed her when he lifted his head ever so slightly. The look in his beautiful ocean blue eyes broke her heart even more. She gently brushed Colby's messy hair away from his forehead and placed a tender kiss on his temple. "I love you," she whispered softly, her voice permeating the air with soothing affection. Colby's breath hitched as he absorbed her words, the depth of her love washing over him like a healing balm. He leaned into her body and buried his head in her chest. She continued to very gently run her fingers through his hair.
"Those comments don't define you, Colby, and they cerainly don't come from all of your fans. Most of them love you boys and you know that." Y/N spoke, her voice steady yet filled with conviction. "You are talented, creative, and so loved by many—including me. Your worth isn't measured by the opinions of faceless strangers."
Her words resonated, and Colby's tense shoulders began to relax slightly. Y/N knew that while her words were a start, actions would speak louder than anything she could say. She took his hand in hers, entwining their fingers as a symbol of unwavering support.
Y/N gently pulled Colby up off his chair and guided him to lay down on the bed, propping pillows up behind his back for support. Tenderly, she covered him with a soft blanket, creating a cozy haven that shielded away the negativity and doubt that had plagued him all day.
She lay curled up next to him and gently ran her fingers through his hair. Eventually, his breathing started to even out, and soft snores started to come from his slightly parted lips.
She continued to watch over him, marveling in just how much love she had for this man. He was the love of her life, and she knew and had known for a while now that his was her person. This was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
She reached over and grabbed her phone. She texted Kat, asking her how Sam was doing. After hearing that the man she cared for as an older brother would be ok and was also asleep, she bid her sister in all but blood a good night put her phone back on the nightstand and cuddled into Colby's side. Falling asleep content in the knowledge that her boys were going to be ok.

His Sassy Girl
Tumblr media
A/N: I literally had like - dead - while writing this but WE GOT THERE! YEAH! My friend helped me with the idea, love them for that. I hope you enjoy!
Characters: Sam Winchester, Reader Y/N, Dean Winchester
Pairing: Sam Winchester X Reader
!Warnings!: Rude comments/remarks, alcohol, partying, vampires, blood, threats, abduction, unwanted sexual actions, angst, fluff, wounds/injuries, violence, mild but very sensual smut (Let me know if I missed anything!)
Summary: After meeting at a party, Sam doesn't take a liking to you. You on the other hand, were practically in love with the giant. However, after you and Sam had an argument you went missing. Sam and his brother both know it's the vampires to blame, the ones they've been hunting, but Sam can't help but feel responsible for your disappearance.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh my God, that was so funny!" Y/N laughed loudly. She was clearly drunk.. very drunk. She couldn't help herself though, she loved the party scene. Lived in it. She was well known and always - in her opinion - seemed to make things more fun.
Sam was sitting next to her, along with a few other friends across from her. Sam's friend sat next to him. It was loud, music playing in the background of their conversation.
Sam was glad to be back at Stanford, even if it was for a case, but he really did not miss the partying.. or the drinking. While Y/N and her friends chatted, he zoned out a bit.
She was loud, and rude to people for no reason. It really irked him. Within the few days of meeting her, introduced by his friend, Sam really disliked her. He just wasn't a part of her crowd.
"Sammy!" She hiccuped, "What are you thinking about, lover boy?" Her voice was loud and had an obnoxious amount of giggling that followed after it. His brows furrowed and he excused himself. "I gotta go. Early morning."
She turned to her friends and frowned after he left. "Did I say something?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple days later, Brady called him and asked to party with him and the "gang." He reluctantly agreed, making Dean tag along as a buffer. Dean agreed, of course. It was his crowd.
When they got there, Y/N pulled Sam aside. She was a lot more sober than usual, but still clearly drunk, and she seemed a bit antsy. "Did I do something to upset you?" She said quickly and Sam's brows quirked in confusion. "No..? Why are you asking." She groaned and rolled her eyes, "Because, Sammy-" Sam cut her off quickly, "Don't call me that." She nodded and continued. "Because, Sam, you don't like to be around me. Is it something I did or said? I don't get it."
Sam rubbed between his eyes for a moment, really not having the energy to deal with her. "Look, I don't like you. I mean, I'm sure you're great but you aren't somebody I like to be around." He was quick with the way he spoke and his eagerness to end the conversation was very annoying to her.
"What is your problem? I didn't do shit to you. I've been nothing but nice to you-" He cut her off again, not in the mood for her attitude. "Yeah, but you're not very nice to anyone else. Can we wrap this up please?"
She paused for a moment, her eyes started to cloud with tears. She laughed, more at herself than at him. Even when he was being rude he still said "please." She ran her fingers through her hair and bit her lip. "Yeah, fine. Go find some hot sorority chick to fuck." She waved her hand dismissively and turned to walk away.
Sam grabbed her wrist and turned her back to face him. "What's your problem? Why are you getting so worked up about this?" He genuinely was curious. He didn't understand why she was teary-eyed, nor why she was pissed off.
"Oh, I don't know Sam. Maybe because I really fucking like you and it's not just the tequila talking," She laughed, "I really like you and you don't like me at all because I'm a bitch." She said it all really quickly, then she sucked in a breath and her cheeks turned warm. "I have to go." She announced and then she was gone.
Sam was still standing there for a moment, wondering what the fuck just happened. She likes me?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning Sam received a few texts from Y/N. He frowned, feeling a bit bad about how the conversation went from the night before. The first text was long and explained how sorry she was. The next was her begging for him not to hate her and the last one confused him.
Six
He studied the message for a minute, trying to figure out what the hell it meant. He texted back, Hey, you alright? Now the message was green. All their brief messages before that had been blue, but now this one was green.
After talking with Dean about it, Dean barely agreed it was suspicious. "She's lovesick, she wants your attention. It's nothing weird." Dean explained, but Sam just couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. "Dean-" The older Winchester cut him off with a slight eye roll, "Save it, lets move on. Can we track down those damn vamps now?" The second Dean said it, they each looked at each other, realization flashing across both of their faces.
The fucking vampires.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
She woke up with a raging headache, like drums pounding against her forehead. She was tied to a metal pole with a rope that burned her skin. Her eyes squinted open and her vision was foggy. There was not much lighting, just a dim white overhead light that lit up a small section of the room. She looked around, trying to find something, anything that could help her.
Nothing.
Dammit, she thought to herself. She squirmed in the rope but froze up instantly when she heard a big metal door open. Two tall men emerged, one leaning against the wall and the other coming closer to her.
"You are just.." It inhaled and grinned, "Marvelous." She cringed and spat at it. "The fuck do you want?" Her face was quickly met with a hard slap and she seethed. "Oh, you're real friendly, huh." She croaked, her throat dry. The man from the wall got up and approached her. "I'd shut your mouth if you knew what was good for you." She scoffed and chuckled, "Where are your friends, huh? There were six of you before." Everything was happening so fast and she felt lightheaded, but she still continued speaking. "Cowards, huh. What do you even want from me anyway?"
They clearly didn't like her talking, because with one hard smack she was out. While she was unconscious they undressed her and left her almost completely exposed. She remained in her undergarments. They took a few pictures of her before an older vampire came in.
Thank God she wasn't awake.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When she regained consciousness she had fallen to the ground, her eyes just barely opening. "What the fuck.." She groaned as she scooted back towards a wall. She was alone and untied. She got up quickly, a sudden burst of adrenaline coursing through her body.
She managed her way out of the metal room and found a seemingly normal home outside of it. She heard commotion up the stairs so she quickly sneaked out the back door. Her head was still buzzing and it took all of her strength not to collapse. Once she was outside she hid behind the side of the building. She tried her best to regulate her breathing. Looking down at herself for the first time she finally realized how beat up she was. Cuts and bruises everywhere.
What evil fucks.. She thought.
Suddenly, a loud crash adverted her attention away from herself and towards the back door. "Shit.." She muttered. As she turned to run, two strong arms wrapped around her and she felt her breath disappear.
"You're okay, you're safe. I promise you, you're okay." The familiar voice whispered in her ear. "Sammy?" She breathed out. "Yeah, there you go. I got you, I'm here." He soothed and she broke down. She turned around and hugged him tight, releasing a flood of sobs into his shoulder. His hand rubbed up and down her back, his lips pressed into her hair as he calmed her down.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a few days since her rescue and Sam refused to leave her side. They hadn't spoken about her feelings towards him, but he listened when she vented about how scary it was. Something he thought was cute is how she tried to be positive about it. Make light of the situation.
"Now, I have a kickass party story." She giggled, wincing slightly. Each time she laughed her ribs ached. Sam quickly came over and sat by her. "You really should get more rest.." He tried to sound serious but he couldn't help it. Every time she smiled, he smiled.
"You need to let me heal on my own, mister." She teased, nudging his back with her knee. He turned so he was facing her a bit more and gently grabbed her knee, moving it back and forth to mock her nudge. She laughed and he did too. It was such a silly thing to laugh about, but neither of them really cared.
