A/N: I’ve wanted to write for these ones for a while, but I never really had a plot idea. So this time i thought fuck it, and just wrote something for the hell of it. Enjoy💚🐢

All characters are aged up.

Warnings: Fire, attempted attack, implied smut.

First time you saw him, you saw them all together. All four. In the middle of the night, running through the forest. Faster than lighting, disappearing the moment you first saw them. For a time you thought you were going crazy. That your eyes were playing tricks on you. There was no way you had actually seen them. There was no way they were hanging out around your village. You had heard rumors from other cities, but that had just been rumors. One thing was shinobis, but shinobi turtles… there was just no way. That couldn’t be real.

The second time you saw him, it was up close. It was while your village was getting attacked. You were running past the burning buildings, hoping to get home and find your family. You hoped they were okay. You hoped that everybody was alright. But the world wasn’t going to let you be so lucky. You found yourself on the dirty road in less than a second, having been tripped by one of the attack warriors. Standing over you as you tried to back away from him, staring at his sword in fear. That was when he showed up, in a flash of his signature color, jumping on your attacker.

He sent your attacker running down the burning streets, scared of what he had just had to fight. That was when he turned to look at you, and you found all air leaving your lungs at the sight of his eyes. His beautiful deep eyes, filled with emotions. You had not yet seen his face due to his mask, but you could already imagine what beautiful face might be hiding underneath. And then, just as the two of you had made eye contact, he was gone. Though it had just felt a breathtaking eternity, looking into his eyes, it had been less than a second. And as you ran home, finding your home and family safe, you kept thinking about his eyes. His beautiful eyes.

The third time you saw him, it was almost like the first time. He and the other three flashing through the forest, just before your very eyes. At this point the villagers were sure that they were sticking around for a time, looking out just in case of another attack. Therefore more and more people had been noticing them in the forest, just like you. But for a moment, you swore you saw him stop and look at you. Because for a short moment, you got to see his beautiful eyes again. And then, he was gone again, leaving you looking at nothing but the depths of the forest behind your family home.

Nights passed, and with each night you thought you saw him flash by in the forest. You heard stories of fights in the night. Enemy warriors being attacked at their camps by four shinobis. At this point the village was sure. They were her to protect the village. And for some reason, that made you more than just a little happy. You were excited. Not just for your home being protected, but by the thought of being able to see his beautiful eyes again.

You started looking out for him every night, hanging out behind your home, looking for him through the threes until late at night. It took a few days before you finally mustered the courage to actually sneak into the forest at night. You feared what your family would think or say, knowing that you were putting yourself in danger like that, especially now that it was known, the enemy’s men were hiding out there.

You did this for a few days, always returning home just before the sun rose in the east. And each time you returned, without having seen his beautiful eyes. Until one night, you found him. Or rather, he found you. He stopped you, wrapping his arms around you from behind, covering your mouth so you couldn’t scream, just before you could step into the enemy camp hiding right behind the bushes.

That night you had plenty of time to look into his eyes as he helped you home. He warned you of the dangers of going out during these times, yet he was friendly, encouraged you in small talk. He did not tell you his name, nor did he ask for yours. And no matter how much you wish he would have done it, he never showed you his face. How you wished he had shown you his face.

So therefore you went out again, looking for him once more. And this time, he found you again, leaning against a tree with his arms crossed, yet his eyes were smiling at you. He was happy to see you. Nonetheless he helped you home once more. But this time you had to try.

“What’s your name?”, you asked him as he escorted you through the forest.

“What’s your name?”, he asked back, reluctant to tell you.

“(Y/N)”, you answered.

“That’s a pretty name”, he answered, still not letting you know his name. But now, the butterflies had made their way into your stomach.

The next night, you were surprised to find him waiting for you, just a few meters into the forest, greeting you with your name. This time he spent some more time with you, asking you about the village, slowly asking more and more questions about you. And as time passed by and your conversation continued, you finally decided to ask him.

“Can I see your face?”

And to your surprise, he let you. With a small chuckle and hesitant hands, he took off his mask, letting you see his face close up for the first time. And just like you had thought, he was just as beautiful as his eyes.

That night you also got to know his name. And when you spoke it, it did something to him. Just like you had been feeling butterflies, he felt them too. Ever since he first saw you, he had thought that you were beautiful, but hearing you say his name did more than he ever had thought it would.

That night the two of you made love on the forest floor just beneath the tree. With your skirt pushed up over your waist, his pants pulled down just far enough to let him free. None of you cared about the dangers of such actions in the forest, with possible dangers that could be hiding behind every tree and every bush. The two of you were lost in each other's eyes, lips, sounds and warm embrace.

Soon that became a nightly routine for the two of you - meeting in the forest to feel the love and warmth of each other’s skin and words. Sometimes he would have minor cuts and injuries after he and his brothers had been protecting your village. Other times he was perfectly fine. But each and every time, you and him would spend your nights together in pure bliss, even if a root from a tree was poking your back.

