Hello all. I'm back, Sampsonknight, I know I have been gone for sometime and haven't done any kind of managing of the group here or on DA, my apologies. That said I'm back and on my own account I will slowly be posting again, however right now I would like to say hello to you all and announce an event to kick off my return and get this group back to being active once more. 

In the past this group on DA used to host what I called the 12 days of Christmas. Basically, it's an event that goes for 12 days before Christmas, that each of those days have a designated theme attached to that day.

Anyone wanting to participate can write a story or poem based on said theme and if on DA add it to a folder in the group that I will designate for the event or link to the event on Tumblr. 

You can take part in one or all themes or none, it doesn't matter, it's up to you. This is just a fun thing to get the creative juices flowing.

There will be some rules of course but that will be pointed out later. 

All that take part at the end will receive a badge created by me. For the newer members not sure what I mean by badge, it's an art piece that will be of your favorite turtle including your user name on it and the event name. I will give you the badge link to download at the end of the event. As for rules and themes I will be posting the event’s details this weekend.

TMNT 13 days: october 21

The boys decided to go in the witch district in the Mystic city to met some witches. Mickey was super exited and Donnie well he wasn’t exited at all. He was wearing a disguise so there was no chance for the witch to recognise him.

They saw so many wonderful things that day. There were colorful clouds of magic in the air and it was beautiful. The boys were in heaven. Then a strange looking witch came to them and told them.

-         Would you like to have some magical sugary candy?

They all accepted and took one. the paper around the candy was the same but the candy inside was, funny enough, there colors.

Leo had a orange one.

Mickey had a purple one.

Raph had a blue one.

Donnie had a red one.

 The next days, the boys woke up and we heard them scream. Splinter jump from his bed and walk into the living room (where there is a skate board ramp) and saw his son go out of there respective room all in panic.

-         What is wrong red?

-         I don’t know pop I fill small. Said Leo

-         I said red not you blue.

-         But I am raph…

-         Blue this is not a funny joke cut it out. Red talk to me.

-         Eh guys, I don’t know what is going on but…

-         What! How can I be at two places at the same time! Scream Leo after finally looking at his brother.

-         …Raph? It is Donnie speaking

-         Guys I think we body swap! Scream Donnie when he got out of his room without his battle shell.

-         What is going on here!

-         Why is everyone screaming, said the last turtle. His eye immediately widen when he saw himself sanding in front of his room. Wait what is going on?!

-         WE SWAP BODY’s!

Splinter look at his son and tried to hold his laughter, but he eventually lost it and laugh like crazy.

-         You swap body’s on Halloween day HA HA HA HA. That is probably the fault of the witches HA HA HA HA HA. It is there kind of humour HA HA HA.

He wave goodbye to his son and went back to his room for some more sleeping. The boys where lost in word. They decided to go back to the mystic city and demand to get back to normal. Of course, they had to get prepared. Donnie (who was in Raph body) help Mickey (who is in Donnie’s body) to get the battle shell on well the other two where getting there weapon ready just in case it when wrong.

When they were at the witch town, they ask every witches on how to get back to normal, but they all just laugh. Finally after 23 laughing witches, one told them to go to the prank store. They ran there and they got in. there was at the desk there was the witch that gave them the candy. She looks up and ask:

-         Oh isn’t that the turtle brothers from yesterday. How the body swap doing?

-         We need to go back to normal please,

-         Well you just have to wait.

-         Wait? Wait for what? Ask Donnie (that is in Raph body)

-         It only last for 24 hours. You only need to wait a few more hours and you’ll be back to normal.

-         Oof at least it is not permanent. Said Raph (in Leo’s body)

-         Alright boys let’s get back to the lair and Donnie… carry me, said Leo (in Mickey body) will jumping on his brothers back.

-         Get off Leo!

-         No

later that day, Leo came back to the store and ask if he could buy some of the magic candy, she gave them earlier and she did. He had so many funny prank ideas.

I know it is short but I didn’t have a lot of inspiration. Maybe I’ll continue on this idea on later smaller story who knows.

12 Days of TMNT Christmas

12 Days of Christmas is coming to the TMNT Multiverse once again! It has been a hot minute, let me explain how this event works.

Between Dec 9th (being the first day) and ending on Dec 20th (the last day) there are set themes for each day. By taking part in whichever theme or themes (if you are doing more than one), you post that story/poem/drabble on the designated date. The date is based on your time zone, so yes we might have some stories a day early (I’m Eastern Canada) which is fine. Every day at the end of my time zone I will post a journal on DA and post on Tumblr linking all stories I have seen from DA, Tumblr, and AO3. If I miss your piece of work in the listings let me know and I will add it to the next day. At the end, I will post a full journal on the 22nd making sure I have all the stories.