The two of them put on a movie after some time and Sam let her snuggle up next to him. He let her put on one of her cheesy chick-flicks and she was so ecstatic. She couldn't stop laughing at the jokes and he nudged her, laughing as well. "How do you find this funny? It's so corny!" He teased her, and that only made her laugh more. She was looking up at him and in a giggling fit, making him chuckle. "God, you're adorable." He said under his breath and shortly after, her laughing died down.
There was a silence between the two of them. She was looking up at him and he was looking down at her. Her cheeks were warm and he cleared his throat. "We should.. uh..." He said quietly, eyes not leaving hers. He was gonna suggest they finish the movie, but his words seemed to get lost. He turned his head away slightly and cleared his throat again.
"Sammy," She said softly and he turned back to face her. They were silent for a moment. Her eyes glistened slightly from the movie light and the darkness of the room contrasted her face perfectly. He was about to say something but his mind went blank.
Screw it, he thought to himself.
He leaned down and kissed her, one of his hands reaching up to cup her face. She was shocked but it wore off quickly. She kissed him back and he adjusted himself so he was on top of her, holding himself up with one arm as he praised her mouth.
"Sammy," She said, breaking the kiss. "Yes, beautiful?" He said, slightly out of breath. She smiled at him, just taking him in for a moment. "Would you want to.. maybe.." She motioned with her hands, making a circle with one and putting her other finger through it. He laughed at how ridiculous she was. "Use your words, love." He said with a smile and she felt her face flush. "Okay, that turned me on." She said quickly, and he laughed more. He captured her lips again and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Are you sure you want to?" He asked in between gentle kisses. She smiled and nodded, "Yeah, dummy." She giggled and kissed him again.
He was so addicting, his mouth, his tongue, his kisses. She wanted to just lay there forever but he broke the kiss and she pouted. "Don't pout at me, baby girl." He said with a smirk. He then got up and removed his shirt. He gestured for her to sit up and she just huffed, turning her head away. "Stubborn baby." He chuckled and tilted her face towards him. "Let me take care of you, sweetheart."
With that, she listened. He took off her shirt and then her sweat pants. He looked her up and down and 'tsked' in disappointment. A wave of insecurity rushed over her, but it was quickly washed away once he spoke. "I hate seeing you hurt." He sighed before climbing back on top of her, trailing gentle kissing up and down her body.
"Sammy, baby," She moaned out and he let out a quiet groan. Her hands found their way to his hair and she tugged it gently, earning quiet grunts of approval from Sam.
He kissed down her torso and thighs before coming back up and kissing her core through her panties. She rested her head back onto the pillows and let out a soft moan. He climbed in between her legs and removed her underwear, tossing them somewhere on the floor.
The second his mouth started moving on her, she was a goner. His tongue circled her clit and one of his fingers slowly made its way into her entrance. She gasped and moaned at the feeling. "Are you okay?" He murmured as he looked up at her. She nodded quickly and he kissed and gently nibbled her thigh, retreating from her center. "Use words, baby. I want to be sure you're alright." He said in a gentle but stern voice. She nodded, "Y-yes, I'm okay."
He smiled and continued to feast upon her. She felt so good. Sam was gentle yet so dominant with her and she loved it. She loved everything about him. His kindness, his strength, his brains.. She loved all of it.
She loved him.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
After they had finished, he cleaned her up and carried her to the bathroom. He had retreated to the bed as she did her business, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. When she came out he smiled and she immediately melted. She crawled into bed with him and he kissed her forehead.
"How ya feeling, love?" Sam asked. She didn't know if words could really formulate exactly how she was feeling, but she was too tired to say anything different. "I love you."
After a moment of no response, she worried if it was too soon. Hell, she knew it was soon but she considered with everything that happened that maybe timing wouldn't matter.
And she was right.
"I love you too, princess."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N: I don't know how I feel about this one now that I've finished it but ya know.. Whatever, someone out there will like it. :)
Thank you for reading!

Taking Sam to the mines
Shane
TW: none
Buckle up, because this is going to be quite a ride
In my opinion, he is probably going to do great, but only after a while. The poor man has to get used to the monsters first, because WTF NO ONE TOLD HIM THERE IS STUFF ATTACKING YOU DOWN IN THE MINES
Farmer: Why do you think I always bring a sword with me then?
Sam: To feel cool?!
Insists on accompanying you as soon as you tell him about this, because now he can't let you go by yourself at all. Sam is simply too worried to just sit around and wait for your return. That also means that you can't go to the mines when he's at work and such.
You tried going once without him and it was the last time. It's not like he started a fight with you, but he was so incredibly upset that your heart ached from merely looking at him.
Now as I said the beginning is quite rough, since he didn't even know there are any monsters in general. So nothing could have really prepared him for what he's going to go up against, even tho you did your best to do so.
The first couple times you have to interfere with the pickaxe. Sam isn't sure if you killing these horrible looking creatures is hot or terrifying. (Both, both is good.)
But to your surprise he learns super quick! And I mean in the speed of light. It's as if he just switched up his entire fighting style over night. Had an entire arc going on while you were asleep smh.
You notice that his footing is completely different and his stance looks more confident. That precious boy is COMMITTED on keeping you safe.
Not only is he an amazing mining partner, but also great company. His jokes and big smile make the mines seem less dark and lonely. Just now you realize how isolated you actually felt whenever you came down here by yourself.
The two of you tried hard to keep this a secret from Jodi, but she found out eventually and was anything but happy about it. You couldn't blame her trying to talk Sam out of it and you didn't stop her once, but it became obvious to her pretty quick that her son doesn't plan on backing down.
Vincent on the other hand was absolutely thrilled when he first heard about it. He and Jas literally track you down to ask if they can join so you and Sam have to regularly sneak around town to avoid them. Your giggles almost always blow your cover.

rolling with the idea that every one of john winchester's kids are fated vessels for the archangels, i would like to propose adam being raphael's vessel.
based on true religion, raphael is an angel of healing and protection. his name means "god has healed", and he is the patron saint of medical workers. he is rooted in health and healing, and so is adam. beyond the obvious connection of raphael being a patron saint of medical workers and adam wanting to become a doctor, adam to his core is a healer. he healed himself; a human who has the strength to survive being locked in a cage in hell for 1200 years is not one who rests in self-destruction. he also healed michael. not physically, but mentally. an archangel like michael, who for his whole life has had immeasurable amount of control over heaven and earth, being locked away for millennia with absolutely nothing to do is bound to break mentally. and you could argue michael did in some ways, but in no ways specifically negative. adam kept michael sane, grounded, in the cage by his presence alone. they clearly communicated in the cage, as they came to an "agreement" about who can control their body, and i think the humanity adam brought into the cage is what kept michael from cracking, whether intentional or not.
also, in regard to the "protection" that raphael reins over, adam seems to resemble this. while we get few canonical goals and traits for adam, one is that he cares and is protective of his mother. he wants to become a doctor to pay back and care for his mom just like she did him. he hates his dad, john winchester, not just because of what john did to him, but for how john treated his mother. adam even shows some protection over michael when he takes over the body in 15x08 when michael starts becoming erratic and angry. he tells the winchesters to "give it a rest" when they upset michael, and while he phrases it in a way that seems to protect the winchesters from michael, i think the opposite is true as well. adam doesn't want michael lashing out for his own benefit and safety as much as for the winchesters.
and in a more canon sense, raphael's devotion to michael is representative to adam's. while never explicitly said, raphael stayed with michael in heaven even when raphael ceased to have faith in their father. he believed in his brother even when he didn't believe in his goal. adam treats michael a similar way. it’s clear in 15x08 that michael and adam have talked about michael’s father a few times before, judging by adam’s exasperation and the lack of overall anger michael expresses towards adam's opinions about god (while yes michael shows anger, he's an archangel. if michael was truly that angry adam would not be able to express his opinion like that). adam is willing to stand by michael's side, defend him, heal him, be "his guide", even though he doesn't believe in the same goals as michael. adam is devoted to michael, much like raphael was, not because of michael's endgame or unchecked loyalty, but simply because he is michael. he's someone they both love.
and one thing less michael-related and more in line with how sam, dean, and adam are all fated vessels for lucifer, michael, and raphael. in relation to their father, dean, like michael, was devoted to his dad. unending loyalty and a willingness to look over any mistake. they both are lost without their fathers, for better or for worse. sam, like lucifer, once had faith in his dad. there was a time for both of them where they were just as devoted to their fathers as their brothers were, but they both lost it along the way. they both started questioning their dads and opening themselves up to new viewpoints that directly disobeyed their dads' wishes. and in doing so, they both were disowned. adam, like raphael, was an easily forgettable child. they both were never the main focus of their fathers' plans, and because of this they both lost faith in their dads. maybe they didn't completely despise their fathers, but they had no reason to really care for them.
this topic also opens up a can of worms. does michael see raphael in adam? is that why he was more accepting towards him in the cage then he would've been towards most other humans, especially sam or dean? did he find normality in adam in the early days of the cage because of how his soul seemed to resemble his brother's?