One day this horrible war would be over, and then you and him could be together. One day the enemies would be gone from the forest, and out of the king's land, and you and him could live together in peace. You and your shinobi with the beautiful eyes.

I got sweet retribution for my TMNT 2003/Mirage Comics storyline in the Naruto crossover micro series. Take that, Yoshi Rat Dopers. I love to see Naruto honor the decade of my favorite TMNT cartoon series, when they were dominating the 2000’s.😌

Just added to the ScrollBoss site today, these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sprites based on a pose from their 1989 NES game. I didn't have any sprites ripped from it myself, so I looked at a sprite sheet and mistakenly thought one of the walk frames was the idle/stand pose. So now I still have to make a sprite of the real idle pose. *shrugs*

Throughout the many iterations of TMNT the four Turtles of the Hamato Clan have always been iconic but Leo, Donnie, Raph & Mikey aren’t the only Turtles of the family & there have been other mutant Turtles throughout the different iterations of TMNT

Another mutant Turtle is one that has been seen a few times in different TMNT iterations either following a ‘separated at mutation’ plot line or have the mutation happen later in the story

Venus

One of the other mutant Turtles that is quite well known within the TMNT fandom would be Venus De Milo who was the 5th Turtle in the Next Mutation show.

Her background was that she was a 5th Turtle that was mutated with Leo, Donnie, Raph & Mikey but got swept away in the sewers until she ended up in China Town where she was found by a Shinobi master & taken to be raised in Shanghai, she would later make her way back to New York & join the Turtle’s team.

Venus also makes an appearance as a character in the IDW comics as a former Punk Frog who was made into a Turtle by Dr Barlow using Donnie’s old shell.

Leo: What are you doing!? That was Venus De Magic the Queen of Quick Change!

There’s a slight possible reference to Venus in Rise with one of Leo’s favourite magicians being called Venus De Magic with Leo cradling the bust of one of his favourite magicians feeling a bit similar to Venus holding the statue head that gave her, her nickname & many people believe that there were plans to include Venus in Rise due to the plot of season 3 being the Turtles finding out they had two missing siblings but due to Rise not getting the season 3 it had expected we never got to find out if Venus really was one of the missing siblings in Rise.

Kirby

Closely related to Venus is the mutant Turtle Kirby a 5th Turtle that had been planned to be introduced in the 1990′s film series before the fourth movie was cancelled, named after the comic book artist Jack Kirby, Kirby was meant to be a Turtle from another dimension that would join the Turtles. There was talk of Kirby being the 5th Turtle in the Next Mutation but Saban Entertainment refused to do the series unless the 5th Turtle was a girl leading to Venus being created.

A version of Kirby was designed for the IDW comics where he was meant to be shown as part of the Splinter Clan in Future Lita’s future however though a design was created for Kirby he was not included in the actual comic.

Funnily enough Kirby the Turtle is not the only TMNT character to be named after Jack Kirby as April’s father in the 2012 series also shares the name Kirby

Jennika

Jennika is the 5th Mutant Turtle on the team in the IDW comics, she is a former Foot Clan Ninja who Splinter took under his wing & was mutated into a Turtle when Leo gave her a blood transfusion to save her life.

Before her mutation Jennika had been a friend of the Turtles & the idea of Jennika becoming a mutant Turtle had been tossed around for three years before it was finally finalised.

Jennika’s mutant form was originally designed by Sophie Campbell & coincidentally bares some resemblance to a fan character that Sophie Campbell designed named Artemisia (most likely named after the Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi), the similarities between Jennika & Artemisia’s designs are said to be a coincidence as it was requested that Jennika’s bandana colour be yellow to match her hair from when she was human.

Sophie Campbell actually did get to include a canon version of Artemisia in the IDW comics by giving her a cameo in Future Lita’s future as a member of the Splinter Clan in the future.

Slash

Slash is arguably the 5th Turtle that has appeared in the most iterations of TMNT appearing in both the 1987 & 2012 series as well as appearing in both the Archie & IDW comics

In the 1987 series Slash was Bebop’s pet turtle who was mutated by Rocksteady & would later become the Turtle’s enemy, in the 2012 series Slash was Raph’s pet turtle who was mutated accidentally & would act as an enemy to the Turtles before becoming their ally & becoming the leader of the Mutanimals.

In the Archie comics Slash is an alien who was banished from his planet in the IDW comics Slash was mutated by StockGen who ended up following Hob & becoming an ally to the Turtles

Slash has even made a cameo in Rise appearing in the episode Bad Hair Day with a character meant to look like Mona Lisa.

Lita

Lita is a little girl who was mutated into a Turtle & taken in by Jennika & the other Turtles, she was named after Lita Ford (Jennika’s favourite singer), & she seems to view Jennika & the other Turtles as family as the Future version of Lita referred to Jennika as ‘mom’ & has called Raph, Donnie & Leo ‘Dad’.

