April O’ Neil redesign! 🐢👩🏻‍🦰

So I noticed the controversy of April’s redesign in 2023 with TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, so I thought I would attempt to redesign her. I imagined a concept where the TMNT universe is based within the late 90s to early 00s.

I do not own TMNT or its characters, this was only done as a headcanon and for fun.

I say practice, but trust me they each took multiple hours

LOTS of stuff under the cut

Simplified: i reached the image limit so you get them all clean and cut in this reblog

Dots: hues picked by near-by areas of the drawings, modified to be mid-toned

Wheels: general color scheme

I hope they don't sound too horrendously out of character, I know my 2012 interpretation is very fanon but I do try to keep some semblance of their original personalities lol