Shall we play a game? Answers
Here I'll explain why the correct answers are:
Drinks when upset (Steve)
Criticizes everyone (Steve)
Obeys orders (Tony)
Doesn’t trade lives (Tony)
Worked for politicians for personal gain (Steve)
Good shooter (Tony)
Kissed 4 different women after starting a relationship with his partner (Steve)
Asks others for help and advice when needed (Tony)
Drinks when upset - Steve
Tumblr media
He can't get drunk, but that doesn't mean he doesn't drink. And he does this when he is upset for some reason. In Captain America: The First Avenger, it was Bucky's death; in Civil War (extended funeral scene), it was Peggy's death.
Tumblr media
There is not a single scene in the entire MCU where Tony drank because he was upset.
Criticizes everyone - Steve
I didn't remember that until I started working on the "Nice Guy" Contest and watched every scene with Cap in every movie he was, as well as every scene in every movie with the other OG6 Avengers. And it caught my attention - how often Steve criticizes other people: Fury, Nat, Tony, Bruce, Thor, even Peggy. I even got tired of this.
One of the examples:
Obeys orders - Tony
Steve spent his entire military/paramilitary career doing the opposite - refusing to follow orders and criticizing his commanders. In any hierarchical organization, be it SSR, SHIELD or the Avengers, he took control. Tony, despite being the owner of the Avengers, obeyed him and followed Rogers' orders.
Doesn't trade lives - Tony
Tumblr media
Even though it was Steve who said, “We don't trade lives,” he traded them. And more than once. As our winners mentioned, he traded the lives of Wakandans in Infinity War. In Civil War he traded the lives of civilians, special ops operatives, agents (they were killed or injured), Clint (his freedom and life with his family), Scott (his freedom and even life - he didn't stop him when Scott offered to do something that could "split him in half"), Sam (dragged into danger), Wanda (same), Sharon (who risked several times to help him), Nat (who also would be safe if not him), Rhodey (who wouldn't have been injured if Rogers hadn't started the fight), Peter (who he could have killed with the boarding bridge he brought down on him), and Tony. He traded them all for one man and the right to continue to command without anyone above him.
Tumblr media
In Endgame, his plan was to bring back 50% of the universe. Before Tony and Bruce explained to them how time travel actually works, the plan was to erase everything that happened after 2018. This means all the people who have been born since then and everything that has happened to the remaining 50% over the years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tony had to intervene anyway because they would have done terrible things if he hadn't told them not to change anything in those 5 years. He is the one who does not trade lives.
Even when he is told he can't save everyone - he tries. And sometimes he proves that he can.
Tumblr media
Worked for politicians for personal gain - Steve
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's how Steve became captain, in case you forgot.
And that's what Tony never did - work for politicians for personal gain.
Good shooter - Tony
You can find it here:
Kissed 4 different women after starting a relationship with his partner - Steve
In 1940s Steve started a relationship with Peggy Carter. Since then he kissed:
Howard's secretary
Tumblr media
Unknown woman (or man? who knows)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Natasha
Tumblr media
And Sheron, Carter
Tumblr media
Ever since Tony started his relationship with Pepper, he hadn't kissed anyone else. Or did anything else of that sort of things.
Asks others for help and advice when needed - Tony
Steve asked for help. He brought a bunch of people to risk everything and start a fight in Civil War, for example. He never asked for advice though. He always has his own opinion, it is always the right one and he doesn't need anyone else's.
On the other hand - Tony is not above asking others for help, as well as asking for advice and opinions.

1. What’s the most accurate/canon depiction of The Rogues relationship with each other for both pre-New 52 and post-New 52 comics? (eg what Mark is to Lisa and vice versa, what Digger is to Sam and vice versa, Len and Mick, etc until you’re done listing how everyone’s relationship with everyone else is like)
You can add others (Owen, Axel, Evan, etc) if you want, but this question is mostly aimed at the main Rogues.
2. I swear I saw a post from someone on this platform, I don’t know if it was you or somebody else, but they basically said something along the lines of: “You’d think that it would be out of character for Barry to leave his villains in Iron Heights, knowing how unethical the prison is and all. But the more I thought about it, the more I agreed that no, it isn’t actually that out of character for Barry.”
That thought has been stuck in my head ever since, and as someone who doesn’t really know Barry’s characterisation all that much (a crying shame, I know), I just wanted your opinion.
Is this statement true? I’d like to hear your reasoning for if you agree or disagree.
I didn’t know if I should keep these two questions on separate asks or not, so I just combined them both onto one. Hope you don’t mind all that much. I know it will probably take awhile to answer my questions, if you decide you want to that is. If you do then no pressure, take as much time as you want. If you decide you won’t answer, that’s also completely fine with me. Either way, hope your happy and safe wherever you are and have a good day/night.
Buckle up, because this is a long ride. To start, I'm leaving out stuff like when a Rogue was mind-controlled into doing something, or when they weren't in control of their actions due to being puppeted by Neron or Nekron (although the Black Lanterns were speaking from their victims' memories and thus may have had relevant things to say. It wasn't that person committing evil acts, however). That stuff wasn't voluntary, though of course the people harmed by them during those periods might not see it that way.
--Pre-Flashpoint--
Lisa and Len: Their relationship has varied depending on the era. In the Bronze Age they were often indifferent and sometimes hostile to each other (she didn't seem upset about Len's purported death), but occasionally got along well. After Crisis they frequently worked together and were generally friendly, but tensions built and things turned bad -- originally, Lisa was intended to have murdered her brother for his cold gun, but that was nixed in favour of her just stealing it. By the Johns era she was dead and Len was overtly mourning her, and we'd see in retconned flashbacks that they were very close due to their shared traumatic upbringing. One flashback showed her saying she'd become a criminal to be like her big brother, although Bronze Age comics were quite clear that she did it to avenge her dead boyfriend.
Lisa and Mark: They didn't interact much (just a few issues), but she poisoned him in one story to get him to do her bidding. It doesn't seem like they were close.
Lisa and Digger: Again, they didn't interact much, but she poisoned him in one story to get him to do her bidding. After she died, the tabloids claimed that she and Digger had a secret love-child -- which wasn't true -- but maybe they had more interactions that we never saw. Or maybe the tabloids just assumed Lisa was the mother because she was the only female Rogue in those days.
Lisa and Sam: They never interacted with each other back in the day, but in a later retcon Lisa wanted to be introduced to him because he was "cute".
Lisa and Roscoe: They were dating, and were very close. Eventually death separated them several times and they didn't get back together for unknown reasons.
Lisa and Mick: She and Len once tried to kill Mick in the Bronze Age, but he doesn't seem to have held a grudge; the three of them got along fine after Crisis, and they worked and socialized together. In the Johns era we saw an early flashback of Mick being exceptionally rude to Len about Lisa, so maybe their early relations weren't always great.
Lisa and Hartley: They only appeared in a few stories together, and in one (Blue Devil #30) they didn't interact much but seemed friendly. In DC Retro-Active: The Flash: 1980s they got along quite well, and seemed to get along when the heroes were rescuing Wally from the Turtle Man. Overall they were civil and friendly with each other.
Lisa and James: They co-existed well enough at Len's party, but she later poisoned him to get him to do her bidding. And the relationship between James and the Rogues (including her) was rather sour in Blue Devil. They seemed terse with each other at best.
Len and Mark: Len's been kind and supportive to Mark over the years, especially since taking over the team's dad role, but interestingly he didn't list Mark amongst the Rogues he liked. (There was also a panel in which Len listed Mark amongst three Rogues who were his "real family", but that was right after saying he was glad Lisa was dead -- it was from Johns' first arc and he quickly retconned his own work). Mark seems to like him, and trusted him enough to confess to Clyde's killing. The two had a good relationship of mutual support in Rogues' Revenge, which was probably the best they've ever had and the closest they've been.
Len and Digger: In Len's spotlight issue, he claimed Digger was one of the few Rogues he liked. They did get along well, including working together outside of the Rogues/Central City, though Len didn't treat Digger very kindly near the end of his life. Len was also cool-to-hostile to him after he returned from the dead and wanted to rejoin the Rogues, and actually beat the shit out of him (admittedly Digger had just done something stupid). That said, Len wistfully said "what are friends for, eh, Digger?" when Digger was dead and told Owen that Digger "was one of…my friends", so it seems Len always did retain a soft spot for him even despite his growling. He was probably taking a tough-love approach, even if he was a jerk about it.
Len and Sam: They got along fine before Sam was killed, and even liked each other enough to work together outside of the Rogues/Central City. They didn't seem close or anything, but Sam was one of the few Rogues Len said he liked in his spotlight issue.
Len and Roscoe: They seemed to get along okay or were mostly indifferent to each other before Roscoe died, but after his death Len made it very clear he didn't miss him (although interestingly, Len seemed sad at his funeral). This may be because Roscoe had recently tried to kill the other Rogues if they messed with his plan after he'd died (which they did), but the fact that Roscoe dated Len's sister surely didn't help. By the Johns era the two of them hated each other, and Len opted not to treat Roscoe like he did most Rogues -- leaving him to languish in prison and not helping him when he clearly needed it. Things eventually devolved to Roscoe threatening to mind-control the other Rogues to make them fall in line, and Len killed him. Afterwards, we learned that at some point in earlier history Len had turned the other Rogues against Roscoe to become the group's leader, but unfortunately we don't know the details of what happened.
