hiiiii, i was supposed to come back like. the end of august, but that's gonna be delayed bc the two collabs im in changed their due dates to the end of this month. i might just post stuff here anyway bc im bored (not the collab pieces tho, those will be posted when those collabs end), and insta's already gotten stuff that y'all havent, so that might be cool.

general update

its been over a month since i like. ig "left" tumblr? i havent been active here at all and only checked it for any notifs. despite the weird gore rbs i got like. two days ago, ive actually been doing p okay. im mentally preparing to go back to college next week (just to my apartment tho, classes dont start until the 26th), and ive actually been drawing a bit more! mostly for art collabs i joined, but i still think theyre p cool!! i hope to post them here once those deadlines come up bc i wanna show you guys, esp to those who dont follow my insta.

i'll most likely come back to tumblr when i upload those drawings though. it'll give me enough time to adjust back to college by the time that day comes. ive also been thinking a LOT abt like. oc lore, specifically for ug. i will also open my askbox up again by that time in case you guys wanna ask questions or just check in (ofc ur not forced to do so, do so if you want).

personal update

hey um. it's been a bit. i know i said i'd try to post more, maybe get some art out, but nothing has come out. for almost an entire year now, i've been completely demotivated from drawing, writing, doing anything creative. it's probably bc for years i've only posted my art to be like a "content creator" instead of posting just to show other people. irl i get very embarrassed abt showing off anything i do in fear of harsh critique, but online i never really had to worry abt that. but even then, posting my art has never been for the fun of posting but to gain popularity.

to be fair, ive never been a "popular artist" in any definition of the word. ive always had a small following on every social media i've owned, and any sort of "fame" i gained was being friendly w someone w way more followers than i could ever dream of getting. and even then, it didnt change much.

i think im gonna stop posting often. im really only gonna post here and there if i ever feel like it because i wanna give myself more time to get into drawing again and stuff. i dont want to lose my passion for art, ever, and im scared that this severe burnout is going to take that away. like, usually i can draw a lot when i have a hyperfixation, but even hyperfixating on pjsk hasn't given me much in terms of drawing inspo.

im also just not gonna be on tumblr in general much. maybe i'll immediately go back on that immediately after this, but idk. for rn, you're not gonna see me in ur notes if i follow you, im not gonna be asking questions, i just. can't. im sorry to the friends this will be affecting bc i love your works, i love your funny posts, i just can't be here in this state.

idk if i wanna turn my askbox off, so i'm keeping it open for right now. you can send em stuff there, i just wont answer it for a long while.

I feel like ive seen quite a few gfms getting passed around and ive observed that a lot of them have stories of such exceptional people who have achieved so much, or were going to before the genocide cut it off. And i really commend them for it, i really do.

But it breaks my heart that palestinians reaching out to us feel the need to have to prove that they are they are good people who are worth the support, like theyre only worth being supported if they had a good gpa or were exceptional in some way.

They shouldnt have to prove that theyre beneficial to the economy somehow to be worth the support. They shouldnt have to be exceptional to deserve help. Our governments are putting them through this, both in the west and around the world too. They shouldnt have to prove anything. We owe them this

Every single person saying “sex is real, it’s gender that’s not real” to support trans people needs to sit down and think about how that affects intersex people.

Sex is literally made up. Sex characteristics? Real. Genitalia is real, hormone levels are real, chromosomes are real… But dividing those into two boxes isn’t real. We arbitrarily threw together the two most common combinations of these traits, called them male and female, and said fuck everyone who doesn’t fit into that.

Sex isn’t some holy thing that only the most radical people want to destroy, it’s a farce used to justify the medical abuse of intersex people. If you want to be an ally to intersex people, please take the time to think about these things. Think about the way we talk about sex and how it might be hurting intersex people.

Using “assigned gender” language, legitimating the idea of a sex binary, calling intersex types “conditions”/“disorders”/etc., comparing intersex people to animals with diverse sex characteristics, and not listening to or acknowledging intersex people are all things people need to stop doing if they want to be allies to intersex people.

I’m trans as well as intersex, I know that supporting trans rights is incredibly important, but it should not be done at the expense of intersex people.

I am genuinely curious how intersex folk refer to the self’s in trans/cis terms? Is it just too difficult as these terms are overall not build upon the fact that sex, like gender, isn’t just one or the other? Like does someone who was raised female but is actually intersex call themself cis if they are a woman? Probably depends on the person I’d be pleased if an intersex person would be kind enough to explain this as it’s kinda hard to find proper first hand experience

Reminder for stealth perisex trans people that saying "I'm cis, I just have low/high T" (and similar phrases) to explain your secondary sex characteristics, like voice pitch, facial hair, breast growth, etc, IS LYING ABOUT BEING INTERSEX.

A cis person with features like what you're implying WOULD BE INTERSEX. An AFAB person with natural male-typical facial hair IS intersex. An AMAB person with natural female-typical breast growth IS intersex. You guys are just lying about having intersex traits in order to pass. Some of you straight up say "oh I have a hormone disorder". You're simultaneously co-opting our cause and furthering our erasure with the portrayal of intersex traits as "cis person with sex disorder", which separates these traits from the word intersex. You're still lying about being intersex even if you never actually say the word intersex.

And it doesn't even help yall avoid transphobia. Intersexism and transphobia go hand & hand. You're still a target.

If you are put in a position where you need to lie, I'd recommend lying about being a detransitioner. That's the only thing I could honestly see working.