It’s been shown that at some point in the future Lita becomes the apprentice & assistant to a grown up version of Renet

It appears that the future version of Lita is arguably especially close with Leo due to him being her Sensei

Uno, Yi, Moja & Odyn

Uno, Yi, Moja & Odyn are Turtles raised by Casey Marie Jones as the second generation of Ninja Turtles in the Last Ronin universe. The Turtles each seem to take after one of the original four Turtle’s with Uno taking after Leo, Yi taking after Donnie, Moja taking after Raph & Odyn taking after Mikey.

Each of the Turtles are named after the number one in different languages.

Misplaced AU

Okay so remember this post? Yeah here’s some designs:

Just and reminder I am only going based off the Samurai Rabbit from that Netflix Show. I haven’t read the comics and I only know Usagi’s character from his TV show and TMNT. Anyways here’s some context/ideas that I have come up for this AU

So this takes AFTER the movie, so I’ve always headcanon that after the movie Leo became a lot more serious and focused on protecting his family. Like to the point of training himself until he collapsed. However he does try to hide that from his brothers so not to ‘burden’ them.

Most of the time I see LeoSagi fics where Usagi tends to be the more mature or level-headed one compared to Leo. So I wanted to change that, this would be an AU where Leo is the more “mature” one and Usagi was more so goofing off. Leo would still crack jokes and so on. He wouldn’t be hiding his seriousness too much with Usagi and his friends. I wanted a story where it’s Usagi showing/reminding Leo it’s okay to make mistakes and to have fun. Which I think it’s a fun twist with these characters.

Okay I hope that made sense now onto the actual AU.

So when Usagi makes contact with the Ki-Stone Leo and his brothers were fighting in a museum where a piece of the Ki-Stone in this universe activated just as Usagi made content. Leo would notice one of his brothers being too close to the Ki-Stone as it activated which would make him push them out of the way.

Sadly for Leo that meant the Ki-Stone would end up grabbing him and taking him to Usagi’s world. The Ki-Stone created the clothing Leo is wearing in the drawing. It’s based off of Ninja/Shinobi painting in the 17th century. I did add some changes to the outfit so they can fit Leo’s character. I hope I did a good job at that.

Anyways throughout Usagi’s journey Leo would be helping him out since he is only way back home. Leo was mad at Usagi for a while, since it is his fault that he dragged there, however Leo does forgive him.

Leo still does have his powers in Neo Edo. He is also contacted to the Ki-Stone since it brought him there and a part of us literally a part of the Ki-Stone. If that makes sense?? Think of it as Leo 3/4 of his souls and the Ki-Stone is holding 1/4 of his soul.

Final detail I wanted to added, the flowers Usagi is giving are cameillias flowers. Which according to my research means love in Japan. Think of it as their roses for them.

Y'know what?

Venus di Milo should be in the TMNT mutant mayhem sequel. She's a underutilized character that can contrast with the ninja siblings

Plus it could help establish the foot clan as a threat if you keep the backstory of her master being killed but make it the shredder. Her reason for coming to new York is to track down shredder and discovers shredder was hired to capture the ninja turtles.

Once they meet, she trains them in the ways of Shinobi as opposed to this canon where splinter is not a master turned into a rat.

Her place storytelling wise is introducing the idea of going up against a serious and dark threat. She is a serious ninja who has kept up the idea of secrecy for years combating the foot clan. She's deeply confused by the boy's social nature and the overall acceptance of mutants.

At first she sees them as nuisances and children but teaching them how to fight she lightens up, learns to like company. Have a family she lost.

For the first time ever she's a ninja with a clan and now with her team, she's ready to avenge her master

(About RWBY/TMNT crossover) And of course you would have to have at least one shout-out to the “A fellow chucker, eh?” scene from the first live-action movie, but with Sun and Michelangelo showing off their nunchuck (gunchuck?) skills to each other. What would Splinter be like, I wonder? Obviously he would be a Faunus like his sons, a rat in this case, but I was thinking that he might actually just be called Hamato Yoshi if you decided to go the AU approach with it, (1/2)

with “Splinter” possibly being a nickname some call him (former teammates?). Then you can do what the 2012 series did and have the Turtles share the Hamato Clan’s surname. But that’s just my thinking on it. (2/2)

Yes, Sun and Michelangelo should get along swimmingly.

If we want to locate the Hamato Clan in Mistral, we could go with the idea that they were a faunus clan of shinobi. This parallels how the shinobi were considered undesirables who were tolerated only because they were useful to those in power. Though admittedly, my understanding of that portion of Japanese history isn't the best.

But even that's not necessary. We could stick with 'Splinter' (technically a color-compliant name; 'wooden brown') being a human originally, and getting mutated.

Remnant has room for bio-engineering mad science.

The four brothers might be named after "Valish" artists (as substitutes for Italians) from before the Great War. Since Vale didn't go through the anti-art movement of Mantle and Mistral, and any artists from before the Great War wouldn't have had color-names.