Len and Mick: A very complicated relationship, which goes from friendly to openly hostile and back again…sometimes within the same issue. Mick said he got along with all the Rogues but Len, which is basically true, and Len was a major reason Mick spent long periods estranged from the Rogues. In the Bronze Age, Len (and Lisa) tried to kill Mick, and previously Len had tried to traumatize Mick by manipulating him into killing an innocent person. Len's been openly insulting to Mick at times, who'd then retaliate in kind, but Len has also been supportive and helpful with Mick's many psychological issues. Sometimes Len watched out for his well-being in ways nobody else did. The end result is a complicated and not very healthy frenemy relationship between them, though they generally work well together with their complementary tech.
Len and Hartley: They seemed to get along okay until Hartley reformed (though there was a flashback to Len being callous to him in the early days), but Len's been low-key hostile to him ever since. There must be an underlying reason for it, because Len didn't really treat other reformed Rogues that way (even if he wasn't always thrilled with them) and I think he just doesn't like Hartley.
Len and James: In Len's spotlight issue, he said James was one of the few Rogues he liked. Which is interesting because I've never seen a particular bond between the two of them, but Len did accept James back quite readily after a long period of reform (which even involved fighting against the Rogues as part of the FBI). James doesn't seem to have much fondness for Len though, and has cheerfully tricked and pranked him a few times.
Mark and Sam: They seem to have gotten along okay, though they didn't interact much.
Mark and Digger: They were generally quite friendly to each other, though Mark didn't have the nicest things to say about Digger after he'd died. The Rogues can be like that with each other, however, so it might not really mean anything.
Mark and Mick: They didn't interact much but got along well when they were on the same side. However, the two of them have frequently been on opposing sides (or at least one was reformed and one wasn't), so there may have been ongoing tension between them from the time of Mick's first stint with reform. But things were fine between them when Mick rejoined the Rogues after that, so it seems like there was no lingering grudge.
Mark and Roscoe: They didn't interact much but seemed to get along okay. In Blackest Night, Roscoe's zombie (which wasn't actually him, but had his memories) spoke flatteringly to Mark and reminded him that at some unspecified point they'd once planned to take out Len and run the Rogues together, which was a bombshell never addressed again. They probably would have turned on each other if the plan ever came to fruition, but there was either mutual respect or some intended backstabbing going on there.
Mark and Hartley: They seemed to get along reasonably well back in the day, though many Rogues were frosty to Hartley after he reformed and Mark was probably no different. Hartley didn't seem as though he had fond feelings for Mark after reforming, as he was pretty apathetic when he saw Mark distressed in Iron Heights and potentially exposed to a lethal virus, and Hartley was as cold to the Rogues when he 'returned' undercover as they were to him. It's not clear whether Hartley knew Mark was part of the Rogues who'd killed his parents and framed him for it, or if he'd even blame Mark for that since Mark wasn't directly involved in the scheme. But it's fair to say that they didn't get along well from at least the Johns era until Flashpoint.
Mark and James: They got along well before Crisis, and socialized in a friendly manner up into the Waid era. But things had probably changed by the time James joined the FBI, in which he was working to take down the Rogues (including Mark). James rejoined the Rogues in the aftermath of Rogue War and interacted civilly with them, though he was openly contemptuous of their behaviour in Countdown and we later learned that he was there undercover. I think it's likely James didn't have particularly warm feelings for Mark or most of the others, and perhaps there was just too much bad blood before James was killed and the universe soon rebooted.
Roscoe and Mick: They didn't interact much but seemed to get along okay; they looked cheery when chatting during a flashback in Mick's spotlight issue. However, Mick's narration stated that he got along with Roscoe even though Roscoe talked over everyone's heads, so it seems probable that Mick tolerated him more than liked him.
Roscoe and Digger: They got along well before Crisis, but haven't been shown interacting since. Both have done personality 180s since Crisis, and I can't imagine either of their newer personalities would like or even tolerate the other, so they probably wouldn't get along and likely avoided each other. Roscoe did attend Digger's funeral, though.
Roscoe and James: In the Silver/Bronze Ages they never actually interacted with each other on panel, though they must have met behind the scenes because James was at Roscoe's funeral and complained about his sense of humour. (We've also seen a flashback of them together from a comic published later.) And James spoke dismissively of him after his death, calling him the least of the Rogues. It's difficult to say what their relationship was, though James clearly wasn't impressed by him, and probably wasn't thrilled with Roscoe when his mind-whammy was undone…and Roscoe died soon after, so they never spoke again before the universe was rebooted. It doesn't seem to have been a good relationship, but we've seen so little of their interactions.
Roscoe and Hartley: They seemed to get along okay before Roscoe died, but things took an ugly turn after he'd returned and Hartley had reformed. Roscoe tried to goad Hartley into killing a presidential candidate and then tried to frame him for it, and did so by being a homophobic asshole to him and Hartley understandably thought he was a monster. My opinion, based on what Roscoe said in the issue, is that he was trying to seriously rile up Hartley to accomplish his plan and might not have actually believed the stuff he said…but it doesn't change that he said and did it, and was in fact acting like a monster. What's interesting is that later (in the Johns era) Hartley was lamenting having no living family left, and Roscoe told him "You still have family. Me for one." Which was probably cold comfort and Hartley wouldn't agree, but it's still very interesting that Roscoe would say that.
Roscoe and Sam: Roscoe was generally quite friendly to Sam, but Sam tricked him into losing a million dollar bet and left him to die in a booby-trapped prison, so Roscoe resentfully helped Barry ruin Sam's plan. Roscoe secretly swore to get payback, but never seems to have acted on it and Sam screwed him over again by later stealing his loot. For whatever reason, Sam was the Rogue that Roscoe chose to inform of his death, though he also had a scheme to blow up the Rogues if they messed with his revenge plan (which they did). They had a weird relationship, but I think Roscoe liked Sam more than the other Rogues.
Sam and Digger: They were generally great pals, despite some hiccups here and there -- Digger was a dick to Sam in Gotham and then tried to hypnotize him into doing his dirty work. Sam was pissed enough that he tried to get a cop to shoot Digger dead. But otherwise they got along quite well and worked/socialized together even outside the Rogues and Central City, and after Sam died his costume and tech ended up in Digger's hands and he used them to commit incognito crimes. The other Rogues were furious (not knowing who was doing it), but Digger thought Sam would appreciate the joke, and he was probably right.
Sam and James: They mostly got along okay, although Sam robbed James of his loot once, and all the Rogues of the late Bronze Age tended to snarl at each other for some reason.
Sam and Hartley: Their relationship didn't seem particularly notable until Hartley was hospitalized for a nervous breakdown, and then Sam and Digger went in disguise to free him. Both were somewhat dismissive of Hartley, claiming he wasn't a great pal or anything, but the Rogues sometimes do that to downplay their feelings (perhaps to seem like tough guys?) and they went to a fair bit of effort to spring someone they didn't really care about. They obviously cared.
Sam and Mick: They seemed to get along well before Mick had a traumatic experience and left the Rogues. We don't know what Sam thought about Mick's reform.
Digger and James: They generally got along in a friendly jocular manner before Crisis, though one time Digger disapproved of James trying to unmask an apparently-deceased Flash and kicked him for it…they ended up squabbling and yelling at each other. After Crisis, Digger turned his back and suggested that the Rogues should let James fall to his death. Later, after Digger had been away from the Rogues a long time and James had reformed, Digger repeatedly begged him for money and James completely cut him off, calling him a "mooch". So perhaps relations soured after their time apart.
Digger and Hartley: As noted above, Digger and Sam went to some trouble to free Hartley from lock-up. That aside, they didn't have a good relationship; Digger criticized Hartley's battle tactics and Hartley thought poorly of Digger's intelligence even before Crisis, and we know that Digger made a lot of shitty comments/jokes about Hartley's sexuality. And Digger was openly hostile when he saw Hartley at Linda Park's funeral. Post-Crisis' Digger's personality is obnoxious enough that he'd definitely get on Hartley's nerves (and vice versa, to be honest), so it's no surprise they don't get along.
Digger and Mick: They seemed to get along well, though as noted above Mick could get along with almost everyone. Digger may not have appreciated Mick's stints of reform, but he still accepted the situation when Mick sometimes returned to hang out with the guys, so maybe it didn't even bother him. And Mick was willing to lend him money (likely knowing he wouldn't get it back) after James cut him off, with a bit of gentle chiding about getting his shit together. They appear to have had a good relationship.
James and Hartley: Best friends, at least when they're being written properly; we'll leave Countdown out of this because we all know how OOC it was. James was friendly with Hartley when they were both Rogues (it's not known whether he knew Hartley's sexuality then, but he might have), and he accepted Hartley once Hart had reformed and become a pariah to the Rogues and was openly gay. Later Hartley was accused of murdering his parents and James refused to help him when he was on the lam, but it's very possible that was due to the general mind control James was under, so it's debatable whether that was really his fault. Ditto for James basically press-ganging Hartley and Mick into the FBI. Either way, all those shenanigans aside, they're very good friends who like, accept, and trust each other. James also left his will and data for taking down the Rogues to Hartley, and told him that the information was hidden from everyone else by invisible ink.
