I have a question about hsh Adam

If the "home" according to what he says is not capable of feeding on alternates, why was Adam the alternate being adsorbed? Could it be that Home got confused believing that he is a common human?

I'm unsure how much I can say but. Home did probably mistake him for a human.

I just turned 18 and I was never into the political aspect of India and I'm not sure if I should be because everything is a mess and so confusing.

My parents are BJP supporters, being of the Scheduled Caste and we live in an urban area. I acknowledge the development BJP has done for India in the last years but im not well educated on the atrocities they've committed. I'm aware of their speeches being incredibly right-leaning and they create a sense of unease in communities.

And I sense that most people my age are aligned with Congress but I'm not sure why seeing that their urge to support Congress only comes from a feeling to remove Modi. I'm not sure how good a Congress govt could be, when they're aligning themselves with TMC which is akined to BJP.

I've heard Congress got a lot of minorities votes but also seeing that theyre promising 1L to Muslim women, if they win dosent seem like a good use of tax money.

I know India is far away from even getting close to the development we need, such as equal marriage opportunities, true secularism, abolishment of caste system and everything. But since there isn't a party/alliance in India that truly aligns itself with my views, I can't help but be stuck in a limbo between both the parties and feel helpless.

Do you think it's okay for a person to not be into politics in India, it's not something I want to concern myself with atm, but I'm afraid when I do start getting involved it might be too late.

One word of advice: Don't align yourself with parties. Develop your own worldview first, make it in such a way that you are ready to accept data and information in a way where you can analyse and create meaning for yourself. Have some non negotiable principles for yourself- don't forget humanity and compassion.

No party will ever have the ideology that 100% aligns to your worldview, hell, I voted against my own principles this election.

Also Congress isn't promising 1L to just Muslim women, its for ALL women. They're proposing a kind of Universal Basic Income to help try and bridge the MASSIVE inequalities in this country. That's why they're increasing the wealth tax.

But now that the elections are over, it doesn't really look like EVERYTHING they propose will go through. But our Parliament and the discussions in it will at least have livelier discussions and better viewpoints.

Anyway- whatever you do- work from grassroots. Join organisations that do work on that level, political parties (with maybe the exception of AAP) don't usually do this work. Gain a wealth of experience talking to your fellow citizens, and you will realise the complexity of our society.

-ive mentioned this before but I think he loves bugs but HATES reptiles. Unironically thinks snakes are a little bit evil. But will also pick up wasps with no problem.

-i think he has Very unregulated emotions and he has a lot of trouble processing them, and most of the time he just represses that shit. Like he will be standing there doing nothing, space out, start thinking about his place in the universe, be overwhelmed by soul-crushing despair, start crying, and then shut down his emotions and force himself to stop crying. All in the span of 1 minute. Like nobody even notices unless they were paying attention to him. This happens multiple times a day. Please get him a healthier coping mechanism

- I've seen some ppl hc mark with ocd and they are so right. i think he definitely has a compulsion related to numbers/patterns and gets absorbed by his thoughts a lot. also intrusive thoughts.

-OH i also think he picks at his skin and lips and maybe pulls out his hair sometimes. he'll just start bleeding and go ooops

-i see a lot of people hc that mark was going through a really hard time during the events of vol 1 and i agree but i propose to you. what if he had already gone through a bunch of shit and was finally getting better. what if he was finally taking better care of himself, he didn't feel like he was drowning 24/7, he felt alive. and then he answers the phone in vol1 and its all violently ripped away from him. finally wanting to live only to be doomed to die is a cruel fate.

-also i think he loves cats. i think thats p much canon but its very important to me.

-i also have a lot of hcs i go back and forth on. like would he be horrified if he saw someone smoke weed or would he tell them to pass the blunt. i cant decide which one is funnier so its in hc limbo. Honestly I have like. 20 different interpretations of each tmc character in my head.

So the main idea is that Joel willingly wants to become a witch, because his mother has a spell book (she never used it) around the house and he wants to do all those cool spells

Like, the words are all right, it's just that he's making a clown out of himself. Six is mentally screeching, but the others are amused enough to entertain the idea of Joel joining them (it's like the woman in the video, he's looking around like "you can't be fucking serious")

And Six is going to have a damn near apoplexy if Gabe agrees to this dumbass to join them,so he just goes "you know what, fuck you!" and freezes him in an ice cube (Gabe probably yelled at him for that lmao)

Then Chloe finds Joel and the state he's in, and starts an adventure to find the ice witch (Mystifying Oracle's demon) so that they can unfreeze her friend.