So try posting the themes on their days if you can, there is no penalty for being late. This isn’t a strict event.

After the event is over I will have a badge for people that take part, and will show the badges at the end of the event.

Basic Rules

You can write either a short story, chapter (if you want to do one large story and have the themes as chapters), poem, or drabble.

When posting on AO3 and Tumblr have the #tag tmnt12daysxmas2024 to help me find. Also, put as a #tag the theme, so I know what day it belongs to. If I miss your piece on the postings, please just DM me with a link.

DA please add your story to the group to the feature folder, I will only accept the story in the folder if in either the title or description of the story entered says it’s part of 12 days of Christmas. 

The story has to be part of the TMNT universe, no crossovers. Can be any universe or AU.

OC are welcome.

The story should keep with the theme if possible and be geared towards the holiday season.

No AI-generated stories, in other words having AI generate a story by your prompt. It’s okay to use an AI tool to help you figure out how to fix a sentence or paragraph you wrote, but it should be the one doing the work for you.

TMNT 13 Days of Halloween 2020

13 Days of HORROR is coming to the TMNT Multiverse once again!

Last year we were warned of some pending doom to come, something in the last fan book... We can't let them have us all, first the dolls, (First fan book...) then the warning more is to come... This year we make our stand, let's show them our horrors and put them back in their place!

This year, just like the other years, we have 13 themes designated for each day between the 19th to the 31st of October.   Like the previous years, we have done this event, we are opening this fun and terrifying challenge for you guys to take part and both Writers AND Artists are welcome to join.

To join, all you need is to follow the rules listed below and flag the journal I will put out showing all stories related to the 13 days (Which will be posted on Oct 18th). This will help me know who is taking part and which stories to add to the '13 Days' journal.

Rules

To take part, you need to use the themes provided below and post your work on the day it is due. Also, please include the theme in either the title or description and add #tmnt13days and possible the hashtag that is associated with the date example #tmnt13daysoct19. You don't have to take part in each day's theme, you can just do the ones that you're interested in. Unless of course you want to challenge yourself, then please, be our guest.

The artwork can be images or short comics and must be fully coloured or black and white.

The stories can be drabbles, short stories or chapter stories.

Chapters: You have the choice of making some of your stories chapter stories or the full thirteen days as one long story. This is up to you. 

However, each chapter has to have a designated theme that wasn't used on another past story and go with the order of themes.

All work must be ready to post on its designated day. You have until 11:59pm EST on each day to post that day's story or it will not make it into the journal.

The stories or artwork must revolve around horror and/or any Halloween themes. For eg: ghosts, vampires, monsters, demons and so on and so on; your imagination is your only limit.

Your entry must be focused on a canon character. However, you may include extras/OCs if you wish.

Your work must be set in a TMNT Universe. No crossovers with other fandoms (Usagi excepted).

Your work may be posted on other sites, but if you can mention the challenge that would be appreciated.

WHAT IF... CHALLENGE #1

A what if... challenge is where I give a scenario and either (or all if wanted):

reblog this with your idea on how it ended;

write a story based on it;

Draw what you think would happen.

Only two rule, be kind don’t bash anyone’s ideas, they can end this any way they want. Second rule doesn’t have to be cannon, can be based on head cannon.

Scenario:

After a long grueling battle, the brothers are locked into a showdown with a mysterious foe that hasn’t quite revealed themselves, other than they are hell bent to destroy the universe. With an hour long battle, breath escaping their lungs, they still stood tall, even when the climax hits and they are victorious, or are they? Before either turtle brother could do anything, they feel off, as a crackle shatter their worlds. They are cursed for defeating it, the foe hisses, to be curse to never fight again. All their abilities were snatched and placed in others, on how many that wasn’t told, yet their fighting skills, reflects everything they held precious for survival was gone and can never be relearned. However, there was hope, the foe did give them a haunting solution, to regain what they have lost, they must find which humans possessed their essence... and kill them to gain it back...

So now reader, what do you think? How did this end? Did the brothers do the disgusting deed giving the foe the satisfaction proving the so-called heroes are nothing but hypocrites? Do they live on as is? Or was there something else that may happen instead? Your choice, for there is no right answers, only the limitation of one’s imagination!

Brooding - Story Time #1

I have a new little fun activity! Looking at this picture comment on why you think he is brooding over this time. Yes he is drinking a juice box  lol. Was it over Leo?Was it over training?Is there something plaguing him? There is no right or wrong answer to this. Even I will have a comment with my idea. Will do more of these with screenshots too for fun.