James and Mick: They've never seemed particularly close, but later in life developed the commonality of reform or semi-reform and both are quite easy to get along with. As stated above, James drafted Mick and Hartley into the FBI and that may not have been their choice, but James was supportive of Mick's mental health and ensured he received plenty of psychological support…which was definitely necessary. He also encouraged Mick to train and remain physically healthy, so overall he was very considerate of his needs and well-being. They weren't close after the two of them went back to the Rogues, but that may have been because Mick sincerely wanted to return and James was (apparently) undercover. Overall they had a friendly and supportive relationship, despite some occasional bumps.
Hartley and Mick: Their relationship before Crisis wasn't particularly notable one way or another, but in the Johns era they were firm friends and allies during a time when most of the Rogues neither liked nor accepted Hartley. Hartley was a fugitive at the time, and Mick was the only person willing to help him with no questions asked. They later worked well together at the FBI, but weren't close when Mick rejoined the Rogues.
--Post-Flashpoint--
Digger and all other Rogues: Only Digger and Len have had significant interactions, and that story inexplicably depicted them as not knowing each other. However, a later issue showed Len offering Digger a place with the Rogues via text message.
Roscoe and all other Rogues: He's only interacted with them in passing, although Len tried to kill him again so it seems their relationship hasn't improved :>
James and all the other Rogues: He's only interacted with them in passing (aside from Axel), and he mind-controlled them into doing his bidding so there's probably no love between them and him. A past version of him also worked on the Legion of Zoom with the Snarts, but they were cool towards each other.
Lisa and Len: For a while she blamed and hated him for giving the Rogues metahuman powers, which left her seriously injured/ill and her boyfriend trapped in the Mirrorverse, but those problems are over now and the two are fairly close despite occasional differences. She opposed his regime during "Year of the Villain", but still cared about his safety and his conscience, and she broke him out of custody after his defeat. For his part, Len made a lot of mistakes during the New 52 and was selfish at times, but he went to great lengths to keep her safe and healthy during her illness.
Lisa and Sam: They almost got married and were very close through many struggles, but eventually broke up and she's been cool towards him since. He reacted by becoming a sullen hedonist, and their breakup is probably a big part of why he's not been with the Rogues for a while.
Lisa and Marco: He admired and respected her and wanted her to be team leader before seemingly falling back towards Len's leadership. They treat each other with mutual respect, though he put her life at risk in Rogues Rebellion when he'd had enough of the ongoing shenanigans. He later returned to do the right thing and help her and the others.
Lisa and Mick: He's frequently been surly towards her as he is with everyone else, but clearly cares about her and treats her with about as much respect as he has for anyone.
Lisa and Hartley: The first time they interacted on panel, Lisa got revenge on him for being a "traitor", but later that was forgotten and he went to a fair bit of trouble to keep her safe from danger. His narration stated that she'd supported him and helped him come out to the other Rogues before the New 52 began, indicating that they'd been good friends, so I don't know if they ever reconciled the 'traitor' thing or he simply let it go.
Len and Sam: They had/have something of an uneasy relationship because Sam was dating Len's sister, and Len was responsible for tearing them apart and nearly getting her killed…and after getting through all that, Lisa and Sam broke up and left Len somewhat in the middle. But Len has much better relations with Sam than he had with Roscoe before Flashpoint, and they mostly treat each other with friendliness and respect. But there's obviously anger and tension at times too.
Len and Mick: An extremely hostile relationship throughout most of the New 52, though Mick calmed down somewhat in Rebirth. All the meta Rogues were angry at Len, but Mick took it to another level of resentment and bitter violence. That's mostly behind them now, but Mick's still somewhat surly and it's probably a legacy of what happened to him. Len, on the other hand, didn't really take much responsibility for what he did to the other Rogues who weren't Lisa, and it's not surprising his relationship with Mick wasn't good. However, when the Sage Force was sorting out Mick's trauma it (or his mind) conjured up 'Len' to talk sense to him and calm him down, and by "Year of the Villain" Mick proclaimed that Len was his best friend, so obviously the situation significantly improved over time.
Len and Marco: They formerly had a terse relationship due to resentment about metahuman powers, though they seem to be on good terms now that it's behind them. Marco can be moody though, so that's probably a challenge at times.
Len and Hartley: They haven't interacted much, though Hartley saved Len from dying in an accident and Len seemed happy to see him -- but he also wanted Hartley to let him go, so maybe he was just buttering him up. Hartley was working as a hero at the time, so he wouldn't budge even for old times' sake.
Marco and Sam: Their relations have ranged from friendly to antagonistic during times of stress, but overall they treat each other with respect and have a brotherly relationship. They seem like actual friends.
Marco and Mick: Mick's intense anger issues and Marco's brooding moodiness was kind of a match made in hell and probably why they've never been close. They seem to get along okay now that Mick has mellowed a lot.
Marco and Hartley: They haven't interacted much.
Mick and Hartley: They haven't interacted much.
Mick and Sam: Mick was surly to everyone for most of the New 52, though his relationship with Sam in Rogues Rebellion was surprisingly positive and friendly. Sam tried to talk sense and the brotherhood of Rogues to Mick, who mostly dismissed him but still sacrificed himself to save the others, showing that Sam had gotten through to him. Mick later turned up alive, and was afterwards restored psychologically and physically by the Sage Force, which calmed him down significantly. But Sam turned into a jerk after he broke up with Lisa, and Mick yelled at him for it and finally got through to him somewhat, indicating that both of them listen to the other and are the better for it. Their relationship has never been warm and fuzzy, but it seems like there's enough respect to get the other guy to be better, and for both to accept advice.
Sam and Hartley: They were friendly during their interactions, which makes sense because Hartley was helping to save Lisa.
Question 2: I swear I saw a post from someone on this platform, I don’t know if it was you or somebody else, but they basically said something along the lines of: “You’d think that it would be out of character for Barry to leave his villains in Iron Heights, knowing how unethical the prison is and all. But the more I thought about it, the more I agreed that no, it isn’t actually that out of character for Barry.” That thought has been stuck in my head ever since, and as someone who doesn’t really know Barry’s characterisation all that much (a crying shame, I know), I just wanted your opinion. Is this statement true? I’d like to hear your reasoning for if you agree or disagree.
This is a bit of a tricky question, because Iron Heights was introduced and got most of its panel time when Barry was dead, so he wasn't around for the 'heyday' of its development when Ashley Zolomon and Wally West grappled with what was going on inside. We don't know what his position would have been before Flashpoint, though I don't think he would have liked it. Classic Barry was very much a law and order type (a cop, obviously), but that was in the days when prison brutality generally wasn't addressed in comics. We do know he was horrified by what was done to Clive Yorkin, which was an experimental and arguably cruel treatment of a prisoner.
But there's no question that Iron Heights has been around since Barry came back, that there's been abuse shown on-panel since then, and he hasn't really done anything about it. He was shocked by what happened to Axel in solitary and seemed like he was going to rescue him, but that just kind of petered out and it was Kristen Kramer and David Singh who did the work to stop Wolfe. I do think that's out of character….to a point. There's no question he's a cop and someone who follows the rules more often than, say, Wally. But that can also work both ways, and overt cruelty and harsh punishment isn't following the rule of law either. I think Barry wouldn't lose sleep if Wolfe took away prisoners' material comforts and privileges, even if we think that's wrong, but IMO he should find a beaten prisoner or a prisoner with his prosthetic arm removed unacceptable and take action. He's a person who has shown mercy towards reformed and even completely unrepentant villains before, and he's not perfect, but nobody is.
TL;DR I don't agree with how Barry's Iron Heights plot was handled.

🔥 What’s your unpopular opinion on the whole “orym is disrespectful to Laudna by try to cover up her looks and not pronounce ing her name correctly? And how he shouldn’t still be trying to get used to her isms.” Also the whole “bh doesn’t care or love Laudna, only Imogen does.”
I mean, it's part of blorbofication, right? Fans have long been upset whenever their favorite characters aren't the center of the story. It's happened with characters from all the past campaigns, and it's just as ridiculous now as it was then. You had Vex stans complaining that the party (and the story!) shortchanged her; Scanlan stans complaining that the party was unfair and cruel to him; Beau stans complaining that the party was insufficiently deferential to her; Caleb stans complaining that the party didn't constantly drop everything to take care of him; Ashton stans complaining that the party was abusive for yelling at them; so on and so forth.
I mean, the mispronouncing of her name is clearly a silly Liam (and Sam) thing; it's not in-character and clearly isn't intended to be taken that way. Bell's Hells have only been together for about three to four months at this point, so it's not really surprising that Orym wouldn't be completely used to all the unsettling things Laudna does, especially when she's rather rapidly learning newfound ways to be creepy. (I mean, Imogen even admitted way back in the early campaign that it had been two years and she still wasn't used to Pate.) The notion that the Hells don't love or care about Laudna is so laughable it barely warrants a response—they went to another continent and battled Delilah Briarwood to get her back; this point is transparently being argued to prop up a ship and nothing else. It's Blorbo-Centered Morality, but that's pretty standard, y'know?

