I was looking through mermay art and my brain went: leosagi but mermaid/pirate au GO GO GO!! And now we’re here.

Tiny back story to this is that Leo got lost and swam up a river estuary instead of down back towards the ocean and ended up finding a certain rabbit who had to help get him back home. They became friends and were very sad to part from each other, but ofc they find each other again and it’s dramatic af <3

In this universe, after the Mud Dogs gang escaped from prison, they stole Captain Piel's airship and renamed it the SS "La Sylphide". They mainly rob Big Mom's merchant ships, but sometimes rob other mafia units in the Hidden city. These guys call themselves noble pirates and periodically help the turtles in their missions

I proudly present, Forever Tide. (Get it? I’m so funny and original). A comic for my silly leosagi mer/pirate au that’s gotten EXTREMELY out of hand. Anywho.

This is only the prologue so there is more to come, but I’m sooo happy with this. Not every part will be as detailed as this (I hope, my perfectionism is kinda insane, I never intended to do so much with this first part), and I can’t wait to share each part of this story!!