I'll say there's a happy conclusion, the only thing that changed is that Joel is now permanently pale because he spent so much time stuck in ice

i like this though! and maybe instead of six just nonchalantly freezing joel, he pisses the witches off somehow which warrants him to get frozen (like him getting stuck in limbo bc he pissed off the ghost(s) too much in mo). how he would do that though im not too sure.

and ngl six would probably actually be p happy that another guy would want to join. plus the current witches are getting p old, so maybe joel would be a nice newer addition like tiffany and adam. but then joel pisses off the group so gabe probably would take the liberty of freezing joel instead of six.

if mo was in the au tho, i would agree that the ghost from mo would be their own witch and be part of the group. the snow queen tale is perfect for it too! it would probably be a fun side story to write, but ngl im not too big on mo being canon to tmc, so i personally like to keep them separate.

Stanley (TMC) was indeed inspired by Limbo!

Limbo himself appeared on Sesame Street in the earliest episodes, teaching kids how to count, though he was more often referred to as 'Nobody' by fans. So having Stanley star in a ""kid-friendly"" short in the TMC universe is very fitting.

As someone who likes the Stanley Parable... this is not the Stanley I'd wanna cross paths with. He inherits Limbo's unsettling nature and takes full advantage of it.

mandela v2. elaborate 👁👁

so funny story this ask has been sitting in my drafts for like 2 months cuz i honestly didn't know how to even begin to describe what mandela v2 is. it's an enigma even i don't know what it is it's just a dark spot in my brain that i occasionally stick my head into and come out covered in ashes and piranhas but. i'll try ig !!

it's kinda just me taking the characters and very general rules of this universe and making like. a completely new story put of them . a lot of the events are similar but shuffled around and there's a ton of new shit and it is FULL of headcanons and really self indulgent shit lol. it's not based on anything and there's no central premise it's just. another version of tmc. hence v2

i can't list every change in there because even i don't know the full extent of the changes i made but uh

- cesar has a special interest in the occult because autistic cesar is real to ME okay. he writes a bunch of shit about alternates and they figure out how to channel spirits because they're just like that. he kinda becomes a hermit the older they get and they have a very normal kinship with alternates that definitely isn't anythign to worry about :)

- cesar lives his encounter with alt!cesar but mark doesn't so mark's ghost (after escaping limbo and reliving his trauma because mark has to be absolutely miserable all the time it's required by law) follows him around and cesar occasionally channels him. but it works like in ace attorney so he physically changes to look like mark n shit it's funky

- bps isn't a high school club turned society but rather a giant underground operation with a head council and divisions in mandela + bythorne + werksha + etc. with the main goal of fighting both alternates and the police wherever they can. they're the ones that discover that dragonbreath bullets kill alternates and they have an entire research division it's cool i love v2 bps

- jonah joins bps before adam does in this au and ze's kinda like. the vice president of bps despite technically being too young when they first join. they mean everything to me in this au you have no idea

- mandelatech is a much larger corporation too. bps/mcpd/mandelatech are like. 3 warring factions kinda (which. yes. means that dave and eve end up fighting w bps a lot. it's. eugh)

- thatcher stays as lieutenant a lot longer than he does in canon and ae's just. so pissed at everything god bless. ☕ wants everything to be okay but he buries those hopes in pure rage <3 ☕'s canonically won fights against alts with aer bare hands so people know not to fuck with him. he'd call canon thatcher wet and pathetic LOL

- generally v2's on a much larger scale and kinda considers the world of tmc as a whole, rather than just focusing on specific characters. idk i like worldbuilding it's fun so sue me. there are a lot of ocs that fill the space suffice to say and i am totally willing to just throw whatever i want in there. this au is my witch's cauldron

- mervin has some shit to do maybe good for him

i love this au but it's like. definitely my least comprehensible (except for maybe tmcblr is that even counts) i just do whatever the fuck i want and no one can stop me. don't ask me questions about it i don't have to explain myself