Something fluffy you say....hmmm....what about if what if reader got slightly hurt on a mission (something small like bullet graze and a bump on the head kinda thing) and when they get back to the compound Natasha is just like distraught that no one told her you were hurt and she drags you off to her to her room to patch you up and it's just very gentle and caring and full of cuddles and maybe even a love confession
Just a Scratch
Summary: In your opinion, it's a minor injury. To Natasha, it is much, much more.
Words: I’m not sure, 2k-ish 🤷🏻‍♀️
Warnings: bullet wound, sad Natasha, light angst with a happy ending, not proofread
A/N: This got a little angstier than I expected, not really sure that I fulfilled the ask, but I hope you enjoy!!! Just so everyone knows, I do see your requests! The will to write is just a bit thin these days. I’m trying to get to them. Thank you all for sticking with me :)
Tumblr media
"What the hell is that?"
You've barely taken three steps off the quinjet when Natasha runs up and stops you. She tilts your chin up to get a better look at the wound on the side of your neck.
The stretch makes you wince, and she quickly retracts her hand.
"Why didn't you tell me you were hurt?" she asks hurriedly. Before you have a chance to respond, she turns to Steve and Sam, your partners on this mission.
"Did you even check if she was ok?" she asks angrily, "why didn't you call this in?!"
The pair freeze, wide eyed, looking to you for help.
You take a deep breath and try to regain your friend's attention.
"Because it's just a scratch, Natasha," you explain, "the bullet just grazed me. I'm fine. It's not even worth a trip to the med bay." You try to reassure, but you have no idea what you have just said.
The red head whips around to focus on you, "you were shot, and you aren't even going to let Cho check you out??" Your teammates are completely forgotten as her anger turns to you. "How can you be so idiotic?"
"Because I'm fine," you insist, upset that your closest friend (and person you've been growing feelings for) is now angry with you. You don’t want to return her anger with anger of your own, but unfortunately you can’t help it this time.
"Seriously Nat, we've all been hurt way worse than this on missions. I don't get why you're making such a big deal about this.”
It's that moment, you finally look in her eyes and find the fear that hides behind the anger, just before it fades into hurt. You forget your frustration immediately.
Natasha clenches her jaw and takes a step back.
You open your mouth to speak, but she shakes her head. Your lips snap closed, and you wait for her to make the next move.
After a long moment of silence, Natasha releases a heavy sigh. "Come on," she mutters, grabbing your hand and walking out of the room, pulling you along.
"Where are we going?"
"My room," she says, barely looking over shoulder.
"Why?"
She sighs, but still doesn't face you, "because if you're gonna be stubborn, I will be more stubborn. Since you're not going to Cho, I'm dressing that wound."
"Natash-"
Instantly, she stops and turns to you, "end of discussion." She waits for a response. When you don't give her one, she continues down the hall.
You're not sure what to say, so you just follow silently.
Once in her room, Natasha points the bed, "sit." She then walks into the attached bathroom to find the med bag she keeps.
You sit on the bed and wait. Glancing around, your eyes land on your reflection in a mirror. At the sight of the large bruise spread across half of your neck, you gasp.
It definitely looks worse than it feels. It really only stings where the bullet actually broke the skin, which is a rather thin line.
Natasha's reaction makes a bit more sense now.
The Russian reenters the room with a handful of supplies. She drops them on the bed. Sitting next to you, she gets to work. She first takes a wet cloth and as gently as she can, she cleans the wound.
Silence stretches between you as she focuses on your wound. Natasha sets aside the cloth and opens a cream to treat the scrape.
The second the cream touches your neck, you pull away and wince, "ow!"
"Stay still."
"It hurts," you try to defend yourself.
You can almost hear her mutter 'good' under her breath. Natasha grabs you by the chin and draws your head back into the position she had it before. With a clenched jaw, she continues tending to your wound, grabbing some gauze and tape to bandage your neck.
"Can I ask you a question?" you practically whisper.
She pauses for a moment, "of course."
You think of the best way to word this, scared to say the wrong thing. "What made you so upset? We get injured all the time, and you don't act this way."
The widow sighs, attaching the last piece of tape, "this is your neck." Setting the supplies aside, she looks you in the eye, "and you didn't radio it in. You didn't go to the medbay."
"Because I'm fine-"
"Your throat, Y/n," she interrupts, and you don't miss the way her voice cracks when she says your name. "Someone had a gun aimed at your throat, and they did not miss."
You can't help but scoff, "oh come on, they missed."
Natasha shakes her head, "the bullet hit you. They did not miss." She holds your gaze for a moment, but when her lip begins to tremble, she breaks eye contact looking down to her hands.
It's the most vulnerable you've ever seen her. Natasha has been meticulously trained to hide her emotions; you know that. You're only seeing this side of her because she is allowing you to.
That level of trust is something you do not take lightly.
"If you had been standing an inch to the right," Natasha continues, still not looking up, "...or if their hand shook, or the wind blew the wrong way, you would have been gone before they got you to the quinjet. Before anyone could’ve said goodbye.”
She finally looks up to you, and you can see the layer of tears gathering in her eyes, "before I could have said goodbye."
Nodding slowly, you answer softly, "ok, you're right. I got lucky this time." She tries to look away again, but you cup one of her cheeks, bringing her gaze to meet yours again.
"Hey, look at me," you give her a small smile, "I'm ok... and even if I wasn't," you shrug, "you would be. The team would get by. It would probably suck for a while, but eventually you'd all be ok-"
A sudden press of lips against yours interrupts you from finishing what you were saying. You're shocked still for less than a second, then you reciprocate with the same passion she puts into the kiss.
A dance of lips backed by the music of feelings that have been held back for too long.
Eventually, you both need air, so you break apart. Large breaths are taken by both of you.
You pull back and smile to Natasha.
Just as you lock eyes, the tear that has been hanging from the corner of her eye finally falls down her cheek.
"I would never be ok without you."
The sincerity in her voice puts you back. A sudden guilt washes over you. You tend to forget that there are people who care about you now. Someone who is waiting for you to come home.
"I'm sorry," you whisper. Cupping her face, you stroke her cheek with your thumb, and she leans into your touch. "We should have called it in. I should have gone to the medbay. I promise I will do better... for you." You emphasized the last two words with as much feeling as you can manage.
Natasha smiles, and the guilt that weighed heavy on you lifts, and you are left with blinding brightness of her smile.
She leans in, and captures your lips once again. Natasha’s hands cup your face with a gentle touch. When she deepens the kiss, you pull her closer to you, wrapping your arms around her waist. Likewise, her hands slip down to your neck to pull you further into the kiss.
“Ah ah,” you pull away as pain radiates from your neck.
Green eyes go wide. “Sorry,” Nat retracts her hands from your neck as if she was burned, “I’m so sorry.” She rushes out a few more ‘sorry’s.
You laugh and shake your head, “it’s ok, it’s ok.” You reach out to bring her back into you, resting your foreheads together.
Natasha bumps your nose with her own then asks, “stay with me tonight?”
You smirk teasingly, “my, my, Miss Romanoff, aren’t you moving fast.”
A blush creeps up her cheeks. “I just want to hold you,” she admits timidly.
Instantly, you heart melts into a puddle. You never quite realized just how far you had fallen for her.
“Yes, I’ll stay,” you punctuate your answer with a quick kiss. You wrap your arms around her again, this time nuzzling into the place where her neck meets her collar bone.
The two of you spend the rest of the night tangled up together watching movies, exchanging soft glances and tender kisses.
You falls asleep in Natasha’s arms somewhere towards the beginning of the third Bond movie, but not before you hear a soft whisper.
“I love you, Y/n L/n.”

A/N: why do I still get anxious when I post? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!!!

So I want to talk about the Legend of Vox Machina, Season Three Finale, but more specifically what it means for the coming spinoff(ish) season based on the second campaign, The Mighty Nein. If you haven't watched the newest episodes of season three or don't want MAJOR spoilers for TM9, don't continue on to under the cut.
Spoilers for the ending of TLVM S3 and the entirety of TM9:
Okay, I want to specifically talk about what this means for the VERY fucking controversial finale of M9. Those who were there remember it well, especially me, because the INSANE fighting that came out of nowhere ruined CR for me.
For those who don't know, instead of bringing back Mollymauk Tealeaf, Taliesin made a new character out of Molly's dead corpse and it really rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way. Some were all for it (but from my experience, that was a rare minority), a lot were against it and an even larger group didn't like it but said "this is Taliesin's character, he gets to do what he wants". The fanbase kind of tore itself apart from the inside, esp on Twitter, Youtube, and a little on here but not as bad. Honestly, the whole thing killed a large part of the fandom and that's part of the reason why a lot of people fell off with Campaign 3/Bells Hells.
While I have my own opinions on the finale, I'm not going to share them here but this choice will probably be rectified in the M9 animated series.
TLVM seems to be trying to fix story issues, esp big ones that upset fans or didn't flow narratively which was almost certainly what Molly's/Kingsley's revival was for the greater Critter fanbase back in 2021. People (including me) had been watching for literal months back then, waiting to see if Molly was revived or not, then a sudden third thing happened that upset the majority of the fanbase.
I think a large part of that choice was Taliesin kinda hating Molly? More specifically he hated the popularity Molly got. Molly was a fan favorite, even after his death and people just wanted more of him even tho he was long replaced by Caduceus after Molly's death. I think Taliesin was just, done with Molly at that point.
Plus, it looked like at that time he wasn't enjoying Critical Role as much, Taliesin seems to wish CR never got as big as it did. He wanted it to stay small, something between him and his friends.
In a recent interview, Sam said he didn't have the fight that drove Scanlan away from Vox Machina because it didn't fit narratively in the show or really even in the podcast. I can see Taliesin having that moment of clarity within the past three years. He can see as a writer, as a director, as a storyteller, that choice upset the fans (and probably his fucking castmates, ngl). This is the chance to undo the damage a lot of people had but that's the cast's choice.
Do I think this is set in stone? No, I can totally see it going the same way it does in the campaign, and dear god, I don't want to deal with that toxic hellhole the fandom became back then. But this is what I think will happen. If you have any ideas or comments, feel free to reblog.

Every time I say "man what Sam did to Kevin sucked" I get bombarded w people yelling about how it was Gadreel that killed him and how they're "so sick of everyone blaming Sam"... like bro, I was talking about Sam letting Kevin get kidnapped...
There are some pockets of fans in spnblr that believe everyone should have to walk around egg shells around them. They are overly sensitive to the point that they need to control what everyone else thinks and posts, so they reblog things they don't agree with (or that they have interpreted in bad faith) to start fights and try to belittle or intimidate the OP into silence instead of blocking or filtering and moving on with their lives. If they don't get what they want (you shutting up), they feel attacked even though they're the ones coming to your blog, being annoying and obtuse, and lashing out. Instead of creating personal boundaries to protect themselves from things that upset them (i.e., blocking and filtering) they believe it's your job to become psychically aware of all of their individual personal traumas and cater every thought in your head and every single thing you post to their feelings, opinions, and boundaries, and if you don't, you are a bad person who is "failing to mitigate harm". They will accuse you of hurting them and try to make you feel like a bad person... all over a TV show—because they are nasty, manipulative, miserable people.
This is unsolicited advice, but I would recommend blocking as many people like that as you need to until stuff like this stops happening. (If harassment continues from sock accounts after blocking, that's another matter, but usually people don't take it that far). People like this are not worth your time or energy to respond to or clarify things with because no matter what you do or how clearly you write down your thoughts, they will continuously respond emotionally and in bad faith. Over time, you can grow desensitized to this kind of thing and it may not bother you anymore, but if you are genuinely being bombarded and you aren't used to a number of people showing up at a time to be angry with you (especially over things you didn't say) then it can be very discouraging and affect what you feel like posting and cause you to walk on eggshells on your own blog to avoid upsetting some random weirdo who might happen to see it, which isn't something you deserve to feel no matter what your opinions are on a silly TV show.

hi mousey!! been a while since I sent you an ask
I was putting on my make up earlier today and an idea came to mind, I need to know your opinion on this
how do you think the sdv + sve bachelors would react to a farmer who asks to do their make up? which ones do you think refuse? which ones ask before the farmer does, "can you do it?"? and which ones just accept?
hope you have a great day <3
Hope you have a good day too, dear anon, and thanks for the ask! ☺️❤️
SDV and SVE bachelors react to the Farmer who asks to do their makeup:
Shane:
"Babe, I don't know anything about this."
Still, Shane tries to try to give them a makeup so they don't get upset.
Unfortunately, it didn't work very well.
But he does get a funny little face made of mascara on Farmer's cheek, heh.
Next time, however, he'll refuse, as he'll only make it worse.
Well, at least Shane and Farmer got a funny little memory.
Elliott:
Surprisingly, Elliott agrees right away.
And what's more surprising is that he manages to help Farmer with the make-up very well.
Everything is precise, neat and harmonious, like wow!
Surely our long-haired writer hasn't been a stylist before?
Elliott is happy to do Farmer's make up and tells them not to hesitate to ask him for help in the future.
Harvey:
"Oh, make-up? I'm sorry, my dear, but I don't think I can..."
Harvey does agree to help, though he doesn't count on success.
Totally calm when applying mascara to Farmer, but accidentally paints their cheek with mascara anyway.
On the third or fourth attempt, the doctor manages to give Farmer a simple and quite passable make-up.
Hey, a reason to be proud, he helped his loved one!
Sam:
Hell yeah, Sammy can do quite good make-up! A little different, though.
The young musician has been thinking about make-up for his music band for a long time, so he's had time to practice.
Even though Farmer needs a light, simple ("and boring" as Sam described it) make-up, he can still help them.
And will do very well with mascara and foundation.
"You sure you don't want cool make-up like metal bands? Eh, okay..."
Sebastian:
Sebastian definitely uses black eyeliner (my headcanon, you can't change my mind).
At times our dear emo was too lazy to do his own eyeliner, so will ask Farmer for help first. "Hon, can you help with the eyes please?"
Doesn't know much about the rest of make-up products, but if you need to emphasise your eyes, Sebby will never refuse a request.
And he'll ask for it himself if Farmer's okay with it as well.
Alex:
What make-up? He's not a girl!
To be honest, Alex has only had a couple of make-ups, which are usually done by gridball fans, and, well, that's basically it.
So if Farmer's going to the stadium, then Alex can help with cool sport fan make-up.
If it's just some regular make-up, then no, sorry. He can't do it.
He could try, but he'd end up with paint all over their face. Oh well, at least he tried.
Victor:
"Makeup? Oh, I've never done it, but my mom does her own makeup every day. Maybe she could help you?"
If Farmer insists on getting help from Victor specifically, he will politely decline.
He'd be interested in the idea, though, and a little later he'd watch tutorials on his laptop or ask Olivia.
The next time Victor offered to help Farmer with their makeup, wanting to practice.
"I thought it sounded interesting. Besides, we'll have one more common interest."
Magnus Rasmodius:
"Only with magic can I fulfil your request."
For Magnus, magic is almost the solution to all problems. He thinks magic will help here, too....
With his hands? Sorry, Farmer. A wizard certainly can't do your make up by hands. Only with a spell.
Well, he still has to remember the spell.....
Hold on, he should ask Camilla, she's definitely using that kind of spell.
Lance:
Another clever mage from the magical society where agree to help Farmer with the help of his magic.
He also watches his appearance and sometimes uses spells, but he doesn't do his own makeup and tries to take care of himself without cosmetics.
How then he knows the spells of instant perfect makeup is a mystery.
A snap of his fingers and in a second, he has perfect makeup on Farmer's face.
Though in the future he may learn a couple of basics on how to do Farmer's makeup without magic. Just because the process itself is kinda interesting.

My Yasmine posts don't get a lot of attention but idc. I can't stop thinking about mean girl Yasmine falling for Sam's goth younger sister.
When Sam threw the pool party, Reader stayed inside because she didn't go to the country club with her parents because she didn't want to socialize with uppity rich older people and she especially doesn't want to socialize with uppity rich teenagers. She stays in her room and pretends its not happening, but that's a little hard given the teens outside are so loud and annoying. So she turns on her loud rock music to drown them out.
It catches Yasmine’s attention and she looks up to Reader's window. She rolls her eyes and looks at Sam. "What is that horrendous noise?"
Sam, a little embarrassed, admits it's Reader. "Just my sister."
Yasmine makes a face because Reader is "so uncool" and has always been a little weird in her opinion. She stands up and huffs. "Well, it's ruining my vibe."
She goes inside to tell Reader to shut it off. She bangs on the door and waits, but is shocked when Reader opens the door in nothing but a pair of black booty shorts that show off her thick thighs and a camisole that is a little too small for her big tits.
Reader is annoyed, thinking Sam was coming to tell her to stop embarrassing her, but it a little surprised to see the queen bee herself. She doesn't let it show though, frowning with her dark lipstick painted lips. "What do you want?"
Yasmine recollects herself and huffs. "Turn that shit off."
"It's my house, you can't tell me what to do," Reader says and shuts her bedroom door in her face.
Yasmine can't believe someone talked to her like that but she isn't totally mad about it. Weird feelings erupt in her chest and she bangs on the door again. She thinks she's angry, so she acts all huffy and puffy.
Reader opens the door again. "If you're gonna ask nicely this time, the answer is still no."
"How dare you talk to me like that?" Yasmine all but screeches. "Do you have any idea who I am?"
"Do I look like I care?"
"You're such a loser."
"Oh, I'm so hurt," Reader says sarcastically. She rolls her eyes. "Are we done here? This is my favorite album and you're kind of making it where I can't enjoy it."
Yasmine can't stand that she can't get under Reader's skin. As the door is shut in her face again, she whines and throws a little fit, stomping her feet.
Even after the party, Yasmine is upset about it and can't stop thinking about Reader. When school starts, she tries to pester and bother Reader as much as she can. She makes jokes at her expense within earshot, teases her in the locker room , and gossips about her all the time. However, Reader let's it all breeze past her because she doesn't give a single fuck about what Yasmine has to say about her.
When the Halloween dance comes around, Sam tries to get Reader to dress up in something cool and sexy but she already has a cool and sexy costume. Moon is giving them a ride to the dance which means Sam, who is trying so hard to be popular, doesn't want her sister to embarrass her. Sam comes out when Moon and Yasmine pull up and she tells them she's sorry they have to cart her younger sister around with them tonight. Yasmine makes a comment about how they can ditch Reader at the dance and Sam kind of just let's it slide.
Then Reader comes out dressed up as a gothic cheerleader just to get on Yasmine's nerves. Her costume contrasts their Laker girl costumes so drastically and her makeup is so emaculately done bringing attention to her eyes. Her black uniform is a two piece and a little tight, showing off her tits and her waist spills out between the seams. She flashes Yasmine a rare, bitter smile.
Yasmine is steaming the whole dance, trying to think of ways to get back at Reader for thus. However, she gets distracted halfway through when she sees Reader dancing with her friend Eli. The boy is a blushing mess as she dances with him, swaying her hips and showing off her figure. Yasmine swears the tightness in her chest is anger and she's sure she hates Reader LaRusso now, claiming it's because she thinks she's all that when she's not.
In actuality, Yasmine is jealous to see Reader dancing with someone, especially a nerd. However, she's so blinded by her popularity and thinking she is above Reader (probably with some not realizing she likes girls), she mistakes her feelings for disdain. That's the only logical explanation, right?

sometimes i have to sit back and wonder... what are we doing here, as a fandom? like is all of this really worth it?
the absolute vitriol i've seen thrown around for snc since they started dating k and m is incredibly depressing. especially towards colby. it is DISGUSTING what some of yall (hi twitter ppl that stalk my account 👋) say about him and about m. and same thing goes for sam and k.
you claim up and down "oh i have a right to say what i want, it's just an opinion." no, you actually don't have a right to say whatever you want, and especially without ppl calling you out. but then you have the fucking nerve to ask why snc don't talk to us, why they don't post as often, why they aren't around as much as they once were. idk, maybe it's bc you guys are appalling pieces of shit that say the most idiotic and degrading things and then somehow expect those same ppl you make fun of day in and day out to want to talk to you.
i don't really understand your thought process and i pray i never do. bc if i'm that down bad, i would be the most miserable person on the planet, just like you are.
bc i'm telling you right fucking now, there is not a SINGLE thing snc or those girls have done to warrant this behavior. none of what yall are doing is right or justified. you are deplorable, inexcusable cunts who should have been called out well before now. the nicest thing i can do for you is block you, instead of making a long list of every terrible, miserable, shitty person in this fandom and calling each of you out personally.
let me tell you one thing: there are a lot worst things in life than being a girl with fake tits, lip filler, and an onlyfans account. there's a lot worst things in life than a guy that broke up with his long time gf. there is a lot worst things in life than being someone who has consensual sex with willing partners multiple times in his life. and there is a lot worst things than being kinda childish, into spongebob, and having quasi-clout chasing friends.
and i genuinely have to ask - even tho i know i won't get an answer and i know whatever answers i do get aren't reasonable enough - what about seeing snc happy makes you angry? what about seeing them in relationships makes you think "i need to complain about that" or "i don't like that"? why does seeing snc happy upset you? what does that say about you? bc you claim you love them and want what's best... but clearly you don't. bc why isn't happiness the best for them? why do you think you know better?
seriously. consider taking a second to step back and think "why does seeing snc happy make me upset?" how deeply insecure do you have to be to truly feel that? it's sad, really. bc this should be a fun time in this fandom. but i have never felt more embarrassed to be a part of it than i do right now.
some of you are full grown adults too! well beyond the years of "i just didn't know any better". what a sad, little life you must have lived all this time to think that this type of behavior is valid and acceptable. it's a shame.

opinion on the finale of Hell week?
Apologies for the delay on this but I didn't watch it until late last night and didn't have the brain power to articulate my thoughts at the time.
Not that I'm in any better a state of mind now, but alas! This is the best it will get, so without further ado:
(As always spoilers and opinions behind the cut, so reader be aware)
I have really mixed feelings about this Hell Week finale.
I actually did like it (parts of it, anyway), I did. I think it fit in well with the story being told in the first two parts and was edited and storyboarded really well.
Here's the thing: I completely zoned out during the first 15 minutes or so. Like...another planet zoned out. There was too much yelling and shenanigans and I was tired, and I couldn't tell you what happened if you paid me to, to be perfectly honest.
I did enjoy the prom bit a little bit, although I thought them "inviting" ghosts from past investigations and having a high school style prom in an elementary school were both odd choices, but I did like the cinematography of the whole thing.
But the shit before that? Blank fucking slate.
But after Kris and Celina left and the ahit started hitting the fan? I perked up.
And boy was the second half of this video a revelation.
I have to preface all this by saying that I don't want to comment on Pythian Priestess or the work she does, because I don't have a full knowledge base of the rituals and what she practices. I'd prefer not to even go down that road when that isn't my particular highway.
So, I'm not going to add my 2 cents on any of that.
Instead, before I get into the big climax of the finale, I want to talk about Sam.
I wish I knew how to vocalize this in a way that wouldn't cause upset, but I don't, so here we go: this man is going to get himself and Colby killed if he doesn't chill the fuck out about wanting to prove the paranormal.
Seriously. This is a problem. I genuinely, genuinely think he would have lept for joy if Colby had said no to the boiler room, because that would've given him an opportunity to take one for the team and do it. I don't care what he said to the contrary - his mouth was saying, "it's safer if you do it," but his eyes were saying, "please don't do it so I can do it and have the Moment."
Look at when he asked the ouija board if *he* was in danger. If they had gotten a yes, he would've shoved Colby out of the way and koll-aid man'ed his way through the wall to get down there. He wants this shit, and he wants it to the exclusion of all reason and safety.
He's going to take it too far some day.
The fact that he knows this and doesn't seem to care is alarming.
And here's the crux of it - he wants it, and Colby doesn't. Colby's a God fearing man (yes yes yes Halloween costumes and blah blah blah but these things can and DO coincide). He doesn't want to put himself in these positions. He doesn't even seem to like going alone. Hes a believer, and he has a healthy amount of trepidation and fear.
And, according to some in the past, his convictions and something about his aura intimidates certain spirits.
So it's a mutual fear society on his side, but Sam's just like, "howdy pardner, step on in and take up shop in my soul!"
If there truly was some kind of dark entity in the vicinity of these two, which one do you think they'd target? The faithful man with plenty of fear to go around, or the guy jumping all over the room begging for a possession?
What I'm trying to say is: IN WHAT WORLD WAS SENDING COLBY DOWN THERE SAFER?
Morons lol.
So, with that in mind, let's talk about this boiler room thing.
First of all, I'm not saying there was or wasn't a possession, or a demonic entity, or what have you. I truly have no clue. None of us can say for sure.
But I can tell you this - Colby was in the throes of a panic attack.
Now, I say this because I have seen quite a few people trying to claim that Colby was "acting" and overdramatizing what happened down there. Putting aside the fact that Colby is a shit actor and we all know it...you cannot fake the effects of a panic attack like that. He can't fake the pale and bloodshot eyes, slurred and stunted speech, the trembling...that was real shit.
Was he also being possessed or developing an attachment? Maybe. Hard to tell. But I'm telling you that he was 100% having a panic attack.
And that was hard to watch.
Now Sam is a much, much better actor than Colby, so it's a little bit harder to discredit anyone saying he's acting in every scenario (believe it or not, that's a compliment). But he seemed to also show genuine fear and concern after leaving Colby alone in the basement, and after getting the responses he was getting. And that was genuine fear and concern when he got back to Colby and got a good look at the state of him.
I don't think any, and I mean any, of that was fake.
Again, I don't know if something attached itself to him or possessed him or what have you. I do think the slow look to the side and smirk was odd and cinematically creepy, but I don't know what it meant. I also think that Pythian Priestess' cleansing ritual happens to include a lot of elements used to calm people in the throes of a panic attack, so it's not surprising he felt better after interacting with her, whether there was something going on or not.
But say for the sake of argument he was either developing an attachment or being possessed. Think about the implications of that. A righteous man gets jog tied like a sacrificial lamb in a basement and challenges an evil being to show him it's power. Evil being proceeds to attempt to do just that. Righteous man somehow gets out of it and the whole evil being is summarily trapped in a jar and thrown in a river (or was he...?), and righteous man lives to fight another day.
Tell me that ain't a banging premise for an episode of Supernatural lol.
Anyway, the ending was really solid, if kind of alarming to watch at times - and by that I mean Colby planting a tree that was STILL IN THE POT - and I thought the little montage at the end was cute and heartwarming. The first 15 minutes almost took me out entirely, but then they really hooked me back in at the end. That's always, always a win.
Overall, I'd give this one a solid 7/10. I'd rewatch the second half of it again, that's for sure.
Anyway, this has been fun! Now that we've seen them all, what are your thoughts?
